Life Is But a Walking Shadow
Hello people!

MOOHAHA I SKIPPED SCHOOL TODAY. <3 Also? It's Shakespeare's 445th birthday (hence the title)! WHOOT!

I had this crazy-ass dream that these three kids, all of various ages, had just lost their parents in some accident. This took place in the time period of, like, the Oregon Trail and shit. I dunno what time period that is, lol. Anywho, there was a brother, who was about 18, and two sisters, the eldest was 16 and the youngest was, like, 7 or so. The 7-year old was obviously distraught over her parents' deaths.

She slit her wrists and killed herself in front of her siblings in an incredibly small bedroom of a log cabin. The brother tried to stop her and got really upset when he failed, but the sister (the 16-year old) encouraged the youngest to kill herself, and then told the brother that it was the right thing to do and that now they could be alone together. Then the brother tried to kill the sister and then I woke up.

Creepy, psycho dream. *shakes head* I didn't get up til 10:30 today. It rocked. I got a cup of Cherry Coke, turned on Divorce Court, and chilled for a few hours online. I watched some vids on YouTube and played Splinter Cell. I had to break to put away some dishes but I was done quick. Then mom needed some help making her bed, so I helped out with that. Poor mom is feelin' sick, unfortunately.

Because of that, we stayed home today. Kinda boring, but I don't want mom going out when she feels like crap. I pretty much spent all day playing Splinter Cell. OH, and I wrote my fourth article for Examiner after getting my business cards in the mail, which I posted about earlier. :D I also fiddled with a pic I took with my webcam and it turned out kinda awesome! It's my new Twitter profile pic (CLICK).

One of the vids I watched today was this one by nerimon which is incredibly hilarious (it's called, "Do I Have Chlamydia?" if that doesn't draw you in, nothing will). Then there was this fucking awesome new song by Toby Turner. <3 And then, there was this...

It's starring Hank Green (brother of John Green <3) and Michael Aranda, who I read is the "thing" making [info]zeitgeist_10 happy today, lol. I really love that song, lol, I've been singing it all day. Oh, so, I have this tunic-y thing that's got the same buttons used in "Coraline" as the eyes (those simple, black buttons). So I cut them off and taped 'em to my eyes and took some pics. XD Pic one. Pic two.

So, SHITload of TV on tonight. YAY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAKESPEARE!

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

He's So Elitist
Hello people!

This is old news, but I can't NOT post Stephen quoting Shakespeare. Stephen, quote me Shakespeare anytime you like, sweetheart (also, feel free to swear).

Hello people!

Thanks goes to zeitgeist_10 for posting a clip of TCR I've never seen before. STEPHEN QUOTES SHAKESPEARE. That's one of my biggest kinks, dudes (haha, TMI). <3 Please, enjoy.

All You Dirty Catholics Can Catho-Lick My Balls
Hello people!

Last night, Nick and I hung (hanged?) out and watched Cheers, as well as played VR Missions, which was originally an extra on Metal Gear Solid, but was made into a video game with multiple training levels (timed ones, puzzle ones, etc.). We had a lotta fun, it was nice! :D

Nick and I were talking and I was like, "Have you heard of Bo Burnham?" and he was like, "Um, duh, I told you about him." I totally don't remember that at all, lol, but it was cool that Nick knew about him, too (cuz he usually doesn't know about what I watch, and vice versa). I asked what his fave was, and he said Cookout. So I decided to use my fave line from that vid as the title tonight. <3

Anywho, I got up at 10:30-ish today and mom and dad and I headed out to go furniture shopping. See, they were trying to find a new couch for the living room yesterday, but they didn't find one they like, so we went looking for one today. I think we finally found one we want today. Yayz.

We were going to go see Tropic Thunder today, which I DESPERATELY wanna see, but mom didn't really wanna go to the movies, so we went to Barnes&Noble instead. It was fun, I always love going to bookstores. I started reading Jerry Seinfeld's book, "Sein Language," and it was really funny. I heard Jerry's coming to Ohio in November! I would love to go see him; his one of my fave comedians.

Then, I got a Caramel Frappucino (double blended) and it was surprisingly good. The second best drink I've ever gotten from a Starbucks. I found Hamlet and Comedy of Errors for REALLY good prices (both of them were on sale! :D YAYZ!), and a really bitchin notebook. I was stoked, dudes, cuz I really wanna read, like, every Shakespeare book ever written, lol, so, yeah, I'm happy. And my notebook kicks ass.

Have I ever told you guys my Shakespeare kink? I know I've said my suit/tie one, but I'm not sure bout the Shakespeare one. So here ya go: if someone - ANYONE (that means boy or girl...but mostly boys, lol) - can quote Shakespeare to me, I will pretty much be a puddle at their feet. If someone quotes me Shakespeare, I will prolly jump them, right then and there. XD AND I'M PROUD OF IT! ;]

We went to Olive Garden for dinner and it ROCKED (as usual). I got chicken and salad (duh), but I didn't get to get my Black Tie Mousse Cake, which kinda made me sad, lol. But that's okay! Dinner was delicious anyway. Um, then we went home and watched the Dirty Jobs 100th Episode. So, yeah, today was pretty good! :D

I'm so fucking worried about Gustav. One of my best friends I ever met on LJ lives in Nahlins (New Orleans, lol), and she and her husband had to evacuate their house and head to Mississippi yesterday. I really hope they and their house will be okay. The storm is fucking freaking me out! :'( Send happy thoughts to everyone in Louisiana. <3

Um, I think that's it...I still have homework to do, TDS/TCR's to watch, and that AU crack!fic to write. And me with only one furcking day of freedom left. *sigh* OMG, mom and dad are both gonna be gone til about 8:00 PM on Tuesday night! I gotta get a ride home from a friend or else I'll have to wait for the bus and I really don't wanna do that, lol. It's gonna be cool to have the house mostly to myself (Nick'll be around, but he usually stays in his room).

Yeah.

That's a Compliment From Him, Really
Hello people!

Jeezus Chrizt, I'm tired.

I'm sure I've blogged bout this before, but I'm so obsessive, I must do it (again). I LOVE the video that will shortly follow this statement; it's hilarious and it ALWAYS cheers me up. Three guesses who it's all about *smirks.*

Math was stupid, but I FINALLY understand what we're doing, AND I get Domain and Range, which I haven't gotten all year! So, YAY! Chem = LAME-ASS CLASS. I surrsly hate that class. Thank Frank we're making "delicious hot schmoes" tomorrow (that's a Toy Story 2 reference, incase you didn't get it). AP Euro maintains its status as my least favorite class in history, and yes, that's taking math into account. *shakes head*

German was okay...I really don't think Zac and I will be ready by Friday. I mean, we have a lot done, but still, I can't memorize stuff well, especially with the AP test on Friday (which I won't study for, but I like to pretend that I will). I wonder if we could convince Frau (as a class, collectively) to let us do it on Monday. Then we'd have the weekend to perfect and memorize it. I mean, isn't it really better to do our best over a couple more days, than to do a shitty job because we didn't have enough time? Exactly.

Brit Lit is always fun for me; Mrs. Creek is awesome and I LOVE Macbeth. I'm gonna have to buy the complete works of Shakespeare from Barnes & Noble or something. Creative Writing was BORING AS HELL...if Hell be boring. We just do flat out NOTHING. I know I'm being redundant about CW but I can't get over the boringness, lol.

I spent the past hour reading fan-girl stories about these two girls getting the chance to not only go to The Colbert Report, but take a tour of the studio AND meet Stephen Colbert AND get pics with him. *happy sigh* That will SO be me next year. I really wanna meet Colbert (DUH), and I hear that you can if you wait by the doors after the show, you can meet him, and he's more than willing to talk to his fans. Which makes me happy. He's such a great guy.

Anywho, those stories entertained me so much and even though they didn't happen to me, I was excited for these two girls who I didn't even know, lol! It seems strange of me in retrospect, but really, how could I not be happy for these girls? They've lived my dream, lol!

American Idol was decent tonight. Most of the girls are pretty damn good, lol (DUH). I *really* hate that Paula and Randy never let Simon talk. So he doesn't have popular opinions, so what? Let him fucking talk! I mean, Jeezus, he's not there to be a brooding, silent ass. He's there to make suggestions...in an ass-ish manner.

That's all that I can remember right now...if I think of anything else, I'll report back. Oh, ya know, I didn't report back after American Idol last night. The guys were okay...only, like, four or five of the guys were good, but, ya know, whatevs. XD

Oh, and real quick; I hear word we might get a snow day on Friday. I HOPE SO. I mean, for Frank's sake! We were hammered (exaggeration right thur) with snow today, and now we're gonna get MORE tomorrow night. If we don't have a snow day, I'm gonna shoot someone (not really).

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

You've Got Your Ball, You've Got Your Chain
Hello people!

Oh, my good reader(s), I feel as though I've let you (guys) down. I apologize for not blogging yesterday, but I had to finish a paper and help my brother with his - he was having a lot of trouble with citations and whatnot.

Let's say I owe you a blog. And I'm sorry I didn't post one sooner today (technically, yesterday); I was at *a* home & garden show (not *the* H&G show, there IS a diff, lol) from the minute I got outta school til 9:00 tonight, then went out for some food with my mom and didn't get home til 11:45, which is when I took a shower, lol.

Anywho, I shall try my best to go over what I missed yesterday and today (technically, two days ago and yesterday), lol.

I'm sure all of you already know that Mitt Romney has dropped outta the race. I believe the only contenders left worth mentioning are John McCain, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton. Although she kinda creeps me out, I'm almost positive that Hillary Clinton's gonna win the whole Presidential race, lol. She seems to be the most popular, so, yeah.

Today, in Honors Chem, we watched this totally bitchin video on spontaneous human combustion! It was SO COOLY! People just burst into flames, but nothing around them caught on fire or was even damaged. The only consistency in damage was that TV's or phones in the room that the person died in somehow melted (even though they were almost always on the opposite side of the room). So awesomely intriguing, lol.

The H/G show was cooly, too. Kinda dull, a little annoying when this guy started yelling at my mom for some stupid mistake HE made, but other than that, it was fun. And then we went to Applebee's and got some delicious appetizers as our meal, and then some dessert. Then we came home and chilled. It was fun.

My interim (sp?) grades are pretty decent, which makes me SUPER happy! :D My mom was even happy with them (which is a SUPER rarity, lol)! So, yeah.

We planned our schedules for senior year today (or, at least, got the stuff to do so). I already knew every class I was gonna take and filled in my entire schedule DURING the scheduling period where Mrs. Hamilton rambled on about scheiss we already knew. Mr. Palazzo didn't even get there until there were only 8-ish minutes left in class, but he managed to suck up every last second and cram info we already knew into that little bit of time.

We started Macbeth today. Jeezus Chrizt, I freaking love Shakespeare, lol. Not romantically, of course, he was definitely NOT an attractive man, lol. But he was an AMAZERING writer and he invented so many words and phrases, he's just so cooly. If I could go back in history and meet anyone, I'd wanna meet Shakespeare. He's my hero from the past, lol. X]

Um...OH! Heath Ledger's death was ruled as an accidental overdose, which I really didn't expect. My mind automatically jumped to suicide; it's just something I do, lol. He took a prescribed drug with an over-the-counter drug and they just didn't mix in his body. So that's how he died. I'm sure you knew that already, too, but I wanted to mention it.

Just for those of you out there who watch Bones, it's returning with new episodes in TWO WEEKS! :D YAY! Can't wait!

Also, for those of you concerned with the writers strike, there are rumors (though I think they're quite plausible) going around about the fact that the strike is over and an agreement between the WGA and the AMPTP will be announced tomorrow (Saturday). I do have a small fear, however, that it is NOT over yet, and that we may have to wait a couple more weeks. Which is fine, I guess, I'm just anxious for it to end and the writers to get what they've been asking for (and totally deserve)! :]

Today, in German, Jen showed me the BEST VIDEO EVER (at least, I think it was you, Jen, lol). I'm sure you've prolly seen this already, but it's worth watching a million times over, LOL. So, I present to you, Censored Count Dracula:

If I think of anything else, I'll write about it, lol.
