No, She's a Cat, She Doesn't Know What's Going On
Hello people!

I had a really long, complicated dream. I'll try to keep it short. Um, I had a dream that I was sitting outside of the house. The weird thing is that Nick and I were the only people living there...hmm. Anywho, I had my computer with me and I was gonna spend the afternoon writing. The skies were dark gray and I loved that environment. This really annoying girl I know in RL knocked on the front door.

She couldn't see me, since I was on the side of the house, but I could see her. I ran to the back door to get in the front door to lock it so RL girl would go away, but the back door was locked, so I couldn't get back in the house. Then it started pouring down rain. I ran to my computer and protected it from the rain as I went in the front door. RL girl took it upon herself to go ahead and go inside.

Nick was in the kitchen, and RL girl and a friend were in the living room, watching a horror movie. RL girl said, "Oh, hey, wanna watch the movie with us? We're almost done." I remember being super pissed off, then I woke up. Then I fell back asleep and had a dream about some minor celebrity, though I don't recall who, who was really cute and nice and flirting with me. We were gonna go out...

Then I woke up. Yeah. I actually had more stuff happening, but I don't remember it all. I knew I should've written it all down this morning. Shit. Anyway, um, dad got me up at 11:00 this morning. I watched Judge Karen and fed the kitten before getting to packing glasses and bowls and vases around noon. I packed til about 3:00, when Nick asked for my help packing the coat closet.

I helped him (aka, I did it for him) til dad got home from the store at 4:00. Nick has actually been very nice and funny today, and we had a great time hanging out. He and I even talked about his hair (how I think he'd look better with short hair and he's actually considering it! :D) and his clothes (how he likes to dress a certain way, but that his clothes don't define him...which is deep, for him).

It was really great to talk to him like that. He also mentioned off-handedly that he thinks Megan Fox is gorgeous and that she's his desktop background. At least he has good taste? I think Fox is gorgeous as well, lol. Nick made it known to mom and dad that he and I are getting the FOX-HOUND logo as a tattoo for his birthday (that's right, I get a tat for Nick's b-day, lol <3). I'm stoked! :]

I dunno if I explained this before, but Nick and I both want that as a tattoo cuz it's from Metal Gear Solid, which we not only both love intensely, but we bond over the first and second game, too, so it's very important to us. Nick brought up my going to college and how he's gonna miss me, and I said he wouldn't have to worry cuz I'll be stopping by all the time. Sometimes, he really is a great bro. <3

Moving on, I drew a couple more doodles earlier and put 'em up on deviantART. [1] Best Friends (Hal and Dave), [2] Boys in Love (Hal and Dave), and [3] my artist logo. Mom, dad and I got into a little tiff, yet again, about packing and now I'm in my room. They might be giving a friend of mom's a ride to Pataskala, which is way far away, so hopefully Nick and I will have a little parent-less downtime.

Um, yeah, that's about it. Title of this post is just something dad said about Celtic. I don't know the context, but I think it's more amusing sans context anyway. I'm gonna try to draw some more tonight, but I dunno if I can pull off anything good (or original, lol). I shall try, though. Speaking of creative expression, I really should write. Hmm. Maybe I'll do that instead...

Why Is There a Helicopter In the Background? ...It's My Stomach, I'm Hungry
Hello people!

I was up late again last night, playing MGS and helping Nick make pasta salad. Nick watched me play for a while, then dad demanded I do the dishes (at 1:00 in the morning), so I did those. I got up this morning at 8:40, when mom woke me up. My alarm was set for 9:00, but I forgot to tell her that, so oh well. I got dressed and got ready and played a little MGS before we left.

We went to mom's first appointment, but mom picked me up some hash browns from Burger King first (<3). Around noon, we went to pick up Celtic from the Rascals vet place. OMG I forgot to mention! We dropped her off there yesterday to have her spade and de-clawed and get her immunizations and suchwich. Anywho, we picked her up today and she's just as wily (sp?) as ever.

We headed right home after that and fed Celtic. I read my new book for a bit while mom talked to her new lawyer about the NY closing. At about 2:00, mom and I went back out to Sam's Club to fill my prescription for my birth control. We also picked up a couple random things (Zyrtec, wine) then went over to Wal*Mart to get baby food for Celtic and some facial scrub for me and mom.

We got the Clean and Clear acne system thingy, which I'm excited to start using. I got a fitted sheet for my bed for college, as well as some root beer and such. We came home after that and I went to my room to play more MGS. I got all the way to the REX battle again, but once again, even though I'm far better equipped than I was the first time, I can't beat REX. I'll ask Nick to do it later.

Oh, remember a while ago when I mentioned that I have summer work for college? I have to read that book, The World Without Us. Well, I read about fifteen pages of it and had to put it down cuz it's so goddamn boring. No offense to anyone who likes these kinds of books, but I am really completely uninterested in the environment and CO emissions and whatever.

It spent the first chapter talking about some tree that used to cover Europe but no longer does. Sorry, but that's what man does to nature. Let's move past it, please. I literally cannot get through this book, I'm gonna have to find Spark Notes or something. Maybe I can get mom to read it and tell me about it. She reads books really fast. I have to get it done to do my assignment.

Um, anywhoooo, I have two things to share with you guys, lol. Firstly, Toby Turner (you know, that amazing, awesome, kick-ass guy on YouTube who I'm a huge fan of and have a bit of a crush on) left me a comment on one of my older vids where I prompted my then-up-coming vid, "New Installment of 24." All I have to say is SQUEE, you guys, SQUEE.

OMGOMGOMG )

Also, you MGS fans (I know there are few of you on my flist, but ya know) prolly know about this already, but there's this thing on YouTube called Metal Gear Awesome. OH. AND. David Hayter (who voices Solid Snake) knows about Metal Gear Awesome and likes it! :D I find that endlessly cool. Title of this post came from the vid, lol. So, here ya go. X]

Your Face Is Pathetic. Yeah, Well Your Mom Is...Amazing...
Hello people!

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!

I don't really remember the dream I had last night, but I woke up at 10:30-ish this morning. I went out and said hi to mom and dad then went straight back to my room to watch some TV and get online. I kinda just chilled and killed time doing nothing today. I played some MGS1 and, uh...yeah, that's pretty much it. Today has been SUPER uneventful, surprisingly, lol.

Around 5:30, I went into Nick's room and watched him play MGS4 for a while, then we went back to my room and played MGS2. We had a delicious dinner of hot dogs, mini!hamburgers, cole slaw and tater crowns. YUMMY. That's about it, so I spam you with a video of hilarity involving Ryan Reynolds and Nathan Fillion when they were in Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place.

Title of this post is something Nick and I said to each other. Um, yeah. Hope you all had great days!

You Know What a Cow Bark Sounds Like, Dontcha?
Hello people!

Today was pretty awesome! :D FINALLY, lol.

I had a dream that I was in this class where we had to do this huge project with a cooler and paint and pictures and stuff. But my teacher wouldn't explain to me what I was sposed to do exactly, and I was getting really upset and pissed off. I started crying and the teacher just kept saying that I should just use paint and be creative. And everyone else in class was laughing at me.

Then I woke up. *shakes head* Stupid unconscious self. Dad came in my room and woke me up at 9:47 and said that he and mom were gonna go to some stores today, would I like to join them. I said of course and quickly got ready to go. Well, we didn't end up leaving til, like, 11:00. So, I got a bowl of Cheerios and played some Splinter Cell til teh rents and I left.

We first went to Starbucks, where I got myself a coffee and spent the last of my gift card that I got for my birthday. *sadface* Our next stop was Barnes&Noble. We were there for a good three or four hours! :D We finally planned out exactly what we're going to do with our new kitchen. I dunno if I said this before, but the house we bought is freaking RIDICULOUS.

And by that, I mean, it is one of the most poorly designed houses I have ever seen. The kitchen is one of the biggest problems, considering that we need to use it right away. So we're fixing that up first. I'll take pics and video of it before and after. Anywho, mom and dad got some design books and I found a bunch of books on sale and I still had money from yesterday, so I got 'em!

I got Traveler's Guide to Ancient Egypt, which has a shitload of info about life, buildings, and religion, The Serial Killers Club, which is about this guy who accidentally kills a guy who was sposed to kill him and via this now-dead-killer, he gets into this club of serial killers and plans to kill them all himself, and I got a new journal from the series of journals that I fucking LOVE.

They're made by this art school in Georgia and they are gorgeous. They're my fave, and this one was half off! <3 We went to Johnny Rocket's real quick after that and got some late lunch at 2:00. I got chicken fingers and they were delicious. OH, and "Respect" started playing and the whole staff of waiters/waitresses went to the middle of the restaurant and danced! <333

I love when restaurants do that. Have you guys ever heard of Kahunaville? It was in Connecticut (or maybe Massachusetts?) and the workers there danced to "Walk Like an Egyptian." So awesome. Um, yeah, so, moving on, we made a quick stop to Wal*Mart for some groceries and then our last stop was Target. Mom and dad found air conditioners for our new house.

Ya see, we don't have central heating or air conditioning. So, until we can set that shit up, we have to have individual air conditioners in each room. We bought three of those, and we found the absolute perfect mini!fridge for me for college. It's got a separate door for the freezer and this cute little soda caddy thing and a vegetable/fruit drawer and a freaking lock on the outside! :D

Unfortunately, the only one they had at the store was in bad shape, so we're gonna find a brand new one that hasn't been thrown around at a different store. And, it's made by Emerson, so I'm gonna name it Waldo. ;] Finally, we came home and watched Burn Notice. Tonight, The Next Food Network Star is on! I freaking love that show. And I love Jeff. He's sexy. ;]

Title of this post is something silly dad said in the car earlier. You had to be there, lol. Oh, gosh. RIP Billy Mays. I know a ton of people didn't like him, but, ya know, he's as much a part of my childhood as freaking Spongebob. I will remember Billy Mays for my whole life, man. What a loss to the pitchman world. :'( And the abundance of celebrity deaths lately is scaring the fuck out of me. *worried*

Asps...Very Dangerous...You Go First
Hello people!

Oh gosh, you guys. Today was terrible. Such an awful day.

Um, let's start from the beginning. I slept through it, but around 4:00 this morning, Nick discovered that a few bitches trashed our yard and driveway. They covered it in yoghurt and maxi pads (yes, fucking pads), TP'd our trees, covered mom and dad's cars in yoghurt and lipstick, and wrote swears and slandering statements against Nick in chalk all over the driveway.

Nick called the police, which is brilliant. I honestly don't think I would have been coherent enough to even think of that if that happened to me at 4:00 in the morning. He woke up mom and dad and they all went outside to talk to the police. Our neighbors across the street, who are wonderful people, said that they saw three girls with ski masks on, leaving our property.

Two of Nick's friends came over (he called them) to help clean up (how sweet is that? <3). Teh rents and bro cleaned up everything and went back to sleep. There was a note on the driveway in chalk that said, "Derf (his nickname), you should've said no." I don't know what that means, and Nick doesn't seem to, either, but these girls must've known Nick well if they called him "Derf."

I would just like to say that this stuff makes me hate the entire human race. How can anyone do something like that? No matter how much you hate someone, if you pull a stunt like that, you're not just hurting that one person, you're hurting their whole family. I can't even express to you how much acts like that make me so disgusted with people. I mean, teens think that's fucking funny.

Not all teens, of course, but at least half the ones I know in RL would find that hilarious. It's NOT amusing, it's NOT cool, it's hurtful and stupid and if it ever happens to me and I see who did it, I will hunt that person down and torture them. *breathes* So, I woke up at 9:30, when the power went off completely (causing my fan to stop running). I got up to find out what was going on.

Apparently, our electricity provider was doing a test and shut off EVERYTHING. Usually, if the power goes out, my iPod dock stays on (though I don't know how...) but it didn't this time. It was insane, guys, mom was trying to get ready to go (make-up, hair, etc.) and she had to light candles to do so! After about half an hour, the power came back on, so we finished getting ready and left.

Mom and I went to the vet place where she had to drop off some brochures, then we went to Sonic. Well, not only was the Sonic we were going to not open, but it was torn apart and the space was for sale. So, we decided to go to Burger King instead, which was less than fantastic, of course. Oh, so, we were going to go to Grove City next. It was about forty minutes away.

Mom had to take a left to get where she was going, but when she got up to her turn, the entire road was blocked off for a fair. Guys, this day has just been one stupid, shit thing after another. Crap like that happened all morning! So much bad stuff happened, I can't even remember everything, but it was ridiculous, like we were in a movie. Mom took me to get a coffee to cheer me up.

We dropped off some papers at the doctor's office so she could fill them out for my college (I forgot to bring them yesterday), then we went to mom's first appointment. I listened to music and slept for 40 minutes and then we came home. I watched some TV and played a little Splinter Cell (cuz seriously, I needed it, it's like therapy for me) and mom left for her next two appointments.

And that has been today. I am so done with this day, it's insane, people. I dunno how much longer I'm gonna stay awake, I'd like to just pretend today never happened. Um, something good is that I finished packing last night. Everything in my room is DONE. I feel so good about it, lol. I found out, though, that one of the supporting beams of my bed is broken in half.

My bed dips, and I never really understood why, I kinda just figured it was cuz I haven't flipped the mattress in a while or something. I really have no idea how the damn thing broke, but I'm not happy about it, lol. The good thing is, it should be pretty easy to replace, so I don't have to get a new frame or anything, lol. That's about it. Oh, yeah, and RIP Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson. :(

After I Blow a Hole In Somebody and Slip Around On Their Guts
Hello people!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! I was woken up at 9:00 today. I went right into the living room and said hi and whatnot to mom and dad. We were going to go out for a bit today, and teh rents were getting ready to leave just after I woke up, so I quickly got dressed and such and we headed out in the convertible. Our first stop was Target, which is always fun, I love that store.

I got a t-shirt (promoting Woodstock! :D) and we got brownie mix for dessert! MMM. We might skip dinner, in fact, and just eat the brownies, lol. Then we went to Wal*Mart and bopped around. We got some Starbucks ice cream (<3) and browsed the electronics, where we got the second season of Burn Notice (holy shit! $42! :O). We also picked up root beer, so YAY!

We headed to Blockbuster next to pick up Weeds and Gran Torino for teh rents. Then we went back home. We watched the biography of Steve Martin (on the Biography channel). It was great! I heard a rumor a while ago that Steve is very hard to work with (that he's very full of himself), but based on that biography, I really underestimated him; he's amazing.

And I think that rumor is only because, apparently, he's a little hard to get close to, but those are two different things, ya know. Title of this post is from one of his movies. So, anywho, now we're kinda just hanging out and snacking on whatever sounds good. Oh, and we're watching Burn Notice. <3 Oh, earlier today, I took some pics of Celtic cuz I know you guys wanted more of those.

Pondering the comparative values of art and science... )

Sorry they're kinda just of her face, but she has become such a wily, crazy, psychotic little creature and she never sits still anymore. I had no choice but to hold her as still as possible, lol. She freaks out if you hold her too long and tries to bite your face off. She's insane, lol. X] Okay, that's about it, I hope you guys all had great Father's Days!

You Like a Sensitive Guy? Yes...I Used to Be One
Hello people!

I had a dream that I was in a parking lot with mom, walking through snow and rain and slushy shit on the ground. We were walking out of a store, tons of bags in hand, and quickly scrabbled into the car. It was Christmas time (why do I keep dreaming about Christmas?). When I woke up at 9:00 today, I started singing a Christmas song ("What Child Is This?"...not even one of my faves).

It has been freezing lately (in the 60's, but the wind is brisk and chilly), maybe that's why I'm dreaming about Christmas. Ahem. So, uh, teh rents were gone at work, so I took a shower. Theeeen I fed Celtic and let him run around a bit. Teh rents opened all the windows this morning, cuz they love being freezing and don't give a crap how anyone ELSE feels about it. *huff*

It was ridiculously cold in the house, so I made myself a cup of hot chocolate. Then I did laundry, then the dishes, then I spent the next few hours watching The Nanny on YouTube. Title of this post is from an ep. Dad came home with Strawberry Yoghurt Cheerios, apples and grapes! :D I now have healthy food to eat, lol! And I've been working really hard to eat only three meals (max).

I haven't snacked, I'm trying to eat apples and peanut-butter for dessert, etc. I'm actually really excited about this! I feel so good about it! Okay, getting carried away, lol. Mom came home and had a few hours til her next appointment, so we decided to out for lunch. We went to Honeybaked Ham, which has AMAZING sandwiches. Before we left, I got the mail.

My report card came today! And OMG, guys, it's so great (for me, anyway, lol)! I got three A's and two B's! And my current GPA is a 3.8! That's the highest it's been since Freshman year, which is, admittedly, pathetic. BUT STILL! So glad! And mom almost started crying, she was so happy, lol. X] We went to Honeybaked Ham and I got a kickass sandwich.

It had turkey, bacon, lettuce, cheese and mayonaisse on delicious wheat (I think?) bread. YUMMY. I got water instead of soda, and afterwards, mom and dad said that my grades earned me ice cream, lol, so we went to the new Coldstone Creamery in the same plaza. I got chocolate ice cream with bits of Snickers mixed in in a regular waffle cone.

We went home after that, and I watched a few more eps of The Nanny, then I brought Celtic in my room to run around. I wound up laying on my bed with him next to me and we both fell right to sleep. His purring is as soothing as a fan for me. <3 Oh, speaking of Celtic, turns out "he" is probably a "she." Apparently, my parents misread what they saw and now they think it's a she.

So yeah. *facepalm* Anywho, um, I went with mom to her 4:00 appointment and rocked out to music for an hour and a half. When she was done, we went to NewGrounds Cafe and mom got me coffee! :D We headed home after that and now we're hanging out with Celtic and watching TV. This woman on Jeopardy looks a bit like Temperance Brennan...in the facial structure and whatnot.

Now, I give you the latest awesomeness from Toby Turner (<333).

When Did Jiffy-Pop Start Making Pants?
Hello people!

Oh, gosh, the dreams I had last night, guys. I dreamt that there was a nationally-declared Second Christmas. Like, mid-summer. Mom and dad got us a bunch of awesome stuff, but they had a candy/junk food stash in their room that we weren't sposed to touch. Nick distracted teh rents and I snuck out a TON of candy/junk food and put it in this book-shelf that was kinda built off of my headboard.

My room was, obviously, different; that set up I mentioned above was how my bed used to be when we lived in Connecticut. It was really cool. Anywho, I remember thinking that it was weird how quick mom and dad were able to get us presents. Then I was suddenly in this weird tent-like area where a program for young adults was being held. A friend and I had enlisted.

We were to be assigned rooms, and the hallways looked like hotel hallways, but the rooms looked like the inside of a tent...it's really hard to explain. But anyway, my friend and I got our room assignments and when this guy heard my name, he made some stupid joke. I mocked him for a second before scoffing and turning away to go find my room with my friend.

I remember looking at room 245 and thinking it was soooo tiny; it had three beds lined up next to each other which no floor space to walk on and nothing else in the room. I think my room was 241, but I'm not sure...there were three single beds and one double bed, with a little floor space to walk on. I claimed the double bed before my roommate (we each had one) could.

Turns out the guy who made a joke about my name was my roommate. When he made the joke, he had poofy, flowing red hair, but when he stepped in the tent/room, he had short, brown hair. He was actually kinda cute. I told him that I would, and I quote, "punish him" for what he said, but I winked at him (please connect those dots yourself, lol). An announcement was about to be made, so we hushed.

Then, I was suddenly at this charity event unlike any other. The event was that celebrities gathered in this HUGE church that didn't have a roof (it was basically just the pews and the walls) and were killed, row by row, and their money was given to charity. They knew full-well what was going to happen, but they didn't seem to care that much. I got mixed into the crowd and tried to get out.

I ran into Ellen (DeGeneres) and started talking to her. When celebrities were killed in this event, anything and everything they were known for was erased from existence somehow, so Ellen and I had to watch as her old show, Ellen, was erased. She had been crying and I started to cry until I was randomly outside the church and walking across a desert with some guy I didn't know.

He was dressed as a cowboy (but a really rugged, sexy one, lol). We stopped at a saloon that was more like a tiki bar (it was very open and was like a stand instead of a building) and I ordered a beer. The cups that the beer was poured into (we weren't given bottles) were shaped like mini-chairs and didn't really hold the beer well, so my cowboy buddy ordered a large chair.

A large chair was an ACTUAL chair. It was those fold-out chairs with canvas-type fabric that was slack enough for someone to sit in, ya know? S'hard to explain. Anywho, I tried to grab the bottle and drink straight from that, but the bartender wouldn't let me. He poured about half the bottle onto the chair and then put the bottle into the puddle of beer he'd just poured.

I tried again to drink from the bottle as my cowboy friend drank from the poured puddle. THEN, lol, Whoopi Goldberg ran up to us dressed in a (surprise, surprise) nun outfit (habit? is that what they're called?). She was saying something about the celebrity charity event and how we needed to help cuz something went horribly wrong (gee, ya think?) and then I woke up.

WHEW. If you made it through all that, applause for you! I woke up at noon and dad yelled at me. Grawr. I took my shower and watched TV and just chilled. I read all of your advice from last night's post, which I'm so grateful for, btw. Thanks for all the tips, you guys! YOU ROCK. <3 For a late lunch, I had an apple with peanut butter and it was super good, and filling!

Unfortunately, we're out of apples, so I asked dad to get some more. I played with Celtic a bit and did the dishes. Then I watched some TV. Around 3:30, mom came home and she and I made a business plan for this really awesome business idea we came up with a few days ago. I'm not sposed to talk about it, but we planned out a good amount of stuff and the plan is lookin' good.

Although, mom's super controlling and won't let me have it the way I want it, even though it was my idea in the first place. *shrugs* Oh, well, I'm not pushy and hate confrontation, so I'm not saying anything. Mooooving on. Title of this post is from an ep of What I Like About You. Let's see, what else...what else what else what else... Actually, think that's it, lol.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

You'll Counsel Him Wisely. I'm an Old Man; I'll Counsel Him Shortly
Hello people!

I had a dream that I was still in school (for gosh sake's, SELF, stop dreaming about school!). I was leaving MindCandy at noon, and dad was gonna pick me up and take me to Olive Garden. I dunno why, since he and I NEVER go to OG, but whatevs. I got side-tracked by some people and was five minutes late getting down to the front doors to meet up with dad.

By the time I got there, he was gone. I freaked out, but figured I should go back inside and try to call dad. I went to my next class, which was some kind of art class (I haven't taken a single art class since...seventh grade). The teacher was crazy and loopy and wouldn't let me call dad and said I had to take the final exam for the class. I explained that I'm a senior, but he wouldn't listen.

Once I finally got out, I got a hold of Nick and he said that dad took HIM to Olive Garden instead of me. That's even less likely to happen. And then I woke up. Blah, stupid dream. I woke up around 11:00 today and immediately took my shower. I was online for about half an hour before mom and dad told me were going to see Angels&Demons and we had to get going.

Holy monkeys, guys, let me tell you, Angels&Demons is fucking amazing. I have yet to read the book, though I fully intend to, but wow. The movie was so fantastic. And it's really gotten me interested in symbology. I'd like to study a bit of that in college, if possible. I also have developed a crush on Robert Langdon - not Tom Hanks, per se, but when he plays Langdon... <3

Ahem. Title of this post is from the movie. :] Um, yeah, so, then we went home and I got the mail and GUESS WHAT?!?! One of my John Lange books came! :D The Last Tomb! And it takes place in freaking Egypt! It could not be more meant to be, LOL. XD So, anywho, we watched a few episodes of Ellen and now we're chilling.

I posted some vids last night, just incase you guys didn't see 'em. There's one of Celtic, one of Sphinx, and one of a stupid ad. Oh, and mom gave The Nanny a chance last night, even though she hates Fran Drescher's voice. X] She said she'd give it another chance, too, cuz she came in about halfway through the episode. *LOVE* <3 *clears throat* And that's about it.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

P.S. OH HEY! I made a community for Sphinx and if you have any interest in it (*expects none*), please join! [info]sphinx_mummy [info]sphinx_mummy [info]sphinx_mummy [info]sphinx_mummy [info]sphinx_mummy
P.P.S. GUYS. NOM. PLEASE. Extended to another week since nobody has nom'd for these categories, yet.

We're Americans; We Don't Plan, We Do!
Hello people!

I know I had dreams last night, but I can't remember what they were about...grawr. I was woken up by mom at 11:00 today. Not bad, considering that I've been getting up at 8 and 9 almost every day for the past week. I was told (via yelling) to do the dishes, so I had to do those. Then I took a shower. Not long after that, Nick came home from his friend's house.

We had a late lunch around 1:00; I had two egg sandwiches with sausage and Nick had two burgers. Nick joined me in my room to watch me play Sphinx for a while and that was actually really fun. He's cool to hang out with sometimes. X] Then we decided to go see Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, which was playing at 2:40.

It was awesome. Hilarious and cute and awesome. I think I've developed a little crush on Ben Stiller, lol. He's kinda cute and he's fairly athletic/built and he's so funny...yeah, I like him a little, lol. X3 And Hank Azaria. OH GOSH, is there anything the man can't do? How adorable is he? Soooooooo adorable. And all the Egyptian stuff was so cool! :D Title of this post is from the movie.

After that, we came home and got into a fight and now Nick and I are hiding in our rooms and mom and dad are out in the living room. When something goes wrong, and by that I mean, when Nick or I get pissy over doing something or somesuch stupidity, Nick inevitably leaves the room. I stay to finish doing whatever I was sposed to do, and since Nick's gone, dad decides to yell at me.

He constantly does that; I'm always getting yelled at after Nick pisses dad off, even if I've done nothing. Even if I've just done something great and unexpected (like doing the dishes without being asked or something similar), I get yelled at because of something Nick did. It's hugely unfair and I really hate that dad does that, but I spose I won't have to deal with that for much longer.

That's really about it. Noms post number two for the TDS_RPS FanFic Awards is UP, so please go nom! I'm gonna go back to playing Sphinx and drown my sorrows in ice cream, lol. Ya know, and I hate to say this cuz it sounds like I'm asking for attention or something, but I feel like the more I write on here, the more futile and pointless it gets.

I feel like I'm not only boring you guys, but that this is a waste of my time, and I desperately don't wanna feel like that. Do you guys ever feel that way? How do you get over that feeling? I wrote about two pages of a new story last night and it felt so good. I'm gonna write some more tonight. P.S. The Nanny marathon was AWESOME last night. ;]

Hello people!

Gah, I feel stupid admitting this but I have to tell somebody, lol.

The Nanny recently came to Nick@Nite. I didn't want to like it, I really didn't. Fran Drescher's voice is incredibly annoying, but...

But she's kind of adorable and GOD Mr. Sheffield is so amazingly attractive and Niles, the butler, is fucking hilarious.

Gahhh. Stupid show being all funny and cute. Damn it.

I Really Need to Meme Somebody
Hello people!

Hand-made by my sweetest wifey, celli_puzzle. <3

Pick five of your role models.

1. Stephen Colbert
2. Jon Stewart
3. Kiefer Sutherland
4. Robert Downey Jr.
5. Bo Burnham

1. Why is 3 your role model?
He's gone through a lot but has (mostly) worked his life out and is successful and doing something he really loves. <3

2. Name a few similarities between you and 5.
We both make YouTube vids of ourselves singing...lol. We're both from New England.

3. What quality from 4 do you admire the most?
How much he has overcome and turned his life around completely. AMAZING.

4. How did you first find out about 2?
From my parents. They put The Daily Show on once in a hotel. I thought it was lame at the time, but I was only, like, 12, lol, so...

5. Why is 1 number 1?
Cuz he's Stephen, DUH. XD No, no, I think he's really put the work into his success. He's a very good man and very good at what he does.

6. Are there any people you know in RL/online who are like 2?
CELLI IS LIKE JON. <333

7. What do you think makes someone worthy of being a role model?
If they do something like come back from a life-destroying drug-addiction to become a successful actor (RDJ) or if they work incredibly hard to get where they are and are now super popular (Stephen and Jon), or if they've just had a lot of personal obstacles to overcome (Kiefer), OR, if they actually physically do something to become what they want (Bo). Being what you want to be makes you a role model.

I'm Brave, I'm a Brave President
Hello people!

OKAY, LONG, DETAILED, DRAWN-OUT DREAM TIME. Yet again. I think I might perhaps cut this one cuz these are getting ridiculous and you must be sick of hearing about my stupid meaningless dreams, lol. SO. ONWARD HO.

I wonder if my thinking about him before I went to sleep made me dream about him... )

I finished watching "Eye of the Killer" last night and whew! It was pretty good. Totally weird, but definitely good. And Jason Jones was in it! :D A small role, but still! Here, see for yourself, lol! I slept til 10:30 today, which is actually not an awful time to get up, so I was pleased with that. I spent the next couple of hours online, watched some TV, beat Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow for the millionth time. <3

At noon-ish, dad came home and picked me up to take me to the movies to meet up with mom so she and I could see MONSTERS VS ALIENS! :DDD Ahem. First, though, we stopped at Chick-Fil-A and got some lunch to bring into the theater. There were at least twenty or so, maybe more, little kids there, of course, but it actually wasn't that bad, or that crowded. And ZOMG. TEH MOVEH.

I loved it. I mean, I really loved it. It was fucking hilarious! The title of this post is something Stephen's character says, but it's in commercials I've seen, so I don't consider it a spoiler, lol. Not only was I laughing a lot (especially at Seth Rogen's parts, and I hate the guy, so that's saying something), but MOM was laughing, too! She LOVED it. To the point that she would see it again. And THAT'S saying something, LOL!

:D I'm so stoked that she loved it so much, and seriously, if you didn't see it today, you need to go see it ASAP, cuz it's hysterical. Everyone did a fantastic job and I'm so glad my men all did this movie. <333 *LOVES ON TEH BOYZ* If only Jon had had a part, that would've been absolutely perfect! Alas. Another time, another movie. We considered actually seeing it a second time today, but decided against it. X]

After the movie, mom had an appointment, so we went to that. Then, around 5:00, we went to Panera for dinner. Got the ushe, of course, sans the danish, though, cuz they didn't make those today. The coffee was superb, however. MMMMM. COFFEE. Following our food outing, we decided to stop by Payless (mom needed work shoes) and Target (just for fun).

I got some bitchin new flippy-floppies (XD). They're black and have flames and a skull on 'em! :D SO COOL. At Target, we got in the mood for fun stuff, so mom and I got some root beer, vanilla ice cream, some coffee breakfast bars, and some candy. We're gonna have root beer floats in a bit! Haven't had one of those in a long time, so I'm lookin' forward to that, hehe! <3

Then we came home. I think I'm gonna watch some 24 and do some homework I should've done a week ago, lol, and just chill the rest of the night. I still feel like playing a video game, but I already beat both Splinter Cells this week and I don't really have much else that I haven't already played a hundred bajillion times. *shrugs* Oh, well. Love me some shoutin', terrorist-shootin' Kiefer.

And then, tomorrow, I'm gonna catch up on Jon and Stephen and watch this past week's ep (and last ep of the season) of Important Things. Oh, speaking of Demetri, he's gonna be on Letterman tonight at 12:35 (obviously, if you watch Letterman, you know what time it starts, lol). AND, Dana Carvey's gonna be on Leno (at 11:35). But watch out; Billy Mays is gonna be on Leno, too. :O

I was watching YouTube, and I saw some videos of celebs being asked to sign autographs, and it kind of disgusted me. I mean, the celebs are totally gracious and nice about giving the autographs and taking pics with people, but it seems like all the fans are really rude. They just thrust their papers and pics in front of the celebs' faces and yell at them and call them by their first name and...I dunno. It just seems so incredibly rude.

Oh, goodness me, you know what I forgot? I got another college rejection letter today. This time from Bard, which is in New York. That one was a teeny bit more painful than Emerson, but still not too bad. And actually, the more I learn about Green Mountain College, the more I look forward to attending. I hope I don't get rejected by NYU, *KNOCK ON WOOD*, but even if that happens, at least I can go to GMC. <3

Ya know what really annoys me? When people don't read profiles. What's the point of filling in a profile if no one's gonna take the goddamn time to read it? Like it's THAT hard? Anywho. ENOUGH OF THAT. XD

Hello people!

Who (or what) do you consider to be your first love?

Ooh, what a fun question! :D My first love would have to be Kiefer Sutherland/24. I'm sure you're all sick of hearing about it by now, lol, but Kiefer started my man/show obsession. Freshman year, my parents hooked me on 24 and oh, man, I fell head-over-heels in love with Kiefer. When the show started to slip, I moved on to House, and so on, but now 24 is back and better than ever and I'm back in love with Kiefer and the show. <3

P.S. Yes, I'm that much of a loser that my first love is an actor/TV show, lol.

Not-So-Urgent Fangirl Bulletin: Rob Corddry Edition
Hello people!

Okay, so, earlier today, Rob Corddry said on his Twitter, "Sorry so silent today. Was at the grocery store watching the produce mister. Fucking FANTASTIC Saturday. The thunder sfx: overkill? Nope!"

I replied with, "
@robcorddry You are forgiven. But more so if you say "hi" to me in a reply tweet..."

Now, about three hours later, I got a DM (direct message, for you non-Tweeters) from Rob Corddry saying, "Hi." :DDD

Okay, I know it's just a "hi" and I know it's just on Twitter, BUT STILL. ROB CORDDRY SAID HI TO ME ON TWITTER!!!

LOOK. PROOF:

Why yes, yes I have. In order:

1) Paula Poundstone (comedian). Mom and I got tickets to a show she did in downtown Columbus and we got to meet her after the show, where I gave her a WristStrong bracelet! :D

2) Ralph Nader (politician). He was a special guest at Presidential Classroom the first time I went, in 2008. He was quite inspirational and, I think, much smarter and level-headed than people think.

3) Vern Yip (designer on TLC). He was at the Home and Garden Show last year and after listening to him speak, I got his autograph and told him my parents and I are big fans (and half!pitched Invisible Fence to him *facepalm*).

Hoping to add Jon and Stephen to the list when I go to NYC in June! :D

Did I Ever Tell You I Was Struck by Lightning Seven Times?
Hello people!

It was so hard to get to sleep last night. I was feeling incredibly depressed and kept breaking into tears. So, yes, I watched Kiki's Delivery Service again. I can't help it, that movie just makes me so happy. I watched all the way through to the very end, past the credits and such (which I hadn't done before) and noticed this time that it said, "In memory of Phil Hartman." That just sent me right back into tears. *shakes head*

Just real quick, Phil Hartman's death is another reason not to get married; incase you don't know, his wife went fucking insane and killed him, then killed herself. Anywho...super sad that he's gone, especially now (what with watching Kiki so much). Um. Yeah, so, I tried to get to sleep from 10:00 until 1:30, when I FINALLY succeeded.

Mom got me up at about 9:00 and I got online for a while. I read all of your comments on last night's post, and I wanted to thank you guys for all your help. I'm not gonna reply to all the comments cuz WHOA, there's a lot, LOL, but yeah, I read them all and, just, thank you all. <3 I watched some TV for a while til mom said it was time to go. We left around 11:00.

We listened to Viva La Vida again in the car and it made me quite happy. I really do love that CD. Then we got to Kenneth's, which is the hair place. It's a new salon we wanted to try out and it's LOVERLY. It's huge and beautiful and smells like hair products, lol. I love that smell. My stylist lady was Allison and she was supremely awesome.

We talked about writing and school and tattoos (she LOVES tattoos and even rec'd a new place for us to go! :D) and she was just really cool. I told her I wasn't really sure what I wanted but that I wanted it to look "rockerish" (and I felt like an utter dork saying, "Um, yeah, I want it to look rockerish."). But she did a great job, I think, and now I have bangs!

The picture I had in my head was developed into Katy Perry-style hair from the "Hot n Cold" video, which I found last night. I love that song, btw, lol. It came out kinda like that...maybe. Whatever, lol, I like it. X] After that, mom and I went to lunch at Panera down the street (the one I went to with Jen when she was in town a while ago). I got that sandwich I like and some coffee and it was GOOD.

We decided that we didn't wanna go home, so we went to see a movie. Most of the movies that we wanna see are ones that dad wants to see, too, and we always go together, so we looked at what was playing and figured we'd see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button cuz we knew that dad didn't wanna see it. Ugh, it was soooooooooooooo depressing.

It was decent, but definitely not my kind of movie. If you like romance movies, I think you'd prolly enjoy it, but it's very sad. Just keep that in mind. Especially the ending. *shakes head* There was a particularly funny thing, though: this old guy was kinda forgetful and he kept saying, "Did I ever tell you I was struck by lightning seven times?" And then he'd say one of the times he was struck, like, "Once, I was walkin' my dog."

And then it would cut to an old-timey-lookin' screen in black and white and absolutely silent and show a young guy walking his dog on a sunny day. Then out of the blue, he'd get struck by lightning and just go flailing to the ground or something. I know it sounds awful, lol, but it's ridiculously funny. XD Oh, and? I truly hate to admit it, but I'm beginning to like Brad Pitt. At one point, I found myself wanting to...well, do bad things to him, lol.

The movie's really long, too; it started at 1:00 and didn't end til, like, 3:30, 4:00-ish. We came home and chilled til dad got home, then mom had to go to an appointment. There's this throw blanket that mom wanted from Hobby Lobby, so dad and I went over there and picked it up. Guess what? It was 66% off! :D So we got it for $55, instead of the original $159.99! WHOOT WHOOT!

Then we came home, lol. Dad and I were watching the national news and they did a little memorial thing for people that died this year. It was so sad. They showed Tim Russert, Heath Ledger, Michael Crichton, Bernie Mac, Eartha Kitt (who died on Christmas day...) and a ton of other people. I cried, yet again. I just can't seem to stop crying, lol. *shakes head*

Um...that's about it. Cash Cab hasn't been on lately. What's up with that? It's sad, I miss Ben. <3
