You Have Ridiculously High Expectations of Your Cooking Utensils
Hello people!

I have mixed feelings about today. Some things were good, but other things sucked hard like Stephen sucks Jon a black hole sucks in everything. I'm not gonna go into everything that bummed me out, cuz it's little details adding up to a big annoyance, and really, most of them are unimportant.

Photo was okay. If there were pictures that weren't done the day before, the teach will finish 'em up for us and then put them out on her table for us to pick up. Well, that Obama/Biden car pic I took wasn't finished when I left, so I went to the table to get my pic this morning; it wasn't there. I started freaking out cuz it was my fave pic, so I asked Mrs. Owens (teach, of course) if I could check the dark room.

I did and I checked the dryer, which, well, dries the pics, lol, and it wasn't there. When I went back to my seat, I was so upset. I almost started crying. I know that sounds stupid, but it was my fave pic and a ton of my other pics didn't even come out, so I was really proud of the Obama/Biden one. So, I sat for ten, fifteen minutes, then asked if I could check the dark room again, and Owens said yeah.

I looked all around the room and saw the back of the dryer. And there sat my pic, stuck into the back slot of it. I was SO glad I found it, but I felt kinda silly about being so upset when it was really right there. *shakes head* Stupid me. Moving on...math. I'm skipping math, lol, nothing happened.

In AP Gov., we talked about the school and equality of opportunity and how students are really commodities in today's world. It was fun! And then we did current events, so I talked about this stupid story that was on the news last night about a 16-year-old girl who hooked up with a 50-year-old man (I think he was 50...around there) through playing the PlayStation3 online, and he took her to a park and raped her.

He was caught, but ya know, I have little sympathy for the girl and her family. If the parents had been monitoring what their kid did (ya know, like responsible parents do), or their kid had KNOWN better than to try to meet someone through online gaming, it wouldn't have happened in the first place. I have no pity. I sound cold, lol.

Um, then, in forensics, we had a sub, so we watched an ep of Forensic Files! :D I've seen a couple parts of the ep we watched, but not the entire thing, so it was cool to get the whole story. And I had to help with the DVD player cuz, apparently, it was much too hard for the (fairly young) sub to figure out. *rolls eyes*

MindCandy was really fun! Choir had a pizza party today, but they ordered a few too many pizzas, so one of the girls in our class, who has choir right before MindCandy, brought in one of the extra pizzas and we got to eat it! :D And then another classmate offered to buy us all brownies (cuz it's brownie day; on Friday, all the "mentally challenged" kids make brownies and sell 'em...I call them Retard Brownies...hehe!)! It was great, lol.

And we basically had a free period. I also got to talk to Mr. Vazquez, who is the guy that booked the auditorium for me for 18 in '08. I wanted to tell him about the possible date change, and he was very calm and cool about it and I'm feeling a bit better about this whole date change thing. So, then, mom picked me up and I had to go with her to an appointment. She did get me some chicken fingers, though, and they were delicious.

We stopped at the store after mom's appointment and I convinced her to get these awesome Starbucks ice cream bars that I've never seen before. They were Frappucino bars and they were Mocha flavored (like those bottled drinks they sell) and MMM they're SO good! :D I love them! I did have to unload the dishwasher when I got home, but that's okay, I guess. I got it done fast.

There's this really stupid meme that a couple flisters of mine did. It's kinda hard to describe the rules, so here they are: 1. There are 30 questions. 2. Next to each number, write only the name of the person who fits. 3. Answer one question with one name. 4. Don't tell the questions to anyone who isn't doing the meme.

So, the people that did this meme on my flist answered me for question #5. I found out today, that question #5 is, "who seems like a chatterbox." I gotta admit, I'm kinda offended. Is it cuz I post daily? Or, what? It...I dunno, it seems mean to call me a chatterbox. Am I just being stupid? I don't think I am, but whatevs.

Oh! The title of this post is just something totally random. I said it to mom when I was putting some of the dishes away. She's got this...ceramic...vase-like thing that holds all of her spoons and spatulas and tongs and whisks and whatnot. They barely fit. As I was putting things away, I said, "Mom! You've got to clear some of these out, you don't use all of them!" I really honestly don't know how I got from there to tonight's title, lol, but I did somehow...and I think it's kinda funny, out of context.

Monk and Psych are on tonight, and I'm gonna play Tomb Raider with Nick. And tomorrow, mom and I are going to this show thing for her work, but it's at this cooly outdoor mall kinda place with a really great bookstore! So I'm excited for that. AND, we're gonna stay overnight (cuz it's about an hour-two hours away), and we're gonna go to The Cheesecake Factory and see a movie! YAYZ! XD

Also, celli_puzzle posted the next part of 30 Little Things, which has me so happy, you have no idea. <3

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

EDIT: With regard to the "chatterbox" thing: am I the only person that thought chatterbox was a negative thing? I just thought...I dunno, every time I've ever heard it used, it's been a negative application of the word. Apparently, I was wrong, lol! :] My 'pologies. <3

Living in the Age of Colbertius[info]colbertobsessed on September 5th, 2008 11:19 pm (UTC)
Yeah, they're pretty cooly.

XD I'm a tad less politically correct.
Kate(lyn)[info]ishy_squishy on September 6th, 2008 12:00 am (UTC)
has anyone called in a current event yet? or texted someone else from the class to figure out why they weren't there?

yeah, i personally liked our name, lol...first semester last year i walked past their table every day before 5th period, so i would buy two on my way to class, lol
Living in the Age of Colbertius[info]colbertobsessed on September 6th, 2008 12:05 am (UTC)
Not yet, but I'm sure it'll happen soon! I made a video for one last week cuz we had the student meeting then, but I didn't get to send it soon enough, so it's not usable now. *sad-face* I'm sure I'll do it again at some point.

LOL! Before this year, I'd never had one of their brownies. They're pretty good!
Kate(lyn)[info]ishy_squishy on September 6th, 2008 12:09 am (UTC)
yeah, it was great the one time i called mine in...because i didn't have the school's phone number, but i did have the cell phone number of one of the kids in the class (i was going on a college visit that day), so i called him, and he picked up, and i'm sure Messick was like "wth?", but then i gave her my current event, answered her questions, because it pertained to the chapter, and i'm sure the class found it strange, lol

yeah, i used to get them occasionally my sophmore and junior years, but it was pretty much weekly for most of my senior year (because on French Food Fridays my class would send someone on a brownie run, lol)...but yeah, they are good
The Quintessance of Arabella[info]17_ally_17 on September 5th, 2008 11:13 pm (UTC)
It's school. School is just depressing, it's getting me all depressed-like too, so yeah ..
Living in the Age of Colbertius[info]colbertobsessed on September 5th, 2008 11:19 pm (UTC)
Totally. It really is.
The Quintessance of Arabella[info]17_ally_17 on September 5th, 2008 11:25 pm (UTC)
I have't figured out why yet. It's just.. depressing for everyne involved.
jessica[info]st_secular on September 5th, 2008 11:32 pm (UTC)
In no way did I mean 'a chatterbox' in an offensive term. You just seem like someone who could carry a conversation and not run out of things to say easy. :)
Living in the Age of Colbertius[info]colbertobsessed on September 5th, 2008 11:37 pm (UTC)
:} Thanks. I guess it's just me - anytime I've heard the word "chatterbox" it was always meant derogatorily. Sorry. And thanks again, lol.
Mrs. Carell-Colbert-Stewart: Stephen 2[info]shoebox_addict on September 5th, 2008 11:32 pm (UTC)
Whew! Glad your picture was all right!

Holy crap...that story about the girl on the Playstation. Honestly, where the hell are the parents in those situations?!?!

Lol! Don't be so sensitive! I think you are a bit of a chatterbox but in a good way! I love seeing your posts on my flist every day! :D

Oh, sigh...enjoy Monk. *sniffle* Wish I could!
Living in the Age of Colbertius[info]colbertobsessed on September 5th, 2008 11:40 pm (UTC)
Thanks, me too! XD

OMG, I know, seriously, lol! Stories like that really bug me.

Aww, thanks! Dang, I guess it's just me. X} Am I really the only person that thought being called a chatterbox is a negative thing? I figured that was the common denotation...*shrugs* Thanks again! <3

Awwwww! If I could somehow send it to you, I would, lol. I'm sorry!
Mrs. Carell-Colbert-Stewart: Colbert/Stewart[info]shoebox_addict on September 5th, 2008 11:54 pm (UTC)
You're welcome!!

Yeah, they always bother me. Oy.

You're welcome! Nah, I don't see it as bad. You've got a lot to say!

Lol, that's okay!
The Indestructible Clairmanda[info]zeitgeist_10 on September 6th, 2008 01:52 am (UTC)
About the girl that got raped- I really don't have any sympathy either, so you're not the only one. Like, I don't trust anyone from the internet unless I've been talking to them for a LONG time and I'm absolutely sure they're not a creepy-stalker-man. Like, only if I've seen pictures, and blogs, and Facebooks, and talked to them on AIM and then maybe i'll give them my phone number. MAYBE. After a long time. And even then I wouldn't meet them in a PARK. Alone. Lol. It's common sense. /soapbox rant

Anyway, hahaha when I was in high school, instead of Forensics, we had Criminal Justice... which was basically Forensics. We did fingerprinting and blood spatter and crime scenes and such. Instead of Forensic Files though, we watched A TON of CSI. Lol. CSI's not even real but our teacher was a retired cop and he didn't care. XD
Living in the Age of Colbertius[info]colbertobsessed on September 6th, 2008 02:11 am (UTC)
YAY! Totally, it's not that hard to be smart about being online. Yeah, exactly!

:D Guh, I *hate* CSI. But I LOVE Forensic Files, lol. X]
Parisology: the language of politics.[info]celli_puzzle on September 6th, 2008 03:07 am (UTC)
And I thought I was the only heartless person who didn't give a shit about those stupid girls. Seriously. How retarded could you get? Maybe she should've worn a shirt that said "Please! Rape me!" I mean....*headdesk* *facepalm* *various other mentally harmful banging activities*

*....smirk, because of course that sounds dirty*

AND YES I posted part 9!!!! WB is gone!!!
Living in the Age of Colbertius[info]colbertobsessed on September 6th, 2008 03:23 am (UTC)
LAWLZ! You're definitely not alone. HAHA, FOR SERIOUS. XD

Ahaha, of course. ;] Everything you say (and anyone says, really) can be taken in pervertiness.

HELL TO THE YEAH! I'm reading it right now. I LOVES IT! <3
Parisology: the language of politics.[info]celli_puzzle on September 6th, 2008 03:50 am (UTC)
Seriously. I wrote a letter to Seventeen when the published a similar story but they didn't print it, lol. Don't worry, I didn't use any swear words like...say...um....she's a fucking retard.

Oh, you didn't read it yet? Well....enjoys XD
Living in the Age of Colbertius[info]colbertobsessed on September 6th, 2008 04:00 am (UTC)
OMG, I've done that, too. And everytime I do, I never get a reply or see them printed. GRR, lol. HAHA, if only you COULD use swear words in a letter to them. X]

XD I'm in the process. I've been distracted by teh rents and Psych and "Twister" and other stuffs, lol. But I'm getting there. And damn, are YOU getting a long comment in reply to it, LOL! ;D
Parisology: the language of politics.[info]celli_puzzle on September 6th, 2008 04:05 am (UTC)
i know! Couldn't they even tell us anything? Yeah. It would be funny.

Thats really all right, take your time. It's long anyways.
Living in the Age of Colbertius[info]colbertobsessed on September 6th, 2008 04:28 am (UTC)
Seriously, I mean, come on, it's just common courtesy to at least tell us if it's not going in the magazine and react to it in some way, lol.

:D Thanks, lol. <3
Parisology: the language of politics.[info]celli_puzzle on September 6th, 2008 04:51 am (UTC)
I mean, I got an automated email, but...the hell, right?

I mean, I surprised myself with the...length...of the chapter.
Living in the Age of Colbertius[info]colbertobsessed on September 6th, 2008 04:54 am (UTC)
Yeah, really. *nods*

Haha. Huge length, huh? Girth, too? ;]
Parisology: the language of politics.[info]celli_puzzle on September 6th, 2008 05:00 am (UTC)
Yeah, there are some pretty thick....chunksoftext.
Living in the Age of Colbertius[info]colbertobsessed on September 6th, 2008 05:05 am (UTC)
And some very arousing...situations.

...this quickly went from innuendo to truth, LOL.
Parisology: the language of politics.[info]celli_puzzle on September 6th, 2008 05:49 am (UTC)
Lol, yeah, but innuendo = truth, haha :D

We stopped at the store after mom's appointment and I convinced her to get these awesome Starbucks ice cream bars that I've never seen before. They were Frappucino bars and they were Mocha flavored (like those bottled drinks they sell) and MMM they're SO good! :D I love them! I did have to unload the dishwasher when I got home, but that's okay, I guess. I got it done fast.

I love them too!!!

@that girl... Wtf was she thinking? What the hell else would some 50 year old guy want to meet up with a 15 year old girl for? She can't possibly be that naive... Did she not know he was that old? Did she think he was some 16 year old guy who liked Heloo Kitty and Hanna Montana as well? Seriously, that is f'ed... She probably agreed to it all and once her parents found out she was a slut who has a 50 year old boyfriend, cried rape because she was embarrassed to admit it...

I've only met two people from online, One happened to live near me and we played CS for years before we met and didn't know we lived 5 miles away. We met up at a lan party, and then hit up some bars and went golfing and shit... But he was a guy and I felt pretty safe he didn't want to rape me...

The other, we met up at an Animation convention. We knew each other for a while as well, and it was in a public, professional type environment.

Other wise, I haven't met up with anyone else. Only one other person had ever really crossed my mind to meet up with, and she killed herself... sO that meetup isn't going to happen...

Living in the Age of Colbertius[info]colbertobsessed on September 6th, 2008 05:22 am (UTC)
:D They're SO good!

Yeah, she was REALLY stupid to do that. I'm fairly certain she knew he was 50-ish. HAHA. XD

That's cool. AHAHAHA, yeah, I think you were safe. ;]

Ooh, cool! Yeah, knowing each other for a long time is the way to go, obviously.

Awww, I'm sorry! I've never met an online person in RL, but I totally would. There are so many people I'm really close to online and I trust most, if not all of them, lol.
Edgar Allen[info]edgarallen on September 6th, 2008 07:39 am (UTC)
Yeah, he probably was wearing a t-shirt that said "I won't rape you" and on the back. "srsly..."

I trust most of my flist... Not to sure about that Ally girl though... wanting to be a Minster and all, she might be into that molestation of boys thing... I've got to keep me eyes peeled around her... :scared: lol

Most of my flist are foreign... So I guess, if I went to their country, I'd be more afraid they'd hold me for ransom, or send me off to a chop shop to part me out for organs or something. Not that the organs will be worth anything... I already need a new kidney...
I don't think they could get anything for me on the sex trade either... :/ I am worthless.... lol

Living in the Age of Colbertius[info]colbertobsessed on September 6th, 2008 11:37 am (UTC)
LMFAO! XD

AHAHAHA. ;]

:O Creepeh, lol. I've got a few foreigners on my flist, but I think a lotta them are USA-ers. LAWLZ! XD
Edgar Allen[info]edgarallen on September 6th, 2008 05:15 am (UTC)
About the chatterbox thing... I would have been a bit offended as well... The only time I've heard the word used was to describe someone who wouldn't shut up...

Living in the Age of Colbertius[info]colbertobsessed on September 6th, 2008 05:23 am (UTC)
Glad I'm not the only one - I was kinda getting paranoid, lol. Yeah, that's how I've heard it used, too. I guess there's multiple connotations. *shrugs*
Edgar Allen[info]edgarallen on September 6th, 2008 07:42 am (UTC)
Attack of another weird paranoid meme... lol

Which reminds me... The last time that meme went through the flist, someone posted an Anti-Paranoia meme, where you posted your name and they'd say something nice about you... I wanted to do the Anti-Anti-Paranoia meme, where you post your name and I say something rude and mean and then you can be paranoid trying to figure out if I was telling the truth or not. lol
Living in the Age of Colbertius[info]colbertobsessed on September 6th, 2008 11:38 am (UTC)
Aww, that's terrible, Rob-bear! LOL, I would hate that. XD
