It's KittyCane, the PepperCat...This is Horrifying
Hello people!

Oh, Stephen Colbert. Happy Birthday. ILY. <3

I slept a little better than I did the night before last, but it still wasn't very good. I woke up at 5:30 and was wide awake. :( But I did have a rather enjoyable dream; I was at this restaurant or food court or something and it was insanely crowded. Then I saw David Rutz (now-in-college buddy) and I hooked arms with him and this other guy and we just ran through the place.

It was so much fun, but then I got really sad cuz I knew it'd be the last time I'd see them. Then I woke up. In myth, we watched The Odyssey, the movie. I remember watching it Freshman year. *shakes head* But at least I got to work on my math packet. I've actually been getting the homework done ahead of time, so I'm almost done! :D We took a quiz in math today.

I mentioned that before, I think. It was fairly easy. I mean, some of it was factoring, and I hate that shit, but I think I did all right. Tomorrow, we have our notebook test and, for the first time, I'm so excited to take it. Everything in my binder is so organized and GAH, I feel so good about it. XD I know, I know, I'm a nerd. Well, I proudly embrace my nerdiness. <3

In AP Gov., we had to attend the Junior class' cabinet election assembly because Messick is on the staff that runs it. We handed out and collected ballets and tallied votes. Meh, kinda boring. We read Robert Frost and Sylvia Plath poetry in AmLit. It wasn't too bad, Robert Frost is an intriguing poet cuz he was kind of a pompous asshole, but his poetry totally doesn't show it.

Plath has an interesting way of writing, too, so it wasn't totally dull in class. I got to read some of The Lost World between work and that was awesome. I love it thus far - it's really nothing like the movie. And honestly, the only good thing about the movie is Jeff Goldblum. ;] Um, where was I? Oh, right, we also returned our giant books during class! :D

In MindCandy, neither Brian nor Robbins were there, so there was little to no entertainment. So we all either read books or worked on homework. I read - didn't have any homework. Ms. Dewey came in and made Anna and Tyler make a poster for selling the magazine next week. Anna doodled a peppermint candy with a kitty face, and Tyler said that. *points to title*

It was hysterical. XD I thought it was, anyway, lol. Then, I went and got my t-shirt (I finally figured out where to go, lol) and it's AWESOME. And then mom picked me up and we went to lunch at Chef's House. We got delicious club sandwiches and fries and MMM, so good. We talked about dad's reluctancy to move, even though there's no reason to stay here.

We also talked about how annoying dad's been lately, lol, and how he kinda speaks poorly of mom behind her back (and to me, even though I don't agree with, like, anything he says). Mom got really upset, which wasn't my intention, I just wanted to be completely honest with her about what's going on in the house and whatnot. That's where the convo ended.

I wish I could do something, but I don't know what I can do. *sigh* Moving on. I chilled online for a while, listened to "The Way It Is" by Bruce Hornsby, posted that Stephen picspam. <3 Mom left for another appointment and I played The Sims2 for a couple hours. Then dad came home, and then, shortly after that, mom came home. And now, here we are!

I don't feel like watching TV at all tonight. Mom and I both just wanna go to a bookstore and sit there all evening. It's pouring outside, and our fave thing to do when it's raining is sit in a bookstore, reading books and drinking coffee. Unfortunately, the closest bookstore is half an hour away and we just don't have the energy or time to head out to it. Grawr.

My Shorts Are Nonstick Pants
Hello people!

Holy, moo, I had one hum-dinger of a dream, and guess what? I remember all of it! :D

I had a dream that I was in this huge store and I got away with stealing a bunch of stuff every day, and I did it over and over again. I took a shower when I got home, and then I saw that Phil Ken Sebben was talking to someone on the other side of the room. Okay, after that, my day started over, and I did absolutely every thing exactly the same.

It happened a couple more times, until one day when I made this blue-pearl (yeah, I dunno) necklace for some girl I didn’t know, and she said, “It’s beautiful, but I can’t wear it.” I got a little sad, but said I understood and took the necklace back. I went to the front of the store where the check-out counters were, and I was going to steal the necklace (I made it from materials in the store that I hadn’t bought), but I felt guilty.

So I took the necklace to the back of the store and put it in a decorative barrel. Then I made my way out as fast as possible, attempting not to look suspicious. I passed a girl with two kids who seemed to be having trouble finding the exit, but I didn’t help. I realized later that I had to find Phil Ken Sebben when he was doing a speech of his that he did every day and listen to that speech (why? I dunno).

I was looking for my cell phone and couldn’t find it, so I checked my brother’s room and found his phone. I looked at a text he’d received to see if it was my phone, and then Nick stormed in (fresh out of a shower in his towel) and said, “Don’t look at my phone!” and I said, “I was looking for my phone!” and he said, “Get out!” So I went back to my room, lol.

Then, suddenly, I was Dean Winchester (<3). Sam and I had just gotten to this random house and we went to talk to the family about us staying there while we investigated something in town. They were super and we had to go do something, so we left. But the daughter, who was about ten, had a problem with us.

She thought we were super suspicious, so she looked through this huge armoire that had all of our stuff in it, and she found holy water and guns and books on the supernatural and all sorts of shit. She pulled everything out of the armoire and laid it out all over the living room and showed her parents. Then they all sat in the living room waiting for us to get back.

We did, and Sam got a little angry that all our stuff was on the floor. He panicked that we were gonna get kicked out, and we tried to explain ourselves, but…that’s where I woke up. :] WHEW! That was long, lol. So, I woke up at about 9:00 and got right up. I hopped online for a few minutes and then went out to say hi to mom and dad and give mom her card for Mothers' Day.

Then, I headed back to my room cuz we planned to just chill all day today, so it didn't really matter if we did so together. There was a marathon of Parental Control (a show on MTV) that ended around noon, so I watched that all morning. It was so much fun, I LOVE that show (probably a little too much, especially since it's so classless and stupid).

Once that was over, mom, dad and I went outside for half an hour to sit in the sun and the breeze. Then we watched a marathon of $25,000 Pyramid, which we used to watch all the time, although this one had Donny Osmond as the host. But it was fun and I liked watching that show again, it's very entertaining (title of this post was one of the categories). After that, I went to my room to play a little Sims2.

And now we're about to have dinner and watch Roxanne. Hilarious movie. Thank you to all of you that offered to help me out with The Epic Crichton Novel Search of 2009. YOU ALL ROCK. Oh, TDS/TCR people, it seems that very few people are making their nominations for the [info]tds_rps FanFic Awards. So, please, if you haven't nom'd yet, go do so! <3

HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY, yet again. X] And now, below a cut, is the poem I wrote for my mom.

Kinda cheesy, but mom liked it, so... )

The Best Way to Say, "I Love You, But I Don't Trust You"
Hello people!

It seems that every night/morning is becoming more and more of a blur as the days go by...not sure why, but yeah, can't really remember if I dreamed about anything, but I was dazed this morning, as usual lately. Maybe I'm just not getting enough sleep. *shrugs*

We didn't do a whole lot of anything in myth. OH! But we have this project (due on Tuesday) where we have to make a poster of OUR versions of the 14 major Olympian gods (including the 2 Earth gods). I figured I'd do a fandom version, so here are the fandoms I'd like to use: TDS/TCR, 24, Leverage, Supernatural, Dexter, Bones. I was wondering if YOU guys would help me with suggestions of which character is which god.

I'm gonna do a separate post with info about the gods so you guys can actually participate, lol, if you want to, so feel free to wait til that post (prolly sometime later tonight). If you already know about the gods feel free to post your thoughts on this post. X] Okay, moving on. In math, we went over homework and notes. Mr. P didn't finish teaching us the lesson, but he still assigned us homework and said, "Try." *shakes head*

We kinda just goofed off in AP Gov., though we did learn a little bit about Marbury V. Madison, which is Messick's fave Supreme Court case, so she was all giddy and stuff. In AmLit, Mrs. J was back (her son was sick yesterday), but she said that we weren't doing anything today. So we sat there. And did nothing. And the paper that I stayed up til 1:00 to finish on Monday night isn't due til tomorrow. *headdesk*

Apparently, Robbins is staying home this entire month. SO, guess who's subbing for us til April? MR. CECIL (AKA, the Shawn Spencer look-alike)! <3 OMG I LOVE HIM, lol. We spent most of MindCandy fooling around on the computers. We watched a ton of Lonely Island vids (Lazy Sunday, JIMP, Iran So Far Away) on Hulu and basically laughed our asses off (including Cecil, who commented on them and joked with us <333).

There was one that was something like, "The Best Look in the World," or something, where everyone was pantsless (and underwearless) and it showed pixelated dicks, lol, and Shampel FREAKED OUT and was like, "Hey. Turn that off, it's not school appropriate." I fucking HATE Shampel. Everyone does. He's such an asshole. So we did a little typing then, and once that was done, I worked on my latest story.

Speaking of...here's the deal: we're only allowed to have two of our own works in the published version of MindCandy. I already have two submissions, but the story I'm working on right now was sposed to be another. Now I'm not sure what I want to submit. One of them is non-negotiable, as it's everyone's fave in the class. So it's down to my Dexter poem (which I love), and the story, which is kinda like Dexter.

And so, flist, I come to you for help. Could you read through my Dexter poem, then read through what I have done for the story (posted below the cut) and tell me which you think I should submit? It's due tomorrow, so I need opinions tonight, please! :]

Okay, anywho. Mom, dad and Nick picked me up today (Nick stayed home cuz there's something seriously wrong with his foot...not sure why, but he says it hurts too much to walk on *shrugs*). We went to the grocery store, which took, like, two hours, then went home. I spent the afternoon in my room, watching vids on YouTube and chillin. And listening to some Lonely Island stuff from Incredibad. X]

OH! I watched Important Things, too (DVR'd it last night). OMG, it was hilarious. And John Oliver was a guest! :D He was actually pretty funny, especially as Shakespeare. XD The title of this post is from the show, when Demetri was talking about the "sponsors" of that episode and mentioned, "prenuptials." OH, and I totally noticed that Saturn was excluded in that mnemonics joke! :D It's my fave planet, lol.

Thursday, Thursday, thank Frank it's almost Friday.

I Broke His Crotch...I Broke Einstein's Weiner
Hello people!

With the exception of getting up this morning, today was much better than yesterday afternoon. Getting up was Hell, though, LOL. It took me a while to fall asleep last night, so I only got a few hours of sleep. I'm thinking I might go to bed early tonight...maybe.

We had another sub in myth. I wonder if Shoemaker's sick or something...hmm. We learned about Ares today. Not anywhere near as interesting at Apollo, but still kinda cool cuz Ares is about spontaneous violence in war. XD WHAT?! I LIKE VIOLENCE. JEEZ. *ahem* In math, we had the second quiz. I, once again, think I did okay. I know I got a couple of problems wrong, but for the most part, yeah, I think I did okay.

We have homework, unfortunately, that has to do with graphing. BLECH. HATE graphing. In AP Gov., we had a little quiz in practice for the AP test later on this year; we'll be doing those weekly from now on. I'm not sure how I did...I felt confident, but I usually do and I usually get bad grades, LOL. We did current events after that and it was QUITE fun, as always.

Oh! Messick has this little Einstein toy that's like an action figure. Henry was playing with it (haha, that's what she said) and he bent the legs the wrong way and they popped right off! And Messick got upset but she doesn't get, like, legit upset. When she gets upset, it seems like she's jokingly upset, ya know? Like, she makes a *sadface* and the quivery lip and such. So she did that.

That part's irrelevant, really, I just felt the need to say it, LOL. But anywho, she got upset and Henry was like, "I didn't mean to break him!" and Messick said, "You broke his crotch!" and he said, "I broke his crotch." And EVERYONE burst out laughing at that, and then, Henry said, "I broke Einstein's weiner." And that just sent everyone into hysterics for, like, five minutes. Gotta love Henry. *shakes head*

We talked about a paper we have to do on The Crucible and the seven deadly sins in AmLit! :D I'm STOKED for that, it's gonna be so easy. It's due on Tuesday and I think I'm just gonna worry about it Monday night, hehe. X] In MindCandy, Robbins was gone today for some reason (he's prolly sick, he's been sick for, like, a week), so Cecil was substituting again! :D SO MUCH WIN.

He joked and laughed with us and it was made of awesome. We decided which poems and short stories would be going in the magazine and I got to pick two of my poems; the one that's about me (it'll be below a cut after this paragraph) and the Dexter one I posted not too long ago. I'm THRILLED that my Dexter one's going in. I love it so much. But I also wanna put a short story in, so I gotta work on that.

My ''I Am'' Poem, entitled, ''Dreams? Dreams, Geoffrey?'' )

Chris gave me a ride home, but not before I bought TWO Snickers bars (they were out of mini!muffins) from the vending machine. XD When I got home, I made some lunch and watched TV and assembled my latest video, which took a LOT of time. I contemplated napping, but I didn't wanna miss a call from mom and dad, so I decided against it. Anywho, speaking of my latest video...

OMFG GUYS! MY NEW VIDEO IS DONE! :D I'm SO proud of it, I hope you guys like it (even though none of you are 24 fans...yes, it's about 24, but it took a long time to make, so I hope you'll watch it anyway, lol). It's a parody of Toby Turner's (tobuscus), "There's a Floppy Disk on the Floor," which is incredibly epic. If you haven't seen it yet, you really need to, lol. ANYWHO. HERE.

*WHEW* Okay. So. Monk and Psych season finales are tonight. It seems like it's been WAY too fast, doesn't it? Like, they JUST came back and now they're done with the season already. Meh. There was something else but I totally can't remember it...

Yeah, Because Who Hasn't Murdered Someone?
Hello people!

Ya know, I feel like I say the same shit all the time. You guys must get bored! I wish I had more exciting stuff to say, lol. Oh, well, back to usual: I am super tired. *shakes head* I couldn't fall asleep til 1:00 last night. I dunno why, I just couldn't.

I can't remember my dreams, which frustrates me to no end. *sigh* In myth, we learned about Poseidon, Hades, and...shit, someone else. But FINALLY, we learned about something that actually interests me; Hades! I LOVE HADES. XD So that was cool. Math suuuuuuuucked. What else is new? We just did notes and homework and shit. We went over the chapter in AP Gov., as we have a test tomorrow.

I brought in a box of Gobstoppers to munch on today, but I put them in a smaller box cuz the box they originally come in is HUGE. Messick was like, "What're those?" and I said, "Gobstoppers," and the two girls who sit next to me were like, "Can I have one?" and then Messick took a couple, so I just told the class to help themselves. *shrugs* I still had half a box leftover at home.

So we went through those pretty fast, lol. Near the end of class, I was called down to the guidance office. I dunno about you guys, but I fucking hate that. It's so scary. :( And for good reason today. 'Member when I mentioned that I hid my interim from my parents? And I emailed my math teacher asking him to not mention my F to my parents? Well, my guidance counselor and math teacher wanted to talk to me today.

I explained why I hadn't done homework the entire quarter, and Mrs. Hamilton (guidance counselor) really seemed to understand. Although, she kinda sounded bitchy in what she said, and if I hadn't been so grateful that she seemed to agree with me/see my side, I would've bitched her out for the way she said what she said; she explained to Mr. P that she knew when she met my parents that they put a lot of pressure on me and Nick to succeed.

That's totally true, but the way she said that she knew when she met them, and how she went on to say that Nick and I have "overcome a lot" at home, like we've been fucking abused or something! I don't even know, but you should've heard her. She's such a bitch sometimes. Anywho, Mr. P explained that he has to talk to my parents if I don't, so I asked him to give me two weeks to bring my grade up, and he said okay.

Let me tell you, I felt like I was gonna fucking faint when I left. My heart was racing and I wanted to cry. I know I'm to blame for my problems, but I'm so afraid to talk to my parents about shit cuz, really, they can't do anything about it and they're already weighed down with so much Nick shit, especially as of late (apparently, he's getting bullied on the bus and failing a bunch of classes).

I really don't wanna give them more shit to worry about. I know that sounds like a lame-ass excuse from a desperate teen, but it's not. I really worry about my parents sometimes, especially with my dad hating his job and coming home on the edge of a break down and mom getting shit appointments at shitty times and there's just a lot of pressure on this house and I don't wanna fucking add to it.

Besides, I'm doing all my homework now and I'm trying to improve on tests. Hopefully, it won't be an issue anymore. Moving on. We read more Crucible in AmLit and I, of course, read ahead again. It really is very good. :] In MindCandy, we did more of that correcting stuff and it was fun again, lol. We read slightly darker stories/poems today, as opposed to the ridiculous amount of love poems yesterday.

I wrote up a Dexter poem (I know, I know) and submitted it, and I didn't get to see all of my ratings and comments, but I think I made it in the magazine, which makes me happy, lol. Adams made the comment I used as tonight's post's title, lol. X] He's a silly monkey. Here's the poem, incase you're interested in reading it:

The Monster Within )

====

Dad took the day off today and he came with mom to pick me up. We stopped at the cafe and I got a coffee, then we went home. I did my math homework when I got home and read over some stuff from the AP Gov. book cuz, yeah, as I said before, we have a test tomorrow. Then we watched Leverage (we DVR'd it last night) and basically chilled the rest of the afternoon.

OH, speaking of shows from last night, fucking Fringe, guys. It scared the motherfucking FUCK outta me. Seriously, the first few minutes MADE ME FUCKING CRY. It was so scary. Do any of you watch that show? If not, have you seen "The Matrix"? If so, ya know the part in the beginning where Neo's dreaming or something and his mouth seals shut? That's kinda what happened on Fringe.

If you haven't seen it, here's pretty much what happened: this two-dollar bill was infected with some weird toxin or whatever, and when someone touched it, every orifice on their bodies sealed up with skin. Their eyes, their mouths, their noses, etc. They slowly died from it. Faceless people REALLY scare me. I dunno why, but yeah, it freaks me out so much. *shudders*

Whew. Anywho. Leverage was really good (it involved court! :D). Um, and now, here we are. Not much is on tonight, aside from American Idol, so it looks to be a pretty relaxed evening. Ya know what's weird? My blog post for last night only got, like, three or four comments, but the latest meme I did got, like, 15 or 16 comments. HMM. ;]

OH GUYS DON'T FORGET: Demetri Martin's new show premieres tonight! I think at 10:30? It looks awesome, so FUCKING WATCH IT! XD

OKAY BYEEEE.

Hello people!

I listened to this awesome song that totally captured how I feel about you guys, then was inspired to write my own. I didn't vid it yet cuz my batts are dead, but I might tomorrow if I have time. BUT, the reason I'm posting is to post the lyrics. It's kinda poemy but also a song...? Hard to explain, lol. ANYWHO, hope you guys like it!

We've Got the Best Balls in Town!
Hello people!

I am so tired right now. I couldn't get to sleep til 3:40-ish last night, and then I had to get up at 9:00 this morning. Whilst I was awake last night, I made a video and wrote a poem (WTF?). I had another weird dream where I was walking up the driveway to our front door and I had just gotten the mail. I looked through it and found a letter from a college that only did creative writing (that's all they taught) and I was accepted! If only it was reality.

When I got up, dad made me eggs and sausage for breakfast. It was pretty good, but he cooked the sausage with the eggs, and that made the eggs come out gray-ish from the sausage grease. That was pretty nasty. It tasted fine, it just looked gross. But it got me thinking about using food coloring when making scrambled eggs and how AWESOME that would be (green eggs and ham, bitches!).

Moving on. We left around 10:00 and got to the show between 10:30 and 11:00. That was dull as fudge, dudes. It was kinda busy, but there was nothing to do! And mom kept annoying me, so I wasn't in the best of moods. At 1:00, we left. We brought a couple things back to the car, but thankfully, we didn't have to take the booth down (which we normally do). Mom's doing that with Andrew tomorrow.

We got some more of the garlic dip that's so delicious, but I had to use my own check cuz mom forgot her checkbook and then she said she might not pay me back, which is really fucking annoying since I have no income perhaps I should get a job. But whatever. So, then we left and had to stop at the store for groceries. We got a bunch of yummy foods, so that's good. We got ice cream! :D YAYZ!

On the way home, we passed a golf course that had a sign that said, "We've got the best balls in town!" I almost started laughing, but I didn't, cuz I knew mom would ask why and I didn't wanna have to explain it, LOL. XD But yeah, I thought it was pretty funny. I wrote another found poem (this one was homework) using Jurassic Park, of course. I think it came out pretty good! And I'm gonna do one with MGS and maybe Macbeth.

I'm rather annoyed because we've got these CRAZY gusting winds going on and they keep knocking out the power. I wouldn't really care, normally, except it keeps fucking up the internet and I can't really use it, which is one of the few reasons I actually like being at home. *headdesk* But I get to spend time by myself in my room with candles and darkness and that's always fun for me. I love candles and darkness. I just need some coffee. <3

That's about it. It's Sunday, which means school tomorrow, and I really don't wanna go. I dunno why, but I have HUGE anxiety about going to school tomorrow. I did all my homework (OMG, shocking, right?), but yeah, I'm really worried. Maybe it's cuz interims come out this week and HAHA my grades blow already. That's cuz I have caught teh Senioritis. I will keep it under control, I swear. I'm starting to get into the groove of things again. My grades will be coming up, I just know mom won't understand if she sees bad grades right now. *shakes head*

Anywho, yeah, I think that's it. Oh! I'm gonna be making a dance video either tonight or tomorrow (or maybe Tuesday...) and I'll post it. It will prolly be very embarassing, but OH WELL. Colbertlove posed teh challenge and it is my duty to accept teh challenge! YOU SHOULD TOO (just go to her LJ and read her latest entry)!

Eating an Apple Makes Me Seem More Casual

Hello people!

Okeeday, so it's Thursday. It doesn't feel like Thursday, but ya know, I'm glad tomorrow's Friday! :D

I don't think I've addressed the bus situation of this year, so I think I'll do that now. Last year, it was fairly crowded on the bus, but there were at least four or five seats where someone sat by themselves (I usually had my own seat). This year, because of the crazy influx of freshmen, the bus is way over-crowded, to the point of there only being a couple seats that aren't already filled up completely.

I always have to sit with some other kid I don't know, and it's quite annoying. I really like having my own seat, but I understand the abundance of kids and lack of buses, so I digress. However, the really annoying part of this whole ordeal that I still don't understand is that the back of the bus is the only place with semi-free seats. It used to be that the back was the "cool place" to sit and the front was the "lame-ass place" to sit. Now everyone wants to sit in the front (including myself) and no one wants to sit in the back. I don't get it at all. *SIGH*

Kay, so, photo was ultra-dull today. We did book work. Blech. Math was blah as well, I didn't do all the homework (hehe!) so, yeah, but we didn't have much homework tonight and I did get that done. Whoot. Oh! I got a pass during math that was from the guidance office, asking me to come down there.

So I went down there, and the pass was from Mr. Palazzo. He came up to me right when I went in and was like, "That's from me (cuz his name wasn't on it and I didn't know it was from him til he said that)." and took my pass and I was like, "Okay." And then he went and talked to some lady in there for, like, ten f-ing minutes while I just stood there, waiting for him to tell my WhyTF he called me down there!  It really pissed me off and was SO RUDE!

I wanted to say something to the effect of, "Can you PLEASE stop talking to her for a minute and tell me what the hell you wanted?!" ...but I didn't, of course. And the only reason he wanted me to come down was to tell me that I would only have 4.5 credits by the end of the year and that wasn't enough to graduate. I KNEW that already, I was gonna sign up for Classical Mythology next week cuz the first week is always hectic with people rearranging their schedules, and mine wasn't imperative; I won't have Mythology  til next semester, no matter what, so it was a waste of my time. But Palazzo signed me up for Mythology, which was nice, so...yay...?

These paragraphs are really long...this is gonna be a lengthy entry. Me sowwy! :} Moving on...AP Gov. was okay. Noah, a notoriously talkative kid, joined our class today, so hopefully, he'll bring up what we're lacking in conversation. Forensics was awesome! We talked about what we're gonna do this year and OMG, I can't wait! We're gonna look at blood spatter (splatter?) patterns and fiber analysis and investigating crime scenes and GAH! I can't wait to get started; next week, we're gonna create a crime scene and categorize all the evidence and stuff. <3

MindCandy was cool. We had to bring in a poem or song, cuz the next nine weeks are all about poetry (GAG ME WITH AN EFFING SPOON), so I brought in a song, of course, since I despise poetry. X] I decided to bring in, "On the Rise" from Dr. Horrible, since there's the contrast between Horrible being so angry and Penny being so happy. The class loved the over-lapping voices part (which I love, too) and one of the kids is gonna go watch Dr. Horrible now! :D

I had fries and ice cream for lunch and MMM it was good, hehe. Mom picked me up at one-ish and we had to go to meet up with this lady to talk about mom's work doing radio ads. Well, the lady happens to represent the Brew, which is my absolute FAVORITE station ever, so I was kinda excited, lol. But, I didn't listen in on mom and the lady's convo and, instead, read my Metal Gear Solid book.

I gotta say, for anyone on my flist who's a fan of MGS (which is no one, I believe), the book is not like the game. I mean, the plot's the same, and some of the convos are the same, but there are quite a few small variations and the writer made Solid Snake - a freakishly tough and mostly serious man - joke around and say ridiculously cheesy things. It's annoying. AND, he makes Snake kill all these guards, and in the game, you usually tranq more guards than you kill, at least in the beginning, so, yeah, not as awesome is it could've been. Oh, well.

We had to go get food at Giant Eagle so we'd have something to eat tonight, but I wasn't hungry, so I skipped dinner. I'll be hungry later. *shrugs* Um...yeah, that brings us to now. Oh, in MindCandy today, Mr. Robbins was eating an apple and he mentioned how he loves that episode of Seinfeld where George is talking to a girl on the phone and he's eating an apple cuz he thinks it makes him seem more casual. XD Gotta love George.

Mysidewayshalo posted this in her blog [[http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26316235/]] and it really upset me. It made me cry, it was so unbelievablely fail. This is one of the thousands millions billions numerous reasons I despise people. I hate them. We are a sad, sad species and sometimes I think we don't even deserve to be in existence. It's things like this that cause my ultra-cynicism. Whilst on that topic, Hallmark now has gay wedding cards! :D I usually don't like Hallmark, but they win times a MILLION for this. For serious. <3

I have a question for you guys: if you were married and your spouse did something differently than you would, and you think their way is wrong, would you call them on it and reprimand them, or would you let them have their way and you have your own? Mom likes to...critique, let's say...how dad does things. And while I agree with her half the time, I think it's kind of mean the way she handles things. Especially when it's right in front of me or Nick. *shrugs* So what do you guys think? Would you do the same thing, or would you handle the situation differently?

I'm totally wearing a tank top tomorrow so people can see my tattoos. I'm excited. XD I like people asking about my tattoos. It makes me feel special, lawlz. HEY, don't forget! Tomorrow's the last day for the picspam challenge, guys! DO IT DO IT DO IT! ;]

Sorry for the lengthy post tonight, guys! I'm feeling talkative, lol.

A Colbertalicious Sonnet
Hello people!

I know that some of my readers are in love with Colbert as much as I am, lol, so I am posting the sonnet I wrote about him! :] It's not that good, but, ya know, I'm a lowly high school student who only wrote this for school, lol. So, enjoy, and lemme know whatcha think! XD

Error 404: Title to Sonnet Not Found

A political pundit mastermind,
He can tell you all the truthiness.
In anything, the joke he can find,
And with his show, has garnered much success.

Stephen Colbert is his name,
The man with the deadpan style.
Political satire is his game,
Though that varies once in a while.

His Brooks Brothers suits and his knowing look,
Convey that he’s smart and debonair.
His strong opinions and hate for books,
Make the stating of facts rather rare.

He’s brilliant and funny and a wonderful man,
So I watch “The Colbert Report” whenever I can.

I Like Walks on the Beach and Murders at Midnight
Hello people!

Today was a pretty sweet day, lol. Math, Chem, and AP Euro were all blah, let's skip those. But German was great! We're watching The Emperor's New Groove, which I TOTALLY LOVE! It's one of my fave ever Disney movies! :D Patrick Warburton is amazering, lol.

Brit Lit was okay. Mrs. Creek is just plain funny, lol, but the Macbeth movie we're watching (the 1971 version) is crappalicious. Although, the part where one of the witches flashed Macbeth and went, "Bleh!" was pretty amusing, haha.

Creative Writing was okay. Amanda and David and I got to hang out and chat, which we never get to do in that class, so that was fun. And David was obscure (as usual, lol), which was very funny.

Okay, so, Jen did this amazering 30 hour famine thing for NHS, and it ended tonight at...6? 7? I think 6...I hope she pigged out when she was done, lol (didja, Jen? :D)!

There was nothin on tonight, so I browsed the guide and saw a game show called, "AMNE$IA." So I checked it out and it's pretty cooly! The host asks questions about the guest's past and stuff (like your old locker number or nicknames you had, etc.) and it's really awesome! I'm gonna watch it next week. I bet it'd be a blast to go on that show, lol.

Oh! Dakota bought us ice cream today! SHE FREAKING RULES for that! My blizzard was really good. And I got to eat it during Panther Period cuz Frau's awesome like that and let me, lol. And Adam found some pretty good vids today on clipaday - GOTTA love faceplants, lol.

When I got home, I did what I've been doin all week; I read some more fanfics. And now I'm gonna write one. It's just some random blather, but I feel like writing something for myself instead of as an assignment Creative Writing, lol. Oh, speaking of, I just turned in my last actual story. Which makes me kinda sad, lol. I liked writing for this class. Now I gotta do stupid damn poetry shit, which I *HATE* so much. The only time I like poetry is when it's read to me by a guy, which is never so far, lol, so I really don't like it.

Tomorrow, I'm goin back to the show with my mom and dad. It's gonna be fun, though, like last Saturday, I'm gonna be gone from about 9:00 AM til about 10:00 PM. So...yeah. XD

That's about it...I'm sure there's more somewhere in my day today, but I can't find it. So, until tomorrow night, adios, my dancing muchachoes (don't ask, lol)!
