We'd Like Permission to Search Your Pie
Hello people!

Last night, mom knocked on my door at 12:18 and said she couldn't sleep. She came in and we watched George Lopez for an hour, lol. She thought George was funny, but that the show isn't very good itself. *shrugs* At least she likes George! :D I went to sleep at 1:30 and didn't get up til 2:46 in the afternoon today. *shakes head* This entry will be short, lol, cuz I have done little to nothing today. XD

I hate that I slept so late, but I guess I needed the sleep or that wouldn't have happened. I took a shower, then mom and dad came home. They went to see Marley & Me (Nick backed out, surprise surprise) and got some groceries. They both said the movie was good, but I don't believe them, lol. Let's see. Then I did a load of laundry and took out my trash.

I watched last night's Monk (which I DVR'd cuz I didn't feel like watching it at the time). It was great! I LOVE Steve Zahn, so it was nice to see him, lol. And Monk was so sweet to him (...eventually, lol)! SO MUCH WIN. <3 Speaking of USA, Psych was pretty good last night. Silly, as usual, lol. And OOH! Shawn was talking to a dolphin in a secure area at night (he wasn't sposed to be there, don't ask, lol).

The dolphin started...squeaking?...making dolphin noises, lol, and Shawn was like, "Shhh! No! Pa does NOT love Fa!" And I was like, "OMFG. THAT'S FROM THAT THREAT DOWN I LOVE SO MUCH!" XD Excuse the crazy caps-lock. Anywho, I squee'd. This is why.

Cut because ComedyCentral's videos tend to glitch pages... )

Yeah, I freaking love that Threat Down. Moving on. I ate some toast and watched Monday's eps of TDS/TCR. They were GREAT. Jon was soooooo spot-on and the puppy thing AndyC did? SO ridiculous. I wonder how stupid he felt, lol. XD But it was cute, I admit that. And Stephen's hair? OMFG. I mean, OH MY FUCKING GOD. It was so beautiful. So fluffy and wonderful and sexy and I wanted to pet him and so much more.

Um...yeah. X] The show was pretty funny, of course. OH, and YAY Tek Jansen! :D Those are always hilarious. After that, I wanted to watch the Monk's Viewer's Choice marathon, so I caught a few eps of that. The title of this post is from one of the eps I've never seen before; one with Sharona (who I despise) where Monk helps his brother, Ambrose, solve a case about his neighbor. Twas a good one, lol.

Have I ever told you guys about my neighbor? I call him CIA Guy. He's practically never home and leaves at really weird times of day, that's why I call him CIA Guy, lol. Anyway, he just left his house...I wonder why. I don't recall seeing him come home, actually...gah, I wish I could watch this guy more, lol. That sounds really creepy, but it's interesting!

One time, he came home at 2:14 in the afternoon, stared at his tire for three minutes, went inside for four minutes, cleaned his dashboard with a wipe for three minutes, then left again! He was home for ten freaking minutes! I mean, it's so weird. And he's really cute, too, lol, so at least he's nice to look at when observing him...yeah, okay, I'm done now. Don't think I'm a freak, lol. :}

Oh, jeez, I sound so weird. *headdesk* ANYWHO. I gotta eat something, I feel light-headed...and slightly nauseous...? *shakes head* Sorry this is so late! It was hard to write.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

Is Ben Franklin Still Giving Einstein His Prostate Exam?
Hello people!

I don't feel super comfortable saying this but I feel it's relevant to my life, lol, so I'm gonna say it: I was visited by the bitchy red monster today (ya know, aunt flo, motha nature, etc.etc.). Can I just ask WTF women did to deserve such a terrible thing EVERY MONTH?! This is why I hate being a girl, lol. That sounds weird, but seriously. Guys have no fucking idea. NONE.

*sigh* I slept poorly last night. I woke up at 1:03 and fell back asleep eventually, but I felt like I was awake until 5:30. I can't explain it well, but while I was sleeping (I think), I totally felt like I was just laying there, awake. It was weird and suckish and I woke up tired, but I was also in a ridiculously good mood cuz it's teh LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL! MOOOOHAHAHA!

I wore my Santa hat to school today. X] Can ya tell I'm excited? I don't think you can, lol. We did nothing in photo and were given time to develop pics for fun if we wanted to, so I developed a few but they all came out kinda crappy. I guess it's good I'm not turning them in for anything, LOL! We just went over our review assignment that I totally didn't do in math.

Oh, okay, get this: I dunno bout you guys, but for some of our classes, we're allowed a note card during the exam, which is basically a cheat-sheet. Whatever we can fit on a note card, we can use. Pagnanelli (math teacher) said that we wouldn't have a note card, which makes sense to me since we're SENIORS and shouldn't still be using a note card on an exam.

Well, the whole class became enraged and yelled at Pagnanelli until he caved. Someone behind me was like, "How are we sposed to do this without a note card?" And I was getting really annoyed so I turned around and said, "You're not gonna get a note card in college." and she said, "But we're in high school." So I said, "Yeah, but we're seniors. If you can't take an exam without a note card by now, you're gonna fail."

I think everyone was angry with me for being so anti!note card, but I don't give a flying fadoodle. Note cards are just an excuse for everyone not to study. Maybe they should try actually attempting to KNOW something. *shakes head* ANYWHO. In AP Gov., we totally barely reviewed, lol, but we had a LOT of fun talking about "that's what she said" and all this dirty shit. It was just amusing as Hell.

Oh! And we discussed the Bush/shoe incident and how fast Bush's reflexes were when dodging the shoes, and I said, "Well, that's cuz he gets shoes thrown at him all the time, he's had practice." And the whole class burst out laughing which felt really good, lol; I never get laughs in that class, so it was kinda nice. :}

AND, Messick has these little Ben Franklin and Albert Einstein action figures on her desk. Henry set them up so that Ben's hand was on Albert's ass and Messick asked him why Ben was giving Einstein a prostate exam (that was Friday). Today, Henry looked around and asked the title of this post. I still think it's hysterical, lol.

We were completely done in forensics, so we just sat and did nothing today. Mrs. Culley gave us candy canes and our new schedules for the second half of the year. I've got Classical Mythology first period, which promises to be incredibly awesome. XD Although, it just occurred to me that it might be far away from math which is not good (photo is right down the hall from math)...whatever, lol, I'm lookin forward to it.

I also have American Lit fourth period to replace forensics, which...I dunno, I'm not really lookin forward to that at all. I've never really liked American authors much, I prefer the Brits, lol. But I need the credit, so I don't have a choice. MOVING ON. MindCandy was awesome; we pretty much just chilled. Nothing was awkward, thankfully. In fact, Tyler seemed much more laid back in class, which was fun! :D

I FINALLY finished my zine today, too. TIS COMPLETE. And it's loverly, so I'm glad it's all done and such. I had to get Teacher Evaluations for my college applications, so I left class a little early to go visit two of my old teachers; Mr. Fout (science teacher) and Mr. DeChant (creative writing teacher). I went to Fout first cuz he was closer.

I really, really love Mr. Fout. Everyone thinks he's a druggie (I really don't know why), but he's funny and cool and ridiculously cute, imo, so yeah, I really love him, lol. When I went into his trailer (yes, he has a trailer class *shakes head*), he immediately said, "Nice hat." which made me giggle. X} And he was really nice about it and it didn't take too long, thankfully. I get nervous around teachers, lol.

Then I went to see DeChant and he was great. He was like, "HEY!" when I walked in and I told him what I needed him to do. Last year, he filled out all these recommendations for me for a few things I wanted to do. So when I told him about the eval., he was like, "Am I doing this cuz I was the evaluator last year?" And I laughed and was like, "No, no, it's cuz you were my creative writing teacher and that's my major."

And he said, "Miranda Doerfler, I haven't seen you since last year, no hello, no nothing, and now you want me to fill something ELSE out for you?!" XD He's so silly. I think I realized today how much I missed him as my teacher. He's really fun. I'm gonna have to go see him again before the year's end. So, yeah, I left and he wished me a Merry Christmas and I said thanks, you too and that was that. <3

Mom picked me up and I was informed that we were taking Tyrone to the doctor today. I was relieved but scared at the same time. Ya know, I want him to get better, but I love him a lot and it's hard for me to leave him with someone else, especially when I don't even KNOW that person. *sigh* Mom had me take him in, though, so I got to meet the guy who'd be working on him and he was very very nice.

AND, GUESS WHAT?! Dad told me when he got home that the guy (his name is Brian) called him and said that Tyrone has not only frozen since Brian got him, but he seems to be running smoothly. And Brian totally backed up my files so they're all safe and whatnot. AND, he should be all better by tomorrow afternoon! :DDD BEST. CHRISTMAS GIFT. EVER. <333

When I got home, I went to my room to study for half an hour, then fell asleep for three hours, LOL. XD It was completely unintentional, but OHH, it was wonderful. I needed teh sleep. I need more, lol, but I can do that in five days. ;] And now, here we are. Oh, I've been craving Cherry Coke since last Wednesday, but the stores didn't have any. UNTIL TODAY. Dad got TWO BOTTLES! YAYZ!

Ya know, I was gonna babble about how hysterical the Christmas eps of George Lopez I saw last night (on Nick@Nite) were, but I've been rambling through this entire post and it's RIDICULOUSLY long, so I'll stop now, lol. :}

I Wouldn't Wanna Bore You...S'alright, Go Ahead
Hello people!

Got a couple random things to say.

[1] Mom is so weird. She literally got legitimately pissed off cuz she thinks Heroes is utterly confusing. Which it is, but I happen to LOVE the show. Mom hates it. *shrugs* She, like, went off on the TV, swearing and saying how "fucking stupid" it was cuz she didn't understand what was going on. It was so strange, lol. Maybe she's just a tad insecure cuz she doesn't understand it and that makes her feel stupid? I dunno.

[2] If I ever have any scars in the future, they will all be from shaving my legs. I shaved today (prolly a little TMI), and I cut myself three fucking times! Whoever's idea it was to give me a razor needs a slap in the face. I can't believe how much I cut myself, you'd think I was suicidal or something, LOL (I'm totally not, btw).

[3] Carmen, on George Lopez, is one of the best examples of why I don't care about relationships. Like, at all. All she is concerned with is having a boyfriend and being dependent on a guy. And what happens to her all the time? She gets hurt. AND, she has incredibly low self-esteem. It's better to harden yourself a bit and be more independent; you succeed easier than if you have to worry about a guy.

[4] On Two and a Half Men tonight, Charlie's girlfriend tried to change him drastically. She made him stop drinking, smoking, eating meat, gambling, and changed his wardrobe. It pissed me off; I hate that!

First, I hate it when women are portrayed on TV as doing that all the time. I would never EVER do that. Second, I hate when women actually DO try to do that. We are attracted to other people because of who they are, not who we can change them into. It's both offensive AND annoying. *headdesk*

I think that's it. Just...hypothesizing on life, I spose.

Doesn't Matter, Cuz Whatever It Is, He's Gay

Hello people!

Gah, today was so mucho fun. My rents and I went to Freeport, Bath, and...someplace else that I can't remember right now, lol. But they were all really great.

We went to eat first, at this Italian-esque place called the Azure Cafe. It was okay. Their sauce was chunky, and I *hate* chunky sauce (I can't have tomato pieces in my sauce - my mom makes it totally smooth), but the chicken was good. And my rents' meals were good, too (meatball sandwich and a fish dish, I think?).

Next, we bopped around a few shops. We went to this one called Leapin' Lizards, and it had all this Wiccan type stuff and Bhuddist stuff and, ya know, that kinda store? Incense and whatnot. Whilst in there, we found this AMAZERING Egyptian muzak CD that I'm totally in love with. It's windiferous. If you've ever played the game Sphinx, for the PS2, it's that kind of music, which I'm completely enamored with. It's just relaxing and awesome. <3

Then, we went to a store where I got a Stewart/Colbert 2008 sticker AND magnet (*FTW*), and my mom bought me some pajama pants from there, too. We headed back to the car, but stopped at the Starbucks along the way to get some drinks real quick. We drove to the Lindt Chocolate store (bestdamnchocolateEVER), where they were having a SALE, so we bought, like, eight bags of truffles, some chocolate bars, and my mom got a cookbook.

We also went to Harry & David's and got some chocolate-covered strawberries (with a thin, pink, candy coating on the outside; WAY delicious) and some English Toffee caramel balls (ha! ha! ha! balls). We drove around Bath for a bit, which is really more of a chain-store town (Wal*Mart, Lowes, etc.), then went "home."

ZOMG, we went to this awesome bread shop, too, after going to the Lindt Chocolate store, and we got this crunchy (but DELICIOUS) French bread. *GUH* I can't begin to tell you how amazering it is. Especially with some extra sharp cheddar cheese. *LOVES*

Anywho, we had some bread, cheese, and sandwiches for dinner and we watched Cash Cab! :D Then, we found Jeopardy, so we watched that, too, aas well as Two and a Half Men. Um...then I played 24: The Game, which is supremely fun.

I kinda just realized how much I don't wanna leave here. I mean, I *really* don't wanna go back to Ohio. I love my friends there, I really do, but this place is just home to me. New England is home. Ohio is *so* not. It's just not where I belong. I've lived most of my life here. I need to be back here, where there's scenery and nice people and TREES. *sigh* Two more years. I can do it...no I can't...

Holy shit, it was hot today. And still is. I hate heat so much. Why do you think I'm partial to New England? It's usually not very hot here (like, maybe 80's, very rarely is it 90 degrees or higher). But jeez, today was a "scotcher," as they say it here (they don't really enunciate their "R's," lol). It was, like, 89 degrees, and supre humid, which was awful. And it was sposed to rain, but it never did! :'( I hope it rains tonight. That would be made of win.

My parents have been saying "made of win" and "epic fail" and "your face" a lot lately, lol, and it's all cuz of my bro and me! WHOO! We've gotten them to speak awesomely. XD

The title of this post is from a George Lopez ep that was on tonight. I wasn't really watching it, but it was on the TV downstairs, and I heard him say, "Does he touch you? Does he talk to you? Doesn't matter, cuz whatever it is, he's gay." I just thought it was funny.

I'm dedicated to making myself write something tonight. Even if it's total shit, I need to write something. And that's what I shall do. Oh, and? I want all bugs to die. Like, now.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

Coffee'll Look at You and Say, "Damn!"

Hello people!

I was so dog-tired (what does that term even mean, really?) today. I actually slept for about an hour at 4:00-ish this afternoon, then came out to the living room and fell asleep in my chair for another half hour or so. And after all that, I'm still tired. *sighs*

Anywho...Math today was okay. Rachel taught me what I needed to know to do the unit circle stuff, which I totally forgot from last year. But now I get it and s'all good. Chem, we took that test today, and I actually think I did alright. Although, now that I say that, I'll prolly have a terrible grade on it, lol.

AP Euro was divided into two groups today: one was to study for the exam on Thursday, the other (where I was) was just to chill and have a work period. But even when we whispered to have a little conversation, we got yelled at. That was kinda annoying. But I chatted with Jen anyway and read my book, so that was good.

In German, we played a game that requires too much explanation, lol. It was fun! :] AND WE WON! HELLS YEAH! Brit Lit, we had *dun-dun-dun* THE LATIN LADY *frightened scream*! S'all good, though, cuz we just watched some more My Fair Lady, which is surprisingly good. It's rather amusing. I think we'll buy it somewhere.

Creative Writing was a work day, but OMG, I'm so nervous for that presentation on Thursday...I really don't think I can do it...luckily, I'm not first or last (I can't be either; they both put one on the spot), so that's good. But still. *shudders* Oh! I got my copycat story back today, and got a 70/70! And I wrote a not to Mr. DeChant (CW teacher) saying that I knew the story ended abruptly, but that's because with the complicated plot-line, I couldn't see it ending in 5-7 pages (minimum). So he wrote in reply, "Is this going to be a novel? Keep me updated!" XD *YAY* for compliments, lol!

So, yeah, when I got home, as I said earlier, I slept. It was lovely. There's really very little that's nicer than napping in the afternoon. I'm gonna do that a lot more when I'm older. It's a great feeling. Then, I read a fanfic or two and chilled with my rents. American Idol tonight was decent-ish. I think they could've chosen some better songs, but David Cook did a good job (as usual).

Gah! Hell's Kitchen was good tonight! I *hate* Matt and really want him to go him, but now he's on the girl's team, which SUCKS. OH, this party planner guy came in cuz they were serving dinner to a Sweet 16 Party, and they had to decorate the restaurant, and the planner was (FLAMING) gay, and he said, "We're gonna make everything *sparklicious*!" *shakes head*

The school paper ran an article called, "Point, Counter Point - Is God Real?" It was supposed to show two POVs: one supporting God/religion, and one supporting Atheism. The first one was terrible. It pretty much called Atheists evil. So I wrote to the paper, hoping they'd re-think the shit they print.

The title of this post is from George Lopez. His daughter, Carmen did something bad, and he said, "You're so grounded, coffee'll look at you and say, 'DAMN!'" I thought it was rather amusing, lol.

I've gotta go do my homework (*teehee*) and then head off to bed. I know I had more to say today, but every valuable thought has left my head. Therefore...

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*
