Hello people!
Gah, I'm having trouble focusing...
Um, oh, I had a dream last night that involved challenges, riddles, water, video-game-esque environments, video-game-esque characters and my parents. It was really weird and kinda scary but I found myself laughing towards the end of the dream cuz I was having fun. I remember trying to get mom to help me solve the third riddle (there were four) before the next challenge...
And there was some guy dressed as a Joker (no, not THE Joker, A Joker, like the ones you see in a fresh deck of cards) who kept distracting my mom and trying to keep me from solving the riddles. *shrugs* And mom, dad and I climbed into this half-seat thing (it looked like this: C) that rocked back and forth and shot bursts of water from each end, where two strangers also sat.
It was insane...um, I woke up at about 9:30 today. I grabbed a Klondike bar for breakfast cuz I felt kinda shitty and teh rents were mad at me when I went to bed last night, so I needed something to cheer me up. I called mom, but she was in an appointment, so I left a message apologizing for last night. I watched Divorce Court and did the dishes, then mom called me.
She said everything was fine and not to worry about it and asked if I could pack some stuff from the linen closet. I said of course, no probs, and got to it. I turned on Judge Karen and turned it up so I could hear it whilst working in the hallway. Dad came home at 11:30 with groceries and in a very good mood. He apologized to me for being mean yesterday and I forgave him.
He started packing stuff in the foyer. I made myself some pizza rolls for lunch and had those while I watched Full House. I started feeling really bad, cramp-wise, and laid down for a while. I played a little Splinter Cell and watched TV til Mom came home around 3:00.Teh rents were around for a while til they decided to go look at a car that's for sale - they wanna buy one before we move.
Dad's gonna get rid of the car he has now cuz it's old, and mom's not gonna have her work car for a few days, so we could use another car, hence our buying a new (used) one. They haven't found anything yet, though, so, yeah, still looking. Turns out, we gotta save cash for carpeting the floors of our NY house. Um, I read my book a little (title of this post, hellooooooooo) and watched the news and now I'm kinda just hanging out, being bored.
I'm not gonna be doing a whole lot tonight. I wrote a bit today, so that was nice. Maybe I'll do some more of that, lol.
