Here's Your Stocking; STUFF IT
Hello people!

I had a couple crazy dreams last night. I dreamt that Nick and I were at a construction site and this guy started yelling at Nick for no reason. I said, "Don't talk to my brother like that." The guy slapped Nick, so I said, "If you keep acting that way, I'm gonna shoot you." The guy then punched Nick, so I shot him in the head and then I woke up, lol. I told you it was crazy. *shrugs* Nobody messes with my brother, lol.

I had another dream that this old lady let me and a cute older guy lock ourselves in a huge store she had, all by our lonesome. Apparently, we had the intention of fooling around in there, but I woke up before that happened (damn it). Mom woke me up and climbed into bed with me. Then dad came in, then Nick, then Budgie, lol. We all snuggled and talked and laughed and it was great. I miss doing that. <3

Dad had to do some grocery shopping, so I went with him. We went home shortly after that. Teh rents and I went up to the room above the garage to see how much space there is in there. See, we're gonna turn it into an apartment and I'm gonna live there while I do online schooling. It's a plus in a ton of ways cuz not only do I get a really cool place to live, but it also increases our home value! :D

I'm so excited. We're not entirely sure when we can do it all (we're thinking probably next summer), but we're definitely doing it. GAH, my head's gonna explode, lol. XD Anywho, um, we went back inside for a bit, where I made snowflakes that I taped on the windows in the kitchen. Mom made pasta salad and dad put up Christmas lights outside. Eventually, we had dinner; paninis like I made at school a few weeks ago!

Mind had salami, Gouda cheese and lettuce, but teh rents' had chicken and Havarti cheese on theirs. They were SUPER tasty. <3 We watched Elf, then Chasing Christmas was on ABC Family, so we watched that. THEN, Santa Baby was on. That's where the title of this post is from. I just watched The Middle and now I have nothing to do. BOREDOM SUCKS. Oh, but ya know what's awesome?

So awesome. Oh, dad and I went to the store to get ice cream, too, so that was yummy. Now I'm gonna go find something to do.

If He Likes It, I Like It...
Hello people!

HAPPY FRIDAY THE 13TH! Vicki and I woke up at 10:00 to Lady Gaga. Best way to wake up EVER. <3

We turned the music up as loud as it would go and rocked out, lol. It was so awesome. We each took showers and then dragged Jen and Chris to lunch with us at noon. I got a chicken patty sandwich and some home fries. I didn't expect it to be all that good, but it was! :D Vicki and Chris went to class and Jen and I went back to the dorm. I taught myself the other dance Lady Gaga does in that video.

Ya know, the part at the end where she's dressed in red and lying on the floor. It's at 3:57 in the video. Anywho, I also taught myself how to say those lines she says in French. Then Vicki came back and she packed to go home. We all chilled in Jen's room for a bit, then Chris, Vicki and I went downstairs to wait for Vicki's mom. Eventually, she arrived and Vicki went home. I went upstairs and watched TV for a while.

I made myself a pepperoni sandwich for dinner and then had some hot chocolate cuz I was totally in the mood. I got bored and went to hang out with Jen, Jade and Chris. We've just been looking at funny pictures on Jen's computer and laughing our heads off. Today's been pretty slow, lol. I've gotta work tonight, from nine to midnight. I'm glad, cuz YAY MORE MONEY, but I'm tired, so I'm not happy at the same time, lol.

OH! I made a video for mom and dad's anniversary (a day late *shakes head*)! Watch it - trust me, you'll like it.

Okay, that's about it, lol. Oh, title of this post is something Jen said. It's funnier out of context.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

We Are Awesome, Aren't We? Oh, Yes, We Are
Hello people!

Today wasn't all that great, but I'm not in a bad mood, surprisingly, lol.

I slept til 11:30, which was splendid for me since I was so tired yesterday. Nick came in and woke me up very sweetly and calmly (<3). I got up and got ready for a shower. I went and said hi to dad, but he was all pissed at me because I slept so late and hadn't fed Celtic yet. He asked why I hadn't set my alarm to get up and why my phone was off.

I just went to my shower and when I was done and got dressed, dad said he was sorry for yelling at me. I felt bad, though, for not getting up. I usually don't sleep that late without waking up at least once. *shrugs* I know I had dreams last night, but I don't remember what they consisted of. Meh. I pretty much lazed around and did nothing today.

I went and watched TV and got online for a while, until I decided to start my Sphinx fic (titled Sphinx 2: Saving Tut). Speaking of, I feel I should warn any of you that have studied Ancient Egypt and their religious beliefs and intend to read my fic that the game, Sphinx, is hugely religiously and historically inaccurate. Hugely. But at least they have the names right, lol. I guess. X]

Anywho, I got about a page done before I wanted to check something in the game and had to start a new game. I played that for about an hour and worked out some kinks (pun unintended, lol) in the fic, until the news started. So, then, I watched the news, lol! Incase you couldn't connect those dots. ;D Playing and writing Sphinx, though, got me really wanting Egyptian stuff.

I have an Ankh necklace, so I put that on, and I spent about an hour and a half browsing the internets for Ancient Egyptian-esque jewelry and clothing. Unfortunately, most of the jewelry is ridiculously expensive if it's authentic (real gold or real silver), and if it's not authentic it's pretty obvious. And any clothes are either Halloween costumes or from India (which don't really look Egyptian enough).

I did find a kick-ass ankle-length skirt, though, that has eye of Horus prints on it. It's so gorgeous! I showed mom and she bought it for me on the spot! :D It should be here in about a week. I really want more Egyptian-type clothing, but I guess I'm not gonna find any. Oh, well. I chatted with Kurt Ludlow (fave anchor <3) a bit on Twitter and that's about all that happened today.

Actually, now that I really think about it, today was a pretty good day. Oh, did you guys see this? I kinda wanna strangle her til she dies. Not that I didn't wanna do that before, lol. OH, speaking of wanting to strangle people. 'member a while ago, when I talked about that horrid family across the street who constantly honks their stupid car horns at each other?

Well, today, I found out who does it. A teenage girl lives there, you see, and a car full of teenage boys pulled up and sat in the driveway, I would assume waiting for her. They honked a couple of times, which I'm fine with, ya know, whatever. But then they kept repeatedly honking the horn for, like, twenty minutes! I went outside and stared at them for a bit, deciding if I should call the cops or not.

I decided against it, since they left ten minutes later, but god, I just wanna...*balls hands into fists* *sigh* Anywho. Title of this post is something a friend on Twitter said of people on teh internets. So true. I find this endlessly awesome and I freaking love the song he's playing (Jimmy Buffet, "Pencil-Thin Mustache"). Uh, the end?

I'm Tired of You Waving Your Cannon In My Face
Hello people!

I woke up at 9:00 this morning after having one of the greatest dreams ever. I had a dream that Stephen Colbert was a substitute for one of my classes (why am I still dreaming about school? it's OVER) and he wanted to show us a forearm tattoo he was getting. He got the outline of it and some of the colors, but he still had to get the rest of the colors filled in.

I don't recall what exactly the tattoo was, but it was awesome, lol. I was excited that he got a tat in the same place I'd gotten mine, so I jumped up and said, "Check it out, I just got one, too!" He came over and got all flustered and was, like, impressed by my tat even though it was small and gooey from Aquafore (sp?), lol. He asked if he could touch it (weird, right?) and I said sure.

So he touched it and poked at it and then I was suddenly in MindCandy again (ahh, MindCandy) and Cecil was subbing (surprise, surprise <3). I was trying to explain that I got a new tattoo and its meaning, but he kept getting distracted, which I found immensely frustrating, so I just thrust my arm out (haha) and showed him my tat. And he practically had a meltdown over its awesomeness.

Surrsly, it was ridiculous, he freaked and was like, "OMG I'M GETTING ONE, TOO!" He fawned over me a little, which was actually pretty, ya know, fucking cool (XD), but then, unfortunately, I woke up. Anywho, I got up and hopped in the shower. I came out and fed Celtic and just chilled. I watched TV, though I don't remember what I watched or, really, anything else from this morning...OH! We watched Midnight Run! :D

Teh rents and I left to get Tyrone 2.0, who we purchased last night and came to our Best Buy today. He is the first option from the poll last night, the more expensive one. I love him, but he works and looks a LOT differently than my first Tyrone baby, but I'll adjust, I know, it'll just take some time. Oh, there is something that I'm concerned about, though.

Microsoft Office 2007 is the word program I have now, but I used to use Works Word Processor. So, do you guys know how to convert Processor to Office or...or something similar or whatever? I am so afraid that I won't be able to get my stories onto Tyrone 2.0 and be able to actually work on them that I'm kiiiinda freaking out just a little bit. :3

Ahem. After we picked up Tyrone 2.0 (Ty2, for future reference), we went to World Market and bopped around. I got some candy and sugar-free gum and some Pocky. The gum is the only thing I haven't eaten yet, LOL. Then we went to Borders cuz mom had a coupon and wanted to see if she could find anything to buy. She found a couple books, but sadly, I did not.

We had to get back home to feed baby Celtic, so we did just that. Our dinner was AMAZING and consisted of ribs, mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. So good. Um, and then we watched eight episodes of Ellen, which is where the title of this post came from, and now we're watching Burn Notice. I'm writing this on Ty2, but I'm bummed that I don't have any stories on here...

I desperately wanna write, so maybe I'll stay up late on the living room computer and work? Although, really, I guess I should work on Ty2. *shrugs* On the plus side, my friend who ordered a few of those John Lange (Crichton) books for me is sending them out on Tuesday, AND he has a leaked copy of The Sims3 that he's sending me (I know, I know, BAD). *SQUEE!*

Nick's staying over at a friend's house, so I don't have to hear his music, video games, or late-night phone convos through our paper-thin walls as I'm trying to sleep. <3 Also? There's a Nanny marathon tonight. From 10:00PM-2:00AM! :D *DOUBLE SQUEE!*

You Can't Tell Time, You're a Zebra
Hello people!

Sorry this is coming so late, I wound up taking a nap and sleeping for a few hours, lol.

I woke up this morning all excited and whatnot. XD In myth, our quiz on The Odyssey turned into the Seniors telling Mr. Shoemaker what we're gonna do after graduating (college/majors). It was fun, but also kinda boring cuz that lasted, like, fifteen to twenty minutes and then we did nothing else for the rest of the class period.

It was Sarah's birthday, so I brought in a thing of Oreos and passed some out and then gave the last sleeve to Sarah, lol. She and I chatted for a while, which was fun. We had a party in math and I ate a cupcake (delicious, omg), lol. I found out my grade on the test yesterday: gahhh, a 79. Meh, not terrible. But I got a B in my quarter and a C for the semester! :D

Mr. Pagnanelli said he was proud of me, hehe! It felt pretty good. In AP Gov., we played Outburst! with the physics class. We were sposed to play kickball, but it was muddy outside, so we played the board game instead. It was MUCH more fun than kickball ever would've been for me, so I was fine with it, lol. We took pics and stuff and it was super fun.

I also saw my grade and I have a B-, I think, for the quarter and a C for the semester. We all hugged Messick one last time, lol, and Jen hung around for the class period, too! :D <3 We watched the Huck Finn movie starring a very young and incredibly adorable Elijah Wood in AmLit. I don't like Wood much now, but WOW, you guys should see him young. SO cute!

Jen joined us for that and once the class period was over, I shook Mrs. Jasper's hand. I'm gonna miss her, she was really nice and funny. And finally, in MindCandy, we had Jet's Pizza (FANTASTIC stuff, guys) from Robbins and the rest of the class gave the Seniors gifts! There are four of us, so we started from the far side of the table and went around.

Michelle got waterless watercolors cuz she's an artist, Olivia got some anime stuffs cuz, well, as the class dubbed her, she's the Queen of Anime, Anna got a really cool corkboard and the title of Un-Pin-Downable...or something similar. And you'll never guess what I got. XD I was named, "THE Stephen Colbert Fan" and given a little doll with a pic of Stephen stapled to the head, LOL.

I love them. I will miss them SO much. At 12:10-ish, mom and dad both brought the Blizzards over and we handed them out and teh rents stayed for the rest of class! :D Jen came by for the rest of class, as well! <3 Robbins was super excited about the ice cream, lol, and mom was like, "Wow, he's easy to please!"

And Robbins said, "Ice cream in the middle of the day, man, it's the best." (or something like that) and dad was like, "After pizza, too!" and Robbins nodded and they laughed and dad said Robbins was his type'a guy. It made me LOL. XD At the end of class, Robbins gave me a huge hug, which was awkward cuz he's freakishly tall and I'm so short, lol.

But still. YAY. And I hugged everyone but Brian, cuz he left a little early. I was gonna go say goodbye to Mr. Fout and Mr. DeChant (and Mr. Cecil, if I could find him), but I figured I'd see them at graduation and I'd just bid them adieu (sp?) then. I got my stuff from my locker and it felt so, so odd to just leave school with my locker empty.

I mean, I do it every year, ya know, but this time it's totally different. I'm not coming back next year. I'm not gonna fill that locker with my magnets and notebooks and binders and suchwhich. It's weird. But awesome. I got in the car and I finally realized that THAT. IS. IT. I'm glad I'm done but yeah, I'm definitely gonna miss everybody.

Oh, I forgot to say, Nick stopped by MindCandy for a few minutes to say hi and grab a piece of pizza and it was awesome! I love seeing him at school, he's actually kinda nicer to me cuz we're in public. XD Anywho, we went on home and I felt like packing some stuff, so I packed up all my books, DVDs, CDs and video games. Well, most.

I've still got a few games out so I can play them during June and I also still have all the Stephen Colbert DVDs, CDs (audiobooks) and books (Harvey Birdman, SWC, Wigfield, etc.) out, but almost everything media-wise is packed, lol. Afterwards, I was so exhausted, which is ridiculous cuz I only packed two boxes, but I really forgot how hard packing is, lol.

Teh rents said, "So. Take a nap." So I did! :D I slept for three hours and got up in time for dinner and Jeopardy. And now we're catching up on the immense amount of TV shows we taped in the past coupla weeks. We watched Rules of Engagement, which is where the title of this post came from. It's kinda just random, but I think it's hilarious.

Once more, I must remind you guys: [1] NOM PLEASE. It should be said that the nom'ing for this week's categories ends tomorrow night... [2] VOTE PLEASE. You guys seriously have made this last day even greater. Even if I don't win, I appreciate so much all your voting and bumping me up in the polls. <3

It's KittyCane, the PepperCat...This is Horrifying
Hello people!

Oh, Stephen Colbert. Happy Birthday. ILY. <3

I slept a little better than I did the night before last, but it still wasn't very good. I woke up at 5:30 and was wide awake. :( But I did have a rather enjoyable dream; I was at this restaurant or food court or something and it was insanely crowded. Then I saw David Rutz (now-in-college buddy) and I hooked arms with him and this other guy and we just ran through the place.

It was so much fun, but then I got really sad cuz I knew it'd be the last time I'd see them. Then I woke up. In myth, we watched The Odyssey, the movie. I remember watching it Freshman year. *shakes head* But at least I got to work on my math packet. I've actually been getting the homework done ahead of time, so I'm almost done! :D We took a quiz in math today.

I mentioned that before, I think. It was fairly easy. I mean, some of it was factoring, and I hate that shit, but I think I did all right. Tomorrow, we have our notebook test and, for the first time, I'm so excited to take it. Everything in my binder is so organized and GAH, I feel so good about it. XD I know, I know, I'm a nerd. Well, I proudly embrace my nerdiness. <3

In AP Gov., we had to attend the Junior class' cabinet election assembly because Messick is on the staff that runs it. We handed out and collected ballets and tallied votes. Meh, kinda boring. We read Robert Frost and Sylvia Plath poetry in AmLit. It wasn't too bad, Robert Frost is an intriguing poet cuz he was kind of a pompous asshole, but his poetry totally doesn't show it.

Plath has an interesting way of writing, too, so it wasn't totally dull in class. I got to read some of The Lost World between work and that was awesome. I love it thus far - it's really nothing like the movie. And honestly, the only good thing about the movie is Jeff Goldblum. ;] Um, where was I? Oh, right, we also returned our giant books during class! :D

In MindCandy, neither Brian nor Robbins were there, so there was little to no entertainment. So we all either read books or worked on homework. I read - didn't have any homework. Ms. Dewey came in and made Anna and Tyler make a poster for selling the magazine next week. Anna doodled a peppermint candy with a kitty face, and Tyler said that. *points to title*

It was hysterical. XD I thought it was, anyway, lol. Then, I went and got my t-shirt (I finally figured out where to go, lol) and it's AWESOME. And then mom picked me up and we went to lunch at Chef's House. We got delicious club sandwiches and fries and MMM, so good. We talked about dad's reluctancy to move, even though there's no reason to stay here.

We also talked about how annoying dad's been lately, lol, and how he kinda speaks poorly of mom behind her back (and to me, even though I don't agree with, like, anything he says). Mom got really upset, which wasn't my intention, I just wanted to be completely honest with her about what's going on in the house and whatnot. That's where the convo ended.

I wish I could do something, but I don't know what I can do. *sigh* Moving on. I chilled online for a while, listened to "The Way It Is" by Bruce Hornsby, posted that Stephen picspam. <3 Mom left for another appointment and I played The Sims2 for a couple hours. Then dad came home, and then, shortly after that, mom came home. And now, here we are!

I don't feel like watching TV at all tonight. Mom and I both just wanna go to a bookstore and sit there all evening. It's pouring outside, and our fave thing to do when it's raining is sit in a bookstore, reading books and drinking coffee. Unfortunately, the closest bookstore is half an hour away and we just don't have the energy or time to head out to it. Grawr.

Happy Happy Birthday, From All of Us to You...
Hello people!

Well, my dears, it's that time of year again. Stephen Colbert's birthday is today. That sweet, wonderful man is turning 45 years old. He still doesn't look a day over 30 to me. The flist has already done their part of a picspam. Now it's my turn. Warning: LOTS of pics ahead, not so good for slow comps/interwebs, lol. Proceed with caution.

That's just the way it is, some things will never change... )

I Wouldn't Mind Eating Stephen Colbert's Face
Hello people!

I'm having trouble stopping myself from reading FML posts, lol. They're so amusing! XD

I slept terribly last night. I think I was awake more than I was asleep. It sucked. In myth, we talked about the Lotus Eaters and Polyphemus, both of which I knew about already, but I had nothing else to do so I listened. It was dull. We went over the homework in math class, then got the test back that we took last week. Guess what? I got a 96! :D AND, it was the highest grade in the class! <333

I was so excited about it, lol, I was probably a little too happy in class, but whatever. It brought my grade up from a 67 to a 77! :D YAY! In AP Gov., we worked a teeny bit on our projects and then played Outburst!, which I've never played before. Holy moo, it was so much fun! I wanna get that game and play with teh rents. The girls lost to the boys, but we still had a great time.

We did random, pointless worksheets in AmLit. It was sooooooooo boring. Blah. Remember when we made those mixed CDs for MindCandy? Well, we listened to one of them today in class. There's a few guys whose CDs have, like, ten of their fifteen songs that are ridiculously long (like eight or ten minutes). I fear that if they're all that long, we won't get through everyone's CDs.

Anywho, the one we listened to today wasn't very good, imo. It just wasn't my kinda music. Halfway through class, Mr. Cecil stopped by to say hello! :D He had the most gorgeous blue shirt on today; it was, like, stunningly blue, lol. I announced to the class that Stephen's birthday is tomorrow and someone suggested I bring in a cake with Stephen's face on it.

Brian said that he'd be fine with eating Stephen's face. Cecil didn't catch the beginning of the conversation and was like, "...what?" so we explained it to him and then he said, "Yeah, I think of the faces you could get on a cake, I really wouldn't mind eating Stephen Colbert's face." X] Love him. SO MUCH, lol. How is he so awesome? I will never know.

ANYWHO, I wanted to get my Senior t-shirt today, but they're being sold outside of school cuz they're "underground" versions (they say, "The Pride's Inside!" [school motto] then, "That's what she said!"), and the only way I could get one was to find someone in the parking lot. Our parking lot is HUGE and I didn't know where to go so I just gave up. I'm gonna try again tomorrow.

Mom picked me up and took me home and I went to my room to write. I was determined to finish my story for MindCandy. I did! And I love it! I think it came out pretty good, considering I squished it into the last month of school, lol. I think I'll post it here a little later, if you guys are interested in reading it. If not, ya know, that's cool and whatnot. But feel free. To, ya know. Read it. XD

Um, mom left for an appointment and I've been watching John Green on BlogTV, chatting with Kurt Ludlow (fave news anchor <3) a bit, and reading FMLs all afternoon. OH MY GOD, FML is just too hysterical. I love it so much, lol. I also found out on John Green's broadcast that I'm not the only one missing pages in Looking for Alaska. I wonder how that even happened?

Moving on. I'm so afraid the [info]tds_rps FanFic Awards are gonna fail cuz STILL, no one is nominating anything. :( So please go nominate fics! Also, the Sanyo Xacti Camera contest ends this coming MondayPLEASE VOTE FOR ME! <333 You guys helped me move up the ranks thus far, but please keep voting! We need the money to buy our house when we move! /guilt-trip. ;]

You May Be Beautiful, But I'm Not Above Punching You
Hello people!

What a great day today was! :D

It was so effing hard to get up today. Shockingly, painfully hard. Guh. We ran out of time in class for me to talk to Shoemaker about my grade (he keeps running us down to the last minute), so I'm gonna try on Monday. I'm really worried about my grades...ANYWHO. In math, we did some notes and stuff and then we got a test back. Guess what? I failed it. I FAILED the test. :'(

I got a 55/100 and I'm really upset about it and, frankly, I'm shocked that I got that bad of a grade. I honestly didn't think I did that poorly on that test (it was from a while ago). And I definitely don't need an F to add to my overall class grade of a D. *sigh* Moving on, moving on. We did current events in AP Gov. today. Henry went to see Wolverine's midnight premiere last night, so he was hyper.

And he went around clutching pens and pencils between his fingers and pretending he was Wolverine, saying (repeatedly), "I'm Wolverine! I'll murder you!" It was pretty hilarious, actually, lol. X] In AmLit, we had a reading quiz on Huck Finn, which I wound up not listening to on audiobook. I went to SparkNotes last minute last night and read over the chaps we had to read and guess what?

I knew, like, 9/10 of the answers on the quiz! YAY SPARKNOTES! :D Then we had free time, so I read Looking for Alaska (from now on, LoA) the rest of the time. Guys. Holy fucking shit, guys. That book. John Green is fucking amazing. There's a part in the book that's really sad (I won't spoil it) and I literally cried for, like, ten pages. And then, after a little break, I cried again. I officially love that book.

(Oh, I didn't cry in school, that was saved for when I was in the car, lol). Um, oh! Cecil was subbing for Robbins in MindCandy today! :D It was so great to see him again! <333 He cut his hair, though, and it was slightly shorter than it should've been, but he was still adorable. X} Haha, I totally lost my train of thought. *facepalm* Um...uh...well, we didn't really do anything, just chilled and such.

Mom picked me up early and we talked about moving and what few things we're gonna miss (like Kroger, The Greene, NewGrounds Cafe, etc.). Then we went to my hair appointment and DUDES, I love my haircut! :D Check it out:

It's so Damn Fine To Be Alive... )

SQUEE! And oh, man, it feels so good to have it so short! It's not tickling my neck or bugging me anymore! YAYAYAY! Ahem. After that, mom took me to Panera and we got coffees and chatted. Then she had to stop at her office and make some copies and send some faxes (LIKE A BOSS) and then she had a 3:00 appointment. I read more of LoA in the car and it was amazing. <3

Once mom was done with her appointment (around 4:30), we went to Olive Garden for dinner! It was delicious, as usual, and we GOT the usual, lol, including dessert and coffee! :D Oh, I made some jokingly jerkish comment to mom and she said that *points to title*. XD Teehee! And then we finally went home (making it back just in time for Jeopardy!). WHOOT.

AND, I got my last order from Etsy in the mail today: one of the bitchinest things I've ever seen! I'm actually wearing it in my "After" haircut pictures up there ^^^; it's a button made from my Twitter background! As in, I HAVE MINI PICS OF STEPHEN COLBERT ON A CUTE LITTLE BUTTON. <3 I'm so ecstatic, lol! Here, have another couple of pictures, won't you?

The Pink Samurai says... )

It's a little hard to see the Stephen Colbert pics from the pictures I took, but it's a little easier to see in person, lol. :] Um, so let's see. Now we're watching WifeSwap and taping Prison Break to watch later. Oh, hey, so...I've talked to mom and we believe it'd be best for everyone if we postponed the NYC trip til we live closer. We could kinda use the money for moving and stuff, so I'm fine with that.

I honestly am cool with it, it'll be a lot easier to go once we live only an hour away in a couple months, ya know? So it's all good. THAT MEANS, though, that I have tickets to The Daily Show for Tuesday, June 9th, and I'd like to give you guys first dibs before I post them as available on [info]tds_tcr_standby. So if anyone wants 'em, COMMENT BELOW.

Also, if someone's been through this before, how does one get one's tickets? Like, do they hold them for you at the studio or do they mail them to you or email them to you or wut-the-wut? Any and all info=helpful! XD

Oops! My Liver Slipped!
Hello people!

One more day til the weekend, one more day til the weekend...

I slept fairly well last night, thankfully, although I didn't go to bed til 12:30 cuz I finally worked on my story for MindCandy. I didn't take it in the direction I want it to go, so I have to edit it, but at least I got some writing done (a page!). Myth was kinda fun today. We still read The Iliad and all that, but Mr. Shoemaker joked around a bit when we read a line that said, "Out his liver slipped..."

Mr. Shoemaker joked that your liver sounds like it should "plop" out or something, not "slip," as if it was just some random accident. Hence the title, of course, lol. I completely spaced on asking him why I have a D, so I'll have to do that tomorrow. Oh, and I got my interim today and I have a D in math and a B+ in AmLit. The B+ is surprising enough, since I had an A in there not two weeks ago.

But I figured with all my homework-doing and all the at-least-B's I've been getting on my math tests/quizzes, I'd at least have a C in math by now. Meh, sadface. Anwyho, we took some notes in math that made absolutely no sense. *shrugs* What else is new? We kinda were kinda weren't assigned homework. He said to try the problems, but nobody will have done them, I guarantee it.

We also got a test back from last week and I got a B on it. YAY. I also completed all the homework I had to make up, as well as made up that quiz from yesterday (which I'm confident about)! :D I LOVE the feeling of being caught up. I feel so accomplished, lol. In AP Gov., we had an AP Exam practice test, and you had to take it whether you were taking the exam or not (I'm not). Grr.

It wasn't as hard as Messick's tests, I don't think, lol, but still. Blah. And I didn't get to make up the quiz cuz of that test, so I have to make it up tomorrow in class. DOUBLE BLAH. Um, let's see...oh, in AmLit, we had a reading day, but I read Looking for Alaska instead of Huck Finn. I'm gonna download the chaps of the Huck Finn audiobook I found online and listen to 'em tonight.

I had to go take pics of kids who are gonna be in MindCandy (the literary arts mag) in MindCandy (the class), lol. Olivia came with me so I wouldn't have to be alone. When we were done, we chilled back in class with Brian and Robbins and chatted about the latest issue of the Panther Press. There was an article about texting being impersonal, which made us all laugh.

If texting's impersonal (the argument was cuz it's not face-to-face), doesn't that make writing a letter or an email impersonal, too, lol? LAME.There were also book recs, all of which were about suicide or death or depression. HILARIOUSNESS, imo. I would've rec'd John Green or Michael Crichton, but heaven forbid people at school read something interesting.

Not that they'd read any of the books rec'd in the paper since the majority hates recreational reading anyway, but whatevs. This guy, Mr. Volzer, stops into our classroom every now and then to say hi to Robbins cuz they're buddies and Volzer's class is across the hall. Well, he came by today and noticed my tattoos (I wore a tank-top today) and was like, "Wow! Are those real?"

And I nodded and he said something like, "These kids today are insane," (jokingly) and Robbins was like, "She's a beast!" It was fun. XD Yeah, lame story is lame. Um, so, I stayed after to make up my math quiz and then dad picked me up and took me home where I had a hot dog for lunch and then played The Sims all afternoon cuz I finished my homework! WHOOT!

OH WAIT before I go on. Remember how I got a box of business cards for Examiner.com and my Stephen Colbert examining? XD Well, I brought a small stack with me to school today and gave (almost) everyone in MindCandy a card and told them to go to my page and read my articles. And they all thought it was really cool and some of them are interested in working for Examiner! :D <3

Okay, so, I posted that new vid last night, and I also posted about how I'd really love it if you guys could please, please, please vote for me in that contest. I emailed everyone in my address book about it, including (accidentally) my parents, and dad said to me this afternoon, "I saw your video." and I was like, "Oh, really?" and he said, "Yeah. You should've been louder!"

I proceeded to explain that it was midnight when I recorded that so I couldn't really shout my head off or anything. And he said, "Well, still." and I said, "I sent you that before, ya know..." (which I did, back when I was desperate for votes in the beginning of the contest), and he said, "Yeah, I know, but all that registration and stuff and another password to remember and blah..."

So I connected the dots and realized he didn't vote for me this time even though he watched my vid. So I said, "You didn't even vote for me?! GO VOTE NOW." And he did. YAY. Wow, I'm just chock-fulla pointless stories today. *facepalm* Oh, I've been meaning to say this for a while: lately, we've been having INCREDIBLY cute subs at our school. Like, really really cute, lol. <3

I haven't had any of them for subs, but I've seen them in the halls and yeah. I wish I had them as subs, LOL. XD Um, yeah. I think this is hysterical. It might not be around tomorrow (nerimon's removing some of his vids to make space) so watch it now! Ugly Betty's new tonight. I think we might tape it and watch Bones. Cuz Bones is more important.

OMG guys. I have a hair appointment tomorrow and I'm getting my hair cut to CHIN-LENGTH. It's gonna be really short! Not Maddow short, lol, but short for me! I'm kind of ridiculously excited. XD

I Shouldn't Have Believed Him Cuz He's 12
Hello people!

I actually (finally) slept well last night.

I woke up around 11:30 and went to say hi to mom and dad. They made me some popcorn chicken and then had to go to the store, so I went back to my room and watched some judge shows. Then I figured I should watch the latest ep of Sit Down, Shut Up that I DVR'd last night. OMG, guys, I pretty much love that show, lol. It's stupid and inappropriate and I really, really love it.

After that, I watched ABC Family for a few hours. I listened to some random music and wrote a little bit, but that's really about it. Mom and dad came home with ice cream (for when I feel better), ice pops (which I can totally eat), and Gobstoppers. I LUH DEM. XD I've already eaten about half my Gobstoppers, lol, and I've gone through a couple glasses of orange juice. Unfortunately, I don't taste much. :(

Oh! I also got two of the three things I ordered from Etsy in the mail today: my TV necklace (it's so cute! :D) and my Twitter Addict buttons. I already put one of the buttons on my bag, but I'm saving my necklace for college, lol, or just to wear at school in secret since mom and dad can't really know that I bought it. X} I still haven't gotten the third thing but I'll prolly get it sometime this week.

Okay, so, TCR has started putting up tickets for July. I have lost all hope for my NYC trip. I told mom about it and she suggested I write to Stephen and tell him how big a fan I am and that I wish I could see him that week. I'm asking you guys: should I? Cuz I don't see a point to it. It's like making someone feel guilty just to make them feel guilty. Nothing productive can come of it. Right?

I dunno, I mean, maybe I could get an autograph or something but still, telling Stephen that I'm a huge fan and how sad I am that I don't get to see him that week cuz it's prolly when he's going to the Persian Gulf and I'm happy for him but it's not like I can go there whenever I want and "aww, poor me" just seems lame. Who's right and who's wrong? What should I do? Someone help me, lol.

Oh, dudes, I had this AWESOME idea a while ago and I wanna get it down somewhere. Tell me what you guys think. Okay, so, people miss school all the time, right? People who get sick might not want to miss school, but they don't really have a choice. What if schools could set up a live-vlogging system (like BlogTV) where they could stream their classes online?

Then, if someone stayed home sick, they could still get the notes and explanation from the teacher by getting online! There would still be a limit (like, our school has a six-day limit; if you miss more than six days, you fail) so that people wouldn't just stay home whenever they wanted to, but still. I mean, webcams are fairly cheap (mine cost around $15) and I think it would really help.

So, what do you guys think? Good idea? Stupid idea? Any ways I could improve this idea? I'd love to present it to the administration, but I'm nervous cuz I don't really know how we could do it. The rooms are set up so that the teacher's desk (with the computer) is next to the chalkboard, which, unless you have a webcam with a long cord, makes it hard to show the notes...

Anywho, um, title of this post is from What I Like About You; this guy said it to Holly after saying, "I wish I'd met you a month ago, cuz then I would've met you sooner..." and then Holly looked at him all weird and he said, "...I'm sorry, my brother told me that line was gold." And then he said that *points to title*. XD It was pretty funny at the time, lol. Then again, the medicine might be making me loopy.

Speaking of medicine, I don't think I'm better enough to go back to school tomorrow, but I only have one day left that I can miss and if I miss tomorrow, there's no way in Hell I can miss Senior Skip Day. I dunno. I really don't wanna go now cuz I still feel like shit (except I feel worse cuz now I seem to be wheezing a bit) and I just wanna sleep and not walk around school and cough on people.

Ya know, I remember hearing a story a bit ago about water in the U.S. being contaminated by something (though I didn't read by what) in Texas and the states surrounding it. It was suspected that it came from Mexico. Can the Swine Flu be spread via water? Cuz all this talk about Swine Flu coming from Mexico and being in those Southern states is reminding me of that news story (which got no attention, btw).

Blah. Oh, wait, before I go, I thought this was a really cool idea and once we're out of orange juice, I'm totally doing it. Okay, the end.

Not-So-Urgent Fangirl Bulletin: Totally UnFangirly Edition
Hello people!

Well, it took a MONTH I know, I so epically fail for me to get off my ass and get back to work on Examiner, but I FINALLY wrote my fourth article. What inspired me? I recieved my business cards in the mail today! They're so pretty and I love them and I felt so guilty for not working, lol.

LOOK HOW PURTY )

Here's my latest article. It's about Stephen and the DonorsChoose.org/Gates Foundation event he recently attended. More info (and adorable pics!) can be found on NFZ, of course.

Views and comments are always appreciated! <3

You're Just a Murderous Wench, Aren't You?
Hello people!

YAY! HAPPY ZOMBIE JESUS DAY! :D

I know I had dreams last night and I remembered them when I woke up, but now I only remember one small thing. In my sleep, I dreamt that dad woke me up at 10:30. Yes, I had a dream about being woken up. *shrugs* Mom actually got me up at 9:13 this morning, saying, "A Mr. E.B., esquire, stopped by last night and left a package for you in the living room." XD She's so silly.

So I got up, pulled on some pants, lol, and went into the hallway, where Nick and I were led into the living room by teh rents. The coffee table was covered in that awesome colored grass and a good amount of stuff for us, lol. There were a TON of these amazing gumballs that are shaped like eggs (we get them every year, we LOVE them). There were also a ton of Reese's and Crunch eggs.

I got: Psych season 2 on DVD, a Starbucks gift card for $15, a cute Volkswagon Hot Wheels, that adorable puppy keychain I mentioned a little while ago, a Toblerone bar, a package of Airheads, a bag of butterscotches, and a container of 12 of those bottled Starbucks frappucinos that I love oh so much! :D They got that at Sam's Club and I LOVE THEM FOR IT. I've already had two coffees today, lol!

I kinda wish they'd gotten me Paper Towns so I could read some more John Green, but still. I'm grateful for everything I got. <3 We watched a little bit of "Mary Poppins," which was on ABC Family ("Sound of Music" is on at 7:00 tonight), then some Paranormal State (I know, lol, kinda silly to watch that on Easter, but whatevs). I made a lotta Zombie Jesus jokes today and mom was not amused.

I'm still LOL'ing over her reaction to it. She's not a hardcore religious person, but she doesn't like Jesus or God jokes that are kinda offensive, lol. *shrugs* Dad thought they were hilarious. XD We snacked on some deviled eggs (HA! HA! HA!...IRONY) and this awesome bread and cream cheese spread mom makes every now and then while watching vids made by Improv Everywhere.

I thought of a possible idea for our senior prank (since no one's come up with anything): what if we did a silent rave? Do you guys know about those? Basically, you get a bunch of people together (usually in a public place like Central Park or something), all of them bring their MP3 players, and everyone just listens to their own music and dances in a huge group together. Silently. I think they sound awesome.

Anywho, what if the entire senior class picked a specific time, like, 10:00 AM, and once the clocks struck ten, we'd all stand up and start dancing for, like, five minutes. I don't think we could actually listen to our MP3 players, since they're not allowed in school, but we could all just stand up and dance. I think it'd be hilarious but I dunno if it'll actually catch on or be approved by the people running everything.

*shrugs* Just an idea. :] Um, so, yeah, after the vids we watched, I was super bored, so I asked if I could play Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow out in the living room and teh rents said sure, so I did that for two or so hours. It was fun, I got pretty far! And I love that game, so YAY. <3 OH! And we watched "The Emperor's New Groove," which we haven't watched in years and used to be our fave movie.

It was hilarious, I LOVE Patrick Warburton in it. Speaking of movies, we watched "Yes Man" last night and OMG, I totally spaced on its hilarity! It was so damn funny! And if Jim Carrey acts like his character in that movie (and in Liar, Liar and The Mask and other movies, I'm sure), then I bet he's an amazing boyfriend. He's just so sweet and lovable. And really? I think he's kinda cute. <3

AHEM. Title of this post is something dad said to me while I played Splinter Cell cuz I kept shooting guys in the head instead of just knocking them out, lol. Oh, jeez, Colbert fans: if you haven't read this fanfic, you really, REALLY should, lol. It's Stephen Colbert/Phil Ken Sebben (Stephen's character from Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law) and it's so fucking funny! Seriously, READ IT. ;]

P.S. Do you like my icon? It's Toby Turner! :D <333

EDITGLENN BECK COMEDY TOUR?!?! Okay, wait, is this legit? Is it news, or was it already covered on TDS/TCR and I just haven't caught up yet?

He Could Sing About Cyanide and It Would Be Sexy
Hello people!

I don't recall any dreams from last night. Not even a teeny detail. *shrugs*

Myth sucked, we had a sub (THE LATIN LADY!) and we did a worksheet. Blah. I just realized that link doesn't explain WHO the Latin Lady is, so here ya go: when the Latin Lady subs for you, she writes a Latin phrase on the board and makes the entire class figure out what English words came from each Latin word in the phrase. It usually takes ten-fifteen minutes, depending on how lazy the class is.

It didn't take us too long this morning, cuz there's some kids in myth that are all about answering questions, so, yeah. Um, in math, we took a quiz and I really think I did well. *crosses fingers* That took pretty much all period. We did current events in AP Gov., which was super fun, as always. For the first time a while, no one had heard of my current event yet! :D It was this, which I still find hilarious, haha.

In AmLit, we took a quiz over the story we read yesterday. Unfortunately, I don't remember as much as I thought from the story and pretty much failed the quiz, lol. S'okay, twas just a minor thing. I have an A+ in that class, anyway, it won't hurt me much. Today was Cecil's last day in MindCandy and it was kinda sad. I mean, we celebrated him being our sub but I'm def gonna miss seeing him every day. :(

We talked some more about movies and Cecil gave us this AMAZING assignment: come up with at least 15 songs (try to limit yourself to less than 20) that had some kind of influence on your life and put them on a CD. Then, we'll bring them in and trade and keep whatever CD we get and we can listen to it in a few years and be like, "Oh, yeah, that was so-and-so's CD from MindCandy!"

I'm so excited! I finished my CD and now I'm decking it out all awesome-like, lol. Here's what I put on my CD (came out to 23 songs, lol):

A compilation of memories...in song )

I wound up naming my CD what I'm gonna name my original songs CD (once I get that going), "10 Inches Too High." I'm so excited to play the music for everyone (we're prolly gonna do that either next week or the last week of school). Anywho, so, I had to leave at noon so Chris could give me a ride home cuz teh rents couldn't pick me up. I did get Cecil's email, though! YAY! <333

OH! I asked Adams which song I should use from the Colbert Christmas Special, "Nutmeg" or "What's So Funny (Bout Peace Love and Understanding)?" He said, "Nutmeg. FOR SURE." and I laughed and explained how mom says that nutmeg is the sexiest spice now all the time and Adams was like, "John Legend could sing about cyanide and it would be sexy." XD SO TRUE.

Moving on. I got home around...1:00-ish, a little later than that, methinks, and watched some vids on YouTube. Then I recorded this:

All Sonic has to do, is get the rings in front of him... )

That was a song from Sonic the Hedgehog (though I'm still not sure which game...one, maybe?): Labyrinth Zone. I came up with the lyrics while watching Nick play, like, eight years ago, lol. I remembered it today and was like, "OMG I SHOULD POST THAT." XD So I did. You can read the lyrics if you click on the video while it's playing and check the sidebar on YouTube.

Ahem. After that, I compiled my CD and burned it and now you're caught up. Nick and I promised each other we'd hold off giving mom and dad our report cards til today (they came out two weeks ago, remember?), but teh rents forgot about the report cards (we'd told them they came out today), so we're holding off longer. Just until teh rents remember that we were sposed to get them, LOL.

I've decided not to go to prom. I'd have no boy OR friends to go with and I know I wouldn't have a good time. So, yeah. :\

So, any ideas? It's okay if you don't, I'll just have to catch up on eps this weekend and recap those, I guess. :} ANYWHO. Thanks whether you can help me or not! <3

Please Be a Serial Killer
Hello people!

Man, this is hard to focus on...

I, um. I don't remember if I dreamt about anything...myth was boring, we read more of The Iliad. In math, we did more notes and whatnot. Blahblahblah. We went over a few court cases in AP Gov. and found out that our test, which we were sposed to take tomorrow, isn't til Monday! And the note cards we had to do aren't due til Monday, either! WHOOT WHOOT!

We pretended not to know about it, however, and played a trick on Henry. XD It was pretty funny, Henry got fairly annoyed. LOL. In AmLit, we had our test. Twas SUPER easy. Like, ridiculously easy. YAY! MindCandy was super fun, as usual. God, so much happened, I'm finding it hard to recall details, lol. We talked about TV shows, and Cecil recommended Twin Peaks and Freaks & Geeks to us.

We also discussed movies, and Cecil told us about this one he saw in high school (I think...) called, "Rubin and Ed." It sounds so funny, I would love to see it! I'm gonna try to find it. We talked about Stephen King and his movies and "It" and how freaky that was, and Cecil informed us that there was a scene in the book where the group of friends has an orgy. I didn't know that, lol. X]

It was chock full'a fun and we had a grand ol' time, of course, but I can't remember our conversations. I know. I suck. *shakes head* Dad picked me up and wound up picking Nick up too, cuz apparently, "he felt sick." I think he was lying. Prolly avoiding a test or something. But dad picked him up anyway. Then mom called and said she was in a plaza about ten minutes from school.

She asked if I wanted to come spend a few hours with her while she exchanged her shoes in for a smaller size and tried to find a new shirt for a job interview. Dad dropped me off at the plaza and mom and I went to Big Boy's for lunch. Not exactly the best place to go, but the food was surprisingly delicious! I got chicken fingers and french fries and a little mashed potatoes cuz I got two sides with the chicken.

It was hot and good and I really liked it. I didn't really like the people, lol, they were kinda...well, hickish, but still. Good food. We stopped at KOHL'S after that to find a shirt for mom, but I didn't find anything (even in the sale sections!). *sadface* I hate leaving stores empty-handed, LOL. I wanna get a men's button-down shirt and a men's vest to try out a style I saw on Kiefer. It looks really cool!

That was kinda random, lol, sorry. Anywho, after that, we went home. A while ago, mom ordered this freaking amazing book for me and it came in the mail today! :D *SQUEE* We spent about two (maybe three?) hours talking about financial aid and living on my own in college. It costs $1200 to have your own dorm, and freshmen don't usually get to live by themselves. SUCKISH.

I desperately wanted to be able to actually have some alone time since I've been living with people for the past eighteen years of my life and this was sposed to be new and different, lol, but oh well, I spose. Not much I can do about it, lol. Oh, I saw this a while ago, but forgot about it and shoebox linked to it yesterday, so I made one! You should make one, too! I'm posting it here, but tis also in my profile.

CONSIDER YOURSELF ON NOTICE! )

I hate April Fools Day, really. I'm incredibly gullible and usually fall for whatever trick is played on me. Like LJ's ridiculously cruel trick they played (a little early) last night. HATED IT. It really kinda pissed me off, lol. Also, YouTube is drunk and has fallen off its bar stool. Thankfully, no pranks were played on me at school. And no one at home would ever do pranks, lol.

Um...that's about it. Oh, the title of this post is from Monday night's Rules of Engagement episode. OMG it was so hilarious. Jeff was talking to his wife, Audrey, and found out they had to go to a shitty dinner party, so Jeff was all bummed. The doorbell rang, and Jeff said that. *points to title* OH TEH LULZ. <3

Someone's American Dream...My Nightmare
Hello people!

I woke up in a terrible mood and feeling sickish. I intended to do my homework today. Fully intended to. Until I tried to find my papers and instructions for it and found out I lost all of them. I had them the last day of school before break, but I have no idea where they are now. After an hour of searching, I decided to give up. If I lose points, I lose points. Oh-the-fuck-well.

I'm back in that mood where I don't care about grades anymore, but I know I can't just let my homework go. I have to keep my grades up, this is the first time I've gotten A's, like, all year. If I can just get math up and keep AP Gov. at at least a B, I'll be fine. *breathes* Okay, okay, I'm done with this now. Um, I ate some toast, but I still felt sick and now I'm starving but I'm afraid to eat.

I listened to music for a while and pretty much just sat in my room doing nothing all day. I spent, like, an hour or so looking at pics of Kiefer on the greatest fan site ever, Kiefer-Rocks. I know there's the National Portrait Gallery for Stephen, but those pics aren't very good or clear, imo. He deserves something better. An all-inclusive fan-site with info AND pics, just like Kiefer-Rocks.

Back when Tyrone wasn't working well enough for me to even turn him on, I had to delete a bunch of stuff to free up space, including my folder of Kiefer pics. It made me sad. But I'm slowly rebuilding my collection, lol. That sounds really creepy. Ahem. Moving on. I posted that awesome picspam of hotness and then mom, dad and I started watching the Dexter eps we rented yesterday.

Title of this post is something Dex said. Hilarious. Oh, I also think it was pretty damn funny when he asked the couple he was about to kill for love advice on his relationship with Rita, lol. XD Love this show. Not much else is going on, really. I still feel like crap and I desperately don't wanna go to school tomorrow. Maybe I'll skip. Worsen my sickness. I dunno.

I love this song so much.

I haven't caught up on the boys yet. I am in no mood to laugh. Haven't watched 24 either. Don't feel like it. Kay, that's it. I dunno what's gonna happen tomorrow, if I'm gonna go to school or not. If I post in the morning, I stayed home. If not, reg blog posting at reg time tomorrow. Oh. I'm also starting a month-long workout tomorrow. I don't want to, but I could stand to flatten my stomach a little bit, at least.

Blah.

Hello people!

HEY LOOK. MY THIRD ARTICLE. TIS DONE.

This one's about Stephen's trip to the Persian Gulf. I was able to check my views yesterday and I had gotten 582. That's awesome, but I realized that I'm paid one cent for every view, lol. So I only made five dollars. XD BUT HEY. It's better than nothing, right?

Hope you guys like it! Expect another one, prolly tomorrow, I was sposed to write four this week. :}

Hello people!

OKAY, LONG, DETAILED, DRAWN-OUT DREAM TIME. Yet again. I think I might perhaps cut this one cuz these are getting ridiculous and you must be sick of hearing about my stupid meaningless dreams, lol. SO. ONWARD HO.

I wonder if my thinking about him before I went to sleep made me dream about him... )

I finished watching "Eye of the Killer" last night and whew! It was pretty good. Totally weird, but definitely good. And Jason Jones was in it! :D A small role, but still! Here, see for yourself, lol! I slept til 10:30 today, which is actually not an awful time to get up, so I was pleased with that. I spent the next couple of hours online, watched some TV, beat Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow for the millionth time. <3

At noon-ish, dad came home and picked me up to take me to the movies to meet up with mom so she and I could see MONSTERS VS ALIENS! :DDD Ahem. First, though, we stopped at Chick-Fil-A and got some lunch to bring into the theater. There were at least twenty or so, maybe more, little kids there, of course, but it actually wasn't that bad, or that crowded. And ZOMG. TEH MOVEH.

I loved it. I mean, I really loved it. It was fucking hilarious! The title of this post is something Stephen's character says, but it's in commercials I've seen, so I don't consider it a spoiler, lol. Not only was I laughing a lot (especially at Seth Rogen's parts, and I hate the guy, so that's saying something), but MOM was laughing, too! She LOVED it. To the point that she would see it again. And THAT'S saying something, LOL!

:D I'm so stoked that she loved it so much, and seriously, if you didn't see it today, you need to go see it ASAP, cuz it's hysterical. Everyone did a fantastic job and I'm so glad my men all did this movie. <333 *LOVES ON TEH BOYZ* If only Jon had had a part, that would've been absolutely perfect! Alas. Another time, another movie. We considered actually seeing it a second time today, but decided against it. X]

After the movie, mom had an appointment, so we went to that. Then, around 5:00, we went to Panera for dinner. Got the ushe, of course, sans the danish, though, cuz they didn't make those today. The coffee was superb, however. MMMMM. COFFEE. Following our food outing, we decided to stop by Payless (mom needed work shoes) and Target (just for fun).

I got some bitchin new flippy-floppies (XD). They're black and have flames and a skull on 'em! :D SO COOL. At Target, we got in the mood for fun stuff, so mom and I got some root beer, vanilla ice cream, some coffee breakfast bars, and some candy. We're gonna have root beer floats in a bit! Haven't had one of those in a long time, so I'm lookin' forward to that, hehe! <3

Then we came home. I think I'm gonna watch some 24 and do some homework I should've done a week ago, lol, and just chill the rest of the night. I still feel like playing a video game, but I already beat both Splinter Cells this week and I don't really have much else that I haven't already played a hundred bajillion times. *shrugs* Oh, well. Love me some shoutin', terrorist-shootin' Kiefer.

And then, tomorrow, I'm gonna catch up on Jon and Stephen and watch this past week's ep (and last ep of the season) of Important Things. Oh, speaking of Demetri, he's gonna be on Letterman tonight at 12:35 (obviously, if you watch Letterman, you know what time it starts, lol). AND, Dana Carvey's gonna be on Leno (at 11:35). But watch out; Billy Mays is gonna be on Leno, too. :O

I was watching YouTube, and I saw some videos of celebs being asked to sign autographs, and it kind of disgusted me. I mean, the celebs are totally gracious and nice about giving the autographs and taking pics with people, but it seems like all the fans are really rude. They just thrust their papers and pics in front of the celebs' faces and yell at them and call them by their first name and...I dunno. It just seems so incredibly rude.

Oh, goodness me, you know what I forgot? I got another college rejection letter today. This time from Bard, which is in New York. That one was a teeny bit more painful than Emerson, but still not too bad. And actually, the more I learn about Green Mountain College, the more I look forward to attending. I hope I don't get rejected by NYU, *KNOCK ON WOOD*, but even if that happens, at least I can go to GMC. <3

Ya know what really annoys me? When people don't read profiles. What's the point of filling in a profile if no one's gonna take the goddamn time to read it? Like it's THAT hard? Anywho. ENOUGH OF THAT. XD

Hello people!

I just finished my second article, WHOOT WHOOT! :D I checked my site stats and, apparently, I've only gotten seven views. That's totally not gonna cut it; at this rate, I'll never get paid, LOL. *shakes head* At least I get to write about my love, lol. <3

ANYWHO. ARTICLE TWO. ARTICLE TWO. ARTICLE TWO. All about the NASA node-naming contest this time around. I think I might hold off on the Persian Gulf thing until this week is over and maybe til Stephen comments on his time there. Maybe. I'm not sure.

I do need to write up another article by tomorrow. And then another by the end of Saturday. Hey, speaking of things that are awesome: I got a comment from Toby Turner (if you read this, you should know by now that I freaking love the guy, lol) on my YouTube channel:

Photobucket

DUDES. MY YOUTUBE HERO CALLED ME A HERO. <3 YAYAYAY! XD Ahem. Anywho, please please please take a minute to read through my article? If you have time? Please? KTHXBAI. X]
