Do You Think You Are More "Kiss Kiss" or "Bang Bang"?

Hello people!

Got up at 11:00 today. Blech. I did the dishes and looked up classes at BGSU (not by choice). Let me tell you, they've got some awesome classes, and thus far, I believe they're the only college I've looked at that has a Pop Culture class, which would be AWESOME. *shrugs*

Let's see...mom and dad went out for most of the day and I spent a few hours online. I also watched the latest episode of Factory. It was pretty funny, especially the blooper-esque take at the very end with Gary (Mitch's character) sponge-bathing Smitty (David's character). QUITE amusing, lol.

I also watched the episode of Law and Order where Stephen (yes, Colbert) was a guest star. He was the killer, of course. Firstly, he was amazing (as expected). And he looked super cute, so, yeah. His hair looked great, too. /fangirling. Secondly, I don't get how people can watch that show. It sucks ass. MAJORLY. Surrsly, the acting is so terrible and...it's just really stupid. I fast-forwarded through half the episode, to be honest.

I wanted to try out Medal of Honor: Frontline today, so I set up the PS2 in my room and got started. The beginning is D-Day, and you're on the beach and have to infiltrate the German forces. I remember how hard it was for my dad and brother when we first got the game. Anywho, I eventually got through it and it's pretty fun.

But, at one point, you are in this building with dug-out cave-esque areas and it's really dark and you can't really see where you're going. I got lost and started spinning around and frantically trying to find where I'm sposed to go, and during that time, I, myself, became over-heated and light-headed. I think I got motion sickness from watching the video game screen spin around so much. *shakes head at self* So I stopped playing and laid down.

Yeah, I've been feeling kinda nauseous today. Guh. Um...you guys prolly don't know that last year, my grandpa was killed in a car "accident" that was definitely not his fault. It's taken a year to get things going towards court, and the guy that did it is saying he's not to blame. Anywho, we got a letter today that said that after getting an oral report from the guy about what happened at the scene, the lawyers believe it plausible they the guy is liable. So, we have to gather up pictures, letters, etc. so the lawyers can figure out what kind of person my grandpa was.

None of us really wanna do this, cuz it's gonna be kinda emotional, but we have to. They asked each of the family members to write down what Grandpa D. meant to us, for character building, ya know. I got mine done already, and my bro's working on his. The big thing here is that my dad is not gonna handle this well at all. He doesn't really get emotional very much, but this is something that upsets him a lot (of course), so it's gonna be hard.

The title of this post is from this interview between Val Kilmer and Robert Downey Jr. on Moviefone: Unscripted for their movie, "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang." I haven't seen the movie yet, but I intend to. Anywho, I spotted the video and thought it would be funny (especially since I've started liking RDjr., now), so I watched it. ZOMG, it's awesome. At one point, they're talking about how foreign reporters asked them, "Do you think you are more 'kiss kiss' or 'bang bang'?" I thought it was funny. X] And, they have amazering chemistry. SO, for your viewing pleasure...

Dudes, did you hear what Robert Novak did? He hit-and-ran a 66-year-old pedestrian in D.C. this morning! The guy is okay, just had minor injuries, but Novak slammed into him and then drove away. Novak said that he didn't see the guy, but witnesses have said that the guy was momentarily splayed across Novak's windsheild before Novak drove off. I'm sorry, but this story made me laugh. What kinda douche would slam into a guy, drive off, then claim he didn't see the guy? At least he got cited, though I think he should've gotten worse.

Hmm...oh! Okay, so "Mitch Rouse" added me on Facebook a couple weeks ago and messaged me saying this: "Miranda - Mitch Rouse here. Someone, told someone, who told someone, who told me - that I should write you and say "hello". So I'm writing you to say hello. - Hope you're well. -- Mitch"

I thought it was funny and cool, so I added him and replied. Then I didn't hear anything from him until today, when he messaged me saying: "Hey Miranda - someone just sent me this link - and since you're such a Colbert fan I thought you might enjoy it. http://picasaweb.google.com/JimScott415/Exit57Photos -- Mitch"

Mitch is super cooly and really nice, so if you guys have Facebook accounts, I suggest adding him. <3 Wife Swap is on tonight, which I'm *super* excited about. I know the show's stupid, but I love it, lol! XD

I wanna make a mood theme, but it looks unbelievably difficult. So, two things: [1] if anyone's willing to answer questions I have, that'd be great! :] and [2] how does one *use* a mood theme? I'm not sure how to do that...

We're the CIA; When We Do It, It's Ethical

Hello people!

I woke up singing the "Oshikuru" theme song from Two and a Half Men last night. And it will not get outta my head. Not that that's really a bad thing, it's a catchy tune. Speaking of waking up, I got up at 11:00 today! :O I had to do the dishes and vacuum (sp?), but I got that done pretty fast.

Once I was done with that shtuffs, I spent most of my day online. Oh, after seeing a lotta people advertise Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, I checked it out myself. OMG, it's awesome. I love the first song he sings about the laundromat and Penny. It's surrsly one of the best songs ever, lol. <3

I played a bit of The Sims2 and helped mom with dinner and that was pretty much my day. Well, no, I also recorded "Oshikuru" onto my cell phone, along with the Codec ring from Metal Gear Solid and a sound byte of Stephen speaking Italian (video available on my MySpace [it's the last one on the left], NFZ, and Comedy Central.com), cuz holy shit, Italian has never sounded so wonderful as when Stephen spoke it.

The title of this post is from the Get Smart spin-off, "Bruce and Lloyd's Out of Control." My parents rented it, then returned it and I really didn't have that much interest in seeing it, so I skipped out. I came to find yesterday(?) that Mitch Rouse was in it through fenellaevangela (thanks, btw!), so I found a place to download the movie and I watched it just to see Mitch.

The movie was okay, I wasn't able to download the ending, but I really kinda just skipped to the parts with Mitch (he was pretty funny, btw). Anywho, Mitch plays a CIA guy and his buddy says something to the effect of, "Isn't that unethical?" and Mitch replies, "We're the CIA; when we do it, it's ethical." X] Silly Mitch.

OMG, yesterday, I was checking Yahoo! News and it said that Nancy Pelosi called Bush a total failure as a President. I've never liked Pelosi much (let's face it, she's creepy as Hell, plus, she dissed Stephen's show [THE BITCH]), but I love that she called Bush a failure, lol. It struck me as hilarious when I read it. Cuz it's so true! :D Don't try to argue with me; you will not win, cuz I refuse to change my mind: Bush is a failure.

Guess what?! Today is the SIX MONTH ANNIVERSARY of my blog's existence! :D WHOOOOOOOOO! *streamers fall, balloons fall, music plays* I'm so excited that it's lasted this long. It could not have happened without you guys, so thanks so much for being my friends and reading my blog as often as possible, lol! *gives you cookies*

I'm going with mom to see "When Harry Met Sally" at the Ohio Theater downtown, so that should be pretty fun (except for the orgasm scene...yeah, I'll just look away then). We might even get coffee afterwards, which would rock, lol. AND, Monk and Psych both premiere on USA tonight (Monk @ 9:00, Psych @ 10:00)! Today is AWESOME!

Allow Me To...Kellistrate...

Hello people!

I decided to post a little early cuz I think I'll forget later tonight. I've got a lotta TV to watch, LOL.

First, lemme say: a new show, "Factory," premieres on SPIKE tonight and it stars David Pasquesi (Stew from Strangers With Candy) and Mitch Rouse (the cop in SWC, as well as working with Stephen, Paul, and Amy on Exit 57). It looks hilarious. Kinda gross and stupid, but hilarious. I'm excited to see it.

Second, Family Matters starts on Nick @ Nite tonight and I could not BE more excited! I *love* Family Matters and used to watch it all the time on ABC Family (til they took it off). So, now, I get to see it from the start! WHOO!

Moving on, not much happened today. I got up relatively late (YAY) and invited one of my RL friends, Deidre, to go see The Love Guru with me (cuz let's face it, I'm freakishly desperate to see it and I couldn't rely on Adam to respond anymore, lol). After some texting and her checking with her mom, she accepted, and...

GAH I FINALLY SAW THE LOVE GURU! I loved it. It was obviously retarded (come on, of course it's gonna be stupid), but Stephen was PERFECTION. He was so funny and adorkable and splendiferous and *love him*. Although, I've seen two commercials where he says two different lines, and neither one of those lines was in the movie.

"That's gonna knock some change outta his coin purse" wasn't in there, nor was "Not unlike when I was pulled off that hooker during my intervention...*chuckle*...good times." And I *love* the latter statement, so I'm bummed it wasn't in there. But, um, the title of this post is one of the things his character, Jay Kell, says. *points to icon* That's him (um, DUH).

Ya know how football commentators circle stuff on a computer-esque screen and illustrate plays or whatever during a game? "Jay Kell" did that for the hockey games, hence his saying, "Allow me to Kellistrate" (that's what he called it, lol). And it was hilariously inappropriate. And I was actually kinda surprised at how appropriate it seemed for Jim Gaffigan to be a commentator, but he did a really great job. I could honestly picture him being a sports commentator.

Also, Mike Myers (as the Guru Pitka, DUH) sang "More Than Words" by Extreme, which I really love. I dunno why, cuz that song is really...well, kinda gay-sounding. But I totally love it. And Mike isn't a terrible singer, so it was enjoyable, lol.

And dudes! I saw Jen, Kate, Sam, Josie, and someone else, I think, lol, at the movies today! I went with Deidre, as I said earlier, and we were walking up to the line out in front of the theater. And all of a sudden, someone shouted, "MIRANDA!" And I looked around and was like, "WTF?" and Deidre said, "Someone just shouted your name." Then I saw Kate and Jen and I was like, "ZOMG! HIYA!" XD I didn't, of course, say, "ZOMG," but you know what I mean. So that was pretty cooly.

Time for picspamming you guys! Now, I know what you're thinking, and no, this is not the challenge I issued to you guys (btw, have you done that yet? DO IT). This is a bunch of random pics from Powell Fest: Mean Bean Cafe1, Mean Bean Cafe2, Mean Bean Cafe3, Mean Bean Cafe4, Drinks, Big-Head Guy1, Big-Head Guy2, Iggle the Eagle, Quotes1, Quotes2, Quotes3, Super Blow-Pop, Storm1, Storm2, Storm3, Storm4.

ZOMG, my dad had this dollar, and I felt so bad for it. One of it's ends is ripped off and it was torn in half and taped back together. I wanted to fix the dollar, but I can't. :'( Here's a pic so you can share in my pity for the dollar. XD

I found this creepy pic of McCain at a Latino speech the other day and it's really funny, but yeah, creepy. I felt the need to share it, LOL.

Guess what? It's PUSHINGAROCK's BIRTHDAY! YAY! *huggles pushingarock* Hope you had a great day, hun. You're a total sweetie and one of my favorite people EVER! <3

I think that's about it...um...I'll report on Next Food Network Star and Design Star tomorrow. Lotsa links in this post. YAY. X] That should keep you guys occupied for a while, LOL.

Oh, I have a question for my fellow Stewart and Colbert fans: what would be something that they could do on their shows that would probably get them in trouble with the network? It's for a fic and I can't think of anything right now. Just, if you could pitch me some ideas, that'd be awesome.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*
