Your Face Is Pathetic. Yeah, Well Your Mom Is...Amazing...
Hello people!

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!

I don't really remember the dream I had last night, but I woke up at 10:30-ish this morning. I went out and said hi to mom and dad then went straight back to my room to watch some TV and get online. I kinda just chilled and killed time doing nothing today. I played some MGS1 and, uh...yeah, that's pretty much it. Today has been SUPER uneventful, surprisingly, lol.

Around 5:30, I went into Nick's room and watched him play MGS4 for a while, then we went back to my room and played MGS2. We had a delicious dinner of hot dogs, mini!hamburgers, cole slaw and tater crowns. YUMMY. That's about it, so I spam you with a video of hilarity involving Ryan Reynolds and Nathan Fillion when they were in Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place.

Title of this post is something Nick and I said to each other. Um, yeah. Hope you all had great days!

That's Not What Your Mother Said Last Night
Hello people!

I know I had a crazy dream last night, but I can't remember it. :( Sadface. We read this short story in myth today about these aliens who came to Earth and built churches and lived there. And they worshipped human beings because humans can die, but the aliens had to live forever, which they obviously saw as a burden, rather than a "blessing," if you will. It was pretty interesting and sorta weirdish, lol.

In math, we only had about eight kids in class cuz there was an in-school showing of the play being put on this weekend, but Mr. Pagnanelli taught us anyway. Thankfully, the stuff we're doing is actually pretty easy. We've done it before (last year and such) and it's just plugging numbers into a formula. YAY. We had the same sitch in AP Gov., student-wise (had about five kids in class today).

Therefore, we skipped learning and watched SNL clips on Hulu all period instead, LOL. XD WIN. We watched some SNL Celebrity Jeopardy clips, obviously, hence the title of this post, as well as Like a Boss and Natalie's Rap and a few other things. SO HILARIOUS. I love the Celeb Jeopardy skits, I think they're some of the funniest shit ever written. XD And the bleeped out Like a Boss is pretty amusing.

In AmLit, we still were missing at least half the class until 3/4 of the way through the period, so we chatted most of the time. We talked about siblings and how we hurt them/they hurt us (physically, of course). I gotta admit, it kinda freaked me out how insane people are to their siblings. The worst thing Nick has ever done to me was throw an empty box at me. I dunno bout myself. Shoving, maybe?

I expressed my shock/outrage to Mrs. Jasper and she felt the same way. <3 We took a quiz on the Huck Finn chaps we were sposed to read this week. I only read about half of them and skimmed the rest. I swear, you guys, I'm really hating this book. I don't understand what's going on cuz the language is so fucking awful and it makes me wanna shoot myself in the head. Yeah, I hate it, lol.

AHEM. Anywho. It was Robbins' birthday in MindCandy today! :D He brought us chocolate chip cookie cake! It was DELICIOUS. I sang him the Happy Birthday song from Disney's "The Emperor's New Groove" and it was super fun, haha. He danced around. XD <333 We basically just chilled today and laughed and whatnot. Olivia and I discussed depression and therapy, which was actually fun.

Teh rents picked me up in the convertible (IT WAS 80 DEGREES TODAY) and we went right home. I never ate lunch, but I wasn't really hungry anywho, so meh. I hopped online for a while and felt like writing, so I thought I'd do that drabble meme that we all did a while ago (remember? that music drabble meme?) but I tried and found it incredibly difficult - a lot harder than I remember. :(

Mom and dad told me to come out so we could watch Supernatural. It was decent. I like that there was FINALLY something huntworthy. If only it hadn't introduced the wanky long-lost brother, first. Blech. But whatevski. Not completely awful. I decided I was hungry after-all, lol, so I made myself a cheese sandwich. I haven't had one in a while and I truly forgot how amazing they are. XD

I hate my brother. I hate him. Holy motherfucking shit I hate him so much. He just said that he wishes he could tell dad to STFU cuz dad asked if Nick was gonna change his clothes for his "not-date" tonight (btw, Nick's wearing torn-up jeans and an inside-out shirt. i.e.: he looks like a fucking dickhead). Dad has every right to ask if Nick's gonna make himself presentable for a girl. FUCKING FUCKHEAD.

Sorry. But yeah. RAGE. I desperately want to write tonight, so I think I'm gonna try, even though I've felt this way for a good week or so and haven't written anything since Monday night. *grumble* I'm going to the school play tonight (FAME! [I'm gonna live forever!]), hence my writing this sorta early-ish. Dudes. Nathan Fillion is on Twitter. And he is PAINFULLY cute. <3

Who Are We Torturing? Just You
Hello people!

I had this crazy-ass dream where [info]edgarallen and I were hanging out in RL, and he told me about this company called, "Leviathan" (which is the name of my spy organization in another story I'm working on) who makes the absolute best candy/food in the world out of hazardous materials (such as glass, plastic bags [they can choke you], etc.). He was chewing on gum made from plastic bags.

I think he died from it (sorry [info]edgarallen!)...um, but I was like, "Wow, sounds delicious!" so I made myself an entire meal out of glass. I had a drink made from ground-up glass and my dinner was a glass cup on a plate, covered in spaghetti sauce or something, and my dessert was some kind of glass cake or something. There was music playing in the background that was so happy, it was actually creepy.

The second I bit into my glass dinner, I suddenly realized I was chomping on glass and I'd cut my mouth to ribbons if I didn't get all the glass away from me right away. I carefully spit out the glass in my mouth and threw my dinner in the trash. Thankfully, I don't remember getting any cuts in my mouth, but I think I started crying. Um, something else happened that I don't remember, then I woke up.

It was really creepy. *shudders* Moving on. I set my alarm for 9:30 today, cuz I didn't wanna sleep super late, but I wound up turning it off as a part of my dream, I think, and therefore, didn't get up (a remote came with my alarm clock, so I can turn it off from my bed without getting up). I wound sleeping til noon. Again. *headdesk* I really despise sleeping so late. Especially when I keep going to bed at midnight-ish!

That's fairly early, considering it's Spring Break. Whatevski. I made myself scrambled eggs, sausage, and toast for breakfast. Then I played a little Splinter Cell and basically chilled til mom got home. She and dad left to go to mom's last appointment together and Nick and I did a little cleaning up in the basement, which is our job this week; spend at least an hour in the basement cleaning out our stuff.

See, we put boxes of our stuff down there cuz there's nowhere else to put 'em. So now we gotta throw away what we don't want, keep what we do. Honestly, I'm not gonna have much to toss out; pretty much everything I put down there is stuff I wanna keep, I just don't have space for it in my room. *shrugs* Oh, well. The reason we have to do this is for when we MOVE (finally) next fall.

I'm moving to whatever state I'll be in for college, and teh rents and bro will either move to Connecticut or the same state as me. We're still not sure yet. Anywho, dad wants everything organized cuz last time we moved, we were so disorganized, we had to leave a few things behind. So, yeah. Um, oh, the title of this post is from Splinter Cell; Sam says the first part to Lambert, Lambert replies with the last part.

Also, do you like my shiny new Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow icon?! :D *points* I LOVE IT. It's so purty. XD And maybe it's just me, but Sam Fisher's kinda hot. And he reminds me a bit of George Clooney. <3 Ahem. We watched Castle last night and there were a lotta dad/daughter moments. I dunno if any of you watch Castle, but Nathan Fillion is the main character, and, therefore, the dad.

Well, mom and dad keep equating Castle's (Fillion, obviously) relationship with his daughter to that of my dad's and mine, which I REALLY wish they would stop doing, since I wanna bang Fillion, lol. It's kinda weird. *shakes head* Yeah, um, okay, I'm done now.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

P.S. OH WAIT! LOOK AT THIS. HOLY FUCKING SHIT. That would make a fucking awesome story. Just sayin'.

At Night, I Would Sneak Into Hot Tubs and Read
Hello people!

Last night, mom, dad and I were kinda randomly talking about Loretta Devine, who is fantastically awesome. When I went to bed, I had a dream with Loretta in it, lol; she was on a new TV show, as was I. It was like a mixture of 24 and Fringe. I was working with a team of about five or six, and we were either in an office building, at a college, or at a restaurant, I don't recall which one, lol.

The dream was happening like a TV show. Ya know what I mean? Like, it was like my dream was a TV show and I was watching it in my sleep. Anywho, my team and I split up so we could find what we were after; a biohazardous material that was kinda like Mercury in that it was a liquid metal but it turned into small, solid, silver balls (HAHA BALLS) when exposed to air and evaporated into a clear, poisonous gas.

When exposed to blood, it stopped the poisonous reaction and it just formed those tiny silver metal balls in the blood. So, I found these two pieces of tin foil sitting on a small bookshelf in an office, and Loretta was playing a character, of course, and was asking what she could do to help. I opened the tin foil pouches, which were folded shut, and saw the biohazardous material. It started forming into silver balls.

Some kind of orangey-brown liquid substance that looked like rust began to bubble around the silver balls and I freaked out cuz I knew that's what happened when it was about to evaporate. Loretta said, "Does blood stop it from evaporating?" and I nodded hesitantly. Then, she grabbed a paperclip (yes, a paperclip), un-bent it so it was a straight line, and slit a line in her palm.

She grabbed the biohazardous material and held it in her hand as blood came up and covered it, and it stopped bubbling and just sat there. I remember feeling relieved, then the camera went to focus on the other members of my team, who were searching for the material outside of whatever building we were checking out, and then I woke up. It was SO WEIRD. But I think I can use it for a story! :D

Moving on. We took some notes in myth today. Pretty boring stuff. In math, we re-re-learned a lesson we were taught on Friday but are just starting to understand today, lol. *shakes head* Yeah, our teacher isn't super fantastic at his job...or the subject is just ridiculously confusing. Um. We discussed civil rights in AP Gov. today. We focused mostly on religion in school, which was SUPER fun.

Messick has this thing where she's afraid that, when she talks about religion in school, Atheists will come after her and yell at her or whatever. And it's kinda laughable, but it's also kind of annoying, as I'm an Atheist (uh, duh) and I think she's perpetuating an image that Atheists are all angry and such-which. I happen to LOVE talking about religion and school, it's a seriously interesting topic!

Whatevski. In AmLit, we watched some more of "A River Runs Through It." I still don't like it, lol. BORING. And finally, in MindCandy, we were assigned a project with basically no bounds or limitations, except that we have to include writing, art, and use of a computer. I decided to make a parody song video like those Colbert and 24 ones. :D I'm excited but nervous, lol. I hope it comes out okay (that's what she said).

What should I write about, though? And what song should I use? I thought maybe I could write about MindCandy, but it's kinda hard to do that...maybe I could make it more general? Like, just about writing and art? I dunno. And I have no idea what song I can use. It'd be best if it's a song that's not super up-beat or something so it doesn't have to have the music with it, lol, ya know? Wow, I suck at explaining things.

AHEM. I couldn't get picked up today, so I chilled outside and played Splinter Cell on my PSP. Oh, I got a text from this random number saying, "Hey you." and I was like, "Um, hi, who's this?" and they said, "Ryan." I don't know a Ryan, so I said, "Ryan who?" He replied saying that he was sorry, he must have the wrong number, who is this? I told him and he apologized again.

We ended up getting into a fairly extensive conversation. Apparently, we share a lot of the same interests and he sounds fairly cute. By the end of the conversation, he was asking if I wanted to meet up. I'm really not sure what to do. He's nice and funny and I don't wanna be rude but I don't even know the guy and you all know I'm totally not the social type and I've never been on a date and I have no idea what to do.

Advice, please? You guys are super smart and I trust your judgement. I caught the bus home and listened to Lonely Island all the way. "Punch You In the Jeans" is officially my fave. Nick asked me what I was listening to when we got home, and I told him, and he said, "Have you heard...uh...their most popular song?" Obviously, he was talking about "Jizz in My Pants," lol.

I said, "Of course! Have you heard, 'I'm On a Boat'?" and he said yes and I asked if he'd heard Sax Man, cuz he loves Jack Black, and he said no, so I told him he HAD to listen to it. He said he's downloading Incredibad tonight. I'M EXCITED. Maybe we can share laughs over Lonely Island? I mean, I know they're inappropriate, but I'm 18 and he's gonna be 17 in July, it's not like we haven't heard it all before. X]

OH. Cecil told us that when he was in high school, he used to go to this awesome cave that had natural bench-like rocks in it where he would sit, light candles and read. Is that not the coolest thing EVER? I wish I had a cave to go light candles and read in. That would be SCHAWEET. He also said that he used to sneak into apartment complexes and read in their hot tubs at night, LOL, hence tonight's title. <3

Are you guys watching Castle with Nathan Fillion? It's hilarious and kinda inspiring. I mean, it's getting me wanting to write murder stories, which is great, since that's my genre, lol. I hope it'll work like Teh Muse ([info]shoebox_addict) does for fanfics. ;] Oh, and Happy St. Patrick's Day. X]

Bears Are the Sharks of the Forest
Hello people!

Gah, right now, I really wanna just hide away in my room and not talk to anyone for a year. Every time I try to do something whilst in my room (write, watch something, read fanfics, talk to people, etc.), someone yells for me to come out and do something or nags me if I've done my homework (yes, I have, they can STOP ASKING NOW). I'm just so sick of being told what to do. SO SICK OF IT. I want everyone in the house to leave me alone.

Okay, moving on. Photo was super fun, we took more pics with our shoebox cameras. One of mine came out AWESOME, but the other two barely came out at all, so I had to chuck 'em. *sad-face* But we're taking more pics tomorrow, so hopefully, some of those will be bitchin! :D

I've gotta start doing my math homework, lol. I'm getting way behind. *headdesk* I just hate that class so much and really don't care about it. Grr. Um, AP Gov. was okay. I made up the test from yesterday and I think I did alright, so that's good. Then, in forensics, we talked about fingerprints - we're gonna do fingerprinting tomorrow. Meh. I've done that before, and I hope we're not using some "permanent" ink or pencil lead or something.

MindCandy was fun; we were sposed to work on Gallery X, but my group (the video group, remember?) had to talk to the media guy who has the cameras we'd need to make our commercials, but he was busy and told us to come back tomorrow, so we basically had a free period. We talked about our fave video games. <333

After that, I went to make up my forensics quiz, and there was a different teacher with (obviously) a different class in there, and I went in and said, "I'm here to -" and then the teacher was like, "Miranda?" I nodded and smiled, though I really hate being interrupted, so that kinda bugged me.

But while I was waiting for her to find my quiz, this girl in the front row saw one of my tattoos peeking out from under my shirt sleeve, and she said, "Do you have a tattoo?" I turned to see if I knew the person that had asked me (I didn't), and replied, "Yeah, I have two, actually." Her eyes got really wide, lol, and she was like, "Wow! Really?"

So I showed her (and the people surrounding her, since they were all looking at me then), and she said, "Did they hurt?" and I said, "No, not really...well, yeah, but not too bad." I wish I could've said more, but I felt unbelievably awkward since a bunch of kids were staring at me then and the teacher handed me my quiz right then, so, yeah, I went out of the room and took my quiz, lol.

It was pretty easy, so that was good. Then, Chris gave me a ride home and I did the dishes and was nagged to death about doing my homework and emailing Andrea Cambern (news anchor) about covering the "18 in '08" event at school. I also spent the past coupla hours trying to reach Sherrod Brown (senator) to get him to speak at the event, cuz I have to book a local celeb. I also emailed Zack Space (he was on TCR! :D). Hopefully, at least one of them will be able to attend, if not both (which would kick SO much ass).

I've noticed that I feel really detached at school. I don't have any of my good friends in any of my classes, just, ya know, aquaintances. Those people that you've known for a while and chat with when you see 'em, but you wouldn't hang out with them, ya know? Those are the people I have in my classes. And it blows. So I don't really talk to anyone, so all day, all I do is schoolwork and then I get home and get online. It's weird. I feel kinda alone.

Not in the sense that I don't have friends, cuz, I mean, you guys are AWESOME and I'm much better with online friends than I am real life friends, ya know, but sometimes it's just nice to talk to someone in person that you actually enjoy talking to. *sigh*

Wow, this post is a tad more emo than I intended it to be, lol. Um...oh! The title of this post is from Nathan Fillion's appearance on the Late Late Show (with Craig Ferguson) last night. I gotta say, I really don't like Ferguson. He annoys me. But anywho, not the point. Um, yeah, Nathan Fillion was there for Dr. Horrible, but you know how people are with those loosey-goosey talk show hosts; they never talk about what they came there for.

So Nathan mentioned bears and was like, "Have you ever seen a bear?" and Ferguson riffed on koala bears and whatnot, and then said, "Why, have you come across a bear?" and Nathan said no but he said that he always thought, "Bears are the sharks of the forest." I immediately thought of Stephen at the mention of bears, but I think what Nathan said actually sounds like something "Stephen" would say, lol. So it amused me. Here, watch it.

Kay, I think that's it. I've got some writing to do. I don't think it'll be done today, which I'd hoped for, but prolly by tomorrow night...I think...maybe...I have no idea, lol. X]
