It May Not Be a Young, Sexy Plum...
Hello people!

To quote the ever-sophisticated Garfield, "I hate Mondays." They almost always seem to be a bit suckier than any other day, don't they? I was so tired when I got up this morning; the Emmys made me hyper. X]

Photo was okay, we didn't really do much. Ahh! But a fellow classmate *STOLE* one of my candy bars and I had to replace it with a dollar myself. That really annoyed me. In math, we had a quiz that I totally forgot we had, but luckily, I'm fairly certain I got 100% on it. It was pretty easy. In AP Gov., we talked about the American revolution. We even watched School House Rock, which I love.

I gotta say, I really hate that we're taught the incorrect stuff from the beginning. Ya know, Chris Columbus was a hero, we were patriots to break away from Britain, etc. Why are we taught utter lies? I mean, I understand the "harsh truth" might be a little rough, but we're not talking fucking blood and gore here, we're talking a dumbass who landed on what he thought was India. We're talking whiners who didn't wanna be taxed. I mean, come on.

Okay...forensics! We worked on more forgery stuff. Kinda dull and monotonous. MindCandy was fun. We handed in the imitation poems we had to do this weekend (based on Langston Hughes poems, one of them being Dream Deferred). Annoying Kid begged to read both of his to the class cuz he really wants attention. The rest of the period, we tried taping our commercial, but we kept cracking and laughing. X]

I almost sold all my candy bars today. I've got four left. *shrugs* I'll sell 'em tomorrow. We got our interims today. My grades aren't too bad. Photo=A+, Math=C, AP Gov.=D (which I already knew about), Forensics=A, MindCandy=S (which, I'm fairly sure is at least an A-). Gov is actually a C now cuz I turned in an assignment today. And Math will be up by the end of the week cuz I just handed in some homework and that quiz we took today will prolly help. *shrugs* But I'm sure mom will see the downside to it and not understand. Ya know, the norm.

Um...oh, so mom and dad are working late today so I had to bum a ride off my friend, Chris. I always feel guilty asking him for a ride cuz I'm just like, "Can I have a ride home?" and I never pay for gas or ANYTHING and yeah, I feel guilty. But anywho, I got home at about 1:20 and chilled for a while.

Holy fuck, I'm so sick of mom yelling at me. She does it at the drop of a fucking hat! She and dad were sposed to be working til 7:30, right? And when I came home, there was a bunch of dishes to do. But I figured, they're gonna be gone for hours, I'll just do it at 5:00 whilst watching the news. Well, SURPRISE! Mom came home for 20 minutes cuz of time fuck-ups and I got yelled at. Meanwhile, Nick hadn't done his fucking chore, but she said nothing to him. AND, he went straight to his room, watched TV, then took a nap!

I hate how unfairly they treat me compared to Nick. If they're gonna fucking yell at me, they should yell at him, too! I don't care if they've given up on him actually doing something with himself, I should not be getting all of their pent-up anger. I'm fucking done with that shit. Oh, and after mom left, dad called me and reprimanded me (I assume mother called him from the car and whined to him). So I hung up on him and threw my phone at the closet to...calm myself down, I spose.

He didn't call back, which I assume means he's given up on talking to me right now. I'd just hang up on him again, anyway. It's not something I usually do, but I'm really pissed off at the moment. And my phone's absolutely fine. I swear, the thing is indestructable. I've thrown it at my closet twice before and it never breaks or anything. So weird. Don't think me the violent type now, lol, I just got really angry when I threw my phone.

Moving on...I did the dishes when mom left and then took a shower and brooded (brode? how does one make "brood" past tense?). I watched the news and decided to watch Cash Cab even though mom and dad aren't home. Normally, I wouldn't, but I know they would watch it without me if I wasn't home and they were. *shrugs*

There's this AMAHZING site where you can make your own TV add for cheap-ish and get it put on TV in your local area! How awesome is that?! I think it's pretty cool. So go there and look into it, we should all have a voice and what better way to do it than making your own ad?! <3 Oh! Title of this post is from Jon and Stephen's presentation at the Emmys last night.

Oh, if you watched the Emmys (or the Carol Burnett Show), you know of the ear-pulling thing. Mom told me that it was a thing Carol did as a shout-out to her fave professor or some such. That's cool, but the ear-pulling thing should be something different. And so shall it be: next time you want to subtley flip someone off (teacher, parent, etc.), tug your ear a little. That's officially what that means now. ;]

Awwww! Stephen fans, have you read this yet? Cuz it's adorable. Gah. Um...oh! Heroes premieres on NBC tonight at 9:00. Two and a Half Men premieres on CBS, also at 9:00. Worst Week Ever SERIES premiere is on CBS at 9:30. And, of course, Prison Break is on at 9:00 on FOX. So, yeah, the DVR's working overtime tonight. We will be watching Prison Break tonight, so please no spoilers on Heroes! :]

That's about it, I guess.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

I once threw a remote control at the TV because my dad was being an ass during House and wouldn't shut up. XD

I had such issues getting to bed after the Emmys last night. I swear I was squeeing in my sleep. :D

Someone STOLE one of your candy bars!? How dare they? I'd bitch slap them so hard they'd be seeing stars forever.

AP Gov.=D

haha! That's clever. Good that's it's a C now though. And the rest of your grades are pretty good.

That commercial thing is super cool! I...don't know why I really have any need to make a commercial though. Humf.

xx_azuresky_xx posted that on her LJ. I thought it was SO super cute! I was disappointed that Jon wasn't at the after party but that's probably why Stephen was cozying up to Jason. Bad call not attending Jonathan! I loved all the pictures of Stephen with Kanye West though. I have yet to figure out why he was even there.

YAY SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK. <3
Marx Marvelous: Starbuck WTF[info]pushingarock on September 23rd, 2008 03:33 am (UTC)
Dude... I once split the handset of an old cord phone in half by hanging up on someone so violently. Of course, that was back in the day when I broke guitars, punched holes in walls, and set things on fire when I was pissed off, but still....

And let's not forget the Cristobal Colon wanted to sail to the new world so he could convert the heathens before the rapture. Glory of Spain my sweet ass.

I've got a hypothesis. You're the oldest child, right? I'm gonna bet that your folks yell at you more because you're "supposed to set the example" for your brother. Not that that helps. Yelling people suck.
Living in the Age of Colbertius[info]colbertobsessed on September 23rd, 2008 03:36 am (UTC)
HAHA! That's AWESOME! XD

LAWLZ. *shakes head*

;] Pretty much, yeah. Well, yeah, mostly. They want me to succeed cuz they didn't really succeed in what they wanted and Nick is just an utter failure at everything, so they've given up hope on him and want ME to be the one to achieve all this shit. If it was up to mom, I'd be going to an ivy league school, which I refuse to do.

Yelling people TOTALLY suck. <333

OMG BABY

I didn't get much farther than we're talking a dumbass who landed on what he thought was India. We're talking whiners who didn't wanna be taxed. I mean, come on. because... just OMG, you totally had me LFMAO XD

We're talking about the same topic in our English class right now and that was just what I was thinking, but you can't say it aloud, because my teacher is a friggin' America-fan, lol

I love you so much for that XD And of course I love you anyway <333333333333

BEST WIFEY EVER!

School House Rock pwns life.

ROFL...oh, the lies. This is why I love History and want to make it my minor, it cracks me up!!

Sorry about the parents again. -hugs-

I am sooo busy getting caught up with No Fact Zone stuff! LOLZ. Thanks for posting that link! :)
Living in the Age of Colbertius[info]colbertobsessed on September 24th, 2008 01:09 am (UTC)
FOR SERIOUS.

AHAHAHA. XD It frightens me. If we lie about basic facts in history, who knows what we'll lie about next?

Thanks. *hugs*

Hehe! No probs! <3
Mrs. Carell-Colbert-Stewart: Stephen[info]shoebox_addict on September 24th, 2008 01:22 am (UTC)
Hahaha.

I know, seriously. God, so much scares me these days. It's just easier to be cynical.

You're welcome. :)
Living in the Age of Colbertius[info]colbertobsessed on September 24th, 2008 01:27 am (UTC)
So true. Hence my ultra-cynicism.
Mrs. Carell-Colbert-Stewart: Stephen[info]shoebox_addict on September 24th, 2008 01:35 am (UTC)
Hahaha. Yea, I'm gettin' there too. It's sad that we have to just be like that but I'd rather let things roll off me with a sarcastic comment than be so scared all the time.
Living in the Age of Colbertius[info]colbertobsessed on September 24th, 2008 01:40 am (UTC)
Couldn't agree more.
Mrs. Carell-Colbert-Stewart: Stephen[info]shoebox_addict on September 24th, 2008 01:49 am (UTC)
So glad I'm not alone in that.

You and me hun, are in the same boat with grades and parents man. I think it's cause we're now supposed to be "responsible adults".

Ah.. my eye is burning for some odd reason... ow... mother fudge!
Living in the Age of Colbertius[info]colbertobsessed on October 3rd, 2008 01:24 am (UTC)
LOL. Suckishness.

Aww, I'm sorry!
The Quintessance of Arabella[info]17_ally_17 on October 3rd, 2008 01:27 am (UTC)
MHMS!

My glasses are in the way of actually being able to properly cure burning eye instantly, and so then the tears comes, and then the makeup runs down the face. Not pleasant XD
