You Put the Bread IN the Toaster, Then It Becomes Toast!
Hello people!

I was up a little late last night and Nick came downstairs to hang out with me (I was watching TV). We talked for, like, an hour. It was amazing. Sometimes, I'm so impressed with the person that Nick is. The older he gets, the cooler he seems. It was great. <3 :]

I was woken up at 9:00 this morning. I got online for a moment and then got ready to go with mom to her 11:00 appointment. We left at 10:00 and got there at 10:40, and the lady who scheduled the appointment called to say she'd be twenty minutes late. We passed a Starbucks down the streets from the lady's house, so we went back there. I got a caramel macchiato, which tasted terrible.

It wasn't nearly sweet enough. I asked for another shot of caramel syrup, then added two packets of sugar and sprinkled some chocolate powder in. Unfortunately, the lid on the chocolate powder container fell right off and into my coffee. Awesome. I scooped it out with a couple of those super-long stirrers. After that fiasco, I finally got to drink my coffee and it turned out pretty delicious! :D

Mom and I chilled for about half an hour and just chatted and whatnot. Twas quite fun! Then we went to mom's appointment. Unfortunately, it lasted about two hours (they're usually only one hour). I fell asleep for an hour-ish; that was nice. And a TON of great songs were played on the radio today, so YAY! We finally went to Olive Garden for a late lunch around 2:00. I got the ushe and had my cake to go.

It was delicious, of course. We passed a Barnes&Noble on the way to OG, so we decided to go there for a bit. I got Paper Towns (the John Green book I have yet to read); the reason I waited so long was cuz I prefer books in paperback. Plus, they're much cheaper that way. I also got a notebook from the line and style that I love so much (the ones made by Savannah College) on sale at half price! <333

We wanted to stop at the bank so I could deposit my check, but it closed at noon, so alas. I could not. Anywho, there was a Christmas Tree Shop in the mall where the book store was actually located. Mom loves that store, hence, we went there next. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a pretty shitty one with nothing mom wanted. We left for home at about 4:45 and got there at, like, 5:30.

When we got home, we kinda just chilled. I got my shirts from BustedTees in the mail today, but I realized when I opened the package that I stupidly ordered sizes that were too small. *facepalm* SO, I'm exchanging them for the right sizes and the new ones should arrive in a couple days. Seriously, if there's anything I can say about BustedTees, it's that their delivery is insanely speedy. It's incredible!

My order shipped two days ago and it was here today. How epic is that? Just saying. Moving on. Now, teh rents and I are watching Hell's Kitchen. Somehow, it's making me hungry. Jeezus, I STUFFED myself at Olive Garden, how can I be hungry? My body is stupid. X] I'm gonna practice some bellydancing tonight and I'm hoping to go to bed around midnight. I'm freaking exhuasted. *shakes head*

Title of this post is from iCarly. Tomorrow's the premiere of Dexter. I'm staying home to watch it. X] My parents are THE. BEST. EDIT: Oh, I forgot to mention. When mom and I were in Starbucks, she told me that she wouldn't care if I dated a 40 year old man once I'm out of high school. I am pleased.

Lookin' a Little Nervous There, Ramen Noodle
Hello people!

Gah, this is so late! I've been out with mom and just got home! :O

I had a dream last night, but I only remember that it had Niles and CC (The Nanny) having an insult showdown. I was woken up at 9:00-ish. Mom was still home, but dad and Nick had already left for New York. Mom was running late and just asked me to help her get ready, so I did. Mom left and I went down to the basement (moohaha) and packed my boxes.

Mom came home around 12:30 cuz her appointments ended early. We chilled together for a while til we decided to go see a movie. Unfortunately, nothing all that great was playing, so we went to see Night at the Museum 2 again. I was hesitant cuz it wasn't, like, blow-your-mind-away fantastic, but I was wrong. It was more hilarious than I remembered, lol. Title of this post is from it.

I went with mom to her last appointments of the day; 5:00 and 7:00. I pretty much just chilled and listened to music. Oh, I was sposed to go to the movies with Brian tomorrow, but it turns out mom's idiot boss scheduled a meeting then, so I can't go til Saturday. Grawr. But I texted him and he's fine with it and we chatted for a while, which was fun. I miss him and the rest of the MindCandy crew.

That's pretty much it. We're gonna go to Olive Garden tomorrow! :D I have a ton of chores to do, though. Gross. Okay, have a video:

I think he looks better sans beard.

To Synopsize, Sir, You're a Doody-Head
Hello people!

Being home alone really loses its luster when there's nothing to do besides watch TV.

I had a dream that Jen was hanging out with me. Dad was the only other person home, and we were all playing with Celtic together. Then we were suddenly outside in this industrial park type of setting...there were pieces of metal and clouds of smoke everywhere. We all laid down on the ground, dad on the left, Jen on the right, and watched a movie with the kitten. Then I woke up.

I wound up getting up at 11:30 today, even though I should've gotten up at 7:00. My alarm went off, I just didn't get up to it. I immediately fed the poor kitten and let the animals out, then I took a shower. I made myself a delicious turkey sandwich and watched The Nanny all day. Teh rents called aroun 3:00 and told me they were at this awesome book store and wish I was there.

I wish they would stop saying that, lol, it's making me so bummed out. I love watching Tha Nanny, ya know, but it gets a little boring after a while. Mehhh. I came back out to feed the kitten at 5:30 and found that she had crapped all over herself, again. So, I gave her another bath, cleaned out her tent-like cage, and let her run around a little bit. I tried to feed her, but she wouldn't eat. *shrugs*

Oh, I didn't mention it yesterday, but Celtic did that to herself yesterday, too, (crapped on herself). Hence, I'm kinda annoyed right now. I made myself mexican chicken for dinner, and it was pretty good, though nowhere near as good as fresh chicken. I wonder how long I have til the last breast expires... I'm so sorry this is late, I got distracted with the kitten and Jeopardy!.

Um, yeah, that's pretty much it. I'll prolly be making ANOTHER icon post tonight. Sorry I keep spamming you guys with The Nanny, lol, I just have nothing else to do. And I kinda have nothing else to say. What a disappointing entry this is. Sigh. Oh, here's something cool: I'm helping a friend on Twitter run his Tumblr! He invited me to be his partner. Check it out, if you've got time.

Here, have a video.

I Wouldn't Mind Eating Stephen Colbert's Face
Hello people!

I'm having trouble stopping myself from reading FML posts, lol. They're so amusing! XD

I slept terribly last night. I think I was awake more than I was asleep. It sucked. In myth, we talked about the Lotus Eaters and Polyphemus, both of which I knew about already, but I had nothing else to do so I listened. It was dull. We went over the homework in math class, then got the test back that we took last week. Guess what? I got a 96! :D AND, it was the highest grade in the class! <333

I was so excited about it, lol, I was probably a little too happy in class, but whatever. It brought my grade up from a 67 to a 77! :D YAY! In AP Gov., we worked a teeny bit on our projects and then played Outburst!, which I've never played before. Holy moo, it was so much fun! I wanna get that game and play with teh rents. The girls lost to the boys, but we still had a great time.

We did random, pointless worksheets in AmLit. It was sooooooooo boring. Blah. Remember when we made those mixed CDs for MindCandy? Well, we listened to one of them today in class. There's a few guys whose CDs have, like, ten of their fifteen songs that are ridiculously long (like eight or ten minutes). I fear that if they're all that long, we won't get through everyone's CDs.

Anywho, the one we listened to today wasn't very good, imo. It just wasn't my kinda music. Halfway through class, Mr. Cecil stopped by to say hello! :D He had the most gorgeous blue shirt on today; it was, like, stunningly blue, lol. I announced to the class that Stephen's birthday is tomorrow and someone suggested I bring in a cake with Stephen's face on it.

Brian said that he'd be fine with eating Stephen's face. Cecil didn't catch the beginning of the conversation and was like, "...what?" so we explained it to him and then he said, "Yeah, I think of the faces you could get on a cake, I really wouldn't mind eating Stephen Colbert's face." X] Love him. SO MUCH, lol. How is he so awesome? I will never know.

ANYWHO, I wanted to get my Senior t-shirt today, but they're being sold outside of school cuz they're "underground" versions (they say, "The Pride's Inside!" [school motto] then, "That's what she said!"), and the only way I could get one was to find someone in the parking lot. Our parking lot is HUGE and I didn't know where to go so I just gave up. I'm gonna try again tomorrow.

Mom picked me up and took me home and I went to my room to write. I was determined to finish my story for MindCandy. I did! And I love it! I think it came out pretty good, considering I squished it into the last month of school, lol. I think I'll post it here a little later, if you guys are interested in reading it. If not, ya know, that's cool and whatnot. But feel free. To, ya know. Read it. XD

Um, mom left for an appointment and I've been watching John Green on BlogTV, chatting with Kurt Ludlow (fave news anchor <3) a bit, and reading FMLs all afternoon. OH MY GOD, FML is just too hysterical. I love it so much, lol. I also found out on John Green's broadcast that I'm not the only one missing pages in Looking for Alaska. I wonder how that even happened?

Moving on. I'm so afraid the [info]tds_rps FanFic Awards are gonna fail cuz STILL, no one is nominating anything. :( So please go nominate fics! Also, the Sanyo Xacti Camera contest ends this coming MondayPLEASE VOTE FOR ME! <333 You guys helped me move up the ranks thus far, but please keep voting! We need the money to buy our house when we move! /guilt-trip. ;]

I Would Like to ASS You a Few Questions
Hello people!

Um, so, I finished Looking for Alaska today, but whilst reading the last few pages, I noticed that one scene seems to jump right into another scene without any explanation or continuation of the first scene. I checked the pages and realized that my copy of the book is missing pages 213 and 214. So I am quite literally missing a chunk of the book.

I thought it was odd that this one part was hyped up a bit only to be completely skipped over. SO I'M ASKING YOU, mighty flist, if any of you has a copy of LoA, could you please, please scan the missing pages and send them to me/link me to them? I'm so desperate to read what I'm lacking; I feel like I haven't truly read the book yet.

So, yeah, any and all help is appreciated. <3

You May Be Beautiful, But I'm Not Above Punching You
Hello people!

What a great day today was! :D

It was so effing hard to get up today. Shockingly, painfully hard. Guh. We ran out of time in class for me to talk to Shoemaker about my grade (he keeps running us down to the last minute), so I'm gonna try on Monday. I'm really worried about my grades...ANYWHO. In math, we did some notes and stuff and then we got a test back. Guess what? I failed it. I FAILED the test. :'(

I got a 55/100 and I'm really upset about it and, frankly, I'm shocked that I got that bad of a grade. I honestly didn't think I did that poorly on that test (it was from a while ago). And I definitely don't need an F to add to my overall class grade of a D. *sigh* Moving on, moving on. We did current events in AP Gov. today. Henry went to see Wolverine's midnight premiere last night, so he was hyper.

And he went around clutching pens and pencils between his fingers and pretending he was Wolverine, saying (repeatedly), "I'm Wolverine! I'll murder you!" It was pretty hilarious, actually, lol. X] In AmLit, we had a reading quiz on Huck Finn, which I wound up not listening to on audiobook. I went to SparkNotes last minute last night and read over the chaps we had to read and guess what?

I knew, like, 9/10 of the answers on the quiz! YAY SPARKNOTES! :D Then we had free time, so I read Looking for Alaska (from now on, LoA) the rest of the time. Guys. Holy fucking shit, guys. That book. John Green is fucking amazing. There's a part in the book that's really sad (I won't spoil it) and I literally cried for, like, ten pages. And then, after a little break, I cried again. I officially love that book.

(Oh, I didn't cry in school, that was saved for when I was in the car, lol). Um, oh! Cecil was subbing for Robbins in MindCandy today! :D It was so great to see him again! <333 He cut his hair, though, and it was slightly shorter than it should've been, but he was still adorable. X} Haha, I totally lost my train of thought. *facepalm* Um...uh...well, we didn't really do anything, just chilled and such.

Mom picked me up early and we talked about moving and what few things we're gonna miss (like Kroger, The Greene, NewGrounds Cafe, etc.). Then we went to my hair appointment and DUDES, I love my haircut! :D Check it out:

It's so Damn Fine To Be Alive... )

SQUEE! And oh, man, it feels so good to have it so short! It's not tickling my neck or bugging me anymore! YAYAYAY! Ahem. After that, mom took me to Panera and we got coffees and chatted. Then she had to stop at her office and make some copies and send some faxes (LIKE A BOSS) and then she had a 3:00 appointment. I read more of LoA in the car and it was amazing. <3

Once mom was done with her appointment (around 4:30), we went to Olive Garden for dinner! It was delicious, as usual, and we GOT the usual, lol, including dessert and coffee! :D Oh, I made some jokingly jerkish comment to mom and she said that *points to title*. XD Teehee! And then we finally went home (making it back just in time for Jeopardy!). WHOOT.

AND, I got my last order from Etsy in the mail today: one of the bitchinest things I've ever seen! I'm actually wearing it in my "After" haircut pictures up there ^^^; it's a button made from my Twitter background! As in, I HAVE MINI PICS OF STEPHEN COLBERT ON A CUTE LITTLE BUTTON. <3 I'm so ecstatic, lol! Here, have another couple of pictures, won't you?

The Pink Samurai says... )

It's a little hard to see the Stephen Colbert pics from the pictures I took, but it's a little easier to see in person, lol. :] Um, so let's see. Now we're watching WifeSwap and taping Prison Break to watch later. Oh, hey, so...I've talked to mom and we believe it'd be best for everyone if we postponed the NYC trip til we live closer. We could kinda use the money for moving and stuff, so I'm fine with that.

I honestly am cool with it, it'll be a lot easier to go once we live only an hour away in a couple months, ya know? So it's all good. THAT MEANS, though, that I have tickets to The Daily Show for Tuesday, June 9th, and I'd like to give you guys first dibs before I post them as available on [info]tds_tcr_standby. So if anyone wants 'em, COMMENT BELOW.

Also, if someone's been through this before, how does one get one's tickets? Like, do they hold them for you at the studio or do they mail them to you or email them to you or wut-the-wut? Any and all info=helpful! XD

I Was Playing My Theme Song
Hello people!

Okay, so, let's see...I know I dreamt last night but I have no idea what about. I actually slept pretty well, thankfully. I don't appear to have missed a whole lot in myth, though I found out today that I have a D in that class and I have no idea why. Usually, I have at least some clue as to why my grades are bad, but this time...I don't know. I've participated and done all the work. :(

I'm gonna talk to Mr. Shoemaker about it tomorrow. I hope there's some error cuz if not, WOW, that sucks. Anywho, in math, we had a quiz (*groan*) but I didn't have to take it. I did, however, miss, like FOUR assignments. I did three and a half tonight, lol, I'll do the rest tomorrow. We also had a test in AP Gov., which I also didn't have to take. Messick's gonna let me take it tomorrow.

The best part, though? The test is only 20 questions long! :DDD They're usually 60, lol. I got to read a lot of Looking for Alaska today, which is always great. X] Loving that book more and more with every page. In AmLit, we did a worksheet. Boring. I didn't miss anything, either, lol. So yay. We did a big fat nothing in MindCandy, of course. XD Although, apparently, our stories are due.

I mentioned those, but just a refresher: Robbins gave us the start to a story and we had to finish it. Well, he also would give us sentences along the way that HAD to be in our stories. So, I got this awesome idea for mine and it's gonna take a lot before it's done, but Robbins told the class ON MONDAY that they were due. I don't think he realizes that he never actually told us that BEFORE Monday.

So, in other words, only about two people are done with their stories, lol. But whatevski, I asked him about it and he told me to just get it to him when I could. <333 We pretty much just chatted and stuff throughout the period, and at one point it got kinda awkwardly quiet, and Brian started singing this random song, and Anna was like, "What are you doing?" and he said that *points to title*. XD

WIN. I want my own theme song, lol. So, then, guess what? The fucking fire alarm went off. And it wasn't a planned test; some douche pulled the fire alarm and we had to go stand outside in the slightly-muddy grass and wait for the FIREMEN to clear the area for safety. It sucked, we were outside in the semi-cold for half an hour! And an actual rap-battle broke out.

Guys, lol, my school is so stupid. The rap-battle was VERY short and really only one kid actually rapped, but it was hysterical; EVERYONE was gathering around (even though only, like, twelve people could actually hear the raps). I recorded ten seconds of the crowd before we were let back into the school. I'll have to try to upload it to YouTube (it might be the wrong format).

Anywho, um, we got back in at 12:24 which is when I get picked up, so I left. But classes were pushed back cuz of the fire drill, so the rest of the class had to wait another twenty minutes til they could go to lunch. :} Dad picked me up and took me to Burger King for lunch. Then we had to go to Kroger to get tissues, then Wal*Mart for groceries. I got some gum, so yay!

Then we came home and I did my math homework. That took three hours, guys. THREE HOURS, and I didn't even do it all! >:( Stupid math (no, it's not stupid me, it's all plugging numbers into the calculater, it's just a LOT of numbers and such). Aaaaaand that's about it. OMG, I forgot! In MindCandy, I whispered to this other girl that John Green was really cute.

See, she asked me about John Green, so I told her a bit about him, including that he was cute, lol. And then Brian was like, "DON'T WHISPER!" (jokingly, of course), so I said, "Okay, John Green is really cute, there, are you glad I'm not whispering anymore?" and I smiled, and then Robbins was like, "He's sooooooooooo cute." XD He was obviously joking and OMG it was hilarious. <333

Okay, I'm done, lol.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

P.S. I'm still going on my NYC trip. <3

Writer's Block: LiveJournal Book Club
Hello people (Dirkenschnoff)!

Out of all of your favorite books, pick just one you'd recommend everyone read. As a bonus: why did you pick that one?

View 505 Answers

Oh, god, lol. Well, the obvious one would be Jurassic Park. But since it's so obvious (FUCKING READ IT), I'll pick something else: An Abundance of Katherines (which shall heretofor be known as AAOK).

I'm not one for Teen Lit. Never have been. Most of the time, it's so stereotypically, "OMG, Frank likes me? OMG OMG!" But I recently became a Nerdfighter (aka a fan of John and Hank Green's Vlogbrothers series on YouTube), so I figured I should check out at least one of John's books. I went to a Barnes&Noble and the only John Green they had was AAOK.

So I bought it and started reading it in the car. It was amazing. Sure, the main character had a love interest, but she had just dumped him, and there was no way she was getting back together with him. It was so different from any other Teen Lit I've ever thought to peruse amidst the isles of Barnes&Noble. It was smart (I'm talking child prodigy smart) and hilarious and pretty damn relatable while being totally unrelatable at the same time.

It's so fantastic that I have a lot of trouble putting into words how wonderful it really is. Let's put it this way: I'm a ridiculously slow reader. Molasses is faster than me. But I finished this book in a week (which is fast for me). So, yeah. GO READ IT. Ahem (I also recommend Looking for Alaska, John's first book which I'm currently reading and LOVING).

If I'm Lucky, Mr. Talent Will Rub His Tentacles On My Art
Hello people!

Guh. I'm sick. *cough cough*

So, I went to see Fame at school last night. It was AWESOME. And a few of the actors were ridiculously cute, hehe. X] It was fun. When mom and dad picked me up and took me home, I started coughing really bad. Then my throat started hurting. And alas, I realized I caught mom's sickness. :( It was inevitable, really, especially since I was hanging around mom on Thursday.

Supposedly, this only lasts a few days, so I should be fine by Monday. Anywho, moving on, I woke up at 4:30-ish this morning and had to go take some sick pills, lol. Then I played about a half hour of Splinter Cell. I started getting sleepy again, so I went back to bed. I slept til 11:30 and got up to go say hi to mom and dad. Mom gave me medicine and a glass of orange juice and I went back to my room.

I pretty much have been sleeping on and off all day. It's nice to sleep so much but it sucks that I feel so shitty. BLAH. iCarly and Spongebob have been on all day (hence the title, it's from an ep of Spongebob). YAY TV! I wish I had more to say, but there really isn't anything else. Um, so, I thought this vid by nerimon was pretty entertaining.

And then we have John Green doing a super awesome question Saturday! XD

Now that I've sufficiently spammed you with amusing videos, time for more sleep.

I Want to See You Naked...That Sounds Weird
Hello people!

Let's kick off with a psychotic dream I had last night. Nick and I were in this hospital/clinic area of a huge warehouse-type-place. I don’t know why or exactly how the building looked, but we lived there in some other part of the place. Anywho, Nick and I were looking for someone…or something…in the clinic area. We split up and I went into this one clinic room where I found a bald little kid.

They looked about ten or twelve years old and had a hospital gown on. I was gonna ask her/him (?) where my parents were. Apparently, we were looking for them…I guess. There was this HUGE window on the opposite wall of where I was standing that looked out into the hallway and front lobby of the building. I had a big space-like laser gun and my camcorder.

I looked out the window and saw mom carrying a somewhat mutilated corpse. Suddenly, I was gunless. I freaked out but I started recording and got mom on video carrying the dead body. Mom saw me and panicked. She tossed the body down and called for dad. Then I called for Nick and he came in the room. I showed him the video and we knew we had to get away from mom and dad before they got to us.

More happened having to do with being chased and crying, I think, but I don’t remember it. And then, Nick and I got outside and there was a truck and police officers and a SWAT team waiting outside. Teh rents stopped dead in their tracks. They realized they were gonna be arrested, but they wanted to say goodbye to me and Nick, so we walked back inside the warehouse, where we had a bunk-bed (it was actually my old bed, which had this really awesome metal ladder on the back of it).

I didn’t trust mom and dad at all, but Nick did. I quickly got up to the top bed. Nick was there already, but he leaned over the edge to say goodbye to mom and dad. Mom was saying stuff like, “Take care of each other,” and other motherly advice. Then teh rents looked at each other weird, and I knew something bad was gonna happen. They whipped out handguns and shot at us and just as I was about to be killed by my own parents, I woke up. It was horrifying. :’( Yeah, definitely did not enjoy it.

Um, so, I woke up at 10:30 this morning and got right online. I watched an ep of TDS/TCR and an ep of iCarly and then dad got home. Nick and I had to do some chores. I vacuumed, did the dishes and cleaned the bathroom. I actually finished pretty quickly and watched another ep of TDS/TCR. Mom came home shortly after that and she, dad and I decided to go for a drive in mom's convertible.

It was about 65, 70 degrees out today, so it was nice enough to have the top down. We drove way out to this tiny town that had a totally kick-ass coffee place with AMAZING coffee. It was so good, lol. And then we went to Arby's and got a ton of food and just chilled and talked and laughed and it was great. Then we went home. The driving took a long time, lol, it was about two and a half hours one way.

We blasted music the whole time and it was pretty fun, but I wish we could've gone to some stores, too. *shrugs* Oh, well. So, that's about it, now we're home. :] I'm gonna set up the webcam mom and dad got me for Christmas and I think I'm gonna try to do a live show on BlogTV, although it occurs to me that I really have nothing much to say and I don't have a talent to offer up for entertainment.

What should I do if I were to host a live show on BlogTV, guys? Any suggestions? Title of this post is from a video from nerimon on YouTube. OMG he's hilarious, have you guys heard of him? You should check out his vids. John and Hank Green are fans of his and he even came up with the Nerdfighter cheer, which is shouting, "BE DOO DOO DOO!" in a really high-pitched voice. XDDD

That's about it, everyone.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

P.S. I think this line from Jimmy Buffet's song, "Changes in Lattitude, Changes in Attitude," fits all of us really well: "if we weren't all crazy, we'd all go insane." I love it. <3

Hello people!

Ya know that crazy story John told us? Well, here it is on his blog, probably in more detail. Hope that helps if you were confused by my explanation!

If You Lose Your Thumb, They Replace It With Your Big Toe
Hello people!

I woke up late to my alarm this morning. I still felt like shit today.

Myth is still incredibly boring. Blahblahblah. In math, we went over the homework, which no one understood. He even said, "Maybe my giving you that assignment without instruction was a bad idea." I wanted to say, "Gee, YA THINK?!?!" Obviously, I didn't, but still. He's such an idiot, sometimes. That homework isn't due til tomorrow now. *facepalm* But all the answers are in the back of the book, so, I'm done, lol.

We didn't have our test today in AP Gov. cuz we hadn't finished going over the chapter, so we did that today. Kinda. We only got a little bit done, but I don't think Messick's willing to push the test back any further than she already has. BUT, that means the homework I didn't do yesterday isn't due til tomorrow and a friend lent me hers to copy (we all copied off each other cuz it's a huge assignment). <3

In AmLit, we read a bunch of short stories which I finished in class, even though it was homework. I also read about forty pages in AAOK today, and I've only got, like, ten pages left! I really love it, I wanna get Paper Towns or Looking for Alaska ASAP. Robbins was back in MindCandy with a hair-do like none before; it looked like a Jerri Curl, to be quite honest, and it was kinda repulsive, LOL.

But at least he's back. It was nice to hear his voice. And Dewey has jury duty for the next two weeks! :DDD I wish Cecil was subbing for her, how AMAZERING would THAT be?! Beyond description, that's how. But, we have some lady I've never seen before subbing. She's nice, though, so it's okay, lol. I read more AAOK in class cuz we had no assignment. It is AWESOME.

Oh, the title of this post is something Kat (classmate) told us because Shampel (*glare*) started talking about some guy he knew who cut up his hand with some kind of wood-working machine. I'm leaving out details cuz it was gross, but he didn't spare us cuz he's just nice like that (*haaaaaaaaaate*). I swear to god, I want nothing more than to strangle that stupid, disgusting man. I hate him so much.

Ahem. Anywho, dad picked me up and took me to get coffee from Speedway. It was delicious and hot. An aside: it was FREEZING today. To the point that it fucking snowed. I know at least half of you got snow, too. This is fucking ridiculous, guys. UGH. So, after the coffee, dad and I were gonna drop Tyrone off at that computer guy's shop. Once we got there, I started crying again. *shakes head*

I almost started crying on the bus this morning, then again in math class. *sigh* Well, as it turns out, the guy wasn't even THERE today. He also didn't answer his phone yesterday, so now I'm concerned that maybe his business went under, since it was small and dinky and I honestly doubt he could've kept it going on his own...I hope I'm wrong, though, cuz I don't trust Geek Squad AT ALL.

I mean, I believe they're capable, but I've heard stories about them (from the local news) WAY overcharging or not entirely fixing the problem or keeping one's electronics for much longer than necessary. But if this guy's business is gone, then we don't really have a choice. We're also gonna buy an external hard drive. Dad has wanted one for a while, apparently, and my fuck-up has inspired him.

We went to Giant Eagle next. I convinced dad to get me this incredibly adorable little puppy keychain and OMG it's so cute. But I have to wait for Easter to actually "have" it, lol. After that, dad and I went home. I spent the afternoon listening to some music on this old computer (after downloading the CD I freaking uploaded a couple days ago) and being harassed by dad and Nick about the lameness of my music.

I really miss Tyrone already. Like, all my music is on him, and I don't have a stereo cuz I had him, ya know? So he's my only means of listening to music. And it really, really fucking sucks. And I hate this fucking computer. Hate it, hate it, hate it. It moves at the speed of a glacier and it barely loads photobucket and it keeps telling me I have mail EVEN THOUGH I DON'T. Burning. Fiery. HATRED.

Okay, I'm sorry, I'm done. The longer I'm conscious, the more I hate everything. Lots of good TV (Chuck, 24, Castle) with delicious men (Zachary Levi, Kiefer Sutherland, Carlos Bernard, Nathan Fillion) on tonight. Hopefully, that'll put me in a better mood.

EDIT: OH GUESS WHAT?!?! Kurt Ludlow (news anchor...remember?) posed a question on Twitter asking us who we were gonna root for tonight during the basketball game, and I replied with, "I'll be rooting against both teams as the game bumped one of my favorite shows. I hate basketball." AND IT GOT ON THE NEWS! :D

I think I explained this the first time this happened (yes, this is the second time! <333), but it was a while ago. Kurt poses a question on Twitter to everyone following him and he picks three responses he likes best and reads them/shows them on the news every night. That pretty much fixed my bad mood, lol. Let's hope it lasts!

Your Religious Commitment is an Inspiration to Us All
Hello people!

I'm writing this in the living room. *sigh* Hate this fucking computer.

Um. Okay, so, I had a dream about Sam and Dean and food but that's all I remember. I set my alarm for 8:30 cuz I wanted to get up today (I was gonna do last-minute homework). I ended up turning it off and going back to sleep, but I got up an hour later, which is still not bad, imo. So, I got up at 9:30 and got on my computer, of course. I came out to get some Sunny D (this will haunt me for the rest of my life).

I went back to my computer for another two hours. Around 11:00, John Green (on Twitter) announced that he was broadcasting live from an airport on BlogTV.com, so I clicked the link he posted and actually got to chat a little with him! :D I asked him if he knew of Bo Burnham or Toby Turner and if he liked them, and he said yes to Bo, but no to Toby, and that he thought Bo was pretty clever.

Then I asked if he ever read Jurassic Park, and he said yes, he read a ton of Crichton when he was in college (SQUEE!). The last question I asked was how long it took for his first book to get published. He said it took him five years to write it originally, then six months to edit it for his publisher, then another two years to edit it over and over again until it was completely ready to be published.

At about 11:30, I went to take a drink of Sunny D and accidentally knocked my glass over and SPILLED ORANGE JUICE ALL OVER TYRONE. It went under the keys and through this little port hole thingy in the front of Tyrone and he froze. I immediately started to clean him up, obviously, frenzied and out of my mind, and then I tried to turn him off. For the first time ever, he would not turn off.

I took his battery out and unplugged him and finished cleaning him off. Then I tried turning him back on again (plugged him back in) and it was a no-go. Big surprise. I took him out to the living room and informed teh rents of what happened, fighting back tears. We called the guy who fixed Tyrone the first time (I kept his card), but he didn't answer the phone (I would assume he's not open on Sundays).

An argument broke out between teh rents (dad was slightly insensitive about my problem just cuz he wasn't in a good mood at all this entire weekend) and dad left to the grocery store. Mom and I had an hour-long conversation about dad and my grades (which mom didn't freak about AT ALL! :D <333) and life and success and failure and saving my hard drive and all that stuffs.

Mom hugged me while I cried for a good ten minutes about Tyrone. I've cried multiple times since then and I'm still shaking. I feel nauseous and all I wanna do is sleep and sleep and sleep til everything's back to normal and Tyrone works again (which isn't likely, btw). Look, I realize I have probably an unhealthy attachment to my computer (for fuck's sake, I refer to it as a "he"), but my life is on Tyrone.

My stories (every fucking story I've worked on since I GOT Tyrone), my school work, my pictures of myself and my family and vacation AND Kiefer and Stephen and Jon and the like (endless folders full of pictures), my music and downloads and CD's that were ripped (Lonely Island and everything I uploaded yesterday), all my fucking videos (every. single. one.). I need a new computer, unfortunately.

Let's face it, though: Tyrone is three or four years old, which is pretty old for a laptop. He's my baby and I love him and I can't believe I killed him. I kinda hate myself for being so stupid. *sigh* Anyway, um, so, I spent the next hour or two reading An Abundance of Katherines (AAOK). It was nice to escape into someone else's hopeless moments and confusing life for a while. And I miss reading. <3

I talked mom into taking me out for food cuz it hurts to just be in the house. We went to Max and Erma's. I got tortilla soup (so delicious) and chicken fingers and a glass of Cherry Coke. It was really good and I felt okay for an hour or so. Then mom and I went home and I broke down in the car to the point of shaking again. I'm really not handling this well at all. And it's only gonna get worse.

I haven't gotten any homework done cuz I told mom and dad I didn't have any and it requires a computer to do it. But I don't care. If anyone asks tomorrow, I'm telling them what happened and how traumatizing it is/was and I doubt I'll be getting much sleep tonight. Mom wants me to take a pill. Title of this post is something Colin said to Hassan in AAOK. It was hilarious in context, as Colin was being sarcastic.

There's iced tea in the fridge and ice cream in the freezer. Time to drown myself in sugar.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

EDIT: I meant to say that I called Best Buy's Geek Squad and they said it's highly likely that they'll be able to save my hard drive, which means everything I listed above, lol. I sure as fuck hope so.
