The Second Coming...In Your Pants
Hello people!

I stayed home today. X]

I slept like shit last night, which contributed to my staying-home effort. Somehow, even amongst my constant waking up every thirty minutes, I was still able to dream. I know I had a dream about college and Tony Almeida being the principal and being angry, but I don't remember the details for that one, unfortunately (I think someone died, though)...

What I do remember the details to is a short dream where Kiefer (<3) and I were in Wal*Mart for some reason, and I made him a scarf with scarlet and gray felt. He loves scarves, I would assume that's why I made it. So I gave it to him and he put it on right away and was like, ":D" and I said, "It's gray and scarlet. Just like OSU." (he was wearing an OSU sweatshirt...I dunno why) and he smiled and nodded.

Yeah, I don't get the OSU thing, since I despise OSU and anything related to the Buckeyes, but...yeah. And then he got a text from his daughter and he had to call her and he talked to her for, like, forty minutes, and then I woke up. *shrugs* I don't get my dreams at all, lol. ANYWHO. I convinced mom and dad that was I feeling crappy (and I was, that wasn't a complete lie, lol) and I stayed home.

I slept til about noon. When I got up, both teh rents were gone. I checked my mail and saw that Mr. DeChant (Creative Writing teacher from last year) had sent me an email in response to my sending him my story! It said, "Extremely dark, depressed imagery and the like...but also very well-written! Nice ending too...I'm proud of you for the effort. Next time, less gory please!" I LOL'd.

I almost sent him a reply saying, "Um. Gory is what I write." but I refrained, lol. He amuses me. I thought I might try to write him something fluffier before the end of the school year, but complete a story that's totally not in my "genre" in the next month? Impossible, lol, especially if I'm gonna keep my grades up. So I've resigned to writing short stories for him over the summer.

I basically spent all day online. I thought I'd give my homework another go, but I still can't find my papers. I hate going into class being the only person who didn't do their work. It's so embarassing. But tis my own fault. *sigh* Mom and dad came home around 1:30 and we chatted and laughed and dad made me a late lunch of popcorn chicken. I was longing for Chick-Fil-A, but settled for freezer food.

Meh. It was still good. I did some dishes and got my third rejection letter: this time, from Amherst. I can honestly say I don't care. It doesn't bother me at all. Hmm. It actually feels pretty good to say that (or, ya know...type it...). I spent an hour or so taking quizzes on spacefem cuz HOLY MOO those are so much fun! XD I did all of them, though, and now there's no more to take. *sadface*

I spent about the last two hours watching Nerdfighter videos by John and Hank Green (though, 90% of the vids I watched were only John Green cuz I kinda don't like Hank that much - sorry Hank!). Those were hilarious and awesome and so made of win and the title of this post is from the following video, which amuses me to no end.

If you're not yet a Nerdfighter and enjoyed that video, check out the recommended "Must See B20" (B20=Brotherhood 2.0) playlist. HYSTERICAL. And time-consuming. I didn't catch the Streamys (Streamies?) but I hear NPH won for Dr. Horrible! :D And look! Backstage video! Courtesy of otherijustine, which is iJustine's other channel (incase, ya know, you couldn't figure that out on your own).

I still feel kinda off and mom thinks I still feel sick so perhaps I can even nab a second day off tomorrow? That would be...well, awesome. Um, okay, that's about it. Chuck, 24, AND Castle are all on tonight. YAY AWESOME SHOWS!!!

Every Problem in the World Can Be Solved With the Gentle Application of High Explosives
Hello people!

Last night was the latest I stayed up in, like, a really long time. I was up til 5:00. The latest I've ever stayed up in history is 6:00. *shakes head* I should have slept. Mom got me up at 11:30 and I pretty much just killed half an hour. Midnight Run was on Encore, so teh rents and I watched the tail-end of it. ALWAYS a great movie to watch. <3

Dad and I went to see Valkyrie at 12:20-ish. We got some lunch first, but decided to smuggle it into the movies (it was Arby's). At 12:50, the movie started. ZOMFG, it was sooooooo good! The ending was incredibly sad, but of course, that's to be expected from a WWII movie, lol. And I heard a lot of complaints (mom read Rotten Tomato reviews to me) that Tom Cruise was awful, but I think he was great!

I am definitely not a Tom Cruise fan, but yeah, I think he did a phenomenal job in Valkyrie. Maybe he's finally getting better. He looked really good, too, lol. As celli said, his eyepatch made him look dashing. XD And DUDES. Bill Nighy and Eddie Izzard were in it! In major roles! I didn't recognize Eddie Izzard cuz he looked WAY different (imo). See for yourself (no spoilers, only a pic): Eddie Izzard in Valkyrie.

The title of this post is from the movie, hehe. X] After the movie, dad and I came home. Little Miss Sunshine was on USA at 3:00, so I watched the first, like, twenty minutes until I realized that Valkyrie had already bummed me out, LMS would totally make me cry, lol. So I decided to watch last night's SNL, which had Neil Patrick Harris hosting! :D

OMG, he was so adorable. And really funny, imo. Oh, and a lotta people seemed to hate the Maddow sketch at the beginning, but I thought it was hilarious. I especially loved the Blagojevich part. Maybe I just have a bad sense of humor? I dunno. Anywho, oh, the exercising bit with NPH was really kinda hot, lol ("...and thrust, and thrust, and thrust, and thrust..."). OH, and the two first names sketch! XD Amusingness.

Then Parental Control was on MTV and I kinda love that show, though I haven't seen it in a really long time, so I watched that for half an hour. Then there was a little Spongebob and I had some chili for dinner and now I'm watching Drake&Josh. Yeah, aside from the movie, today was rather uneventful. I'm kinda just killing time til the 24 premiere at 8:00.

I'm SO EXCITED for 24, for surrs. It's been far too long and this season looks fucking amazing! I'll try not to fangirl rant about it so much, lol. XD What else...what else what else what else...um...oh, we've got a 50 minute late start tomorrow. Mom was like, "Why are you even going, you get out at noon?" And I was like, "Hmm. Good question." XD I'm thinking of trying for sick, maybe?

I could use a day off, even if I'm not gonna be there next week, I do feel sick and I'm tired and meh. I'm gonna try to convince teh rents to let me stay home tomorrow. I'm not gonna miss anything, anyway; we won't be doing anything cuz of the delay. Oh, speaking of delays, it snowed today! Again! And it was WONDERFULLY BEAUTIFUL. :D <3

I think I'm gonna try to get some writing done...

The end.

Equations Are the Devil's Sentences
Hello people!

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. Getting up to an alarm should be a sin...I guess it wouldn't apply to me, but YA KNOW. It was awful getting up this morning. How is it not Friday yet?!?!

I had two weird dreams last night. In one of them, I was in school, but it wasn't my school. I think it was one of my old middle schools. I was sitting with about six other people and we were in an art classroom. This guy at the head of the table spit for no reason and it landed on a few of us, including me. I yelled, "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" Then the teacher got super pissed at me for saying, "Hell" and told me to leave the room.

Then I dreamed that I was outside and it was raining. I was trying to get the mail from the mailbox, but when I got there, half the mail was hanging OUT of the mailbox, soaking wet. There were a TON of magazines, and I grabbed them all, then noticed that there were a couple things shoved in back. I reached for those and after a couple minutes of struggle, I got 'em.

THEN I noticed that a bunch of magazines were on the ground in front of the mailbox. I got those, too. By the time I was done, I was soaking wet. Then I woke up. Yeah, I don't understand my crazy psycho dreams, lol. *shakes head*

We had a sub in photo so we all just chilled and such, though it was a work day anyway, so we would've done that whether we had a sub or not. I studied for my AP Gov. test, which was incredibly difficult cuz nothing seemed to be sticking in my head. I hate studying, it never helps me. I can't ever remember anything. Anywho, we had a notebook quiz in math and I think I prolly got a B, which is fine with me.

The test in AP Gov. was short and I think I did okay. Although I usually think I do okay and wind up getting a bad grade, lol. Whatevski, it's not my concern til after break. I finished first and had about twenty minutes of free time, so I NAPPED for ten minutes. OMG, it was wonderful. I never do that, lol, so yeah, it ROCKED. Luckily, I don't think I snore (I've been told that I don't).

Oh, gosh, so, I got a mini!Etch-a-Sketch in the advent calendar a couple days ago and I brought it to school today. Just before I napped in gov., I took it out and started doodling nothingness. I suck on Etch-a-Sketches, lol, so I put it down and my friend, Erin, who sits next to me, asked if she could see it. I said sure, no probs, then fell asleep. When I woke up ten minutes later, Erin had drawn me a motherfuckin CASTLE. With a beautiful sky and the ground and awesome shit and it was amazing. Then it fell on the floor and got ruined. *facepalm*

Once everyone was done with their tests, Messick announced that it was a hug day, so most of us gave her a hug, then she demanded we hug Henry cuz he seemed depressed, so a few of us (including myself) did. I love hug days, lol. HUGS RULE. We are still *almost* finished with our forensics exam. All we have to do now is compare fingerprints, then we're done. WHOOT WHOOT!

In MindCandy, we did this LoveMatch quiz that we take EVERY YEAR. It's hysterically awesome and I love taking it cuz the questions (and answers) are soooooo ridiculous sometimes. And there's a movie question that says, "What's your fave kind of movie?" and then it lists, like, Comedy, Horror, etc. I ALWAYS ask, "Why isn't porn listed as one of the choices?" XD I know why, but still. I like saying that. LOL!

Also, a lot of people put fake names in as jokes, and Robbins put his name as Captain Jack Sparrow. He's PURE AWESOME. Anywho. I had to cut out my zine from this HUGE piece of paper, so I did that and it took all period. And I had to leave about twenty minutes early so mom could pick me up; she had a 12:30 appointment, but it was only about twenty minutes away from school. SO. Yeah.

For some reason unbeknownst to me, the school was selling DQ Blizzards today. I've known about it for a week and have wanted on since I found out. Well guess what? They were sold out by the time I got there (I have the last lunch period, so typically, EVERYTHING'S gone by the time I get there). That really bummed me out. I told mom and she said she'd get me a Blizzard on the way home! :D WHOOT FOR MOM!

We went to mom's appointment and I slept for half an hour in the car. Yeah, I was ridiculously tired today, I dunno why. Then we went home and mom wrapped some gifts for dad and we watched A (The?) Christmas Wish, which stars Debbie Reynolds and...wait for it...Neil Patrick Harris! :D I was kinda excited to see it cuz of NPH, but it turned out to suuuuuuuuuuck (after all, it was on Lifetime). But NPH still rocks.

Oh, then we watched this show called, "Cats101," and they talked about ragdoll kitties. OMG, have you guys seen them? They are adorable! So snuggly and cute. I want one. :} Someone posted some awesome icons today (though I don't recall who or where, lol...I know, I'm soooo helpful), and one of them said the title of this post. It amused me (CUZ IT'S TRUE), so I snurtched it. XD

So, I totally watched Stephen on Conan last night (I know, WAY late). OMF HE WAS SO ADORABLE!!! Firstly, the year 2000 bit was pretty funny. Secondly, ZOMF I LOVED HIS TIE/SUIT! <3 He looked SOOOO beautiful/handsome, take your pick. Speaking of pic, here he is in his sexy suit/tie. *MELTY* Ahem. Thirdly, TEH SINGING. OHHHH TEH SINGING. That's one of my fave songs, too! :D And the Rockette kicks! Stephen should be a Rockette with those long, sexy legs of his. I'm done, I promise. X3

There's a lot of caps and italics in this post...I apologize for the assault on the eyes, lol. With regard to that drawing meme, I will doodle up your pics now and post them within the next two hours. :}

Regis Can't See the Cue Cards!
Hello people!

Neil Patrick Harris does an amahzing impression of Regis Philbin. Holy fuck, he sounds just like him, lol. Here, see for yourself. It's around 4:35 that NPH starts talking like Regis. NPH=SO KICK-ASS.

Bush Won't, Cuz He's a PresiDon't Who AmeriCan't
Hello people!

I had a dream that I actually still remember (I usually forget them by now...). I was on LJ and posted some kind of meme where I mentioned how I'm against drug use, and then someone commented and said that I was stupid or something for saying what I'd said about drugs, and I went to argue my point, then I woke up. Kinda weird.

Anywho, today was a roller-coaster. When I woke up, mom told me she and dad were gonna go out shopping and stuff and they'd be gone for a bit. They also informed me that Nick was feeling sick so he was gonna chill in his room. It was about 10:30 when the rents (my short-hand for "parents") headed out. I did the dishes and decided to make the muffins I've been craving for a while now.

That turned into an absolute disaster, which upset me. But there is something cool that came from it; when the muffins over-flowed in their pans, I had to scrape the tops off and put said tops onto a plate. Once I'd put the significantly smaller muffins back into the oven to finish baking, I looked at the tops on the plate. They were baked to the point of being the consistancy of cookies; a little cruncy, a little chewy.

So I chopped up the excess, baked dough and put it in a tupperware, which I promptly stuck in the fridge and forgot about. A while later, I tried the cold-ish cookie-bites, and they were really good. Like, really, really delicious, lol. So I think I've created a little snacklet by accident. :D

Moving on...there was a Forensic Files marathon on today, I guess in celebration of Labor Day weekend. I've been watching it since 1:00-ish. Around 6:00, I started recognizing episodes that I've seen before, so I'm kinda bored now, lol. I have a shitload of TDS/TCR to watch, so I'll get those done tomorrow or Monday.

Neil Patrick Harris was on Letterman on Wednesday or Thursday (or something) and I recorded the interview. All they talked about was How I Met Your Mother! I was kinda bummed; I hoped they'd discuss Dr. Horrible! Oh, well. And I heard the soundtrack is on iTunes. Does that mean it's not coming out on CD? Cuz that would blow.

During the past few hours, I've been watching these videos by Bo Burnham, and they're fucking hilarious. Seriously. You've gotta watch, like, all of them. They're a bit offensive if you take them seriously, but they're satire, so LAUGH. Please enjoy: Cookout. 3.14 Apple Pi. Rehab for Fictional Characters. I'm Bo Yo. My Better Half. My Whole Family. There are a bunch more, so watch all of 'em, cuz they're truly fantastic, lol. Plus, he's super cute. <3

My parents still aren't home. They've been gone pretty much all day, looking for a new couch. *shrugs* Oh, well. They're bringing us home some food (whenever they get the Hell home, lol). That's about it. SATURDAY FTW!

Have You No Sense of Decency, Sir?

Hello people!

I was sposed to go with mom to Starbucks today to meet up with a co-worker of hers so they could discuss work stuffs and whatnot. But I was tired and blah-y, so I decided to stay home. Well, let me tell you, the co-worker, Andrew, is a total sweetheart and he's pretty damn cute. So, mom told Andrew that I was feelin' yuckish, and Andrew said that he was gonna buy me a coffee and have mom bring it home to me. How sweet is that? <3

I am hugely disgruntled with Amazon.com right now. I ordered something LAST SATURDAY and it should've gotten here YESTERDAY. And guess what? Haha, I STILL DON'T HAVE IT. So, yeah, I'm kinda pissed off with them. Mom says that if you order with FREE Super Saver Shipping (which we always do, cuz, DUH, free shipping!), they treat your order like it doesn't matter. This is actually the first time I've ever had poor service from them. And one of the things I ordered is for Nick's birthday, which is...hmm...oh, right, TOMORROW. *SIGH*

Moving on...I didn't do much today. Made a video, watched stuff on YouTube, listened to music. I'm insanely bummed that I couldn't go to Comic-Con this year. I've never been, mostly cuz there wasn't reason for me to go prior to this year, but now there are a TON of reasons for me to go; Supernatural, Dr. Horrible, Tek Jansen. So, yeah, really sad that I couldn't go this time around. Especially since the alternative=doing nothing.

The title of this blog is from Cash Cab. I don't remember what the whole question was, but it was something like, "Who did (don't remember the guy's name) say, 'Have you no sense of decency, Sir?' to?" Yeah...it sounds funnier out of context, LOL. Real quick: there's gonna be a Dr. Horrible, Act IV! :D *IS CRAZY EXCITED*

Dudes! Awesome news for MGS fans: they're planning on putting out a movie next year! :D I think either David Hayter (who actually voices Solid Snake in the games), George Clooney, or David Boreanaz could play Solid Snake. I hope they don't pick some po-dunk loser that doesn't do the role justice. They're also making a Splinter Cell movie and a Max Payne movie, but the former sounds suckish, cuz they picked...well...some po-dunk loser that no one's heard of.

GAH, someone posted the link to this awesome interview with Neil Patrick Harris between himself and fans online, and look at one of the Q&A's:

Damn: I'm straight and I think I'd go out with you. Probably upset the wife and kids, though. So what do you think happened to Doogie? Did he grow up, buy a Porsche and start a family practice in the suburbs?
Neil Patrick Harris: He probably developed an addiction to painkillers and wanders around with a cane at some hospital somewhere...

ZOMG HOUSE REFERENCE. Do you know how much I love Neil Patrick Harris at this moment? He's SO amazing. I'd love to meet him at some point. <3 Hmm...I don't think there's much else to say. Tomorrow's Nick's birthday and we're heading out to the mall (and he actually wants to spend time with us, ZOMG!).

I feel bad for saying this, but I always hate my brother's birthday. The thing is, my birthday is three days after Christmas, so I got a big load of presents once at the end of the year, but Nick gets Christmas, and then six-ish months later, gets his birthday. I kinda feel jealous of him getting presents. And then I feel so guilty for feeling jealous, and when I explain this to mom, she gets angry with me. *shakes head* Blah.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*
