Hello people!
Last night, mom, dad and I were kinda randomly talking about
Loretta Devine, who is fantastically awesome. When I went to bed, I had a dream with Loretta in it, lol; she was on a new TV show, as was I. It was like a mixture of
24 and
Fringe. I was working with a team of about five or six, and we were either in an office building, at a college, or at a restaurant, I don't recall which one, lol.
The dream was happening like a TV show. Ya know what I mean? Like, it was like my dream
was a TV show and I was watching it in my sleep. Anywho, my team and I split up so we could find what we were after; a biohazardous material that was kinda like Mercury in that it was a liquid metal but it turned into small, solid, silver balls (HAHA BALLS) when exposed to air and evaporated into a clear, poisonous gas.
When exposed to blood, it stopped the poisonous reaction and it just formed those tiny silver metal balls in the blood. So, I found these two pieces of tin foil sitting on a small bookshelf in an office, and Loretta was playing a character, of course, and was asking what she could do to help. I opened the tin foil pouches, which were folded shut, and saw the biohazardous material. It started forming into silver balls.
Some kind of orangey-brown liquid substance that looked like rust began to bubble around the silver balls and I freaked out cuz I knew that's what happened when it was about to evaporate. Loretta said, "Does blood stop it from evaporating?" and I nodded hesitantly. Then, she grabbed a paperclip (yes, a paperclip), un-bent it so it was a straight line, and slit a line in her palm.
She grabbed the biohazardous material and held it in her hand as blood came up and covered it, and it stopped bubbling and just sat there. I remember feeling relieved, then the camera went to focus on the other members of my team, who were searching for the material outside of whatever building we were checking out, and then I woke up. It was SO WEIRD. But I think I can use it for a story! :D
Moving on. We took some notes in myth today. Pretty boring stuff. In math, we re-re-learned a lesson we were taught on Friday but are just starting to understand today, lol. *shakes head* Yeah, our teacher isn't super fantastic at his job...or the subject is just ridiculously confusing. Um. We discussed civil rights in AP Gov. today. We focused mostly on religion in school, which was SUPER fun.
Messick has this thing where she's afraid that, when she talks about religion in school, Atheists will come after her and yell at her or whatever. And it's kinda laughable, but it's also kind of annoying, as I'm an Atheist (uh, duh) and I think she's perpetuating an image that Atheists are all angry and such-which. I happen to LOVE talking about religion and school, it's a seriously interesting topic!
Whatevski. In AmLit, we watched some more of "A River Runs Through It." I still don't like it, lol. BORING. And finally, in MindCandy, we were assigned a project with basically no bounds or limitations, except that we have to include writing, art, and use of a computer. I decided to make a parody song video like those Colbert and
24 ones. :D I'm excited but nervous, lol. I hope it comes out okay
(that's what she said).
What should I write about, though? And what song should I use? I thought maybe I could write about MindCandy, but it's kinda hard to do that...maybe I could make it more general? Like, just about writing and art? I dunno. And I have no idea what song I can use. It'd be best if it's a song that's not super up-beat or something so it doesn't have to have the music with it, lol, ya know? Wow, I suck at explaining things.
AHEM. I couldn't get picked up today, so I chilled outside and played Splinter Cell on my PSP. Oh, I got a text from this random number saying, "Hey you." and I was like, "Um, hi, who's this?" and they said, "Ryan." I don't know a Ryan, so I said, "Ryan who?" He replied saying that he was sorry, he must have the wrong number, who is this? I told him and he apologized again.
We ended up getting into a fairly extensive conversation. Apparently, we share a lot of the same interests and he sounds fairly cute. By the end of the conversation, he was asking if I wanted to meet up. I'm really not sure what to do. He's nice and funny and I don't wanna be rude but I don't even know the guy and you all know I'm totally not the social type and I've never been on a date and I have no idea what to do.
Advice, please? You guys are super smart and I trust your judgement. I caught the bus home and listened to Lonely Island all the way. "Punch You In the Jeans" is officially my fave. Nick asked me what I was listening to when we got home, and I told him, and he said, "Have you heard...uh...their most popular song?" Obviously, he was talking about "Jizz in My Pants," lol.
I said, "Of course! Have you heard, 'I'm On a Boat'?" and he said yes and I asked if he'd heard Sax Man, cuz he loves Jack Black, and he said no, so I told him he HAD to listen to it. He said he's downloading Incredibad tonight. I'M EXCITED. Maybe we can share laughs over Lonely Island? I mean, I know they're inappropriate, but I'm 18 and he's gonna be 17 in July, it's not like we haven't heard it all before. X]
OH. Cecil told us that when he was in high school, he used to go to this awesome cave that had natural bench-like rocks in it where he would sit, light candles and read. Is that not the coolest thing EVER? I wish I had a cave to go light candles and read in. That would be SCHAWEET. He also said that he used to sneak into apartment complexes and read in their hot tubs at night, LOL, hence tonight's title. <3
Are you guys watching
Castle with Nathan Fillion? It's hilarious and kinda inspiring. I mean, it's getting me wanting to write murder stories, which is great, since that's my genre, lol. I hope it'll work like Teh Muse (
shoebox_addict) does for fanfics. ;] Oh, and Happy St. Patrick's Day. X]
Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*
