None Shall Pass Before I Kick Your Ass
Hello people!

Oh, man, I slept so well last night. My room just made me really happy, lol. <3

I woke up at 8:45 this morning and went downstairs. I took a shower and was feeling kinda sick, so I asked teh rents if I could take a few hours to sleep and just relax a little. They said sure, so I did. I only got about an hour and a half of sleep, but I did get to chill, which was nice. I watched some WifeSwap and then Full House. Then I went downstairs and made myself an egg and sausage sandwich.

I did some dishes, then made the salad for dinner. My Busted Tees shirts came in the mail today! :D They're awesome and they fit and I'm stoked. AND, they accidentally sent me two of each shirt; one of each was female, size large and one of each was male, size medium. The male ones fit me better, so I'm gonna give away the female ones, but I seriously doubt people at school will want them, so...I dunno.

I would offer them to you guys but I can't afford to pay the shipping. *shrugs* Sorry! :( Anywho, Nick's friends, Colby and Hannah, stopped by and we all carved pumpkins together. I was totally unsure of what to do, until I went up to my room and looked around at my stuff...

I just needed a break... FROM WHAT? )

Whaddya think? :D I love it, I worked really hard on it. You can still see some pen-marks, unfortunately (I had to draw it on the pumpkin before carving it, of course), but it won't be as noticeable at night tomorrow when they do the jack-o-lantern count at the Pumpkin Fest. I said we're going to that, right? ...I think I did... Moving on, we all had spaghetti for dinner and now teh rents and I are watching TV.

We watched Bones, then The Middle, and now we're watching Glee. Title of this post is just a random joke from earlier. It's better out of context, lol. We gotta get up early tomorrow to get on the road, and I have no idea when we'll get back, so the blog's prolly gonna come kinda late, but I will have it up at some point. X]

It's Not Easy to Cut Through a Human Head With a Hacksaw
Hello people!

HAPPY BASTILLE DAY (OMG FTW)!!!

Nick and I stayed up til 1:00 last night; he beat MGS2, then played MGS3 and I watched. He only played about half an hour of MGS3, but it was interesting. I have to at least watch the last two games if I wanna get the story, so I'm gonna watch Nick play them. I know I had dreams last night, but I can't remember them. Gah. I got up at 10:30 today and watched Divorce Court.

I did the dishes then went back to the TV for a bit. THEN, Celtic had to be fed and played with, so I did that. Actually, this morning is kinda fuzzy...um, I had turkey, cheese and pickles for lunch. Mom asked me to pack up the armoire (sp?) before she headed out to her 2:00 appointment. I did so, then Nick and dad got home from the grocery store and I was distracted.

Dad got me coffee, then Nick asked if I wanted to watch him play MGS3, which I did. That didn't last long, though, cuz I really had to finish the armoire, so Nick went to his room, dad went to the basement, and I went to the living room. I watched TV while packing, so that was fun. Oh, Nick showed dad deviantART and talked him into creating account, which sent me into a bit of a panic.

As you guys know, I have some not-so-appropriate pics on there - at least, dad would completely judge me and prolly yell at me if he saw the pics I drew. So, I got everything off my old account (colbertobsessed) and created a new one (ClarisseRockford). I'm sure you're wondering why "Clarisse Rockford" - I made an entire fake identity a couple months ago.

It was gonna be for a character who I wanted to develop before developing the story I was gonna put her in, but I decided to use it online, too. If you liked my old deviantART, feel free to check out my new one. I'm still putting up my old drawings, they prolly won't be done til later tonight. Uh, that's about it. Title of this post is an original quote from Michael Crichton, lol. <333

And now, a kitten-spam (and look, that's Nick holding her! :D).

Meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow )

Oh, yeah, and this, which is incredibly hot, even if they didn't follow through with the kiss. ;]

They're not brothers in real life, but they play them on TV )

We Managed to Avoid Drowning!
Hello people!

Whoa, I can't believe it's 6:30, I totally lost track of time today! :O

Um, oh, so, I had a dream last night where I went to dinner with my parents. I dunno why, but we took a limo there. We were gonna meet up with my (deceased) Grandpa D. and a friend of his. For some reason, I was hesitant to go inside, so I stayed in the limo for 58 minutes (yes, exactly 58 minutes). When Grandpa D. and his friend pulled up at about 10:00, I decided I'd stay.

I went inside, where teh rents were waiting, and we met up with Grandpa D. and his friend and all sat down at the counter (like a bar, sans alcohol, lol). Apparently, teh rents and I had already eaten dinner, so Grandpa D. and his bud bought us ice cream instead. It was GOOD. Then mom and dad and I were suddenly in a GameStop and I found a Solid Snake action figure.

I grabbed a ton of others – Psycho Mantis, Revolver Ocelot, etc. – and intended to buy them with my own money. Then I found little mini!board-games, which I used to get for holidays all the time. They're adorable!  There was one that said Jeopardy on the front, but the contents included little chess pieces and a chess board, so I put it back. I think other stuff happened, but that's all I remember.

I woke up at 10:30-ish and spent the next half hour on my computer. The day kinda switched off between lazing around and working. I did the dishes and made myself a sandwich. Then I went to my room and played a little MGS2. Nick joined me a bit later and we played our saved game together. We brought some garbage and some crappy boxes outside to the curb and played with the kitten.

"The Lost World" was on after all that, so I watched the last hour of it. I just realized today that the movie is COMPLETELY different from the book. It's like they totally disregarded the book and just wrote a new story. It's actually incredibly lame and depressing, when I think about it. I've spent the past two hours reading "Jurassic Park," "The Lost World" and Michael Crichton trivia on IMDB.

Title of this post is from MGS2. Raiden says it to the Colonel after swimming through a certain area. It just seems hilarious to me, lol. OH! So, Nick stumbled across this broadcast online (on justin.tv, similar to blogtv) where this guy was playing MGS. He talked to the guy and did his Solid Snake impression, and the guy LOVED it. Now Nick sometimes joins in on the broadcast.

He does his Snake impression and joins the convos and such! Here's the thing: if the guy gets more viewers and subscribers and stuff, he's gonna start paying his partners (i.e., Nick). SOOOO, I'm spreading the word about the broadcast. It's on late at night, so if you stay up super late, check it out. Nick's not on every night, but still. If you like whatcha see, pass this link around, please! :]

I decided last night that I'd like to keep a blog that my parents can read while I'm at college, but I don't want it to be this one, for blatantly obvious reasons. I made a new one here on LJ - except it's not a separate account, it's a comm. That way, I don't have to log out every day just to log back in. If you wanna join, you can, but it's just gonna be a PG version of this blog, lol. --> [info]miradoxical.

Um, yeah. Oh, oh, I did two more drawings last night; Liquid/Meryl and Ocelot/Meryl. I don't like the second one very much - Meryl looks kinda off and Ocelot looks wayyyy too young, but oh well. I'm starting my birth control pills tonight. :} I'm kinda nervous; I hope I don't have any of the crappy side-effects, like nausea for the first 1-3 packs...The Next Food Network Star is on tonight! :D WHOOT!

They're Eyeglasses for an Eyeclops...Wait...
Hello people!

This is gonna take a while cuz...I'm finding it very difficult to remember what all happened this morning...

Um, mom got me up around 9:45 this morning and I went and took a shower. She told me that there were a few things I had to do while she was at an appointment; put the dishes away, feed baby Celtic, call some lady about our the house that we're looking at buying in New York, and...something else that I don't remember...I did all that and then watched a little Divorce Court.

I spent three hours last night and a couple hours today editing my tags so that they'd be more organized and awesome and I am SO HAPPY with them. <3 After that, I really wanted to have fun and chill out, so I decided to play some more Sphinx. That lasted a few hours til mom invited me to go with her to a few appointments so I could stop at a Half-Price Books.

I agreed and we went to mom's first appointment, which lasted about an hour. We went to the bookstore after that and I searched and searched for John Lange books but alas, there were none there. I found a super old copy of A Case of Need, printed under Crichton's actual name, rather than his pseudonym, which means it was a more recently-printed copy.

I didn't buy it cuz I wanted a shinier copy, but I also found a really nice edition of The Crucible, and it was only $1.00! :D Soooo, I bought it. It's awesome, though it has a *bit* of underlining from the previous owner in the very beginning, but meh, it's only in the character and landscape descriptions, so I don't really care. And then it started pouring down rain.

We had to run to the car through the literally pouring rain (it was INSANE) and when we finally got there, we were soaking wet. Our pants, our shirts, my bag, my stupid flip-flop-covered feet. Ridiculousness. We were hungry and stopped over at Dairy Queen, where I got chicken fingers, fries and a Snickers blizzard. Mom and I chilled in the parking lot and ate our dinner.

Mom had an appointment to go to, so we went there next. She was only half an hour there and I read a little bit of The Crucible while waiting. I also doodled the Simoleon symbol (from The Sims, of course) on my hand cuz I think it's awesome and I decided I want it as a tattoo later (much later, don't fret, lol). I showed the symbol to mom and asked her if she knew what it was.

She said the title of this post, which made me LMFAO SO HARD. *shakes head* We had to go to another appointment, but we were half an hour early. While waiting for the people to get home, we decided (i.e.: I convinced mom) to ditch the appointment and go home. X] We wrote a note and I taped it to the door and we left! We stopped at Starbucks for a coffee and then went home.

It was awesome and super fun. When we got home, we fed and held Celtic and then I went on a search for some John Lange books online. I found TWO: Scratch One and Easy Go (AKA The Last Tomb). :D Unfortunately, most of the others are ridiculously expensive (ranging from $40-$400 :O), so I guess that unless I find them in an old bookstore for cheap, I won't get them for a while...

Now we're watching Ellen and then I'm gonna play more Sphinx. YAY! FUN DAY FTW!

Everyone Look at Pictures of My Cat!
Hello people!

So. Tired. GUH.

Today is the first time this week that I slept past my alarm. I've been trying to get up so dad wouldn't have to come get me, but today, I just couldn't do it. I will be getting up tomorrow, though. LAST DAY FTW! :D Ahem. In myth, we watched more of The Odyssey. I planned on doing the math homework that's due tomorrow, but my mind didn't have the energy, lol.

Well, in a rare moment of awesomeness, Mr. Pagnanelli cancelled that assignment for us. We are DONE in math for the year, officially. <3 We took our notebook test today and there were only two answers I was unsure of, but I wasn't alone in that, so I didn't feel bad about it. I got to throw out all the stupid homeworks and tests and stuff I didn't need and it felt great.

In AP Gov., we presented our projects and, surprisingly, I wasn't as nervous as I usually am. I still had some breathing issues, but I wasn't stumbling over my words as much. So YAY! After that, we played Outburst! again. It was so much fun, I really love that game. I hadn't read the chaps of Huck Finn that we were sposed to and feared a quiz.

Thankfully, Ms. Jasper killed the quiz and we just had a free period! And we turned in Huck Finn, even though we didn't finish it. My definitive opinion of it? One of the worst books I've ever read. Blech. I spent the period reading The Lost World, which was much more entertaining, lol. In MindCandy, the magazines finally came in! So I bought my copy.

It's purty; it's an olive green and has these really cool funky old-school-esque designs on/in it. I also presented my final project to Mr. Robbins and he loved it. A lot, lol. He kept saying it was really great and I have a nice voice, etc., etc. It was kinda awkward for me; I'm not really good with compliments, I don't know what to say other than "thank you."

So I just kept saying, "thanks," lol. AND, I was able to give him my story, finally! I'm so excited to hand it in, I hope he likes it...I'd like him to read it and grade it tonight so I know his thoughts before leaving, lol. About half the class was gone today (though I dunno why) so we just chilled and read our books in silence. It was fun, though, I mean, I love reading. ;]

I went and bought my last chocolate ice cream of my high school career. It was delicious. They really have great ice cream at school. And the lunch lady noticed my haircut (even though I hardly ever see her) and said it was cute! :D I went and ate my ice cream outside whilst waiting for mom, who, unfortunately, was running a bit late.

But Mr. Cecil walked by, heading for the parking lot, and said hi to me. THEN, about twenty minutes later, he walked by again, this time going back into the building. I've noticed that he does that every day, so I asked him, "Do you go out to lunch or...where do you go?" Though it occurs to me now that that sounds kinda creepy...

Anywho, he told me that he goes and sits in his car during lunch and listens to music. Is that not the most adorable thing ever? I think it's so incredibly adorable, lol. <333 Then I told him we're having a party tomorrow in MindCandy and that he should totally stop by, and he said if he can get out of the class he's subbing for for a bit, he'd love to. YAY!

Mom arrived around one to pick me up and we had to go to the store. Since I hadn't eaten yet, she got me some popcorn chicken and french fries from Arby's. Meh, it was okay. I wanted a wrap, but apparently, those have been discontinued. *shakes head* We went to Wal*Mart next and I convinced mom to get me root beer to celebrate graduating, LOL.

Aaaand we got Oreo's for my friend, Sarah, cuz it's her birthday tomorrow! :D Lotsa shit going on tomorrow. Moving on, um, we went straight home after Wal*Mart and mom kinda yelled at me randomly in the car, so I was bummed when I got inside, but I'm better now. I had to do the dishes, but after that I went to my room and got online.

This awesome guy on Twitter who lives in Ohio found two of those rare Crichton books (and one not-so-rare [Case of Need]) and is sending them to me! <3 SO EXCITED about that! I'd like to bring that up again, if it's not too much a bother for you guys, lol, if you know some older book stores you wouldn't mind checking out for me, I'm looking for these books.

So, then, mom left for an appointment and dad and Nick came home. Dad recently replaced the screens on our windows cuz they had huge holes in them, so we had these tubes that held the screen material laying (lying?) around the living room. Nick and I decided to have a duel with those tubes. It was SO MUCH FUN, lol. And it lasted, like, an hour. XD

And now, here we are! :] Tomorrow's my ABSOLUTE LAST DAY of senior year, and Jen's stopping by! <3 Mom's bringing DQ Blizzards into MindCandy, we're having a party in almost all of my classes, and teh rents and I are gonna try to go see Angels&Demons in the afternoon. WHOOT! This weekend, mom and dad are flying out to New York to look at possible houses.

For when we move, of course. And Nick and I will have the house to ourselves til Tuesday night! Also: I have the greatest wife in existence. Look how awesome she is to me. I love her. <333 Also also: Bones and Hell's Kitchen season finales (sp?) tonight! I'm stoked and saddened at the same time, lol. Title of this post from this amazing video.

All I Have to Remember Is, I Can Always Get More Toast
Hello people!

So, you all know how head-over-heels over-the-moon shoot-myself-in-the-foot in love I am with Michael Crichton.

Well, I was looking up a book of his on Amazon and I found one that I'd never heard of or seen the cover of in the entire time I've been researching his works. I thought I'd investigate it and I came across another three books unknown to me. This piqued my interest. I thought I'd try to buy one of them, until I realized that the cheapest copy was $54.

I realized that that book, however, was under one of Crichton's pseudonyms, John Lange, which is probably why it's so rare. Well, now I have a mission. Perhaps for the duration of this year? Or maybe for the entire length of a year, from now til next May. However long it takes, I want to own every single work of fiction that Michael Crichton has ever written.

Everything he wrote and published under his actual name is easily accessible at any Barnes & Noble, but books under his pseudonyms are almost impossible to find. If we lived around a bunch of old-school book stores, it'd be a little easier. But we don't. There are hardly any book stores here at all.

So, I'd like to ask for your assistance, my amazing flist. Welcome to...

THE EPIC CRICHTON NOVEL SEARCH OF 2009!

I'd like to ask you guys, if you have the time/$$$, to help me on my quest for "John Lange" (i.e.: Michael Crichton)'s novels. This is a hunt, to take place all across the nation! I won't ask more than $10 of you guys, and I will reimburse every cent. But if you guys could help me out, you have no idea how much I'd love you for it, lol.

The books, the books, the books )

I deeply, deeply appreciate any and all help, you guys. This is so incredibly important to me, lol, I really want these books. Even if none of you can help, thanks for listening. :] <3

No Jokes, This Is Serious Chizz!
Hello people!

Sorry this is so late, we didn't get home til 6:30-ish.

I slept til 11:23 this morning. I had another epic dream last night and I, once again, don't remember anything from it. *headdesk* I heard dad and Nick bustling about outside my door and I got up and asked them what was going on. Dad was gonna take Nick to GameStop to trade in some games so Nick could get a game for his friend's birthday.

I had a few games that I never play that I contributed to the pile and then I went and watched That 70's Show on ABC Family. I basically chilled online til dad and Nick came home with three video games and some fast food for lunch. Mom arrived home a few minutes later and we all ate our lunch and then mom, dad and I got ready to head out for the book store.

First, we went to a Panera that's right next to the Barnes & Noble we were headed to. I got a coffee and a cheese danish and mom and dad got some bagels and bread. Then we went to the B&N and I got a new journal to use as a make-shift yearbook since we don't get ours until AUGUST (they're mailed to us) and I want people's emails and well-wishes and whatnot.

We went over to KAY Jewelers so mom could get new backs for her earrings (which she lost), and we wound up buying dad this huge diamond men's ring. *facepalm* I would just like to say that we just scrapped the NYC trip, partially to save money, and now we go and blow roughly $1000 on some stupid ring? I fucking hate jewelry. It's such a waste of money.

*sigh* Anywho, we had to go to Whole Foods next and we spent, like, ten minutes looking at cheeses for mom to get to make a sauce for her pasta. We left after the cheese and went to Giant Eagle for filet mignons (sp?) for tomorrow's dinner. I got some root beer and some gum and we picked up strawberries and chocolate for dessert tomorrow. <3

I got randomly depressed as we drove to Enrico's (a really awesome pizza place). Mom and dad went in without me, so I got The Lost World out of my bag (I'd brought it along) and started reading. I flipped to the very back and noticed that there was a gorgeous picture of Michael Crichton on the back cover (seriously, he looks surprisingly hot in the pic).

It made me cry. I can't believe he's actually gone. It's been months and I'm still not over it. *shakes head* Mom and dad came back faster than I thought they would and when they did so, they played a joke on me. I started crying again cuz I was in such a terrible mood and what they said just made it worse, and when they saw me crying, they told me they were just kidding.

I'm not gonna explain what exactly happened but it pissed me off; I'm really super gullible and believe pretty much anything anyone tells me, so people used to do shit like that to me all the time (where they trick me into believing something) and I HATE IT. I fucking hate it so fucking much. So I was ridiculously upset after that and I didn't really talk to mom or dad.

We went home and I got a piece of pizza and now I'm in my room. Mom and dad got me a meatball sub, but I feel nauseated at just the thought of eating it. I guess I'll just put it in the fridge for tomorrow. Teh rents are watching Supernatural without me cuz I've heard things about the ep and I'm putting it off. I don't wanna be upset by it when I already feel shitty.

I can't bring myself to watch TDS/TCR or The Fairly Oddparents movie I taped last weekend. I'm utterly not in the mood for either. I wanna play video games, but there's nothing to play. The only good thing at the moment is that we have ice cream in the freezer. I'm gonna go get some. And a new iCarly's on right now (title of this post is from an older iCarly ep). Yay.

Writer's Block: Untimely Passing
Hello people!

RIP John Lennon. The list of sudden and unexpected celebrity deaths is long—Princess Di, Heath Ledger, Kurt Cobain, Marilyn Monroe, and many more. Which one affected you the most on an emotional level?

Soooo many this past year. I think Bernie Mac. I wasn't, like, a hardcore fan of his. But I really did love his show (The Bernie Mac Show, lol) and used to watch it ALL THE TIME when I was younger. And he was so fantastic in the Oceans movies. He was a hilarious man, a very smart man, and a great actor, and he is definitely missed. <3

I do have to say another, though. Michael Crichton. He was my HERO (with regard to writing, of course). He was brilliant and amazing and always had controversial ideas for his books. He started conversations, he got criticism, but most importantly, he defended what he believed to be right (see: trial and State of Fear). He revolutionized writing and he passed far too soon. <3

We Are and Always Will Be the United States of America
Hello people!

I woke up this morning to a surreal feeling. It was amazing. Barack Obama is our president. I know everyone keeps saying that, but it's insane to think that I was here. I was watching. I saw it happen. And Jon Stewart told me. There is no way last night could've been any more fantastic.

I stayed up to watch Indecision08, of course, as well as McCain's concession speech. I wanted to watch Obama's speech, but it was nearing midnight already and I had to get to bed. I caught some highlights on the news, though, and I liked something he said a lot, so it's the title of tonight's post.

Anywho, I was feeling sickly this morning (coughing, stuffy/runny nose, and a sore throat), but mom and dad don't really want me to stay home anymore than I absolutely have to, so I went to school. Photo was a period to critique our assignment that we turned in last week. We had to capture light and sound in pictures. I think I did a good job. I was actually incredibly proud of those pics, but I got a 29/40 and that bummed me out. Oh, well.

I didn't really get critiqued, which, imo, is a good thing. I don't like being critiqued, lol. I'm very sensitive when it comes to my work. *shrugs* Moving on. A douchebag in that class said to me, "I bet you're really happy bout yesterday." And I nodded and smiled, but I didn't say anything, and she was like, "Yeah, well, I hope they do a recount and find a mistake and say that McCain actually won." I hate people at my school. For serious.

Math was boring. I was coughing and blowing my nose ALL through first period, so I texted mom to say I really wanted to go home and lay down. So she texted me back and said she'd come and get me. I was grateful, but worried about seeing mom, cuz she (and dad) make me feel like a terrible person for not wanting to be in school whilst sick. They don't like it when I miss school, so they get upset when I'm sick.

She seemed kinda annoyed, but I didn't let it get to me. We went to get some medicine cuz we didn't have any at home. When we got home, I had some tea and toast (and medicine, blech) and then I slept for three or so hours. Sleep is so good. I need more of it, lol. OH! This morning, before I left, mom dragged me into her room and told me to close my eyes and put my hands out. GUESS WHAT I GOT?!?! THIS FUCKING AWESOME SHIRT.

I squee'd and mom said she'd prolly get me another one cuz CC.com's shop was having a sale yesterday. WIN. I'm so stoked, I love my shirt. It made me happy, LOL. So, yeah, back to the timeline of today. I woke up at about 2:30, I think, and immediately got online. I was greeted with terrible, terrible news: Michael Crichton passed away today. I did post about it prior to this cuz I loved him and he needed his own post. Jen gave me great advice and I love her for it, and she's been through her own author!loss, so thanks, Jen. <333 It means a lot.

After that, I read celli's latest installment of 30 Little Things and that cheered me up a bit, lol. So thanks to celli, cuz I needed the happiness of a new installment. Oh, and guys? Watching TV without the bash ads? Prolly the best thing ever. I love not seeing commercials about dishonesty and hate. AND Bones is new tonight! :D YAY!

Do any of you watch 24? Cuz they totally predicted the presidential election. By the end of the first season, David Palmer, a black man, was elected President. Now, check it out: we've got our first black President. Now, 24 has a woman as President in the upcoming 24 Movie, which is later this month. Interesting, no? Maybe it's only interesting to me, lol. But hey, keep your eyes open in 2012 for women running for Prez. ;]

I think that's it. I still feel lousy but I'm excited for Jeopardy and Bones. <3 And I'll have to screencap/icon some Indecision stuff when I get the chance.

Hello people!

As I'd hope all of you know by now, Michael Crichton is, indeed, my favorite author. Jurassic Park was definitely the most wonderful, monumental novel I've ever read and it will stick with me forever.

Unfortunately, and thank you to fenellaevangela for letting me know (I'd rather hear it from a friend then an un-emotional prick on the news), Michael Crichton passed away today.

He was 66 and had cancer and apparently, it was rather unexpected. I must say, I cried when I found out. I always thought, ya know, he's still fairly young, maybe I can meet him someday, wouldn't that be amazing.

He was able to witness Obama's winning. Hopefully, it was a win for him, as well. I will always remember him and cherish the inspirational works of fiction (and non-fiction) that make you really think.

Michael Crichton, you will be missed. <3

You Should Crawl On the Ground Like the Snake You Are

Hello people!

Okay, so, I spent, like, all evening just chillin here and completely spaced on my post tonight, LOL. Hence the lateness. XD But yeah, at least I got my fic posted! WHOO!

FRIDAY. Like, yay. So, photo, we played a game called, "Survivor," where you write three things about yourself on a piece of paper and then you collect all the papers and pass the stack around for other people to read aloud. Here's the thing: the first one has to be general, but about you (I have brown hair), the second one has to be a bit more narrow, but still about you (I like to write), the last one has to be exclusive to you (I have a blog that I update daily, usually multiple times). It was cool!

Plus, I had a tank-top on today so everyone could see my tats, and the teacher was like, "Look at your tattoos, when did you get those?" I told her, and she said, "And your parents were okay with that?" and I said, "My parents talked me into it." and people laughed, cuz they always do, lol. That was fun.

Then, in math, we just reviewed basic properties (commutative, identity, etc.) from last year. That was dull as hell, dudes. Next, AP Gov. We discussed the reading from last night (I can't spell Montesque...but that was the reading). We had to give a summary and response of that, and seriously, my handwriting is somewhat big, but thin, and my paper was only a page long, with a couple spaces in-between.

You should have SEEN other people's papers! They had teeny writing and were, like, an entire, completely filled-in page. It was RIDICULOUS! I feel really stupid in that class. *sadface* Moving on. Forensics was okay. We just did notes today, but we discussed, ya know, evidence and stuff. That was cool. XD I can't wait til we actually do something, LOL! It shall be awesome.

MindCandy is a really fun class. I love it. We read some poetry today, but it wasn't overly dull, so that was good. And Mr. Robbins said that over the summer he read all of Michael Crichton's books!!! Since I pretty much LOVE Michael Crichton, I got really excited. We talked about books a bit and then we talked about The Dark Knight (have yet to see it!) and the let-down that were the Spiderman movies (especially the 3rd one) and we talked about religion. Mr. Robbins is reading "God Is Not Great" (I should check it out) and we talked about Atheism and religion in general. It was really calm and comfortable and I LOVED it.

I asked a friend for a ride to NewGrounds (the cafe down the street) after fifth period, and I waited outside, but it occured to me that he was probably eating lunch - I skipped lunch cuz I felt nauseous all day and didn't feel like eating. So I decided to walk to NewGrounds myself. It was fine. Kinda hot, but I was in a tank-top and shorts, so it was better than when I had jeans and a t-shirt on before.

I got a drink and read about 70 pages of my MGS book in the roughly two and a half hours that I was there. Nick came to the cafe with his friend once they got outta school and chatted for half an hour til dad picked us up. We stopped at the store then headed home and pretty much chilled. Cash Cab wasn't on tonight (nor will it be on for the next week! :O), so that depressed us. I think it threw off my night, lol.

Mom wanted to see Metal Gear Solid so I said I'd play it. So now I'm playing! :D And it's my fave game, so YAYZ! Unfortunately, I've been playing and I totally forgot to get the SOCOM in the beginning, which means I got the gun where I was sposed to get the Thermal Goggles, so now I don't have the goddamn Thermal Goggles, which I effing NEED. So, yeah, I'm a tad annoyed. Especially at myself for forgetting to get the gun. *curses self* The title of this post is from MGS; Vulcan Raven says it when he shoots a missile at Snake and Snake falls to the ground.

I'm quite pleased that I got to finish my Jon/Stephen story and post it. I'm really quite proud of it. Uh...that's about it, I guess. I gotta go with mom to Wag Fest tomorrow, which is a dog thingy. I really don't wanna go, but, ya know, I gotta help out mom. Plus, I enjoy helping her, even though I hate dogs, so, yeah. <3
