See Me In the Morning for the Prize
Hello people!

PUMPKIN FESTIVAL DAY OMG!!!

I was woken up at 6:30-ish this morning and immediately took my shower. I got dressed and ready to go and we left the house at 8:30. I got to ride in the back of dad's van, cuz there weren't any other seats. It was cool, I laid down with the pumpkins and fell asleep (eventually). Mom bought us breakfast (I had two hashbrowns and Diet Coke), and we listened to our burned CDs of Brian Regan and Dane Cook and whatnot.

It was SO MUCH FUN. I love our comedy CDs. <3 We got to the festival about an hour earlier than planned - around 11:00. Hannah, Colby (Nick's friends) and Nick went their own way, while mom, dad and I walked around together. We agreed to meet up at 4:00 later on. We were hungry, so we stopped at this little "family-style" restaurant. I got chicken nuggets, which weren't that good, but the fries were amazing!

And they had home-made rolls that were so delicious! After that, we walked around and just popped into whatever stores we passed. There was a chocolate shop that had some yummy-looking candy; I got two swiss mocha chocolates (or something like that...). They were pretty good. I bought a Pumpkin Fest t-shirt and mom got an ornament and mug. We checked out a lot of jewelry stands, but nothing looked good.

Also, they were kinda on the expensive side this year. *shrugs* Meh. S'not like I had a crapload of money to spend anyway. I got this awesome snack called a Bloomin' Apple, which is like the Bloomin' Onion at Outback, but it's an apple (obviously) covered in melted caramel. MMM, so good. We pretty much saw everything by 3:00 and met up with the rest of the gang early.

We decided to stop in at the movie theater in town, where they play cartoons for free all day. We watched Bugs Bunny and Roadrunner cartoons for two hours. Next, we got hot dogs and hamburgers, then chilled til 6:30-ish, when the sky got dark and the pumpkins were lit. We went over to ours and took pictures and video. Everyone kept commenting on mine and dad's. :} It was AWESOME. <333

In fact, a guy came up and commented on mine, and Colby said, "She carved it," and pointed to me. The guy was like, "That's amazing! You should win a prize for that." I laughed, and then he said the title of this post, which tickled me, lol. Yeah, it was fun. :] At about 7:30, we finally went on home. We all slept in the car for a bit and got home around 10:00. I made myself a waffle and some sausage cuz I was still hungry.

Dad and I talked about Green Mountain and how he would understand and support me if I found a two-year school that I'd rather attend. I explained that I hate how it feels like all I'm doing is busy-work and I'm not learning anything, and that I know most schools are like that, rather than being about learning. He said he completely understands how I feel about Green Mountain (and most other colleges, really).

So, yeah, I think next year, I'm gonna find a different school and finish out there. It's hard to explain, but it really feels like college is a waste of time. It's not about learning, ya know? They just want us to do paper after paper, all of which mean nothing, and they're not really teaching me. Whatever, I'll worry about it later. I'm gonna put up my Pumpkin Fest vids tonight, but I'll be doing a picspam tomorrow.

I Don't Wanna Step on Anyone's Personal Beliefs, But...Well, Here We Go
Hello people!

I woke up at 10:53 today. I fell asleep at around midnight last night. That makes almost ELEVEN HOURS of sleep and yet, I'm so tired I can barely keep my eyes open. WTF? Do any of you ever feel this way? And if so, what do you do for it? Though I think more of you suffer from insomnia than whatever problem I've got, lol.

When I got up, I went out to the living room and chatted with dad for a bit then took a shower. Dad made me some pasta salad for lunch and it was quite delicious. Let's see...then we chilled for a while and that's pretty much it. Uh, we re-watched Brian Regan's special that's on our DVR. It doesn't really stop being funny, lol. The title of this post is from the special. It's on DVD, you should buy it (The Epitome of Hyperbole).

Mom came home and we watched Life on Mars. I don't think it's very good. Meh. I wasn't interested in it to begin with anyway. Then we watched an ep of Eli Stone and then dad and I headed out to get some dinner. We got Chick-Fil-A for me and Nick and some Applebee's for mom and dad.

Uh...we watched another ep of Eli Stone and then ate some ice cream for dessert and that's really about it. Yeah, today has been insanely uneventful. It's 6:48 and it feels like 3:00. Mom, dad and Nick are gonna go to this haunted trail thing at 9:00. It'll be nice to have a little bit of time to myself, but it's gonna be kinda eerie at night. Yes, I'm a wuss who's afraid of the dark, that is old news, lol.

I haven't watched any TDS/TCRs since last night, but I know I should. Even with FUN stuff, I procrastinate! How crazy is that? Just silly. I need a Diet Coke or something. Grr.

Please be sure to check out this post. Thanks!

Cover Me, Limp-Dick Fucker!
Disclaimer: This is Saturday, September 6th's blog post.

Hello people!

OMG, today rocked so hard! :D

Mom and I had to get up kinda early (7:00-ish BLECH) to get ready for that dog show thingy we had to go to. I took a shower and packed up my stuff, which took me about ten minutes, lol. Mom, however, took FOREVER to pack her stuff, and she gets really frantic when she thinks she's gonna be late, so she was running around the house yelling at everyone for being in the way. *shakes head*

And the only reason we hadn't packed the night before was cuz we watched "Twister" (bitchin movie), Psych, and Monk. OH! And Gary Cole is gonna guest star on the Psych summer finale next week! I'm SO EXCITED! I frakkin love Gary Cole, lol (he's Bill Lumburgh in "Office Space" and Harvey Birdman!). <3 Oh, and I couldn't believe Eric McCormack was the killer on Monk! It kinda bummed me out, lol; I love EMcM! :D

Moving on. Eventually, we left (at about...9:00). We went to Dayton (where the show was). It took us fifteen, twenty minutes to set up the booth, cuz we had to put up a stupid tent-type-thingy, which is a big fat hassle. Let me tell you something, too; you all know I hate dogs. Well, this event took place at a fenced-off town pool.

So not only were dogs running around leash-less, but they were soaking wet, too. The only thing I hate more than a dog is a sopping wet dog. And some of them jumped on me. Gross. Um, so we left about two hours early (MOOHAHA) and went to Olive Garden for a late lunch/early dinner. It was fantastic, as usual. And we got the usual, lol; chicken fingers, salad, iced tea, and cake for dessert.

We did try the never-ending pasta, though. I got Penne with Asiago Garlic sauce and it was DELICIOUS, and mom got the same sauce, but over Fettucini (sp?). Yeah, it was really good, I definitely recommend the pasta. We packed up everything we didn't eat (which was a good amount of food, lol) and went to check into our hotel. It was wonderful; it was...um...something Suites...Homewood Suites? That doesn't sound right...but anyway, our room was gorgeous, and it overlooked the outdoor pool! :D

We chilled for a bit, unpacked stuff, ya know. I tried to connect to their damn Wi-Fi, but it kept telling me there was an error, so I gave up. We both ended up falling asleep for half an hour or so (which was lovely, lol) and then we got up and headed out to The Greene, which is this really kick-ass outdoor mall (I think I've mentioned it once or twice before...). There's a bookstore there that we really love - Books & Co. - so we went there first.

We got frappucinos and read some books and after an hour or so decided to leave. I got the I Am America (And So Can You!) desk calendar whilst there! *SO HAPPY* Hehe! X] Um, so, yeah, next, we went to Bath and Body Works and got some body wash stuff. Mine were Sea Cotton (it smells clean...I love it, lol) and this one called, "Sleep," which was lavender and vanilla.

Then we kinda just walked around until we reached the movie theater. It's HUGE. They serve real food there (like, you could eat dinner there if you wanted to, lol) and, yeah, it was ginormous. OH! And the seating was really cool; the seats were tall-ish, so that no one's head could block your view, and they were elevated on every level, again, so as not to block teh view, AND they reclined. It was so awesome, lol.

We got some popcorn and a soda and I got some Raisinets (sp?) and we saw Tropic Thunder. OMFG that movie is definitely one of my faves EVER. It was so effing hilarious, and I didn't think mom would like it, but she LOVED it! :D I wanna go see it again. That's where the title of this post came from (as well as the post before this, lol). Oh, and Robert Downey Jr. is a fucking MASTER, dude. I officially love him now, lol. Seriously, if you haven't seen it, go see it. GO NOW!

After that, we went to Caribou Coffee and I got a caramel cooler (yeah, we drank a lot of coffee whilst out, lol). Then we went back to the hotel, ate some Olive Garden left-overs, and watched some TV. We came across a (new?) Brian Regan special on Comedy Central called, "The Epitome of Hyperbole." It was great, of course.

And then we watched "You've Got Mail." And so ended teh day of pure awesomness, lol.
