We'd Like Permission to Search Your Pie
Hello people!

Last night, mom knocked on my door at 12:18 and said she couldn't sleep. She came in and we watched George Lopez for an hour, lol. She thought George was funny, but that the show isn't very good itself. *shrugs* At least she likes George! :D I went to sleep at 1:30 and didn't get up til 2:46 in the afternoon today. *shakes head* This entry will be short, lol, cuz I have done little to nothing today. XD

I hate that I slept so late, but I guess I needed the sleep or that wouldn't have happened. I took a shower, then mom and dad came home. They went to see Marley & Me (Nick backed out, surprise surprise) and got some groceries. They both said the movie was good, but I don't believe them, lol. Let's see. Then I did a load of laundry and took out my trash.

I watched last night's Monk (which I DVR'd cuz I didn't feel like watching it at the time). It was great! I LOVE Steve Zahn, so it was nice to see him, lol. And Monk was so sweet to him (...eventually, lol)! SO MUCH WIN. <3 Speaking of USA, Psych was pretty good last night. Silly, as usual, lol. And OOH! Shawn was talking to a dolphin in a secure area at night (he wasn't sposed to be there, don't ask, lol).

The dolphin started...squeaking?...making dolphin noises, lol, and Shawn was like, "Shhh! No! Pa does NOT love Fa!" And I was like, "OMFG. THAT'S FROM THAT THREAT DOWN I LOVE SO MUCH!" XD Excuse the crazy caps-lock. Anywho, I squee'd. This is why.

Cut because ComedyCentral's videos tend to glitch pages... )

Yeah, I freaking love that Threat Down. Moving on. I ate some toast and watched Monday's eps of TDS/TCR. They were GREAT. Jon was soooooo spot-on and the puppy thing AndyC did? SO ridiculous. I wonder how stupid he felt, lol. XD But it was cute, I admit that. And Stephen's hair? OMFG. I mean, OH MY FUCKING GOD. It was so beautiful. So fluffy and wonderful and sexy and I wanted to pet him and so much more.

Um...yeah. X] The show was pretty funny, of course. OH, and YAY Tek Jansen! :D Those are always hilarious. After that, I wanted to watch the Monk's Viewer's Choice marathon, so I caught a few eps of that. The title of this post is from one of the eps I've never seen before; one with Sharona (who I despise) where Monk helps his brother, Ambrose, solve a case about his neighbor. Twas a good one, lol.

Have I ever told you guys about my neighbor? I call him CIA Guy. He's practically never home and leaves at really weird times of day, that's why I call him CIA Guy, lol. Anyway, he just left his house...I wonder why. I don't recall seeing him come home, actually...gah, I wish I could watch this guy more, lol. That sounds really creepy, but it's interesting!

One time, he came home at 2:14 in the afternoon, stared at his tire for three minutes, went inside for four minutes, cleaned his dashboard with a wipe for three minutes, then left again! He was home for ten freaking minutes! I mean, it's so weird. And he's really cute, too, lol, so at least he's nice to look at when observing him...yeah, okay, I'm done now. Don't think I'm a freak, lol. :}

Oh, jeez, I sound so weird. *headdesk* ANYWHO. I gotta eat something, I feel light-headed...and slightly nauseous...? *shakes head* Sorry this is so late! It was hard to write.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

He's Ancient, He's Ugly, I Dunno Which Is Worse
Hello people!

For the past...I'd guesstimate two weeks...I've ignored my alarm clock and slept an extra 6-10 minutes until dad comes to get me up. Today, he said, "Did you even set your alarm?" I said, "Ngyuh" ("yes"). He said, "Did you get up and turn it off?" and I replied, "Nguhn." ("meh"). I should prolly start actually getting up to it again.

Anywho, photo was fun; we took our developed pictures and put them up on a wall, then people complimented them critiqued them. My pic of Taco (dog) in his stupid little Halloween costume (don't even ask, guys) and my pic of the birdfeeders in our front yard (trust me, it looks cooler than it sounds) got a buncha good compliments! So, yay! Happy me! XD

Math was boring. We did stuff. LOL! That's all you need to know. In AP Gov., we got into our respective groups and discussed how we'd handle the press conference for our candidates come Monday. We decided that we'd address the economy, specifically Obama's tax plans. And then we spent the rest of class watching McCain/Palin adds on their site. They're pretty funny, guys. If you haven't seen 'em, go watch 'em. The "Dr. No" one is the best.

In forensics, we watched a National Geographic special on meth, which was disgusting. It was really gross. But I have little pity for the so-called, "victims" of meth. They all chose to do it. No one forced it on them. Whatever happened to them is their own faults. That sounds mean, but whatever (name that movie). *shrugs*

MindCandy was, by far, the best. We had our party today! I had chips (which I brought in), cake, carrots with ranch dressing, a cookie, a piece of pizza, and some water, not necessarily in that order, lol. It was SO EFFING GOOD. And we watched The Nightmare Before Christmas, which is ALWAYS fantastic. The title is from teh movie, of course; it's party of Oogie Boogie's song that he sings to Santa Claus. I just love that movie. <3

Mom picked me up and we stopped at a comic book store cuz I wanted to get the new Spidey with Stephen in it, but they didn't have it there. Does anyone know when the comic is/was ACTUALLY released? And if you got it, could you tell me where you got yours, please? I'm gonna hunt for it this weekend, if I can. Unfortunately, no comic book stores anywhere in town carry Tek Jansen. I have to get those from Amazon. That's okay.

Ooh, but in the same plaza as the comic book store (Packrat Comics), there was this AWESOME vintage store whose name I can't remember right now, but it was super cool. And I REALLY wanted to go in, but they weren't open yet. They have the WEIRDEST hours. Weekly, it's open 3-7 PM, Saturday, it's open 1-5 PM, and it's closed on Sundays and Mondays. I know, totally obscure. But it looks SO cool, I really wanna go.

So, anywho, we stopped at the store to get some stuff to make Tortilla Soup just like Max & Erma's, and then we went home. Mom made me some delicious hot chocolate cuz it's FREEZING today (WHOOT!). Then she made the tortilla soup and it was SO EFFING GOOD. Holy crap, guys, it's sooooo amazing. I had two bowls, lol. And we finished the first season of "Samantha Who?". I absolutely love that show. Christina Applegate is adorable.

Uh...right, then we picked Nick up from the cafe cuz he chilled with his friend there for a while. When we got home, mom and I had another cup of hot chocolate and watched Cash Cab. Whoot! There's a lotta TV on tonight; Ugly Betty, Kitchen Nightmares, Supernatural (and for mom, Grey's Anatomy and Life on Mars). LOTSA stuff.

Ooh, mom sent me this link to a thing about stupid Americans not being able to answer three simple questions. The biggest reason she sent it to me is cuz they mention the audiences of TDS and TCR! :D HELL YES. Here's the article, if you wanna read it. It's fairly interesting and kinda disheartening at the same time.

I think that's it...oh! I have tomorrow off! I can sleep in, FINALLY! I'm sleeping til 9:00, at least! Yay inservice days! Also, I'm not sure how to carve my pumpkin this year. Last year, I did a Colbert-y kinda thing. So, what should I do this year? Keep in mind, something Colbert-themed is not out of the realm of possibilites. ;] But yeah, suggestions would be appreciated. And what are you guys gonna carve?

Hannah Montana is Our New Secretary of Awesome

Hello people!

I was up til 3:00 last night, playing Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (the first one for PlayStation) with Nick. It was *so* much fun. Nick wanted to play Bioshock, but I told him I really can't play it at night. I'm scared enough at night, I don't need a video game scaring me even more. So, instead, we played it today.

It was actually more fun than I thought it would be. I only watched Nick, I didn't play myself, but it was cool. That game is immensely interesting. And I found an interview with one of the writers of the game (*warning: there are spoilers in the interview, if you choose to read it*), and he was talking about the religious parts in the game, and how people tend to follow religious ideologies fairly easily.

I think it's so interesting catching the religious elements in the game. For example, ADAM and EVE are genetic enhancement...thingies...that you need to survive in the underwater dystopian world of Rapture. Also, there are bibles and religious elements smuggled in by a rebellious group. I'm also amused by the fact that people in the city want to, essentially, play God, and make the perfect society, which, of course, is impossible. It's a great game, if you haven't played it, I highly recommend you do.

Oh, I slept til 12:13 today. Nick was sposed to get me up at 11:30, but he let me sleep (*love* him, lol). And he even helped me do the dishes. Sometimes, he's just the sweetiest brother ever.

Ahh, TDS/TCR=so much crazy win. I only watched two eps of each this afternoon, but guh, they were so funny. Last Wednesday's and Thursday's episodes. That's where the title of this post is from; Jon was addressing the McCain ad that bashes Obama as a celebrity (which, ironically, Jen addressed yesterday...). His segment on that was so hilarious, let me tell you, lol. And Stephen was talking about state fairs as The Word (which was "Save Ferris", btw) and said, "[State fairs] made me the man I think I am today." and The Word said, "Jon Stewart." <3 I love them.

Dudes, I heard that Morgan Freeman got into a terrible car crash and is in serious condition! :'( If there's a god, it's Morgan Freeman, surrsly. I hope he's okay, he's really amazing and awesome and I just really hope he's okay. I'm somewhat amused by the fact the McDonald's Dollar Menu will no longer be a Dollar Menu. Stupid shitty economy.

If you need cheering up after that slighly depressing information, lol, watch this That 70's Show clip. It's one of my favorites EVER. I used to have it recorded on my old phone, I loved it so much. Red Foreman (the dad) isn't allowed to have fatty foods cuz he has high cholesterol, so Eric (the son) rubs it in his face. Pure gold.

OMG, dudes. One of the questions on Cash Cab was (paraphrased), "Your solar plexus is a group of nerves located where?" The answer: your stomach (aka, your gut). Do you know how I knew that? STEPHEN FREAKING COLBERT! Tek Jansen always says, "Solar Plexus!" And Stephen always talks about his gut. Connect the dots, baby.

I'm gonna play some more Tomb Raider tonight and watch another TDS/TCR. Yay!

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

P.S. Have you done my picspam challenge yet? DO IT!
