Hello people!
I know I keep saying this, but gah, I'm so effing sick of life right now. Everything I have to do - and I do mean everything - is being pushed down on me like some kind of compression machine. If I'm not working on 18 in '08 (which, yes, I'm still working on), I'm investigating colleges. If I'm not investigating colleges, I'm doing homework. Or I'm trying to write, or trying to have SOME KIND of free time online. I'm just sick of it all. *sigh*
Moving on. Photo was fun AGAIN cuz we took more shoebox pics, lol. I got a bitchin one today! My first two blew but my last one came out great. We're next to the teachers' parking lot, so I decided I wanted to try taking a pic of a car. I wasn't sure which to take a picture of, but then I saw one with an Obama/Biden sticker, and it popped out on the car, so I figured that'd be a good one to take a pic of. ;]
I positioned my camera on another car and waited for the pic to take. And it came out FANTASTIC! You can really see the Obama/Biden sticker. It's so awesome, I love it. <3 I'll post it when I get it back. Um, math...oh! I did the homework during class and the teach totally didn't notice, lol. It made me smirky. XD Um, AP Gov. we went off in tangents, of course, one of them being about Palin. GUH, the bitch. I hate her.
Speaking of Palin and her freakish scariness, check out what zeitgeist_10 made! IT KICKS SO MUCH ASS! Continuing with the school day, forensics was stupid. We did fingerprinting, and I've really never been that interested with fingerprints. But, oh, well. Um, MindCandy was kinda stupid, too. We just walked around promoting Gallery X. Meh, dull. But we didn't have to work, so that's good-ish, lol.
I'm thinking of maybe singing a Dr. Horrible song for Gallery X (mini!talent show). Perhaps "Story of a Girl," mostly cuz it's the only one I can stay in key for the whole song, LOL. I wish I could sing "On the Rise" but I don't have a guy to sing Horrible's part. *sad-face* Oh, well. Plus, I get REALLY nervous, so I dunno, I prolly won't do it, but it's a fun idea to entertain.
I talked to Mr. McClure about a hat day, and it's a complicated process, but I'll get it done. Then mom picked me up and we met up with Andrew (co-worker I've mentioned a few times) at Starbucks. I got the usual - double-blended caramel frappucino. It was delicious. A little stronger than I'm used to, but good. And I got to chat with Andrew about college and high school and stuff, and he's a really great guy(and cute!) so it was quite fun. Plus, he got a tattoo! So we talked about tattoos, too, lol, and that's always a fun topic. <3
After that, mom had an appointment, so I got to sit in the car and rock out to music, which is much more fun than it sounds, haha. I LOVE blasting music and rocking out when I'm alone in the car. SO much fun. Then...we went home and watched some Cash Cab and now Kitchen Nightmares is on.
I haven't really heard anything all that funny, so I used a line from Bo Burnham's "Cookout" (again) for the title tonight. My lack of originality depresses me, LOL. Sorry for the late entry tonight! It's been insane. I got an email from the people that run 18 in '08 and they told me that they want the date to be October 29th, a week later than what I'd planned (and have already set up).
My issue with this is that I've emailed...what, four people?...telling them the official date that I finally set at the school. Now I'm gonna have to go back to everyone and be like, "Oops, sorry, the date I gave you is wrong." It effing sucks and is really embarassing for me to have to go change something I was sure of. And the worst thing is that I contacted the damn 18 in '08 people TWO MONTHS AGO, telling them I wanted to do one of these screenings, and they were like, "Okay, pick a date." So I picked one, and now they need to change it. *headdesk*
I'm gonna just chill and watch Chef Ramsey now. <3 TOMORROW'S FRIDAY, FUCK YES!
Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*
