Hell Is Other People...And Lack of Internet
Hello people!

I slept til 11:00 today. It was wonderful.

I took a shower and then got online and chilled, really. Tyrone worked fine all morning but now he's having some problems. My poor baby! *pets Tyrone* He really confuses me, too. Cuz now, he's working fine. *knock on wood* I don't understand. He'll still prolly have to go see the computer doctor.

Anywho, I made myself a sandwich for lunch (it was delicious) and then mom came home. We cleaned out her car cuz he has to take it back to work tomorrow and return it to her boss. Now we're short a car. *worried look* Hopefully, she'll buy one soon. We've been looking.

We found a shitload of candy in baggies in a box in the garage that mom had bought to put out at vet places a year ago, but it was wrapped stuff (like bubble gum and sweet tarts) so they were in perfect condition. So we had some gum, lol. And I stocked up on candy. WHOOT! :D

We came inside and I checked out my subscriptions on YouTube and saw that Roy Zimmerman uploaded a new song. It ROCKS. It's called, "I Approve This Message." I love it muchly. I think I have to buy his CD, lol. <3 So, then, mom and I made some popcorn and started watching "The Secret of My Success" until dad came home.

Dad's got a new buddy, Jeff, who sits next to him at work. Well, Jeff helped dad bring home some Halloween stuff that wouldn't fit in dad's car, so we got to meet Jeff. He's really nice! And he hugged me when we met, lol. That made me feel special. XD I don't usually get random hugs like that. We chatted for a very short time and then Jeff left. We decided to go out to dinner and stop at that vintage store I mentioned yesterday.

The name of the vintage store is Chaos Theory Vintage (see? isn't that name awesome?). They have SO MUCH cooly stuff. I got three beautiful ties (that cost me $20 freakin bucks! kinda expensive, but still cooly) and this kick-ass coat that's about knee-length (it's a men's coat) that dad bought for me. I wanted a hat, but I ran outta cash, lol. *shrugs* And we checked for cowboy boots for my costume, but they didn't have the right kind.

Then we checked Packrat Comics again and they had the right issue of Spidey, but it was one of the shitty covers (it's got a freakish version of the Green Goblin on it) instead of Stephen and Spidey. Oh, well. But yeah, the geek in me is FLIPPING OUT over how awesome this is, lol.

We stopped in at a video game store and checked out their PS1 games and they had Cool Boarders 3, which I used to love, and Tomb Raider III, which I wanted to buy a few months ago but didn't have the money to. And Nick and I love those games, so yay! XD We're gonna play it later tonight or tomorrow.

We got some chicken fingers for dinner and then came home and that's about it, lol. The title of this post (well, the first part of the title) is something Sartre said. <3 I heard it on Cash Cab. And it's epically true. And the second part (the internet thing) is something I added on. Cuz it's also true. XD And OMG, on Cash Cab yesterday, the answer to one of the questions was shiv! And I knew it from SWC! :D And mom didn't know it! LOL! WIN!

I made a vid last night about Halloween. So...enjoy, lol.

This is Halloween, this is Halloween... )

He's Ancient, He's Ugly, I Dunno Which Is Worse
Hello people!

For the past...I'd guesstimate two weeks...I've ignored my alarm clock and slept an extra 6-10 minutes until dad comes to get me up. Today, he said, "Did you even set your alarm?" I said, "Ngyuh" ("yes"). He said, "Did you get up and turn it off?" and I replied, "Nguhn." ("meh"). I should prolly start actually getting up to it again.

Anywho, photo was fun; we took our developed pictures and put them up on a wall, then people complimented them critiqued them. My pic of Taco (dog) in his stupid little Halloween costume (don't even ask, guys) and my pic of the birdfeeders in our front yard (trust me, it looks cooler than it sounds) got a buncha good compliments! So, yay! Happy me! XD

Math was boring. We did stuff. LOL! That's all you need to know. In AP Gov., we got into our respective groups and discussed how we'd handle the press conference for our candidates come Monday. We decided that we'd address the economy, specifically Obama's tax plans. And then we spent the rest of class watching McCain/Palin adds on their site. They're pretty funny, guys. If you haven't seen 'em, go watch 'em. The "Dr. No" one is the best.

In forensics, we watched a National Geographic special on meth, which was disgusting. It was really gross. But I have little pity for the so-called, "victims" of meth. They all chose to do it. No one forced it on them. Whatever happened to them is their own faults. That sounds mean, but whatever (name that movie). *shrugs*

MindCandy was, by far, the best. We had our party today! I had chips (which I brought in), cake, carrots with ranch dressing, a cookie, a piece of pizza, and some water, not necessarily in that order, lol. It was SO EFFING GOOD. And we watched The Nightmare Before Christmas, which is ALWAYS fantastic. The title is from teh movie, of course; it's party of Oogie Boogie's song that he sings to Santa Claus. I just love that movie. <3

Mom picked me up and we stopped at a comic book store cuz I wanted to get the new Spidey with Stephen in it, but they didn't have it there. Does anyone know when the comic is/was ACTUALLY released? And if you got it, could you tell me where you got yours, please? I'm gonna hunt for it this weekend, if I can. Unfortunately, no comic book stores anywhere in town carry Tek Jansen. I have to get those from Amazon. That's okay.

Ooh, but in the same plaza as the comic book store (Packrat Comics), there was this AWESOME vintage store whose name I can't remember right now, but it was super cool. And I REALLY wanted to go in, but they weren't open yet. They have the WEIRDEST hours. Weekly, it's open 3-7 PM, Saturday, it's open 1-5 PM, and it's closed on Sundays and Mondays. I know, totally obscure. But it looks SO cool, I really wanna go.

So, anywho, we stopped at the store to get some stuff to make Tortilla Soup just like Max & Erma's, and then we went home. Mom made me some delicious hot chocolate cuz it's FREEZING today (WHOOT!). Then she made the tortilla soup and it was SO EFFING GOOD. Holy crap, guys, it's sooooo amazing. I had two bowls, lol. And we finished the first season of "Samantha Who?". I absolutely love that show. Christina Applegate is adorable.

Uh...right, then we picked Nick up from the cafe cuz he chilled with his friend there for a while. When we got home, mom and I had another cup of hot chocolate and watched Cash Cab. Whoot! There's a lotta TV on tonight; Ugly Betty, Kitchen Nightmares, Supernatural (and for mom, Grey's Anatomy and Life on Mars). LOTSA stuff.

Ooh, mom sent me this link to a thing about stupid Americans not being able to answer three simple questions. The biggest reason she sent it to me is cuz they mention the audiences of TDS and TCR! :D HELL YES. Here's the article, if you wanna read it. It's fairly interesting and kinda disheartening at the same time.

I think that's it...oh! I have tomorrow off! I can sleep in, FINALLY! I'm sleeping til 9:00, at least! Yay inservice days! Also, I'm not sure how to carve my pumpkin this year. Last year, I did a Colbert-y kinda thing. So, what should I do this year? Keep in mind, something Colbert-themed is not out of the realm of possibilites. ;] But yeah, suggestions would be appreciated. And what are you guys gonna carve?

Purity Balls Have Been Held Throughout the Country

Hello people!

Guh. Today is so sluggishly suckish. I'm bored outta my frakkin mind, but I don't wanna do anything. *repeated headdesk*

Let's start with last night: as I stated, I went to see "When Harry Met Sally" with mom. It was a total blast! I'm so glad we went; it was really fun. And at one point, there was an intermission and people started getting up to go out to the bathroom or for food or something, ya know? But mom and I didn't need to do anything or get anything, so we stayed in our seats. I watched people walk by, and who should I see, but my anatomy teacher from this past year.

I had him the first half of the year and he wasn't one of my faves, but he was funny and I didn't mind him. I didn't say hi, though, and he never saw me, so it's fine. But yeah, it was kinda weird seeing my teacher there. After the show, mom and I went out for some food/coffee at Cracker Barrel. I got frakkishly delicious tortilla soup (it was the best tortilla soup I've ever had, I swear) and mom got blackberry cobbler, and we both got coffee after the food. It was good.

Cracker Barrel, incase you're unfamiliar with the place, sells candy and shirts and random stuff in one section of the building, which leads into the restaurant. We went to the little store place and I got this huge jawbreaker/gum lollipop thing (and it's sugaricially [yes, that's a word!] delicious). Then we blared music on the way home. It was really fun.

I think the tortilla soup gave me really bad heartburn, and actually, it mighta made my stomach hurt, too, cuz today, I felt crazy sick. I felt like I was gonna chuddy and I slept awful last night (heartburn kept waking me up). So, yeah, I felt like crap all day. We were gonna go see Mamma Mia, but mom doesn't really feel like it, so we're gonna go tomorrow, instead.

The title of this post is from an article in the latest issue of Time Magazine. I know it's not sposed to sound like it does, but come on. It's hilarious (if you don't get it, think about it for a second...). XD We've done nothing all day. Mom read her book, dad and Nick played "Return to Castle Wolfenstein," I lazed about online. That's it.

I wanna eat, but nothing sounds good. At all. Everything sounds nauseating. Oh, HEADS UP: if you haven't watched Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog yet, YOU NEED TO. It will be REMOVED tomorrow night at midnight, so WATCH IT! They will be releasing it on DVD in the future, so keep your eye out for that, but yeah, one more day!

I ordered a few things I prolly shouldn't have today (I used money from my savings account - don't tell mom!), but I wanted them, so I don't care. I got this amazing Spiderman novel - let me explain that real quick. You must be thinking, "It's Spiderman, how amazing can it be?" It's one of the best books I've ever read, lemme tell you. I read it about five or so years ago, but I loved it so much, I really wanted to get it back. I recommend it.

I also bought The Book of Poisons for my murder novel writing (it's the best poison book I've come across thus far), the Metal Gear Solid book (yes, the first game has been made into a book, lol), and the 1996 (I think?) made-for-TV version of Alice in Wonderland that my bro wants. Don't mock him, we used to love watching Alice in Wonderland together. Plus, this made-for-TV version is actually kinda scary, if I remember correctly. And his birthday's on Saturday, so I figured I should get him something (since he's been nagging me for Alice, I decided to buy that, lol).

Ugh. I guess that's it.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

I Found Out What It Is: It's a Commie-Fest, Man

Hello people!

I'm sitting in a cafe writing this blog because I have no clue when we'll get back home tonight so I have to get my post done now. It's gonna be kinda short cuz my mom doesn't want me to be, ya know, wasting my time here, plus, my computer's gonna die.

We rushed outta the house today and, again, this fest is a total bust. There's very few people here and it's dull as fuckin' school. So, hopefully, we can leave earlier than 11:00, which is when we're sposed to stay til (HELL FUCKIN NO).

My mom said she'd like for me to visit Germany next year, and I immediately thought of Hannah (bigfish05)! It'd be awesome to stay with her if I ever visited. She's really awesome, PLUS, fiance! :] <3 So I told my mom and she was like, "That would be awesome!" X]

The title of this blog is from a guy I passed at the Powell Fest. He was talking to his friend and I walked by and he said, "I found out what it is; it's a commie-fest, man." I don't really get the context of what he said, but does it matter? He said "commie." That's just funny.

My bro, Nick, found Spiderman (TV show from a little over ten years ago) and Scooby Doo and Rocket Power online and he's downloading all of them! YAY! I'm so excited. We used to watch Spiderman all the time but they cancelled the show before we could see the end of a two-part episode, and Nick said he's getting the end! :D

We're contemplating going home, like, now. I think we should. I'm gonna try my hardest to convince my parents to take me home NOW, lol.

This entry's super short. If I have time when I get home, I promise I'll update.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

Coffee is Like Crack to White People
Hello people!

Today was stressful due to my own guilt slamming me into the ground cuz of not doing my homework. I still have none of it done, but THANK FRANK, we have a SNOW DAY tomorrow! ;] I'll just do it then.

Man, I'm glad we have a snow day - I need the extra sleep. I'm also gonna watch my two weeks worth of TDS/TCR tomorrow, if I can.

I watched a new Spiderman show yesterday on the CW. It's okay. It's nowhere NEAR as good as The Amazing Spiderman from the '90's, the art sucks compared to the old kind, and Mary Jane isn't even in this one (it's Gwen Stacey, instead). But yeah, if I'm up by 10:00 AM next Saturday and have nothing else to do, I'll watch it.

ABC Family had a Bring It On-athon this weekend, and I'm watchin it right now. I dunno why, but I fucking love these movies. All of them. Although, I like Bring It On: All or Nothing less than the others. But yeah, they're all hilariously stupid that I can't help but like them. XD

I read about this awesome-sounding video game today called, "System Shock" (and "System Shock 2"). They're about this computer system thing that tries to take over the world and/or destroy the world. They sounded pretty freakin cool, so I went to Amazon to add them to my wish list. But that's where I found out that they were for the PC, and not even up-to-date computers, they're for Windows 98, lol. And since I hate computer games (and pretty much suck at them anyway), I was pretty bummed. Oh, well.

Last week, John Legend and Stephen Colbert sang, "The Girl is Mine" on The Colbert Report, and they were fucking great. John has a smooth, silky, kinda jazzy voice and can really play the piano. I hope he starts doing more jazzy, cafe-type music, cuz he would BEAST that kinda stuff (and I apologize for using the word "beast" when it's really unlike me, lol). And I think y'all know how I feel bout Colbert. SPECIALLY when he sings. He's got such a great voice, I wish he would release, like, a one-time CD for all us fangirls. I'd buy it! Although, I'd buy anything he put out, lol! :]

Incase you wanna hear and see it:

It's really great, even if you don't like Colbert, I think the song is really good.

My mom finally transferred the cash into my account and my rents are feeling better so they're not bein assholes as much anymore, lol. So yay! :D Although, I've decided against upgrading my LJ account. Mostly cuz it charges by the year and I figured I should hold off til college to see if I'm still doing this blog thing then, which I'm SURE I will be, cuz it's my total goal to do that. X]

Oh, man, my bro's life is way more complicated than I thought. Our walls are, like, paper thin, so I can pretty much hear his phone conversations, and yesterday, he was talking to some girl about how much he loved her and wants to marry her and doesn't want her to think that he doesn't love her. And he was like, "Are you still worried that I don't love you? Please don't worry. I do love you." and all I could do was sit there. I mean, I DESPERATELY wanna confront him about it, but I can't, cuz then he'll know that I was "eavesdropping" and I don't want him to hate me.

Man, I wonder how I can get my blog more publicity. Anyone have any suggestions? I have no idea how to get people to know about my blog, and I really want this to get popular. Man, it'd be great if more people at school would read this. I'll have to investigate ways to get myself known better.

I Was On a 3 Day X-Freak Out, So I Was Mostly Just Amused...

Hola people!

Tis FREITAG! Thank freaking Frank, SURRSLY.

Okay, so, I'm watching Jeopardy and there was a clue about Batman. I GOTTA say; Batman is SO FREAKING GAY!

Not gay like he likes guys (although I'm not sure about Robin...), but gay like such a total loser and not a superhero at all.

I've never liked Batman. He's just a rich guy with a belt, a butler, and a freakishly long (and strangely guy-part-shaped) car. Whoop-di-doodle.

Superman was born on another planet and had super-amazering powers.

Spiderman was bitten by a radioactive spider and had super-amazering powers.

Daredevil, the Fantastic Four, the Silver Surfer, Ironman, Tek Jansen, Wolverine, Cyclops, Spawn, Rogue, Storm, Wonder Woman, the Beast, etc.

SO MANY SUPERHEROES with SUPERPOWERS. Batman is a lame-ass wannabe and he should NOT be considered a superhero, lol.

Okay, so there's a little rant of insanity for ya.

I've got some Americone Dream ice cream and I do believe it's just about time for a Colbert-athon. :]

Anyone got anything to say? No? Alrighty then.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*
