Anything New in Your Uterus?
Hello people!

Dad tried to wake me up two or three times this morning.

I finally got up at about 10:00. Of course, I took a shower, then I flipped through a couple magazines cuz I was bored. Dad was at a hair salon to talk about doing a mural there. He was gone for an hour or so. I watched some TV and just chilled for a while. Um, god, it's getting harder and harder to remember what happened during the day...uh...I got the mail and found Lady Gaga's new CD waiting there for me! :D

I also got a movie I bought for mom and a CD I bought for dad for Christmas. I informed him that I got Lady Gaga's CD and he asked me if he could rip the songs to his computer. XD I HAVE OFFICIALLY TURNED HIM INTO A GAGA FAN. MOOOOOOHAHA, lol. I'm stoked. Anywho, um, at one point, we got in a fight and I wrote that post I put up earlier. But we made up and I did the dishes and made myself a late lunch.

We watched Grounded for Life at 4:00, again, where the title of this post is from. After that, we went outside to put some Christmas lights on one of the trees in the front yard. Dad brought a football outside and we tossed it back and forth for a bit. That was fun! And dad was thrilled that he got to throw the football with one of his kids, lol (both Nick and I kinda sorta hate sports, lol, so we don't usually do stuff like that).

We put up a few strands of lights then went back inside cuz it started sprinkling. About an hour later, mom got home. We all watched the news and Cash Cab til 7:00, when we headed down the street to a pizza place to get dinner. It was delicious, of course. Tonight was the big night for TV, so we watched Modern Family, The Middle and Glee, though the ep of Modern Family that we watched wasn't new.

I recorded the new eps of that and Cougar Town to watch later. The shows were awesome tonight, seriously. Glee was so good. I love that show so much. And now, I'm gonna go have a chocolate chip muffin.

The HTML Format Tab Isn't Helping Any...
Hello people!

I'm very annoyed right now.

Title of this post is a very small part of it; I use rich text almost all the time, so fact that the HTML tab is the one that's open when I go to post is irritating me. But that's not the reason that I'm posting right now. I'm posting because lately, I've been holding back on family details. Not for any particular reason, I just rush to get my blog done and don't give it the attention it deserves anymore, so my blogs aren't as full as they should be.

Anywho, since I came back home for Thanksgiving break, I've been doing chores. I understand that I'm still a member of this family and a part of this household, even if I don't *live* here all the time, so I know I have to do chores. That's fine. But I want everything to be equally divided amongst the bro and myself. For the past two or three days, Nick has slept for a good chunk of the day, while I do chores without protest.

Now, I'm not saying I don't ever complain about chores or that I do them all the time, cuz I do complain and I don't do them all the time. But as of late, I've been doing everything and Nick has been doing hardly anything. Today, dad asked me to do the dishes. I did the dishes multiple times yesterday, as well as the laundry, while Nick was napping after school, so I was a little annoyed with that.

I told dad that I'm a bit ticked that I've been doing everything lately and Nick's been doing nothing, and he freaked out. He yelled at me and told me to get out, even though I was doing the fucking dishes, like he asked me to. I told him no, I was doing the dishes, chill out. But he kicked over a stool, got in my face and screamed for me to get out and that he had had enough of my and my brother's complaining.

Excuse me, but if he balanced out the chores instead of making me do everything, maybe I wouldn't complain. So I went upstairs and now I'm stuck in my room. I'm hungry, I'm depressed and I need someone to talk to. And, ya know, this isn't the only area where dad's better to Nick. For the past three years, whenever I wanted something to eat for lunch, I better make it myself or I'm not gonna eat.

But mom and dad are constantly making food for Nick instead of making him do it himself. I don't understand it! I know that they think Nick isn't responsible enough to take care of himself, or that if they don't make him food, he will literally starve himself cuz he's too lazy to make stuff for himself, but if they keep babying him, he is not going to survive when he has to move out and live on his own.

And, ya know, every single day, it's like I've gotta walk on pins and needles to avoid setting off the ticking time-bombs that are my parents and my brother. Absolutely any little thing can set them off, and it usually does. I expect mom to come home pissed off and to cause a riff in whatever good mood we may be in, though I think that's already ruined for the day. I know, I know, I should've just shut the fuck up and done the dishes.

I regret that I said anything but I'm so sick of being made to do everything. But what am I thinking? No one in my family will ever change. They take anything you say painfully personally and as a personal attack. I feel like we all need to talk to a therapist, just so that someone NOT connected to us would tell each of us (including myself) what we need to hear so we can fucking CHANGE for the better and function better.

I'm just sick of everything. I have half a mind to go back to sleep and just pretend today didn't happen.

A GUY ON A NUN ON A DONKEY ON A HORSE!
Hello people!

Dad woke me up at about 10:30 today.

I took a shower right quick and went to the kitchen to hang with dad. He was listening to music and we just chilled for a while. Then he started cleaning out the closet in the foyer and I did the dishes. I spent a couple hours looking at online colleges today. And I've been checking out criminal justice degrees. OMG, you guys, I found the coolest-sounding criminal justice degree EVER. The classes sound amazing! :D

Unfortunately, it's only for the last two years of the Bachelors degree, so I'd have to get my Associates somewhere else, then transfer. SO, that's what I'm gonna do. Dad and I made a quick run to the grocery store to pick up some stuff for tonight's dinner. I did some laundry when we got back, then looked at online schools some more. We've kinda just been hanging out today. We watched TV for a while, including Grounded for Life.

Title of this post is from that, of course. Um, let's see, mom came home around 5:30 and we had tacos for dinner. They were SO GOOD. Oh my goodness, lol. I went out to the living room to lay down by our fireplace oven thingy cuz I was cold, and I heard mom and dad talking about financial issues. Dad's been getting unemployment for a while now, but the benefits might end on Sunday and he doesn't have a job, still. He's looking, but it's hard, ya know?

And mom hates her job cuz her bosses haven't got the slightest clue how to run a business. I'm about to change schools and move back home which means they're gonna have to start paying for me again until I can get a job. I just hate this. I wish there was something I could do, but I don't know what (other than get a job ASAP). Anywho, after that, we gathered in the living room and watched Christmas With the Kranks, which we love, so that was fun.

That's about it and Firefox keeps freezing and shutting down on me, so I wanna finish this up real quick and then go to bed.

You Just Angered a Hefty Transvestite Man
Hello people!

I was woken up around 9:30 this morning by dad.

I took my shower before going to bed last night, so I didn't need to worry about that. Nick was at school and mom was at work. I went downstairs and just chilled with dad for a while before we went out to Wal*Mart for groceries. On the way, we listened to the soundtrack from A Colbert Christmas and I realized that dad has never actually seen the special! :O So we're gonna have to watch it, like, this week.

When we got to Wal*Mart, we picked up about half of what we needed; they didn't have everything else. We went to Hannaford next and got the rest of what was on our list (with a few things that weren't on the list). We went home after that and that's about all that's happened today. I did the dishes and watched TV and scoped out online colleges. I applied to University of Phoenix for a criminal justice degree, believe it or not.

I think that will help me get a better handle on the inner-workings of law enforcement and forensics since I need to know about that stuff to write my thriller novels. So, yeah. I watched Grounded for Life, where the title of this post came from. And now, um, I'm bored and the fam's kinda disgruntled with each other. Mom came home grumpy again and, of course, it always affects everyone. We're just gonna watch TV tonight.

Pretty uneventful day. Although, I do believe I have made dad secretly like Lady Gaga. He was humming Bad Romance all day and he keeps looking up Lady Gaga videos, AND, he asked me about her songs this morning. I'm pretty happy about all that, lol. Oh, I also picked up a job application for GameStop and edited my resume today, but that's not really a big deal, lol. Okay, I'm done.

Dick Cheney's Soul on the Way to the Devil
Hello people!

Another late night. My bad!

Today was significantly better than yesterday, lol. Dad woke me up around 11:30 and I took a quick shower. He was working outside, so I went out to see him. I apologized for last night and he said it was okay and that he was in a very good mood today. He was blasting Christmas music from his radio; that was awesome. I helped him move a couple boxes from the breezeway, then told him that my bike was stolen.

Did I mention that? Cuz yeah, my bike was stolen, lol. Anywho, I'm not really upset about it; I mean, it sucks that someone took my freaking bike, but it was old and too small for me anyway, so... He didn't take it all that well and asked me to go back inside and just let him work. He eventually got happier, thankfully. Mom came home around 1:00 and Nick came down to join us in the kitchen. We were all inside then.

I was flipping through the channels on the TV when I came across Mean Girls. I, of course, turned it on cuz I LOVE that movie. Well, mom and Nick got into it and now they love it, too! :D I win. It was so much fun, all of us watching that together (dad had seen it already, but he was enjoying, too). At 3:30, we all decided to go out. We needed to get out of the house for a while. We first went to Bed, Bath and Beyond.

We easily spent half an hour to an hour in there looking at random and totally awesome kitchen supplies. It was so much fun! I mean, you don't really expect to have fun in that store, but it really was a blast. It was about 5:00 when we left there, I think, and we decided to go to dinner. We went to Ruby Tuesdays and I got the salad bar, as usual. It was delicious! The carrot slices were kinda freaking huge, though.

I wasn't pleased with that, lol. I like thinly-sliced carrots. *shrugs* The Ruby's was attached to a mall, so we walked around there for a few hours. We stopped in Hot Topic, where I picked up a Spiderman t-shirt and a Journey t-shirt, both on clearance. <3 We passed an Invisible Fence kiosk/pagoda in the mall, and on it there was a mini!Christmas tree with those little generic spherical ornaments.

I took two of them and attached them to my earrings so it looked like I was wearing ornaments as earrings. Believe it or not, they actually kinda looked good. I expected them to look silly, but I think they were cool. So I wore them around all night. We went to Spencer's and mom bought me a tie on sale, but is gonna give it to me for a Christmas present, so I can't have it yet. ;] No worries. We went to Target after that.

I bought a cute Christmas mug, some Trident Layers gum (after seeing their kickass commercial, how can you NOT buy it, lol?) and the new John Mayer CD for mom for Christmas. I am SO excited to give everyone their presents. GAH, I don't wanna wait. XD Anywho, um, after that, we made a quick stop at Dunkin Donuts then went on home. Teh rents and I watched Castle, where the title of this post is from.

And now, we're all going to bed. YAY SLEEP!

Tell Me, Again, About the Time You Got a Splinter
Hello people!

FINALLY, the pics of our haunted house-esque garage setup for Halloween have uploaded onto Photobucket. SO, here's the picspam I promised.

WARNING: THE FOLLOWING CONTAINS GRAPHIC IMAGERY. VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED. )

The end. There was a fence and some tombstones and such in the yard, but we didn't get pics of those. And obviously, the garage was very dark and had strobe lights and shit going off, dad just used his flash for most of the pictures (though I think he could've gotten more of them without the flash and had that extra scare factor...but whatevs, lol).

She Says the Suit Has More Sex Appeal Than He Ever Did
Hello people!

I'm feeling like everything is pointless at the moment...I hate this feeling...ugh.

Dad woke me up at 8:30 this morning, and I went downstairs to take a shower. We all got ready to go out; today, we celebrated dad's birthday (even though it's actually tomorrow) cuz I have to go back to school tonight. We went to a Halloween store to get stuff half off. It was awesome! I got a shimmery pink tie, red and black striped socks, a pentacle necklace with little blue orbs at each point of the star, and a Greek arm cuff.

Unfortunately, the cuff is a little smaller than I thought and doesn't really fit on my arm. But perhaps it'll fit on Jen's? *shrugs* Dad got a TON of stuff, mostly clown/circus decor for next year's theme for Halloween. I'm not looking forward to that; clowns really scare me. In fact, one of the things dad got is terrifying and I hate it. *shudders* It's a life-size clown with a dagger in its hand and it's so hideous. Bleh! D:

It was about 11:00 when we left and we were hungry, so we went to Ninety-Nine for lunch. We all got chicken tenders and we all enjoyed them, lol. We had a really good time there; we were totally silly and they played awesome tunes, and even our waiter was a pretty cool dude ...he was kinda cute, too, hehe. After that, we decided to go to a Barnes&Noble down the street. We were there for a long time; easily three or four hours.

I didn't buy anything, but I flipped through a few books and sat down and read this one called, The Box. Yes, it explains the origination of the movie, but the story in the book is a little different, methinks. Also, the book had a handful of short stories, including, "Button, Button," which is what inspired the movie (The Box). ANYWHO, one of the stories was about this guy, Charlie, who couldn't function without wearing each piece of his suit.

If he didn't have his shoes on, he couldn't walk, if he didn't have his hat on, he couldn't think, etc. Charlie's brother, a drunken man whose name we never find out, is telling Charlie's story to a stranger at a party on the balcony of an apartment. Charlie's brother explains that, last week, Charlie's suit came to life, put itself together in front of the mirror, laughed at Charlie (who was curled up on his bed), then went to Charlie's job.

Miranda (:D), Charlie's wife, left him for his suit and said that *points to title of post*. The stranger that Charlie's brother is talking to says something like, "Really? You don't say..." and then Charlie's brother passes out from being so drunk. The stranger stands up, goes back into the party, gets Miranda and leaves. The End...get it? The stranger was Charlie's suit, lol. ;D I thought that story was pretty funny.

So, yeah, we sat in the store for a while and I drank some coffee. Around 4:00, we went on home. Mom finished dad's birthday cake (which is more like a pie than a cake...actually, I think it's cheesecake...I don't know, lol) and I helped her do some dishes. Now we're watching football. Oh, and FUCK YEAH to the Dolphins beating the Jets today! That made my day. XD <3 We're gonna have dad's cake soon...YAY!

I'm heading back to school at about 7:00, which I'm not looking forward to. I desperately wanna just stay here and hang with my family. OH, guess what? My mom said that if I hurry up and apply to the school I'm gonna transfer to (Champlain College) and get that shit done, then I can just leave Green Mountain at the end of this semester and can just live at home and work til August! :D I'm so excited for that! <333

Death By Falling Bucket
Hello people!

I had a dream last night...um...the details of which have, unfortunately, escaped my mind. Guh.

Dad woke me up at about 10:30 again this morning. He wanted me to make fliers to put up to attract people to our house, since we heard not many people come our way. I made fliers shaped like tombstones and they came out really cool! :D But guess what? It started raining, so we couldn't put those up. *facepalm* Colby came over and helped dad, so I built this tree of lights inside, which dad asked me to do.

It was a cheap piece of shit and branches kept snapping off as I tried to bend them into place (and I'm talking barely moving them). I finally finished building it whilst watching Forensic Files (there was a marathon on today! :D). Then I started working on the second and last pumpkin. It took me a while to empty out its insides, and even longer to find what I wanted to carve into it, but I eventually did find the right image.

It's a little hard to get exactly what I was going for, but in the image, there's a guy hung on a tree in the background and a couple tombstones nearby, and then there's a dead guy who was also hanging from a tree, but cut himself down from his noose and is walking away from the gallows. :D

Hangman is comin' down from the gallows and I don't have very long... )

I'm so proud of my pumpkins this year, I just love them. <3 So, after carving that, mom and I went to the store to pick up a few things for dinner. By the time we got out of the store, it was pouring down rain outside. It sucked, and we just knew dad would be pissed off and upset when we got back. We were right. We brought in the groceries while Colby and Nick helped him. I actually had to finish my pumpkin, so I worked on that.

Then I made dinner, which was a mexican meatloaf head with mashed potato brains and taco sauce blood. It actually came out pretty cool! And it tasted awesome! :D I only made the face down to his nose, which is kinda hard to make out in the shitty webcam pic. I forgot my damn camera AND my Flip camcorder. I only have pics for you guys, no video. Just putting that out there. ANYWHO, onward ho...

Fred's Head is so mmm, mmm, good. )

I really had to talk mom into letting me do that and I'm so glad she finally did. I love it! XD I went outside to help dad and Nick while dinner was cooking in the oven, but it turns out my help wasn't really needed; very, VERY few kids came out because of the rain and the wind. It sucked and we all felt like shit. We all worked so fucking hard on the decorations, and they were amazing! I seriously could've cried.

At 8:30, we came inside and ate our late dinner of Fred's Head (that's what I have dubbed it, lol). Mom was watching Carrie, so we watched that. Nick's friends came by after trick-or-treating and watched it with us. There was only about half an hour left to the movie, so after it was finished, Nick and his buds went upstairs. We flipped through the channels and stopped on The Haunting of Molly Hartley, which had an hour left.

It was so fucking stupid. Holy crap, that movie is retarded. Poorly-acted, poorly-done, stupid story. Just plain awful. Anywho, I turned it to Most Shocking on truTV for an hour, then we watched an ep of Forensic Files. Mom started falling asleep around 11:30, so we all got ready for bed and now, here we are. I'm feeling very down right now and just wanna sleep. I don't wanna do anything but sleep for the rest of my life...

Oh, before I go to bed, I took pics of the Halloween decorations with dad's camera, but Photobucket doesn't want to upload them tonight, so I'll post them in a picspam post tomorrow.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

P.S. Title of this post is something Nick said about the boyfriend in Carrie getting knocked out by the bucket. He thought the guy had died, and said that *points to title*, lol.

I'll Have a Chocolate Muffin...You Had a Chocolate Muffin Yesterday
Hello people!

Dad woke me up to help him put up some Halloween decorations at about 10:30 today.

I took a shower, then went outside to help dad. Oh, man, it was so fun. We made some, what we call, "dead guys," which are pants and shirts stuffed with newspaper and whatnot, then connected to look like a body. We set them up how dad wanted 'em. Then we splattered some blood on some of the decorations. Dad chained a dead guy up on the ceiling, which was epic. We took a break around 1:30 for lunch.

I had mac 'n' cheese and watched a little TV. I helped dad a little more til Nick got home, when dad took a break to take him to get coffee down the street (at Cumberland Farms). I was cold from being outside (it was windy today), so I decided to be done helping dad for now and to carve a pumpkin, since we didn't have any carved for tomorrow. The pumpkins we carved for the Pumpkin Fest obviously had to be left there.

They also would be rotten by now, lol. So, I spent about an hour trying to decide what to carve. I really didn't know for a long time, til I remembered a pic I had in my random photos folder on my computer. It was of Jack Skellington, leaning on a huge jack-o-lantern with smaller jack-o-lanterns and pumpkins around him and a creepy fence behind him. So, I did my best to carve it out...

Tender lovelings everywhere, would you like to have a good scare? )

I'll get a better picture (and a video) tomorrow night. I'm also gonna carve another pumpkin tomorrow. It took me, like, four hours to do that (scooping out, carving, etc.). *headdesk* I watched TV while I did that, perhaps that why it took me so long, lol. Title of this post is from What I Like About You. It's funnier in context, but it's hard to explain, lol. *shrugs* Anywho, we had waffles for dinner and they were delish!

Mom has a Facebook, and so does her old friend Cindy (from high school), and Cindy put up a picture of her and mom on a special Senior Night back when they were in high school. Mom and Cindy used to dress up like the Blues Brothers (I think they did it a couple of times), and they did so in the picture. They look awesome, let me say. And I had to show you guys cuz my mom is gorgeous! :D She's on the left...

Back when THEY were in high school... )

Gotta love it, lol. TOMORROW'S HALLOWEEN! Get excited. ;]

Maybe He Was Fancy; Strangled People With His Pinkies Out
Hello people!

Dad woke me up around 10:00 this morning.

He invited me to go with him to pick up some chairs for the kitchen from Pier One. I said I'd love to go, so I got up, got dressed and ready to go, and we left at about 10:30. We got to Pier One around 11:00, I think...actually, it might have been closer to 11:30, but whatever. Mom was nearby (she'd just finished an appointment), so she stopped in the Pier One parking lot to say hi before going on home.

See, she's not allowed to go anywhere in her work car that's NOT an appointment, so she really shouldn't have even stopped to say hi to us, but whatever, I think that rule is really stupid. Anywho, she headed home and dad and I picked up the chairs. There was this place called, "The Candy House" next to Pier One. Of course, we had to stop there. XD I wound up getting a caramel apple, a lollipop for Nick, and some chocolate-covered strawberries for later.

Dad got some random chocolates for all of us. Then we went home to meet up with mom. We went back out to a pub down the street for lunch. I got chicken tenders (though they were tiny, so they were more like nuggets, lol) and awesome curly fries. The food was so good. Holy monkeys, lol. I had my chocolate-dipped strawberry for dessert and then we decided to go up to Wilton, where there's a Barnes&Noble.

We spent quite a few hours there (three, I think, lol). I got a caramel macchiato from the cafe and found a bunch of stuff on sale. Here, I made a video about it (it's only about 2:30 long).

After that, we went home. Mom still wanted to shop, but she didn't have the energy (she just felt like staying out, ya know?). I wanted to continue shopping, too, despite the fact that I'm quickly depleting my cash supply, LOL. MOVING ON, when we got home, I went upstairs and caught up on my YouTube subscriptions. I also, as mentioned in the video above, downloaded some kickass music.

I watched the Bones ep that I kinda missed cuz our satellite fucked up, then I watched the season two premiere ep of Castle, cuz we forgot to DVR it. Title of this post is from it; it was hilarious. X] Um, oh, last night, I watched the latest ep of Cougar Town on Hulu, which, I dunno if you guys have seen that, but I highly recommend it. It's hysterical, and the characters are super likeable. I also watched The Middle.

OMG, I love that show. Axel, the brother, is almost exactly like Nick. HOLY CRAP, they're so much alike. *shudders* Really, the family is my family. Teh rents watched it when it premiered and they love it, too, and concur with my statements, lol. ;D Okay, that's about it.

You're a Dolphins Fan? That's Rough
Hello people!

Sorry this is so late, I keep getting distracted.

I had a dream that Nick destroyed my hammer and pliers while trying to build some sort of shelf or something. I was furious and crying a lot. Mom comforted me while Nick apologized. I could see he felt bad, but I didn't care, I was so mad at him. Some woman sitting in front of me and mom turned to us and told me not to be upset cuz I was "blessed" that Nick wasn't hurt. That pissed me off even more.

Not the fact that Nick wasn't hurt, the "blessed" thing. It made me wanna punch the woman. Nick sat next to her, having been out of the room when she said the "blessed" comment to me, and she said the same thing to him. Then, for some reason, she wanted to take a picture with him. He decided to take it with his cell phone so he could delete it later. Then I woke up. *shrugs* I don't even know.

Oh, so, I got that awesome idea I mentioned last night and I wanted to start writing it immediately so I wouldn't forget it. Well, I wrote about two pages before I realized that my writing is not what it used to be. At least, my fan!writing isn't...it's very depressing. I know it's just from not having done it in a while and if I keep writing, it'll prolly improve, but ya know. To think I've sunk from where I was bums me out.

Not that I was that high to begin with. I just feel like a n00b cuz my writing just feels...forced, I guess. Look at me, I'm rambling. *shakes head* Anywho, I woke up at 9:20 today and got dressed right away. Then I went downstairs and had something to drink. We spent about an hour just chilling and hanging out before dad and I left (see, dad wanted to have a "him and me" day before I go, which was today).

We went to Dunkin' Donuts first and each got a donut. We ate those in the car and then went bowling! :D That was fun, but frustrating. I always get annoyed cuz I suck so bad at bowling, lol, but I don't want advice on how to get better cuz it makes me feel bad. *shakes head* I'm weird. ;] I won the first game, we both sucked sooooo bad on the second game, and then dad won the third game!

After that, we went out to eat at O'TOOLES, as it was about noon. Our waiter was pretty cute and SUPER nice. He joked with us about the Dolphins cuz I had on my Dolphins shirt and dad had on his Dolphins cap. Title of this post is what he said to us when he came to our table, lol. I got a club sandwich (again) and their amazing fries. And dad and I chatted about women and men and cats and dogs and 80s music and classic rock.

It was pretty awesome, actually. Next, we stopped at Price Chopper and LOWE'S for some shit we needed, and then we went to this cute little candy shop. Unfortunately, the candy shop was incredibly dinky and only had a few shelves of a couple little containers of candy. Meh. I did get a jawbreaker lollipop and a rock candy lollipop thing and an Airhead. Then we went to Cumberland Farms for coffee.

They have the same French Vanilla stuff that Speedway had in Ohio, so mmm. <3 Unfortunately, they didn't have good cream or chocolate creamer, which I really wanted, so it was just-okay-coffee. I did find gum that I wanted, though, so I got that. Then we went home and sat around a bit. THEN, mom got home and we went out to go to this cute book store named, "Red Fox." It was SO adorable!

We didn't get anything, but we intend to go back sometime. We walked around town, but everything was fucking closed (which drives me crazy, businesses should not close at 7:00 PM). We were hungry after walking around, so we stopped at a restaurant called, "Gourmet Cafe." It wasn't that great; it was Italian food and I didn't really like it. I got chicken parm at first, but it was covered in onions (gross).

I changed my order to chicken fingers and, thankfully, those were delicious. We went straight home after that. Dad had me set up a blog for him (incase anyone wants to read it, for some reason, it's here). And I'm gonna set one up for mom tomorrow. Now we're watching Leverage, even though I'm exhausted and my legs hurt and I want to go to bed, but mom INSISTED we watch it now (and she's snoring away on the couch).

Sigh. The end.

BOIL THEM IN THEIR COFFEE!
Hello people!

Holy crap, how did it get so late so quick?! :O

I know I had dreams last night, but I don't remember them. *shrugs* I got up at 10:30-ish today. Nick came in to get me up, but I was already awake, so I asked if he would do some of the race missions I had to do for Vice City, and he said sure. He did that while I went downstairs to say hi to dad and put my contacts in, etc. I wanted something to eat but we seriously have, like, no food. I mean, we do, but we don't.

Do you guys ever feel like that? Like, there's a few things to eat in the house, but nothing sounds good? I get that way a lot. *shakes head* Anywho, I went back upstairs and watched Nick race for a while, then we spent two hours searching for cars cuz you have to complete these lists of vehicles for one of the properties you own (you have to find all the cars on the list and put them in garages on the property).

I took a break to watch Nick play Call of Duty: World at War and then dad said he was gonna get us calzones from this place that's, like, two minutes away from our house. I went with dad to pick them up and ate half of mine when we got home. Then I went back upstairs to complete the lists of cars. After I completed the first list, I could continue the main story, so I did that instead. I beat the game! :D

Now I just have a bunch of extra random stuff I can do, including completing the lists of cars, so that's what I did. I finished the lists in a few hours! <3 That made me pretty happy. :] Dad asked me to come with him to the grocery store, and I did. I got a few things to bring with me on Friday; some granola bars, gum, etc. It occurs to me now that I need to buy tissues. I'll get those at Shaws, I guess.

Dad got me Gobstoppers! :D Um, and that's about it. Title of this post is something Nick thought one of the soldiers in CoD said, when actually, they said, "Boil them in their STEEL COFFINS." Hehe. XD I thought it was amusing. There was a trending topic on Twitter the other day; #bestsexsong. My original choices were George Michael, but I've changed my selection to this song, cuz come on, it's PERFECT.

That Put Me In the Mood for Something Special...Like a Sandwich
Hello people!

I had dreams last night. Fudge-monkeys. >:\

I woke up at 10:50 today and went downstairs. Dad was home and I reminded him that I still had about six or seven books I had to order for school. He said to get his computer and order what I need and he'd tell me his card info. So I ordered everything and all the books are gonna be sent to the school's bookstore, so I've gotta pick them up when I move in. I'm happy about that, it's pretty convenient for me.

I went back upstairs and played GTA pretty much all day again. I brought Celtic with me and snuggled her and played with her a bit. Dad left to meet up with mom so they could do a little shopping and they didn't get back til about 5:00. Dad got Microsoft Office 2007 for me so I can install it on here before my 60-day trial ends (on Monday!). They also got me a bag of chips, a jar of peanut butter, and hot chocolate for school.

YAY FOOD. We still have a few things here and there to get, but I'll prolly just get 'em on Sunday - Poultney, the town where Green Mountain (GM from now on) is located, is SUPER tiny and it's basically a strip of a few shops and the school. There's a Dunkin' Donuts and Shaws and a few other places, so I can stop by those on Sunday to get what I need and just look around. I'm excited about that, it sounds like fun. :]

I made myself some mac 'n' cheese for dinner, but it wasn't all that good. Bleh. Title of this post is something one of the DJs says in Vice City. Um, yeah. That's pretty much it. Here, have a new Toby Turner video (you guys should TOTALLY watch this one, there's a really cool website that he talks about that you should all check out!

I Seem to Have Cut the Dickens Out of My Finger
Hello people!

This is taking far longer than it should. I just can't concentrate.

I woke up to my alarm again at 9:00 today. I went downstairs and the whole family and I were good for a while. Mom left for work an hour after I got up. Nick tried to make mac 'n' cheese and I tried to help him; I wanted to hold the strainer for him while Nick strained the pasta (we have a strainer that has a long, thin handle but no bottom, so we have to hold it while holding whatever pot has the pasta in it).

It's really hard to do by yourself, so I held the strainer for Nick. Well, he accidentally poured a little boiling water on my index finger, but it didn't really hurt. Oh, but dad freaked out. He yelled at Nick a LOT while I rinsed my finger in cold water. My finger was totally fine, it didn't turn any shade of red, nor did it hurt at any time, so I think dad overreacted. He made Nick cry and Nick went upstairs.

Dad left the room for a while and I went upstairs to get away from that shit. I decided to play GTA: Vice City for a while. It felt good, and I LOVED listening to the music (80's FTW), as always. <3 Nick came in a little later and helped me out with a couple missions and we played with the kitten a little. It was fun. :] Um, then mom came and picked me up and we went out to see Julie&Julia and shop at Target.

The movie was so cute. I loved it. It made me really hungry, though, lol! Title of this post is from Dan Aykroyd's Julia Child that he did on SNL, I believe. A bit was included in the movie and it was frikkin hysterical, and I think I quoted him correctly...(or at least pretty close). Moving on, we got pretzel sticks for a snack next cuz dinner wasn't gonna be for another hour. I got some gumballs for later and then to Target we went.

I got a couple pairs of jeans and some new shirts that I totally love. Unfortunately, they were kinda expensive, which made me feel kinda guilty. I wish Target wasn't so damn expensive. >:( AHEM, anywho, after that, we went out to eat at Friendly's. The food was great, the ice cream was delicious and the waitress was super nice. Her son is starting college next Saturday, just like me! :D

Oh, speaking of college, I got my first book in the mail today! I also got a letter telling me I was approved for my Stafford Loan! So that made me happy! <3 Um, after dinner, mom and I went home with the convertible top down, blasting music. SO much fun. Once we got home, dad, mom and I went up to their bedroom and we all watched an episode of Dexter together. Love that show beyond words.

I'm gonna watch tonight's Monk and Psych tomorrow evening. Mom's taking me with her to work all day. It'll be nice to be out of the house for a day. I like getting away every now and then, ya know? :] Anywho, sorry again about Meme Day. :'(

Oh, Yeah, That Man is a Sexy Man-Beast, Right There
Hello people!

I had a dream last night, but I totally don't remember it.

I woke up at 9:00 to my alarm. I quickly got dressed and went downstairs and discovered, upon entering the living room, that the temperature is far lower today than it has been in weeks! There was actually a sufficient breeze blowing through the house! It was awesome. XD Anywho, I went to the kitchen and said hi to mom and dad. Dad was pissed at Nick already cuz I guess Nick was an ass about having to work.

I got an iced tea and just sat at the counter. Mom left about an hour later, and then dad explained to me what he wanted me to do today. He got Nick to come down to help. Nick insisted that he do what was sposed to be my job, so I let him. It's kinda hard to explain, but there were these thin metal pieces...not bars, exactly, but similar...attached to the ceiling to hold up ceiling tiles. We had to take those down.

Nick did that then, when he was done, went out to mow the lawn. There are about...six or seven wooden planks attached to the ceiling (they held up the metal pieces) with screws and nails. Dad wanted me to take the screws out using his drill and he would get the nails later. So I did that next. Nick came in and put away the clean dishes, then I washed what was dirty. The whole time, 80s music was on the radio. <3

After that, Nick went upstairs and fell asleep and I went in search of my missing boxes. I found one of them (with my posters inside! :D) but I'm still missing...well, I think I'm only missing one other box, but I'm not positive. The problem is, I have searched every room in this house and can't find it. I searched my room, the living room, the Green Room, the breezeway, even the garage and basement. Nothing.

I'm kinda freaking out cuz that box had my dreamcatchers and other important stuff in it that I want to find before I go (IN A WEEK AND A DAY). I just don't know what to do. I know we brought it, I watched dad pack all my boxes in the moving truck. So it has to be here, but fucking where? GAH. I wish I had a tracker on all my boxes, lol. That would be extremely helpful. Anywho, that about brings us to here and now.

Oh, dad got this really awesome, totally gorgeous light to put up in the kitchen for mom. It was a surprise, so he (and I) expected mom to be all, "Aww, it's so pretty, thanks!" But when she got home and saw it, she was practically upset about it. She wants pendant lights above the island, which is fine, cuz this light dad got isn't going above the island, so I don't know what her problem is, but she really bummed dad out.

And me, too! I wanted her to be happy about it, it's a really great light! She should be happy. I think something happened today, cuz she came in the house already depressed. I asked her what's wrong, but she won't say. It's very frustrating. Oh well, I guess. Title of this post is from last night's Leverage, which was freaking hysterical and totally awesome. <3 Um, yeah, that's about it.

I'm Afraid of Mr. Bald Guy
Hello people!

I should explain real quick that teh rents get up on their own, every day, no later than 8:00, and that's late. They're usually up at 6:00 or 7:00, sometimes even 5:00. I wake up on my own typically by 10:00, and Nick sleeps way into the afternoon. Anywho, I was woken up by dad screaming, "GET UP!" at 10:30. He left and screamed into Nick's room for him to get up, then stormed downstairs.

I did as I was told and rushed downstairs, where I was yelled at by both mom and dad (though mostly dad) for being lazy. Admittedly, I've been lazy the past few days, but generally, I help out around the house and do my chores and whatnot. Dad was seriously pissed. I'll spare you the details, but dad was a real asshole. He's been that way all day, no matter how nice I've been to him. *shrugs*

So, of course, Nick and I got right to work cuz who wants to be yelled at all day? Nick and I moved my furniture upstairs and into my room. I've FINALLY unpacked my clothes and books and my room is coming along. Slowly, but progress is progress! :D I spent a few hours organizing my room and unpacking shit. Then dad screeched for me to do the dishes and reprimanded me again for being lazy.

*shakes head* I did the dishes and then Nick said he had to go to the high school to register for this coming school year and asked if I wanted to come with. I said sure so we headed out. The school's only, like, five minutes away, if that, so it was a fun walk. And the school is very impressive! The lockers are insanely tall and the hallways are huge and the cafeteria has BOOTHS, like a restaurant! :D

We went to the office and found out the lady who does the registration stuff leaves at 1:00 (and it was, like, 3:00), so we went home. On the way, Nick told me that his new hoodie (which came in the mail two days ago) was $50 - on sale. And yesterday, dad spent $50 on a car wash. And yet, I ask for small things (seriously, I don't believe in buying clothes that cost more than, like, $15) and get yelled at.

The problem is, I have a conscience. I care that my parents are struggling and we shouldn't be blowing cash on stupid expensive shit that we don't need. But Nick doesn't give a fuck. He thinks he's entitled to whatever he asks for, being a kid. I'm kind of annoyed that he gets whatever he wants, but I can't stoop to his level cuz I think it's really terrible to act that way. I guess I'll just settle for what I have.

Um, moving on, when we got back, I fixed dinner. Mom wanted me to make it, so I did. I made this casserole that I LOVE for mom to make - it's got bite-size pieces of chicken, mini!penne pasta, alfredo sauce, and mozzarella cheese. It is SO delicious. And I made it and it came out really well! :D I'm so happy that I didn't screw it up, lol! <3 Uh, and that's where we are. :]

Title of this post is something Nick said when we went to the school. This guy was in the office when we went to register, and he was bald. He seemed kinda anxious for us to get out, so when I asked Nick why he was hesitant to look around the school, he said that *points to title*. Okay, the end.

A Yay Is Better From a Gay!
Hello people!

I woke up at 10:00 today and dad came in my room to say hi. Just randomly, lol. Then he told me that he put up the curtain things that caused such a problem yesterday and said to tell mom that I did it. <3 I was very grateful for that, lol. :] He asked me to wake up Nick cuz I'm the only person in the family who can get Nick up nicely, LOL. He's totally right, Nick usually wakes up for me no problem.

But whenever mom and dad try to get him up, he tends to go back to sleep. Anywho, I got Nick up and went and took a shower. Dad went outside to mow the lawn, so I got a little me-time. I watched some TV and ate a late breakfast (muffin! :D). I know TV's not the most important thing in the world, but it's incredibly annoying when my parents call me downstairs to do shit while I'm trying to watch a show.

I had to make some calls, so I did, but I didn't get through to anyone (it was in regard to the financial aid stuff). Mom got home an hour or so later, and I helped her get her stuff out of her car. Then I helped her organize her bag the second time in a week. She's so disorganized, it drives me crazy, but she doesn't listen to me, even though she asks for my help, lol. *shakes head* Whatevski.

Oh, oh, title of this post is from Will & Grace. Moving on, I had to call my college to let them know I filled out my application for my student loan, which I did, and now mom and dad are discussing payment. You may be wondering why I'm posting this so early. Well, I totally forgot, but mom has to go to this fair thing where Invisible Fence has a booth, and as always, I'm going with her. She hates being alone.

Plus, it's a fair, which means they'll have corn dogs and fries and milkshakes. MMM YAY! XD We have to leave in about an hour and won't get back til 9:30. Oh well, I spose. Don't forget, [info]meme_day is this Saturday! :] I know I'm prolly getting a little annoying with my reminders, lol, but I'm gonna keep posting them every day til Saturday. ;] And now, back to WifeSwap.

I'm Gonna Jump Out the Window Now
Hello people!

I woke up at 10:30 today and went straight down to take my shower. Then I went to say hi to mom and dad and I wound up spending, like, an hour and a half just hanging out with them and chatting and such which. It was fun! I'm getting a little paranoid that I don't really know where all my boxes are, so I went to the breezeway, recalling that a box with my Michael Crichton books was there.

I grabbed that and took it upstairs and just put it aside to unpack later. Dad promised he'd help me get my furniture up to my room tomorrow. It's about freaking time is all I can say about that. God, I only have two things to move and one of them is already in the house, it just needs to go upstairs, so dad's attitude lately about not wanting to help me has really been pissing me off like whoa.

/rage. Anywho, I went upstairs after that and kinda just chilled. I spent a handful of hours on photobucket making these...

Take a look, ya know ya wanna )

I caught up on, like, a week of YouTube video subscriptions, including a couple from Toby Turner, which is where the title of this post is from. Then dad asked me to go to the store with him, and I did. I got Starbucks' coffee ice cream and it's DELICIOUS. I'm gonna play MGS tonight (at some point), cuz I'm really in the mood. Um, oh, and I'm gonna hang up the posters I do have available to me.

I'm a little pissed cuz we have this MGS magazine that I think has some posters or something in it, and Nick took it upon himself to take them ALL without asking if I wanted any and put them up in his room. I'm extra-pissed, cuz the magazine was in MY room before the boys painted it (I was looking through it and wasn't done yet), and Nick just felt it was perfectly acceptable to take it.

It mostly pisses me off that he didn't even bother to ask me if I wanted some, ya know? I wouldn't have minded as much if he just considered SOMEONE other than himself. *headfloor ala Gray Fox* Now I'm gonna have dad help me find MGS posters for college since Nick took 'em all. Okay, that's enough bitching for one post, lol. X] Time for ice cream and TV. <3

Dad, Where Are Your Pants? ...In the Fridge...
Hello people!

I slept better last night, I think because we covered the top of the window with something, which was leaking in freakishly bright sunlight every morning at 6:00. I slept til 7:00 this morning. It was wonderful. Mom got up earlier than me, but yeah, we went down to breakfast at 7:00 and chilled there for half an hour til incredibly loud people came downstairs and practically shouted to each other.

Mom spent the next half hour getting ready and then she left (the seminar started early today). I took my shower and packed everything up and just chilled all morning. Checkout was noon, but we got mine extended to 1:00 so I could hang out in the room a little longer. I spent the morning watching TV again, of course, and I ate my leftover chicken fingers and breadsticks from last night's meal.

One of the Frasiers on this morning was the one where Martin accidentally gets high, and the title of this post is from that ep. It's HILARIOUS, def one of my faves. I went down to the lobby at 12:47 and was able to watch Desperate Housewives and WifeSwap. <3 Mom came to get me at 3:00. We stopped at a rest-stop at five-something to grab some dinner (Burger King). It was, ya know, as good as fast food can be, lol.

I dipped my fries in my shake and mom knew prior to tonight that I did that, but she still thinks it's really weird. I told her that all my friends in high school did that, too, lol, and she thought that was even more weird. I wanted her to try out, but she was too grossed out by it. We spent the next hour and a half talking about food. What foods we like, what foods we don't like, weird combos and textures, etc.

It was incredibly fun. We stopped at an ice cream place right down the street from our house where I got soft-serve chocolate dipped in chocolate. It was so good, I haven't had dip on my ice cream in five years! No one in Ohio ever did it! :D I'm so happy to have dip again, lol. <3 And then we went home! It was so nice to see the kitties and dad and Nick, I actually missed them more than I thought.

Nick made us come up to his room to show us what he'd done; he got, like, six or seven posters (including one of some whore in a bathing suit looking whore-ish) from Spencers and put them up in his room. He also got a bunch of clothes and stuff. I must admit, and I hate this about myself, but everytime Nick gets something and I don't get something, I feel really painfully jealous. I have issues. *shakes head*

I asked dad if he fixed my bed (I think I mentioned this before but half my bed is broken, so I've had to sleep on it in its couch/futon form, on the side that's not broken, lol. I've been sleeping like shit lately, and I think that's why - there's no space to move around. We bought a plank of wood to fix what's broken in my bed.). He said yes, he had, go check it out. Turns out dad painted my room while I was gone. :']

It was such a wonderful surprise. <3 And my room looks AWESOME, I love it!

I had a reason...Fridge Pants... )

We're gonna paint my door with some kind of funky design on it, but I don't know what. Maybe a design like a couple contemporary squares like my old room, or maybe some coffee cups or maybe something completely different...any suggestions? I dunno what I want up there. I love my room, though, it's kickass. I just gotta get my furniture up and get my shit put away, lol, which I can hopefully do tomorrow.

And that's about it. We're watching Hell's Kitchen now and I'm gonna go to bed early-ish tonight. Teh rents and I are going to do a little shopping tomorrow, and I'm stoked for that. I'm hoping I can find some cool stuff while we're out, though for what, I don't know. *shrugs*

I Didn't Know That...What's Your Point?
Hello people!

I keep having vivid dreams. I hate it, I feel like I haven't slept in days. I had a dream last night that I threw this huge birthday party for some girl I knew in high school (we weren't really close, so...*shrugs*). It was weird. Dad woke me up at 10:00-ish this morning. He told me that mom wanted to talk to me, so I called her (she was at work) and she presented me with a proposition.

She has to go to these little seminar thingies for the next three days, and they're a few hours away, so she'll be staying in a hotel (on the company's dime) during them. She hates to be alone, so she asked me if I'd come with her. I said I'd love to. We get to spend some time together away from the boys and the house and I know it's gonna be fun. <3 Plus, the hotel has internet. ;]

So, yeah, I'm pretty excited about that! :D Um, after that call, I took a shower and did some laundry. Then I ate breakfast; chocolate chip waffles and bacon, MMM. Dad asked me to get Nick up, so I did. I kinda went upstairs to watch Nick play some video games cuz dad didn't have anything else for us to do for a while. Later on, dad asked me to do the dishes and following that, I ate an apple.

Then I went back to my room to play MGS. Title of this post is something Snake says to Master Miller. It's prolly funnier if you *hear* Snake say it; he's got a lot of attitude and very little patience, lol. Anywho, then mom came home with chocolate chip muffins from Hannafords (our new local supermarket). They are indescribably delicious, you guys. Holy moo, they're so good. Now I'm back to playing.

I dunno when we're leaving, I just know it's sometime tonight. I actually hope it's kinda soon, cuz I don't wanna miss Hell's Kitchen and I'm afraid we're gonna if we leave any later than, like, 6:00. Uh, yeah, okay then.
