Hello people!
Kay, pardon the language, but holy shit, I had somewhere close to the best dream ever last night.
I was in school (for a place I hate, I seem to spend a lot of my dream time there).
I was in history class, and guess who was my teacher? Stephen *fucking* Colbert. And he was dressed in a suit and he looked like he was about to go on his show (which I have no idea how he taught and had his show at the same time…but somehow, he did).
We were doing this packet and Stephen was being that teacher everyone loves cuz they’re so funny and awesome and don’t assign homework. So everyone was having a great time, even though they were all working.
At the end of class, Stephen collected the packets. But, he said, “Instead of collecting them by name, I’ll collect them by your ethnic background.” People started laughing and Stephen stifled his own laughter as he walked up to a student next to me and asked what ethnic background they were.
He didn’t keep it up and collected everyone’s packets willy-nilly. We all crowded around the door and a friend of mine, also named Steven (but yes, with the “v”) walked down the hall and said hi to me as I stood in the doorway.
Then someone behind me told me to take a step back so I’m still in the classroom (apparently, my foot was in the hallway). Then Stephen stepped through the sea of kids and past me, smiling at me as he walked down the hall.
I was all smirky when I headed to either German or math, I’m still not sure. But the hallway was almost completely empty. I was the last person to enter the German/math classroom, but the teacher didn’t say anything. He was, also, a very cool, laid-back teacher.
We answered some questions of his (that had nothing to do with German or math…) and then, somehow, everyone was gone except me and Adam, another friend of mine.
And then Adam and I spent a rather long time in the classroom just talking and laughing. It’s really hard for me to make conversation with Adam, usually, I think mostly cuz I suck at making any conversation with guys, but it was super easy in my dream.
Then I woke up. Which saddens me, LOL.
