Do Not Feed, Taunt or Molest the Alligators
Hello people!

Last night, I slept on the couch yet again.

At 5:00, dad got me up and told me to go sleep in his and mom's room cuz they were officially getting up. I fell asleep pretty quickly and had some crazy dreams, though I only remember fleeting details. I was at school, but it was a totally different school, and we were separated into groups. Mine was red - we all were sposed to wear something red to our meeting, which we had to run to right away.

I did so and made it to the meeting, but I was a teeny bit late. I was sitting with a friend of mine, but I don't recall who... Then, I was in our dorm room (apparently, I was rooming with that friend of mine) and my old crush, Adam, was laying with me on this HUGE bed (it could easily fit six people, if not more). We were just next to each other, watching this show that was actually a surveillance camera which was monitoring a dorm building at our school.

I don't really know why or anything, I'm seriously not remembering a whole lot of this dream. I do remember, though, that Adam was uncharacteristically nice to me (usually, if we hang out or something, he jokingly mocks me and whatnot). He was just really sweet and he kept holding my hand and entwining his arm around mine. It was kinda awesome, lol. Then I woke up at about 12:30. *shakes head*

I went downstairs and said hi to dad before hopping in the shower. After that, dad informed me that he was going to Home Depot to pick up some wood for making window-frames and the windowsills in the living room. He was gone for about two hours. During that time, I did laundry, washed the dishes, watched a couple episodes of WifeSwap, then switched it over to ABC Family for Full House.

Yeah, I haven't done a whole lot today. I read some MyLifeIsAverage stories (where the title of this post came from). Those are always fun. Oh, last night, I swear on my life, I heard knocking against the wall to my left for a good half hour, then I heard a door opening (and scraping against carpeting) and someone walking down the hallway. But when I investigated, there was nobody there. *shudders*

I fucking hate night-time, lol. My stupid brain constantly plays tricks on me. I spent a good fifteen minutes playing "Threw It On the Ground" over and over, though, and I felt better. X] Yes, I'm silly. Anywho, I shall leave thee with this KICKASS new Bo Burnham song (not really safe for work or parents, so be careful)!

Listen to Me, And Enlighten Me
Hello people!

So, it's 5:30 in the morning and I'm still awake.

You see, while at the book store today, I noticed a Halloween/horror display. I figured I should try to be a mature adult and check out some of the stories since I actually do find them interesting (they just usually scare the fuck outta me). So, I read through a book called, Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid (scary urban legends). I really should've taken the hint from the title, but I was being stupid and read through half of it.

Well, fast-forward to now. I tried to go to sleep at 3:30 and was too terrified of the dark. Now I'm lying in bed with my huge light on, listening to a long playlist of cheerful, rocking songs and intending to watch season one of House and season four of Monk til teh rents wake up. It also doesn't help that I watched Lady GaGa's MTV awards performance of "Paparazzi," then looked up the official video for it a few hours ago.

Why do I do such stupid things? GUH. I just need to accept that shit is gonna scare me no matter what and stop trying to toughen up, cuz it's not going to happen. Anywho, I traded out some old icons for newer ones (only a few, though), including the one I'm using right now. I love it, I think it's quite fitting of my mood. Okay, that's about it, I just wanted to post something cuz I feel if I'm up so late (or early, whatever), I should post, lol.

Writer's Block: Lights Out
Hello people!

All it takes is a blackout to realize how much we rely on electricity. What's your most memorable story from a power outage?

View 501 Answers

Two instances come to mind. The first happened not too long ago...maybe a month? It was about 1:00 in the morning and we had all stayed up, just cuz we felt like it. We were saying good night to mom and dad when the power just suddenly went out. I can't sleep without some kind of light and my fan on, so I wasn't going to bed. The power was out for a good ten minutes.

The only reason that came to mind is cuz it happened so recently. The second instance I can think of is when I was completely alone in the house. It was about 9:00 at night, and it was raining out. It was dark, so I don't think it was summer, and I dunno where Nick was, but teh rents had gone to the store and gotten dinner. I was just hanging out, watching TV.

A commercial came on for a movie that I thought was particularly scary-looking. I don't recall which one (this was, like, two or three years ago), but it scared me. Ya know how on scary movie ads, they always have whatever monster is killing people pop out at the viewer and scare the fuck out of you? Well, just as the monster leapt at the screen, the power went out.

I was alone, in the dark, after just having seen an incredibly scary commercial. I was literally petrified, I could not move. I sat there, actually holding my breath, for about ten seconds, which is when the power came back on, lol. It was short and quick but it was so fucking scary. Yeah, yeah, I'm a wuss, you should all know that by now.

Congratulations, I'm 100 Years Old
Hello people!

Last night, before I went to bed, I watched 2009 World's Best Commercials, hosted by Kevin Nealon. I think Kevin's cute, but not, like, Stephen or Jon or Kiefer cute, ya know? But anywho, I had a dream that Kevin was laying on the beach and me and two of my friends were sitting around him, and I started kissing him. Um, then I was going to...well, go south, if you will, and I woke up.

Then I fell right back to sleep and was suddenly in this small school. There were 400 kids there, including me, and we were split into four teams. I was working with this other girl and this totally obnoxious guy. He played a trick on us, but I don't remember what it was. Then the teams were called to the auditorium to be presented with a challenge that they all had to complete.

We were in some kind of competition, I guess. Once the challenge was complete (my mind skipped over it, for some reason), my friend and I were back in the lab we had been in before, and that obnoxious guy was with us again. We were (seriously) making a battery (seriously) like the one in the SWC movie (seriously) using...you guessed it...shit as a power source (seriously).

We were purifying the shtuff so we'd get the energy from it without it having to be all...ya know...shit-like. The obnoxious guy started drinking some of what he thought was the purified shtuff. Well, he was wrong, and he wound up drinking actual shit (I know, gross, I don't know what the fuck is wrong with my unconscious self). He ran out of the room and my friend and I laughed.

Then the school was called into our lab and we were presented with our next challenge. We had to wear only a t-shirt, so I immediately threw off the rest of my clothes, lol (seriously, WTF?!). We were dismissed to start the challenge and ran out into the hall and up these HUGE stairs and one of my friends (who I know in RL :D) fell and we all stopped to help her.

Then I woke up. So weird. Um, so, dad woke me up at 10:30. I got online for a sec, grabbed some cereal, then went out to help dad cuz we were having a garage sale today. I brought out some stuff I wanted to sell and we pretty much just chilled for a few hours. I sold 3/4 of my stuff and made $22! :D FTW. Mom came home around 1:00 and made us lunch.

We had club sandwiches and they were SO GOOD. I decided I wanted to go inside cuz it was so damn hot today, so I went to my room and played Splinter Cell for a bit. Around 4:30, mom and I spontaneously left to see a movie - The Proposal. Oh my gosh, guys, it was so cute. I loved it! Title of this post is from it. And the part where Ryan and Sandra are naked was the greatest, lol.

/perviness. Then we stopped at Chick-Fil-A where I got myself some dinner, we stopped at No.1 Chinese Food to pick up dinner for Nick, and after that, we went home. Now we're gonna watch Burn Notice and chill out. Oh, I wanna say something and I need your guys' help. Or...opinions or whatever. When I came home today, Nick greeted me at the door and hugged me.

I saw these three, circular burns on his arm and asked him what happened. He said he got burned when he was lighting candles the other day. I said I hoped he was okay and shit, then when I went to my room, I realized that they look like cigarette burns. Now, I need to know: am I being paranoid, or does cigarette burns sound like a logical explanation for Nick's arm?

The Horrifying Reality Giving Fangirls a Bad Name
Hello people!

Okay, so, I mentioned Twatlight in my post earlier tonight. You guys all commented with awesome stuff (and thanks to [info]zeitgeist_10 for the really great summary! :D). I also mentioned that I'd been reading "horror stories" of fangirl attacks. Well, there's a list on the site (http://www.twilightsucks.com, lol) in order of severity. I finally reached "felony." Seriously, guys? I'm afraid.

Cut cuz this isn't short enough to be un-cut, but not long enough to drive you away )

Caskets Have Unearthed...How Creepy Is That?
Hello people!

Sorry for the late entry, I have been reading Twatlight fangirl horror stories all afternoon. OMG, guys, I must be really late to this but I am seriously afraid of these people. Why has Stephanie Meyer not addressed her crazed fans yet? They're trying to KILL people! Also, I've never read Twatlight and don't intend to, but I really don't know much about it, so can someone give me a brief summary?

That way I can defend my hatred of it other than, "It's too popular and the vampires fucking sparkle." PLZ&THX. So, anywho. I think I'm gonna stop reporting on myth until we actually do something different, lol, cuz all we do every day is read The Iliad. Not much else to say. In math, we had a quiz and I honestly think I did okay. And we got our unit circle quizzes back and I got 100%! :D SO SQUEEFUL. <3 AND, we don't have homework this weekend!

We had a sub in AP Gov. cuz apparently there was a gov./history/civics teachers meeting today to come up with a curriculum for next year (aside: Jen, if you're reading this, it was that creepy lady that talked about sex when she subbed for you, remember? she subbed for Nickel once...). It was boring, we had to do a worksheet and then a mini!presentation, but other than that, not much happened.

In AmLit, we checked out Huckleberry Finn from the library. Not really interested in reading that as I fucking hate Southern accents and really anything to do with the South (except Stephen, of course), but I don't have a choice. Meh. We had a lot of hilarious conversations in MindCandy today, but unlike yesterday, I can't remember them. We talked about Seinfeld and movies and such, but...yeah, I don't recall details...

Dad picked me up, got me coffee, took me home, then had to leave. Mom came home about twenty minutes later (only temporarily, though, she had a 4:00 appointment). I don't know why, but I got mad at her for...something. It was stupid but she started acting really mean to me so I got more upset/angry/annoyed. I tried to be nice to her before she had to go, but she continued being mean, so...

OH! Get this. Nick somehow got dad to order him $30 headphones. THIRTY FUCKING DOLLARS for headphones! SERIOUSLY?! I'm barely willing to pay $10 for headphones, and dad paid $30?! The most annoying thing is that dad tried to keep it a secret from me, as if he knew I'd get pissed, which actually pissed me off more. And Nick just flat-out told me how much dad spent and what he got.

*annoyed* I've asked for much cheaper things before and been yelled at or told no a million times. Yet Nick always gets the things he wants, in secret. It's so fucking frustrating. I've discovered a ton of shit Nick got that I never heard about (but he hears about everything I get), all bought for him by dad. I'm beginning to think it's some sort of ridiculous guy thing or something. It's driving me crazy.

Moving on. Um. Yeah, as I said, I've been reading Twatlight horror stories for the past couple of hours. Ya know, fangirls never scared me. I mean, I thought the stalkerish types were freaky, but I don't know anyone like that, ya know? But I know Twatlight fans. And Twatlight fans are willing to kill for a shitty work of fiction. It's really frightening. If you haven't read some stories and want to, go here.

Title of this post is actually a story on the news; this place is flooding, and because of all the water, caskets are literally unearthing and floating around. It's one part hilarious, one part sad, and one part creepy. XD But still. Teh lulz. Speaking of teh lulz. I bring you lesbian jokes from the 5AwesomeGays (particularly, JOE)! :D

YAY! LOL.

Is That Thing Permanently Attached to You?
Hello people!

Man, what an utter piece of shit today has been. Let's start from the beginning.

I woke up at 7:20-ish to the sound of mom and dad screaming at each other. Mom sounded like she was in tears. I heard the front door slam and tried to go back to sleep cuz it was fucking early and I was tired. Ten minutes later, mom came in my room, woke me up, and said, "Nick's missing," then left. I got up and pulled on my jeans and went to Nick's room, where mom was.

His phone was gone and his bed was empty. He was nowhere to be found. Mom informed me that she had called the police and asked if I had any idea where Nick might be. I said no, cuz honestly, I had no fucking clue. I looked around for some hint that he may have been taken or something. Oh, I should mention: he has no screen on his window (long story), and he had his window open yesterday.

After half an hour of freaking out and calling the phone company (to track Nick's cell), the last girl Nick talked to, and my trying to call a mutual friend of ours, mom called Nick and he answered his phone this time. Apparently, he'd walked to some girl's house whose boyfriend just dumped her. I don't know how far away it was, but it was two minutes by car, so...how far would that be by foot, if you're walking?

So, here's what happened (*channels Monk*): this bitch called him at 2:00 in the morning and asked him to come over. He climbed out his window and walked to this girl's house. The girl let him in WITHOUT her parents' knowledge (they were sleeping) and they watched a movie then fell asleep. She asked him to come over cuz she was recently dumped and was handling it poorly.

SERIOUSLY?!?! Does anyone else think my brother is a FUCKING DOUCHEMONGER?!?! Look, I get being a good friend, that's fine, but you can TALK TO HER ON THE PHONE and still be a good friend! For fuck's sake, we called the fucking police! And the worst part is, he really honestly doesn't realize that what he did was wrong and he'll prolly do it again someday. I hope he gets fucking arrested.

After dad reprimanded him and left for work, mom started telling Nick that he was an idiot and such. I told him he was stupid and that teens get dumped all the time, that's no reason to leave the house at two in the morning. Then I went back to my room and went back to sleep. Eventually, I fell asleep again and slept til about 12:30-ish. The sleep was nice. Unfortunately, I dreamed.

In my first dream, I was in my old room in Connecticut. My room had an incline as it was under the roof, but it wasn't that bad. However, in my dream, it was a much sharper incline, to the point that you had to be bent over to actually be in my room. Matresses covered the floor and mom and dad were in my room with me. The big issue was that there were spiders all over the place.

I was freaking out and had crushed a spider by closing my laptop on it. Its legs were sticking out of the side. Two spiders were making a huge web over my door and my parents were doing NOTHING. I was screaming and crying and shouting for my parents to do something. A spider started climbing up my leg and I freaked out and tried to kill it. Then I woke up.

I actually whimpered when I woke up and had to throw the covers off of me cuz the comfortor was tickling my legs and made me feel like spiders were crawling on me. A couple minutes later, I fell back asleep and had a dream that I was in this HUGE building. And by huge, I mean fucking HUGE. It was really tall and really big, kinda like a warehouse, but much taller than one would think.

It was made of brick and filled about 3/4 of the way with water, and I kept diving into the water (even though I'm not much of a swimmer). I know I've had this dream before, but I don't recall how long ago and I don't remember the exact events, just the swimming. The thing is, every time I dove in, it became harder and harder for me to get back up to the surface. But that didn't stop me.

I woke up shortly after that. I dunno the significance of either, I think I'll look them up. Um. So, mom got me up at 12:30 and we got ready to go to Starbucks to meet up with Andrew, who I've mentioned before. He's such a sweetheart, and he congratulated me on getting into college and all that stuff. We chatted about the Home Show, which is at the end of the month and I'm SO EXCITED FOR.

I love the Home Show, and this year, they've got the first two winners of the HGTV Design Star show as guests! :D I'm gonna get their autographs and stuff, lol. OH, and the theme this year is Hollywood! They're setting up booths all over the place that are gonna be movie-themed and such. It's gonna be so fucking awesome. I'm gonna take video whilst there so you guys can see. :]

Anywho, I got a frapp, as ushe, and we spent about two hours there. It was cool cuz I was able to get online. Title of this post is something some random dude said at Starbucks today. *shrugs* At 4:00, we went home. I found out about a BITCHIN contest where audition for a part on an upcoming episode of Bones! I'm ridiculously excited to that! I'm making an ID badge as part of my costume for it, hopefully, that'll give me a bit of an edge...? I'm gonna tape my audition tonight. <3

Let's see...I think that's it. Dad's gonna take me and Nick to see Coraline tomorrow! Yes, I've seen it already, but I really did like it and wanna see it again. :D Also, *ahem* TOMORROW, CELLI AND I ARE GETTING MARRIED. It's 9:00AM, EST, and 11:00PM her time, though I dunno what time zone that is, LOL. BUT YEAH. And I think we're doing it on Twitter? So please attend!

Oh, cheesy-muffins, I forgot to mention something! I follow @tony_almeida on Twitter, who's a character from 24 (I mentioned Tony last night). Tony is obviously not the legit guy who plays him (Carlos Bernard), but I posted the vid I made for him and he said I fucking rock and that I'm his official intern this year! :D <3

You'll Get Your Fair Share of Meat Here
Hello people!

It's my parents' 20th anniversary! :D SQUEE!

I had a dream that I was helping a friend of mine work on a project for school that involved movies. She had to pit two movies against each other and pick which she thought was better and she wanted my help with that. She put Pirates of the Caribbean2 against...something else, I don't remember what...and I was like, "You should pick POTC2 simply cuz Jack says 'ping!' (even though he doesn't)". Then all of a sudden, we were on the Black Pearl and Jack came up to us, held up a dented bullet, and said, "PING!"

Don't even ask, I have no idea why I dreamt that, LOL. Oh, and I dreamt something about 666. Like, I had to go into room 666 to do something...or whatever. All I remember is that number and being slightly hesitant to do whatever task I had to do. Normally, that number doesn't bother me (it's just a number, imo). It does freak my mom out, though. She HATES that number. Anytime her groceries ever came out to a total that had the number "666" in it, she'd buy us gum or candy to change the number. Anywho, yeah, totalleh weird.

I woke up at 8:30 this morning and went out to say hi to teh rents. As with any occasion where mom is packing/in a hurry, she becomes very edgy and annoyed with everyone/everything. So I went back to my room and played Splinter Cell for a while, lol. I felt kinda bad cuz we really didn't spend much time together but she was yelling at everyone, so I didn't really wanna be around her at the time. We did drive to the library together and it was nice to be with her when she was somewhat calm then.

Around 1:30, mom and dad left. I cried. I miss them already, I don't know how I'm gonna get through the next few days, lol. Thankfully, dad's phone has a decent signal, so at least we can call them (last time we were there, Nick's and my phones didn't have any bars). I spent the rest of the day eating (I eat when I'm depressed, lol...or when I'm bored) and playing Splinter Cell. At 4:30, Nick and I played Crash Bandicoot: Nitro Kart and CB: Tag Team Racing. The former was kinda scheissy, but the latter was super fun. :D

Okay, is it just me, or is this commercial effing hilarious?

Alrighty, I'm a tad scared cuz I let the dog out to go to the bathroom in the front yard and there were TWO adult guys walking down the sidewalk in front of our house and then they kinda just stopped and stood there for a few minutes. I gotta say, it really freaked me out. Also? There's a serial rapist on the loose and he attacks at night while girls are sleeping. *shudders* So SO scared right now. Good thing Nick and I have a stash of daggers/swords we got from all the Renaissance fairs we've been to.

Just to be safe, though, I locked everything in sight and turned on a light in every room. :} Tyler (of the 5awesomegays) posted a new vid and it's really funny, imo. See for yourselves. Also, the title of this post is from this Letterman interview with Stephen Colbert, of course. ;] I thought it was somewhat funny until the whole audience erupted in laughter, and now I think it's dirty. *shakes head*

Shit. Tyrone just shut down thrice and I had to post this in the living room. *headdesk* Celli, I dunno if you're reading this, but if you are, the only reason I haven't replied to any email you may have sent me is cuz of Tyrone. I'll get back to you ASAP. <3

I think that's it. I've gotta take a shower and then I'm gonna try to fix Tyrone. I will reply to any comments left here, though. I'm gonna be on the living room computer for a while, I guess. Meh.
Tyrone seems okay now...*knock on wood*

Freaky Shit That Scares Me a Bit (Yay Rhyming!) - Halloween Edition
Hello people!

Okay, dad just divulged something that COMPLETELY freaked me out and I totally believe him, so tell me what you guys think. It's frightening, that's for sure.

Dad gets up before everyone else in the house. Usually at 5:00. And he comes out to the living room and watches the news. Lately, cuz of Halloween, he's been downloading freaky music to play in our haunted tomb outside. He downloaded this CD of scary music, which includes some Egyptian stuff (teh theme of our set-up).

He got up this morning, as usual, and got on the computer. He started listening to a few of the songs whilst by himself (alone and in almost complete darkness - the TV was on but was turned down). He swore he heard someone walking down the hall. He recognized the breathing as mom's when she's sleeping.

Someone with mom's voice stood in the living room doorway and said, "Eric." That's dad's name. Dad turned and said, "What?" The scary part? Nobody was there. NO ONE. Mom was still in the bedroom, sleeping.

Remember a while ago, when I mentioned all those weird things happening around the house? Kay, well I forgot about 'em til now. And on the eve of Halloween. I'm a tad freaked out, I must admit. *shudders*

Thoughts?

Partnership for An Idiot-Free America
Hello people!

I dunno how long I have cuz my poor Tyrone keeps freezing. He's not feeling too well, I spose. So I'll have to try to get this done as fast as possible.

Okay, remember a while ago how I bought that Sleep pillow spray from Bath and Body Works? I stopped using it for a while cuz I just forgot about it, but I used it the past few nights and now, every night that I use it, I remember dreams quite vividly. It's weird. And, I sleep for a really long time. *shrugs* It must really work, lol.

I woke up at 11:30 today and when I came out from my room, mom was like, "Did you stay up late last night?" And I said no cuz I was only up til...what...one? If that? She said, "Then why'd you sleep so late?" As if it's completely under my control how long I sleep. I dunno about you guys, but I have absolutely NO control over when I wake up. If my alarm clock goes off, I'll get up, but I can't simply wake up on my own.

Anywho, I took a shower. Afterwards, mom and dad asked me to watch Prison Break with them. So we watched it and then Nick pissed dad off about doing some chores or something, so we had to clean the bathroom. I hate cleaning the bathroom almost as much as I hate doing the dishes, and that's A LOT. But we got it done pretty fast and then I started watching a movie I taped last night.

Speaking of, on Turner Classic Movies last night, they were having a crazy killer marathon. Psycho was on, and I'd never seen it before, so I watched it. I gotta say, I know it must have been scary when it first came out, but it's definitely NOT scary now. It was stupid, imo. Especially a specific scene regarding the PI. Um, yeah, pretty lame.

Then, they had Peeping Tom on, and Celli had mentioned it last night, so I figured I'd check that out, too. It was decent. Much better than Psycho. A little odd, but all those older horror movies were, weren't they? Strait-Jacket was on afterwards, and I thought it sounded cool, but I had to go to bed, so I taped it. And that's what I watched today. It's okay. I dunno, it's really kinda weird. I dunno, I don't dislike it but I don't like it. *shrugs*

Moving on. Dad and I went to get a car battery for my sweet car, Jaws, and then we stopped at good will so I could find some cowboy boots. Guess what? They didn't have any. Halloween is THIS FRIDAY and I still don't have cowboy boots. I'm kinda losing my mind over this, lol. I can't pay more then $20 for a pair cuz I'm not gonna wear them again, but it seems like NOBODY sells cowboy boots! We checked eBay, but they're so expensive...

Whilst out, we saw a car with a bumper sticker that said, "Partnership for an Idiot-Free America." I thought it was hilarious, lol. OH! Heads up, guys: incase you don't know yet, THIS WEDNESDAY (Oct. 29th) from 8:30 PM til 12:30 AM (that's Pacific time...Eastern time, it's 11:00-11:30 PM), LiveJournal will be OFFLINE. They are working on a server. So, yeah. Here's the article.

I feel like I'm forgetting something, damn it. Oh, bother. Think, think, think. Nope, it's gone.

You've Gotta Do It Yoda-Style
Hello people!

You're gonna think I'm so utterly lame, lol, but after my Goosebumps-athon yesterday, I had trouble getting to sleep last night. See, I looked up every episode on Wikipedia and read the plots (which, sans lame-ass actors, could actually be quite frightening). Then, I was reading Twitter, and someone posted that they were watching "A Tale of Two Sisters", which is a Japanese (methinks) horror film.

I looked up the film on Amazon and they always show other movies that are similar to the product you're looking at, ya know, so they had a buncha other Japanese horror films shown. I started clicking through 'em and reading the plots in the dark cuz it was 11:30 at night. And then I went to bed. I could not fall asleep until 1:30. It was my own fault, I spose, but I just kept thinking about the movies and Goosebumps and monsters and blahhh.

I fell asleep clutching Rose (my fave teddy bear) and my dagger that I usually keep under Teddy (my giant teddy bear). Hehe. I woke up at 4:00, tossed and turned a bit, fell back asleep. Woke up at 5:00, tossed, slept, woke up at 5:30 and was pretty much awake til my alarm went off at 6:00. I desperately wanted to stay home but I'm not allowed unless I'm hacking up a lung or something.

Apparently, teh rents didn't sleep well last night either, so everyone was tired. *shrugs* We had a 50 minute late start this morning but teh rents couldn't give us a ride to school (work conflicts), so we had to take the bus at the regular time. Which means we had to sit in the cafeteria for an hour until school ACTUALLY started. There were a ton more kids there than I hoped would be and they WOULDN'T STFU. Which pissed me off.

Oh, OH, remember how my headphones broke last week? And Nick loaned me his, but then took them back on Saturday to use for the weekend? Well he didn't give them back to me this morning, so I couldn't listen to my music AT ALL and that really bums me out. I need my effing music, lol, so yeah, I was in a bad mood.

However, the annoyingly chatty people in the cafeteria did inspire me to write a new dark story. So...yay...? XD I spent most of the time writing until class started. We did nothingness in photo. We also did nothing in math. We had our press conference in AP Gov., and unfortunately, my group had to go and we weren't really that prepared. Half our group forgot stuff. *headdesk* So we didn't do too well, but that's okay.

Forensics was so epically dull. I kinda hate that class. All we did was take notes. MindCandy was a blast, as usual. We're starting a new project (NO MORE POETRY WHOO): we're making zines! :D We're making them in funky designs, like one of them is a box with an accordion format inside the lid so that all the writings and drawings that they put in the zine basically folded out like an accordion.

So my format is gonna be a TV with each different poem and quote and short story I put in as different channels that slide in-and-out of the screen. It's kinda hard to explain, but I'll post a pic of it when it's done. Which won't be for a long time, LOL! XD Then we had free time, and Tyler started narrating the actions of everyone in class and it was furcking HILARIOUS. We all secretly agreed to do the same to Tyler tomorrow and it's gonna rock, lol.

The title of this post is something Bryan said in MindCandy (I call him Adams, can you guess why?). Tyler was saying a few sentences the way Yoda would say them (i.e.: "Tired, she is."). Then Tyler said something normal and Adams was like, "You've gotta do it Yoda-style!" and I replied, "That's what she said." XD TWOOT.

Let's see...oh, right! Like I said yesterday (right...?), I had to stay after school today to propose to get funding for "18 in '08" from the Student Senate, so I went to the library to just chill for the two and a half-ish hours I had to wait. I figured I could get some writing done on the computer. I saw a bud of mine, Bosco, sitting in the corner, so I joined him and we talked and laughed and such for about thirty-forty minutes, lol. It was fun!

I spent the rest of the time writing. I made significant progress in my first dark story I mentioned yesterday (I believe). I was quite proud of myself, lol. At 2:00, mom called me and said she was outside and asked if I wanted to come with her to get a drink before I had to go do the proposal thing. We stopped at Donatos and got drinks then decided to get some chicken fingers, which were surprisingly good! :D

We went back to school and I did my presentation to four people, which took me about a minute, lol. They said, "That sounds cool, come back tomorrow and present to everyone else." So now I have to stay after AGAIN. Grrness. But I guess I can spend my time writing like I did today. Which is always fun. After that, mom and I went to Panera and I got a cheese danish (OMF, it was so good) and a frozen caramel drink.

We stopped off at Giant Eagle and got some random stuffs. I forced convinced mom to get me another Goosebumps DVD which has four eps on it. YAYZ! X] Then we had to go pick dad up from work, then we had to go get Nick from the coffee shop. And finally, we came home. Tonight is a big night for TV, but we're all so tired, we're just gonna record everything from 9:00 on and go to bed early. I'm looking forward to sleeping.

And now, I think I'll go make some food.

Freaky Shit That Scares Me a Bit (Yay Rhyming!)...And Fun Stuff
Hello people!

Okay, get this: I came home today and the dryer was running. It didn't occur to me that no one had been home for, oh, six hours and the dryer should've shut off by then. It kept running until 6:00, when we realized it had been running ALL DAY. That has never happened before. But wait, there's more.

Nick came home today and the XBOX was on. And he hadn't left it on. And no one had been in his room all day, including animals. His door was shut all day and completely empty. Two days ago, I turned on my computer and left the room cuz it takes a while for it to turn on. When I came back about ten minutes later, an internet had opened up on it's own. I never opened one.

Am I stupid for being a tad freaked out by all this? I mean, if it was over a long span of time, okay. But it's over the span of three days. *shudders*

Now for some cool stuff:
+ Neil Patrick Harris sings again (with a friend!).
Tyler Oakley rants on diversity (and it's funny).
What if Jesus ran for Prez? Hilarious results, that's what.

And my fave vid of the day: Mr. Hogg works his magic again with the insanely awesome puppet!Stephen Colbert, this time, interviewing puppet!Palin. GOLD.

Did You Bring Tissues Down With You? ...No...

Hello people!

Guh...thankfully, the warning has passed us. I'm still freaked out, but supposedly, the tornado has moved north/east-ish. I can still hear those damn sirens, though. I think I'm gonna be awake for a while. *sigh*

At least nothing happened. That's something I really hate about Ohio; tornado watches/warnings. I hate tornadoes. They're so fucking scary. We never got tornado watches/warnings in New England. I miss the safety.

BTW, that title is from my bro; he asked if my dad had brought tissues into the basement when we all scrambled down there. *rolls eyes* I love Nick, but sometimes he's such an idiot.

I gotta find something to do or I'm gonna go crazy. I guess I'll write...yeah, I'll write. It'll take my mind off this.

Thanks for being here, guys. You're all made of crazy win. <3

Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck

Holy shit. Holy fucking shit.

We're in a tornado warning right now and it's pounding the house in fucking hard rain and wind and holy fuck.

It passed RIGHT DOWN THE STREET FROM OUR HOUSE.

I've never been so fucking worried in my whole fucking life. I'm shaking right now. I can still hear the damn sirens.

I just want this to be fucking over NOW.

I'll report back when we can come up from the basement.
