It's From Meme-y, DUH

Hello people!

Snurtched from (and recieved topics from)

Wincest
I never imagined I would ship for two brothers to fuck each other. But I have this thing about really close male relationships (House/Wilson, Stephen Colbert/Jon Stewart, etc.) where I *really* wanna see two guys that are unbelievably close...well, get together and do stuff. I dunno why, I just do, lol. So, Sam and Dean (on Supernatural) are, like, an awesome pair, in my mind, cuz they're so frakkishly close.

Proper Grammar
I grew up writing and being told to "look it up" if I didn't know what a word meant. My mom is a total grammar/spelling Nazi, hence my being one. I hate it - hate it - when people use improper grammar (ex: "where you at?") or improper spelling (ex: "there," when it should be "their," and yes, I see that from fellow high school students).

Frasier
In my opinion, Frasier is one of the best shows ever made. It's sophisticated humor. You don't see that much anymore, unfortunately. You could hate and love Frasier at the same time; his pompous attitude made you wanna slap him, but his kind-hearted-ness (buried deep, but it was there) made you wanna huggle him. And Niles and Daphne and Martin and Roz were all great characters. I loved this show so much that I cried when we watched the series finale. Really hard.

Ancient Egypt
I've always had a fascination with Ancient Egypt. Most especially, religion, government, and daily life during that time. One of my tattoos is an Ankh (the symbol of life) with the Eye of Ra (their main God) in the center. Their multitude of Gods intrigues me and, if you've ever watched a documentary or read a historical book on the subject, their government was very interesting, what with scandals and crazy Pharaohs. Even the music is great. I think it'd be great to have lived during that time.

Kitchen Nightmares
For those of you that don't know (cuz as far as I know, it wasn't all that popular), "Kitchen Nightmares" is a show that was on FOX this past season, prior to the strike, I think, hosted by Chef Gordon Ramsay. Chef would go around to all these different restaurants that were doing really shitty and needed help. Chef would try their food, tell them it was bad, try to help, someone would get mad at him, he'd talk to them, then fix everything and, in the end, everything would work out. It was redundant and repetitive, but I loved it. I guess I just can't get enough of Chef Ramsay. Incase you wanna catch the show, it's been renewed and will be on Wednesdays at 8 or 9:00. Check your local listings. X]

Stephen Colbert
I've been thinking about why I like Stephen so much lately. I've settled on 'he's pretty much perfect.' True, he's Catholic, and I'm Atheist, but other than that, he's exactly what I want in a guy; he's funny, smart, sweet, nerdy/dorky/geeky (but in the best way ever), interested in politics/religion, makes up words, has multiple guy-best-friends, dresses fantastically, is unbelievably cute...he is perfect. I want my future boyfriend/husband to have as many of the qualities I just described as possible, lol.

Forensic Files
This is a show on CourtTV (now TruTV) about true-crime murders where forensic evidence/specialists were involved. I've always loved true-crime murders, though I really dunno why (maybe it's the writer in me?). I've also always loved forensics, so this show was one of my favorites, for a time; it got to a point where I kept forgetting that it was on, and by the time I remembered, it was either too late to catch the show, or it was really late at night, and the music/narrator were creepy enough to scare me when i was alone and in the dark, lol. Now I have no idea when it's on. *shrugs*

Added topics from [info]mgbutterfly:

Midnight Run
This is definitely one of my favorite movies of all time. It stars Robert De Niro and Charles Grodin and is about a bounty hunter (De Niro) who's hired to bring a white-collar criminal (Grodin) back to a bailbondsman (sp?). The so-called "midnight run" turns cooky and is unbelievably hilarious. De Niro's character (and his mob boss counterpart as well as another bounty hunter) says "fuck" all the time. In fact, and I've counted, the word is uttered exactly 138 times in the entire movie. Surrsly, you should watch it if you haven't seen it yet. It's beyond funny.

 Psych
A show on USA that's run for two years now, this stars James Roday (who you may know from The Dukes of Hazard movie) and Dule Hill (who you may know from Holes [he's the black guy]). James' character, Shawn, is a fake psychic. The best in the business! His dad was a hard-ass cop who trained Shawn to be highly observant of his surroundings. Gus (Dule Hill) is Shawn's best friend since childhood and tries to be the logical one in the partnership. Lassiter and Jules make up the cop duo that typically works alongside Shawn and Gus, and the four altogether are a hilarious quad. WATCH THIS SHOW. On USA at 9:00 PM starting July 19th (I think?).

Tattoos
To be totally honest, I used to despise tattoos. I was afraid of them, they grossed me out, I never wanted one, FOR YEARS. Up until about...three years ago, when my dad got his first tattoo. I went with him and watched the whole time. It didn't seem that bad. Then I started watching Miami Ink with my parents. I guess I was de-sensitized to the idea and now I absolutely *love* tattoos. There are so many I wanna get, and it's crazy addicting. I've gotten two thus far and am getting another later on this year.

Shakespeare
In my opinion, William Shakespeare is the best writer that ever lived. He was far ahead of his time. He wrote every genre worth reading, invented words, created some of the greatest plots ever put onto paper, and is my inspiration. If I could travel back in time to meet someone, it would be him.

(forensics was asked, too, but I kinda addressed it in forensic files, so yeah, lol)

I too, can't help but love Wincest. Somehow male/male incest is just so much less creepy than male/female. But even that, in the fictional world, is fine by me so long as it's consensual. Because love is love and art is art and love in art is beautiful if it's done right!

I would like to participate in the meme so gimme some interests!

LOL! I agree. Just, Sam/Dean stuff is great...you can feel how much they love each other, and that's what makes it okay, hehe! ;]

Thanks for the vid! <3

Okay, here ya go: Jurassic Park, wildlife, photography, rocky horror, gay love, Dr. Alan Grant, Frank/Dwayne (can it be that you ship Frank/Dwayne from Little Miss Sunshine TOO?!).

LOL! Totally. Plus, I think Jensen and Jared *try* to squeeze in inappropriate moments just to drive us crazy. He mentioned Wincest at one of the conventions they do all the time and said that he was amused by and enjoyed the idea. XD
