I'm Brave, I'm a Brave President
Hello people!

OKAY, LONG, DETAILED, DRAWN-OUT DREAM TIME. Yet again. I think I might perhaps cut this one cuz these are getting ridiculous and you must be sick of hearing about my stupid meaningless dreams, lol. SO. ONWARD HO.

I wonder if my thinking about him before I went to sleep made me dream about him... )

I finished watching "Eye of the Killer" last night and whew! It was pretty good. Totally weird, but definitely good. And Jason Jones was in it! :D A small role, but still! Here, see for yourself, lol! I slept til 10:30 today, which is actually not an awful time to get up, so I was pleased with that. I spent the next couple of hours online, watched some TV, beat Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow for the millionth time. <3

At noon-ish, dad came home and picked me up to take me to the movies to meet up with mom so she and I could see MONSTERS VS ALIENS! :DDD Ahem. First, though, we stopped at Chick-Fil-A and got some lunch to bring into the theater. There were at least twenty or so, maybe more, little kids there, of course, but it actually wasn't that bad, or that crowded. And ZOMG. TEH MOVEH.

I loved it. I mean, I really loved it. It was fucking hilarious! The title of this post is something Stephen's character says, but it's in commercials I've seen, so I don't consider it a spoiler, lol. Not only was I laughing a lot (especially at Seth Rogen's parts, and I hate the guy, so that's saying something), but MOM was laughing, too! She LOVED it. To the point that she would see it again. And THAT'S saying something, LOL!

:D I'm so stoked that she loved it so much, and seriously, if you didn't see it today, you need to go see it ASAP, cuz it's hysterical. Everyone did a fantastic job and I'm so glad my men all did this movie. <333 *LOVES ON TEH BOYZ* If only Jon had had a part, that would've been absolutely perfect! Alas. Another time, another movie. We considered actually seeing it a second time today, but decided against it. X]

After the movie, mom had an appointment, so we went to that. Then, around 5:00, we went to Panera for dinner. Got the ushe, of course, sans the danish, though, cuz they didn't make those today. The coffee was superb, however. MMMMM. COFFEE. Following our food outing, we decided to stop by Payless (mom needed work shoes) and Target (just for fun).

I got some bitchin new flippy-floppies (XD). They're black and have flames and a skull on 'em! :D SO COOL. At Target, we got in the mood for fun stuff, so mom and I got some root beer, vanilla ice cream, some coffee breakfast bars, and some candy. We're gonna have root beer floats in a bit! Haven't had one of those in a long time, so I'm lookin' forward to that, hehe! <3

Then we came home. I think I'm gonna watch some 24 and do some homework I should've done a week ago, lol, and just chill the rest of the night. I still feel like playing a video game, but I already beat both Splinter Cells this week and I don't really have much else that I haven't already played a hundred bajillion times. *shrugs* Oh, well. Love me some shoutin', terrorist-shootin' Kiefer.

And then, tomorrow, I'm gonna catch up on Jon and Stephen and watch this past week's ep (and last ep of the season) of Important Things. Oh, speaking of Demetri, he's gonna be on Letterman tonight at 12:35 (obviously, if you watch Letterman, you know what time it starts, lol). AND, Dana Carvey's gonna be on Leno (at 11:35). But watch out; Billy Mays is gonna be on Leno, too. :O

I was watching YouTube, and I saw some videos of celebs being asked to sign autographs, and it kind of disgusted me. I mean, the celebs are totally gracious and nice about giving the autographs and taking pics with people, but it seems like all the fans are really rude. They just thrust their papers and pics in front of the celebs' faces and yell at them and call them by their first name and...I dunno. It just seems so incredibly rude.

Oh, goodness me, you know what I forgot? I got another college rejection letter today. This time from Bard, which is in New York. That one was a teeny bit more painful than Emerson, but still not too bad. And actually, the more I learn about Green Mountain College, the more I look forward to attending. I hope I don't get rejected by NYU, *KNOCK ON WOOD*, but even if that happens, at least I can go to GMC. <3

Ya know what really annoys me? When people don't read profiles. What's the point of filling in a profile if no one's gonna take the goddamn time to read it? Like it's THAT hard? Anywho. ENOUGH OF THAT. XD

Your Pentagram is Actually a Star of David - MAZEL TOV!
Hello people!

Gah. Another blah-y day.

I know I had a dream last night and I remembered it when I woke up but it's gone now. *sigh* Oh, let's go back a little. Last night, we watched Chuck and Reaper from this past week. They were both pretty good. The title of this post is from Reaper; the Devil says it to Sam when he tries to conjure the Devil by drawing a pentagram on the floor and saying an incantation. HILARIOUSNESS.

Okay, so, I woke up still feeling sick. It was 9:00 and I couldn't get back to sleep. I got up and took a shower then put on SHORTS and a t-shirt cuz it's 70 degrees again today! :D YAY GOOD WEATHER! It's super windy, but still. The temp is nice and that's all that matters. X] Dad and Nick decided to go trade in our XBOX 360 and all of our XBOX games so they can get Resident Evil, Fear 2, and Killzone 2.

The only thing that bothers me is that Nick just assumed he could just trade in everything as if it was all his. *shakes head* Anywho. We went to GameStop and traded everything in, but as it turns out, Resident Evil's not out til Friday, so we only got Fear 2 and Killzone 2. Then we did some grocery shopping at Giant Eagle, then dad got us lunch - I got Chick-Fil-A! YAY! XD I LOVE CHICK-FIL-A! <3

By the time we were done, it was nearing one (RHYME! :O) and dad had to meet mom at Kroger. We didn't have time to get home, have dad drop us off, then have him go back out, so we all went to meet up with mom. I was feeling a little worse in the store, so I was moping all over the place. We got a ton of soda and iced tea AND popsicles! :D I haven't had popsicles in forever and they're SO good for a sore throat.

Um, then we came home. Nick was an ass to me, so I went to my room. I had to vacuum, then I tried (again) to find Spyro 2 in the living room, to no avail. I got annoyed and went back to my room, where I brooded for a moment before taking a nap. Nap=one of the best things ever, btw. I had a dream that dad, Nick and I were loading groceries into the car in the parking lot (of course, lol).

I was crying about something and dad was yelling for me to put everything in the trunk while he and Nick sat in the car. And it was hugely windy, so I was struggling to keep the groceries from flying away. Then I woke up, then went right back to sleep and had a dream that mom called me and told me to stop being mad at Nick and dad while I was looking for Spyro 2 in the living room.

We went back and forth about my being angry for a few minutes. There was a huge display case (like one that would be in a video game store) in the living room, by the window, and it had at least 100 PS1 games in it. I noticed a Spyro/Pacman game in the case and I was like, "Huh, I don't remember getting that..." Then, I looked a row below it, and there were, like, ten Spyro games there.

I told mom I didn't remember getting any of those games, and she asked if Ripto's Rage (Spyro 2) was in there. It was. I checked the case and it was empty. Mom said, "Check the Christmas DVDs dad just got me, it's in there." There was this white DVD case that had, like, twenty Christmas movies in it (it folded out like the Supernatural seasons cases do).

I started going through the movies when mom walked in the door, we hung up our phones, and then I woke up. *shakes head* I was actually so convinced that that was some kind of sign that I went into the living room after I woke up and checked by the Christmas movies (cuz we keep them together) to see if Spyro 2 really was there. It wasn't. And mom hadn't called.

The dream seemed incredibly real...anyway, um, after that, I called a couple of places that sell PS1 games around town, cuz I know I'm not gonna find Spyro 2 in the house, I have no idea where it is. So I was just gonna buy a new one. Well, that's problematic when no one has a copy. I went on eBay and there was an "in very good condition" copy WITH the manual for $7.50, ending in six minutes.

I told dad and he bid $8.00 on it, and guess what?! HE WON! :D I got my game! I'm so happy about that, lol. I've been desperate to play it for, like, three weeks now. <3 It'll be about a week or so before I get it, but that's okay, I can't play til next weekend anyway. And, I think mom ordered my phone. Dad came in my room this morning, wanting to talk to me about the game-exchanging thing.

I told him the other day that it really ticked me off that Nick was getting to trade in whatever he wanted and get the game he wanted, but I was being told I might have to wait to get my phone. So, this morning, dad said, "I don't want you to be upset about Nick trading this stuff in, cuz you're getting something really good...really soon. Mom's gonna talk to you about it later."

Mom has yet to talk to me, but I'm pretty sure it's about my phone. :} <3 Oh, hey, so, this past week's Important Things was on CC last night, so dad put it on and Nick randomly came out to the living room and we watched the last fifteen-ish minutes of it, and OMG, it was hilarious. And I think Nick likes it! :D I might have to loan him my Demetri Martin CD, hehe!

And Jimmy Carr's stand-up was on after that, and it was HYSTERICAL. Holy scheiss, it was so funny. I love Jimmy Carr. One of his jokes was, "I'm thinking of getting a tattoo just above the banana hammock, saying, 'Caution: Choking Hazard. Ages 18+. May Contain Nuts.'" After I heard that, I could not stop laughing. I kinda want whatever future boyfriend I have to get that tattoo, LOL.

GAH, we watched Ugly Betty, and MO ROCCA guest-starred in an admittedly short role! He's adorable. And the show that Ignacio was competing on against...uh...I forget his name, whatever, was a total shout-out to Bobby Flay's Throwdown, which we LOVE in this house. I pretty much SQUEE'd about it, lol. ;D

Okay, I'm done now. LATENESS FTF (for the fail)!

Tell That Story Again!...It Was Funnier on Tuesday
Hello people!

Once again, it sucked to get up this morning. And for the first time in maybe a month, I went back to sleep after my alarm went off. I was just so tired (and I went to bed early last night! :O). I don't understand it, I feel like I haven't slept at all this week. *headdesk*

In myth, we looked at some paintings done during the Renaissance of the Roman versions of the gods. It was cool, some of the paintings were really nice, despite the abundance of half-naked women, LOL. At least there were half-naked men to look at, too. XD We had ANOTHER quiz in math today. I dunno WTF Mr. P's problem is giving us all these tests and quizzes! AND, we have TWO homework assignments!

He needs to give us a fucking break, everyone's sick of this shit. *grrr* Moving on. In AP Gov., we had a reading quiz, which I'm almost positive I failed since I didn't read the chapter, lol, and one of those AP practice quizzes. I'm actually more confident about that one. I felt like I knew some of the answers. *shrugs* Then we did current events, and OH BOY, was that fun!

This guy in Michigan (in SAGINAW, no less!) was arrested for indecent exposure while performing a sex act with a car wash vacuum cleaner. How would you like to be the defense attorney on that case, lol? OH, and this guy, I forget where, stole candy from a gas station convenience store. When he was arrested, he shouted, "I served in the military and I'll steal as many M&M's as I want!"

People are so stupid, lol. *shakes head* We FINALLY finished The Crucible in AmLit. Such a great movie. I want to buy it. In MindCandy, we had, like, five or six more stories/poems to read through that were submitted today. Most of them were suckish, but ya know. Oh, well. Cecil was hilarious today and dramatically read one of the stories aloud to entertain us (it worked, lol).

And someone said, "Ya know, the more you read that, the more British you sounded." And I IMMEDIATELY thought of one of those graphs Demetri Martin does, like, "This is how British you sound while reading a story versus how long it is." XD And OMG, Cecil sat next to me all period and his hair looked so fluffy and soft, I kinda wanted to run my hands through it. /creepiness.

We had some good conversation in that class and I've decided to try to film the entire class period tomorrow. I dunno if it'll work, as my batteries die fairly quickly, but I'm hoping we'll have a grand ol' time and everything will go on without a hitch, lol. Mom and dad picked me up and we went straight on home. Nick apparently has some kind of virusy flu thingy. He was doing terribly this morning, but he's better now.

I've been wanting to play Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage ALL WEEK and tried to find it, but I couldn't. I checked everywhere and I have no idea where it is and it upset me that I couldn't find it, lol. Do you guys ever feel like you just HAVE to play this one game, even if you've already played it through before? I know Nick lost the damn game, but there's nothing I can do about it. So I took a nap.

I slept for, like, four hours til about 5:30. Then we had lasagna! We haven't had lasagna in FOREVER and it was so freaking delicious. The Mega Millions lottery here is worth $171 million, so mom and dad went to the dinky convenience store down the street and bought a couple tickets. Of course, I really hope we win, but I know our luck, and I doubt we'll be coming into any money anytime soon.

OMFG GUESS WHAT?!?! I dunno if any of you watch Community Channel (Nat) on YouTube, but she does this thing at the end of her vids called, "Porno Music/Comment Time" where she showcases comments from her previous video she found particularly amusing whilst playing this music that sounds very porn-like. And last night, MY COMMENT WAS IN IT! :D I was so freakishly thrilled, lol! I love Nat's vids. <3

EMBEDDING (my comment is in the first batch shown, and my account name is DRSAICO, pause the vid to read my comment):

Such a funny vid, too. Title of this post is (obviously, if you watch the vid) from the video. Gotta love Nat! <3 That's about it, guys! Um...yeah. OH! I'm going to the Home & Garden show with mom tomorrow and GUESS WHAT?! They have Hollywood/movie themes this year, and one of them is JURASSIC (MOTHERFUCKING) PARK!!! I'm so fucking excited, I think my head's gonna explode, lol. Expect pics! ;] TGIF!

The Best Way to Say, "I Love You, But I Don't Trust You"
Hello people!

It seems that every night/morning is becoming more and more of a blur as the days go by...not sure why, but yeah, can't really remember if I dreamed about anything, but I was dazed this morning, as usual lately. Maybe I'm just not getting enough sleep. *shrugs*

We didn't do a whole lot of anything in myth. OH! But we have this project (due on Tuesday) where we have to make a poster of OUR versions of the 14 major Olympian gods (including the 2 Earth gods). I figured I'd do a fandom version, so here are the fandoms I'd like to use: TDS/TCR, 24, Leverage, Supernatural, Dexter, Bones. I was wondering if YOU guys would help me with suggestions of which character is which god.

I'm gonna do a separate post with info about the gods so you guys can actually participate, lol, if you want to, so feel free to wait til that post (prolly sometime later tonight). If you already know about the gods feel free to post your thoughts on this post. X] Okay, moving on. In math, we went over homework and notes. Mr. P didn't finish teaching us the lesson, but he still assigned us homework and said, "Try." *shakes head*

We kinda just goofed off in AP Gov., though we did learn a little bit about Marbury V. Madison, which is Messick's fave Supreme Court case, so she was all giddy and stuff. In AmLit, Mrs. J was back (her son was sick yesterday), but she said that we weren't doing anything today. So we sat there. And did nothing. And the paper that I stayed up til 1:00 to finish on Monday night isn't due til tomorrow. *headdesk*

Apparently, Robbins is staying home this entire month. SO, guess who's subbing for us til April? MR. CECIL (AKA, the Shawn Spencer look-alike)! <3 OMG I LOVE HIM, lol. We spent most of MindCandy fooling around on the computers. We watched a ton of Lonely Island vids (Lazy Sunday, JIMP, Iran So Far Away) on Hulu and basically laughed our asses off (including Cecil, who commented on them and joked with us <333).

There was one that was something like, "The Best Look in the World," or something, where everyone was pantsless (and underwearless) and it showed pixelated dicks, lol, and Shampel FREAKED OUT and was like, "Hey. Turn that off, it's not school appropriate." I fucking HATE Shampel. Everyone does. He's such an asshole. So we did a little typing then, and once that was done, I worked on my latest story.

Speaking of...here's the deal: we're only allowed to have two of our own works in the published version of MindCandy. I already have two submissions, but the story I'm working on right now was sposed to be another. Now I'm not sure what I want to submit. One of them is non-negotiable, as it's everyone's fave in the class. So it's down to my Dexter poem (which I love), and the story, which is kinda like Dexter.

And so, flist, I come to you for help. Could you read through my Dexter poem, then read through what I have done for the story (posted below the cut) and tell me which you think I should submit? It's due tomorrow, so I need opinions tonight, please! :]

What You See Isn't What You Get )

====

Okay, anywho. Mom, dad and Nick picked me up today (Nick stayed home cuz there's something seriously wrong with his foot...not sure why, but he says it hurts too much to walk on *shrugs*). We went to the grocery store, which took, like, two hours, then went home. I spent the afternoon in my room, watching vids on YouTube and chillin. And listening to some Lonely Island stuff from Incredibad. X]

OH! I watched Important Things, too (DVR'd it last night). OMG, it was hilarious. And John Oliver was a guest! :D He was actually pretty funny, especially as Shakespeare. XD The title of this post is from the show, when Demetri was talking about the "sponsors" of that episode and mentioned, "prenuptials." OH, and I totally noticed that Saturn was excluded in that mnemonics joke! :D It's my fave planet, lol.

Thursday, Thursday, thank Frank it's almost Friday.

My Balls Are Telling Me This Is a Good Idea
Hello people!

Man, it was hard to get up today. Oh! But I remember part of my dream! :D I was starting a new class (it was in college!) and the teacher was the artsy type, as it was some kind of art or theater or writing class. His wife was there and she was REALLY strict and upset about the way her husband was planning on teaching us that first day. She stormed out of the room about a minute into class.

The teacher had us write something down...something about ourselves? I don't remember, but it was an entire assignment and it took all period. People had brought treats like candy and ice cream to class, like that was totally the norm, and the teacher was like, "Okay, if you brought something, go ahead and hand it out." I didn't bring anything, but I remember someone brought Jolly Ranchers.

There were milkshakes, too, and I got mine last...not sure why that's significant, but I remember that. There was another assignment we were sposed to do but I guess we ran out of time or something cuz we never did it. We knew about it, though, and it was to make a video of ourselves talking about our style of video-making and why we make the videos we make. *shrugs* Then I woke up, lol.

Mom and dad left this morning, about fifteen minutes before us. It was sad. I didn't cry, but I wanted to. We left without a hitch, which was nice. We had a sub in myth, so we just got handouts to do. OMG, we learned about Apollo (in the handouts) and I think I LOVE him, lol! He fell in love with TWO guys, even though he had mostly female lovers. I went, "Aww!" when I read that, LOL! XD

We had a quiz in math and I think I did okay. *knock on wood* We have another quiz tomorrow and I think it'll be easy-ish, too. In AP Gov., we talked a little bit about the chapter, but we mostly discussed random stuff. I don't even remember what, but yeah, lol. Yuki brought in a box of Krispy Kreme donuts (they were sold this morning in the cafeteria, we have that every now and then) and shared with everyone. <3

We finished the Crucible as a class today. I finished my entire study guide and character chart in class, so I didn't have any homework tonight (which was the case yesterday, too!). OMG, Dewey went home today cuz she was sick, so in MindCandy, we had Robbins AND Mr. Cecil (the Shawn Spencer look-alike)! HOLY MOO, guys, it was AMAZING. Two incredibly cute and funny teachers AT THE SAME TIME?!

That's what she said, lol. Seriously, though, they were like a non-stop comedy act when put together. It was insanely hilarious and fun and I wish Cecil could be in our class more often. Robbins said Cecil's taking over for him for the month of March, though I don't remember why, but yeah, we get Cecil for a month! :D I'm gonna try to snap a picture or maybe make a little vid of the class and get him in it...

OH, Robbins said he wanted to name his son Jesus, but couldn't cuz his wife's family freaked out when they heard. See, he's Jewish. And it wouldn't have been pronounced, "Hay-zeus," it would be pronounced like JEEZUS, lol, which I think is one of the funniest things EVER. And we were all like, "You could do SO MUCH with that. Like, I love Jesus, and accept Jesus in your life, and Jesus is my son." XD GUH.

I left at noon and grabbed some mini!muffins and a Snickers from the vending machine before getting a ride home from Chris. I ate the muffins on the way but saved the Snickers for dessert later. When I got home, I let the dog out and made some lunch; pepperoni sandwich with Doritos and a glass of Cherry Coke. DELICIOUS. I watched some TV and took a short nap. It rocked.

Nick came home pissed off, though about what, I have no clue. I asked what was wrong and he only replied with, "I hate this place." He must've gotten picked on on the bus again. I wonder what people do to him? What people say? I've never seen anyone be mean to him before, though I guess I don't really see him at all during the day, so... He went straight to his room and I went back to the TV.

Shit, okay, so, I smelled cigarette smoke in the living room and I KNEW right away that Nick was smoking. Then I snuck up to his door (as quietly as possible) and heard another voice. For a second, I thought there might be hope that it was Nick's friend smoking, not him, but I realized that's stupid. If his friend was doing it, he was, too. So I knocked on his door and asked him to come out.

He said no and I demanded he come out and guess what? He said no. His door was locked, so I did the only thing I could think of and called my dad. I feel bad cuz I really feel like I just put a shitload of stress on his and mom's shoulders while their on a mini!vacation, but I didn't know what else to do. Dad called him and Nick lied. He said the girl's (yes, GIRL) parents smoke, that's why it smells like that.

But that's fucking ridiculous, I've been around smokers (my grandpa and cousins) and that strong a smell only comes from actually smoking. Dad called me about ten minutes later and asked if I was okay and I said, "Yeah, I guess." And he said he'd talk to me later. He sounded depressed. Ya know, fuck. Fuck my stupid dumbass brother and what he's become. He's not my brother anymore.

He just came out from his room and asked me what my problem is. WHAT'S MY PROBLEM?! How bout the fact that I don't feel fucking safe in my own fucking house?! How bout YOU WERE SMOKING, YOU DOUCHE?! How bout you're a complete and utter MORON and I hate you for making me feel like this?! I'm so sick of this shit, but mostly? I'm upset that you're making me feel afraid to be in the house with you.

*sigh* I'm so done with him and his bullshit. I mean, I really don't know who he is. He came home and was like, "Oh, hey, we should have a party on Saturday!" First of all, I despise parties, and second of all, why the FUCK would I betray mom and dad's trust like that? So I said, "Um. No." and he said, "Okay. But it would be fun!" and I said, "Um. NO." Then he tried to get mom and dad to let us stay home tomorrow!

I don't even have anymore days I can miss the semester! I mean, I've hit my freaking limit! If I miss another day, I WILL FAIL. And if I fail, I'm held back. Nick came out to the living room ON THE PHONE with mom and dad and handed me the phone, then said, "Tell 'em you don't feel good so we can stay home." I'm not gonna lie to them when I feel fucking FINE. The only time I do that is if I have homework that needs doing. X]

Okay, enough. Moving on. You're all caught up now. I'm gonna make dinner, though I'm not sure what I want yet...maybe pancakes? Or pizza rolls? I dunno. Not sure what I'm in the mood for. Oh, Important Things was AWESOME last night, lol. I LOVED the jokes and the parallel parking bit was hysterical! And the song! Me Versus You! SO GREAT! XD The title of this post is part of one of his jokes.

Tonight's a big TV night but I dunno if I wanna watch everything. I usually watch stuff with mom and dad. It'd just feel weird. I dunno. They arrived in Jacksonville safely, thankfully, and said it's about 63 degrees down there. Even though I hate Florida, part of me wishes I could have gone. I'm sick of being cold constantly (the AC is on all day at school, in every classroom) and I could use a break.

Ya know, I was in such a great mood when I got home. I mean, @tony_almeida on Twitter actually asked me if I would want to make videos for him (not like that, get your mind outta the gutter!) FOR MONEY, I completed ALL of my homework, I had a great lunch and Tatiana got voted off of American Idol last night! There's more but I can't remember it all. I was so happy! Now I just wanna sleep.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

Dork Alert: Shameless Silliness
Hello people!

Kay, so, Nick and I wrote this little ditty up, like, two years or so ago when 24: The Game came out. It's really random and silly, but I figured I might as well put it to some kind of use.

It's about Tony Almeida (played by Carlos Bernard), who is basically Jack Bauer's right-hand man. Or, well, he used to be. ANYWHO. It's to the tune of those old "Frosted Flakes" commercials. :] PLZ 2 ENJOY.

P.S. I watched Demetri Martin's show, finally. IT WAS AWESOME. XD

Hello people!

Ya know, I feel like I say the same shit all the time. You guys must get bored! I wish I had more exciting stuff to say, lol. Oh, well, back to usual: I am super tired. *shakes head* I couldn't fall asleep til 1:00 last night. I dunno why, I just couldn't.

I can't remember my dreams, which frustrates me to no end. *sigh* In myth, we learned about Poseidon, Hades, and...shit, someone else. But FINALLY, we learned about something that actually interests me; Hades! I LOVE HADES. XD So that was cool. Math suuuuuuuucked. What else is new? We just did notes and homework and shit. We went over the chapter in AP Gov., as we have a test tomorrow.

I brought in a box of Gobstoppers to munch on today, but I put them in a smaller box cuz the box they originally come in is HUGE. Messick was like, "What're those?" and I said, "Gobstoppers," and the two girls who sit next to me were like, "Can I have one?" and then Messick took a couple, so I just told the class to help themselves. *shrugs* I still had half a box leftover at home.

So we went through those pretty fast, lol. Near the end of class, I was called down to the guidance office. I dunno about you guys, but I fucking hate that. It's so scary. :( And for good reason today. 'Member when I mentioned that I hid my interim from my parents? And I emailed my math teacher asking him to not mention my F to my parents? Well, my guidance counselor and math teacher wanted to talk to me today.

I explained why I hadn't done homework the entire quarter, and Mrs. Hamilton (guidance counselor) really seemed to understand. Although, she kinda sounded bitchy in what she said, and if I hadn't been so grateful that she seemed to agree with me/see my side, I would've bitched her out for the way she said what she said; she explained to Mr. P that she knew when she met my parents that they put a lot of pressure on me and Nick to succeed.

That's totally true, but the way she said that she knew when she met them, and how she went on to say that Nick and I have "overcome a lot" at home, like we've been fucking abused or something! I don't even know, but you should've heard her. She's such a bitch sometimes. Anywho, Mr. P explained that he has to talk to my parents if I don't, so I asked him to give me two weeks to bring my grade up, and he said okay.

Let me tell you, I felt like I was gonna fucking faint when I left. My heart was racing and I wanted to cry. I know I'm to blame for my problems, but I'm so afraid to talk to my parents about shit cuz, really, they can't do anything about it and they're already weighed down with so much Nick shit, especially as of late (apparently, he's getting bullied on the bus and failing a bunch of classes).

I really don't wanna give them more shit to worry about. I know that sounds like a lame-ass excuse from a desperate teen, but it's not. I really worry about my parents sometimes, especially with my dad hating his job and coming home on the edge of a break down and mom getting shit appointments at shitty times and there's just a lot of pressure on this house and I don't wanna fucking add to it.

Besides, I'm doing all my homework now and I'm trying to improve on tests. Hopefully, it won't be an issue anymore. Moving on. We read more Crucible in AmLit and I, of course, read ahead again. It really is very good. :] In MindCandy, we did more of that correcting stuff and it was fun again, lol. We read slightly darker stories/poems today, as opposed to the ridiculous amount of love poems yesterday.

I wrote up a Dexter poem (I know, I know) and submitted it, and I didn't get to see all of my ratings and comments, but I think I made it in the magazine, which makes me happy, lol. Adams made the comment I used as tonight's post's title, lol. X] He's a silly monkey. Here's the poem, incase you're interested in reading it:

Dad took the day off today and he came with mom to pick me up. We stopped at the cafe and I got a coffee, then we went home. I did my math homework when I got home and read over some stuff from the AP Gov. book cuz, yeah, as I said before, we have a test tomorrow. Then we watched Leverage (we DVR'd it last night) and basically chilled the rest of the afternoon.

OH, speaking of shows from last night, fucking Fringe, guys. It scared the motherfucking FUCK outta me. Seriously, the first few minutes MADE ME FUCKING CRY. It was so scary. Do any of you watch that show? If not, have you seen "The Matrix"? If so, ya know the part in the beginning where Neo's dreaming or something and his mouth seals shut? That's kinda what happened on Fringe.

If you haven't seen it, here's pretty much what happened: this two-dollar bill was infected with some weird toxin or whatever, and when someone touched it, every orifice on their bodies sealed up with skin. Their eyes, their mouths, their noses, etc. They slowly died from it. Faceless people REALLY scare me. I dunno why, but yeah, it freaks me out so much. *shudders*

Whew. Anywho. Leverage was really good (it involved court! :D). Um, and now, here we are. Not much is on tonight, aside from American Idol, so it looks to be a pretty relaxed evening. Ya know what's weird? My blog post for last night only got, like, three or four comments, but the latest meme I did got, like, 15 or 16 comments. HMM. ;]

OH GUYS DON'T FORGET: Demetri Martin's new show premieres tonight! I think at 10:30? It looks awesome, so FUCKING WATCH IT! XD

OKAY BYEEEE.

P.S. Is that icon I'm using not fucking hot? *guh*

Could Things Been Done Better?
Hello people!

I stayed home today! :D I did it! Unfortunately, I didn't have to do much convincing, I actually felt sick. Dad came in to get me up and I started coughing and he was like, "You can't miss school today, honey, you're missing two days next week!" (which I predicted he'd say last night). He kinda just up and left and I didn't see anyone for thirty minutes.

Then, Nick came in and hugged me and told he was sorry I was sick and that he'd see if I could stay home (have I mentioned that sometimes he can be freakishly amazing? <3). He asked dad and dad said that he wasn't gonna decide if I could stay home. So Nick got mom up (she was still sleeping) to come see me. She didn't even ask how I was, she just came in, sat down next to me, and said I should stay home.

I was hacking my brains out for an hour, so I think that was evidence enough that I felt like shit. She brought me some medicine and the air-purifier thing she bought a week or so ago. Nick stopped by to say hi to me and ask if I needed anything. Then he said if I got bored, I could text him. Then mom had to take him to school (dad had already left for work).

I slept til 10:00, woke up for a few minutes, then went back to sleep. Mom woke me up at 12:30 and said I should probably get up so I could sleep tonight. She left for an appointment and I got up and did my AmLit homework that I spaced on this past weekend. I tried to do my AP Gov and math homework, but I just can't. I dunno why, but I just couldn't do them. *shakes head*

I also had a MindCandy assignment where I'm sposed to drag out one of the sitch writings we did that were due on Friday to be a short story. Well, I think all of my sitch writings kinda suck and I can't think of any way to expand them into a 2-3 page short story. I'd much rather just start a new story, but alas. Can't do that. *sadface*

Anywho, I wrote up that ficlet I posted earlier, lol (yes, I should've been doing homework) and watched some Comedy Central stand-up. It wasn't really all that funny, imo, which is prolly why it was on at 1:00 in the afternoon, lol. I basically just wasted time watching mindless Disney shows (Suite Life on Deck is incredibly lame, btw) until Nick got home.

We chatted a little and he asked if I needed anything, but I was fine. Half an hour later, mom came home and we watched the Golden Globes together. It was decent! I'm bummed that House didn't win anything and that NPH was beat out by, I think, Tom Wilkinson(?). I thought Kate Winslet was really cute. <3 And I hate that people are put into categories where there's a dead person nominated.

For example, Tom Cruise AND RDjr. were nominated for Tropic Thunder, and I think they really deserved to win, but they were put in the same category with Heath Ledger and OF COURSE he's gonna win! It's just not fair to the other people! Of course if someone is dead, they're gonna win the award.

I would never wish that Heath didn't win, but I wish he wasn't even in the category and they just gave him the award and gave everyone else a chance to actually win. Moving on. OH! I saw a commercial for Important Things with Demetri Martin, which is a new series on Comedy Central! It premieres February 11th at 10:30PM! :D I'm STOKED for that!

I watched the Bio of Kiefer Sutherland with mom and dad, then we ate dinner. I must say, I think I'll always love Kiefer Sutherland. He's just such an awesome guy. <3 Title of this post is something I read here and is a quote from Bush (surprise, surprise). *shakes head* I gotta cut this short so I can watch 24, lol, but that's pretty much all that happened today anyway. X]

*These* Are Spirit Fingers...*These* Are Gold
Hola people!

Just got back from 27 Dresses. Twas decent. Not fantasmigorical, but enjoyable, lol. :] Plus, as I said earlier, James Marsden is INSANELY cute!

Listened to Demetri Martin in the car on the way back. My mom loves him now. He's totally hilarious. "Get well soon? Fuck that. Gell well NOW." We're gonna go see him sometime soon. So yay.

Now I'm watchin Bring It On on ABCFamily. Surprisingly, I fucking love this movie. It's so funny! "In cheerleading we throw people in the air, and fat people don't go as high." So f-ing great.

Jeez, I wish I had something to do. Technically, I have homework, but screw that. I don't wanna do homework. I'll say I'm gonna do it tomorrow, but I know I'll put it off til 9:00, and I'll struggle like crazy to get it done in time. It's just how I am, lol. ;]

Oh, hey, I promised Colbert clips, didn't I? Mkay, it's gonna take me some time to find the clips I'd like to post for y'all, so, expect those clips by...9:00 tonight. After all, I have tomorrow off (once again, I shall say, thank frank for dead historical figures), so I can spend a lotta time finding Colbert clips tonight. :]

And now, I shall end on a high-note; "Can you tell me what sound a strawberry makes?" No, sir. No, I can not.

Feelin Down and Dirty, Feelin Kinda Mean
Hola people!

Actually, quite contrary to the title of this blog, I'm feeling AMAZERING! I just found out that my uncle might not be coming over at all this weekend! YAY! :D

We interrupt this program to bring you a special message from our sponsers [no money involved in sponsering]:

"Feeling bored? Annoyed? Sick of stupid people? Then this site isn't for you! The "Blog" of "Unnecessary" Quotation Marks is all about people putting quotation marks where they don't belong (no, not 'where the sun don't shine'). It's funny, it's amusing, it's a hell of a lot of fun! So go there...now...I'm serious. [[http://www.quotation-marks.blogspot.com]]"

And now, back to your scheduled programming.

GLASS CONTAINER! It goes to the right of the pots and pans cubbard! Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

Last night, I watched Comedy Central Presents: Demetri Martin. I have it on DVD, but it's funny enough to watch over again. I loved it, and I love Demetri Martin, lol. Not in the same way I love Stephen Colbert, more in a "he's so hilariously awesome" kinda way, lol.

YES! CONFIRMED! I AM UNCLE-FREE THIS WEEKEND! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

"Don't come around here no more. HEY! Don't come around here no more!" Seems fitting. [^]

"Very good job with the bathroom...Jerk." A note from my brother. The first part's sincere, the second part's a joke. Nick (my bro) can also make up words like me. For example, "awesomenessocity," meaning insanely awesome.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are doin a Live concert on WOSU and they're pretty good, considering they haven't done a show together in 13 years, lol. Gotta love Tom Petty.

Oh, real quick, I wanted to touch on something strange going on on Facebook. The past coupla days, I've been talking to these two guys on Facebook. Steve and Chris. I don't know them in real life, lol, but they were super cooly and really sweet.

Steve messaged me last night and we talked for a while. I went to reply the next morning, and his profile was gone. It's like he never existed.

Then Chris messaged me this morning at 10:53 AM. I checked my inbox at 11:00 AM (seven minutes later), and his profile was gone as well. What's going on? Am I the only person slightly freaked out by this? Tis strange, indeed.

Well, I'm off to watch Monk and Forensic Files. I'll be back latah, though! Adios, dancing muchachos [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TL8YHc2TV5U]]!
