Anything New in Your Uterus?
Hello people!

Dad tried to wake me up two or three times this morning.

I finally got up at about 10:00. Of course, I took a shower, then I flipped through a couple magazines cuz I was bored. Dad was at a hair salon to talk about doing a mural there. He was gone for an hour or so. I watched some TV and just chilled for a while. Um, god, it's getting harder and harder to remember what happened during the day...uh...I got the mail and found Lady Gaga's new CD waiting there for me! :D

I also got a movie I bought for mom and a CD I bought for dad for Christmas. I informed him that I got Lady Gaga's CD and he asked me if he could rip the songs to his computer. XD I HAVE OFFICIALLY TURNED HIM INTO A GAGA FAN. MOOOOOOHAHA, lol. I'm stoked. Anywho, um, at one point, we got in a fight and I wrote that post I put up earlier. But we made up and I did the dishes and made myself a late lunch.

We watched Grounded for Life at 4:00, again, where the title of this post is from. After that, we went outside to put some Christmas lights on one of the trees in the front yard. Dad brought a football outside and we tossed it back and forth for a bit. That was fun! And dad was thrilled that he got to throw the football with one of his kids, lol (both Nick and I kinda sorta hate sports, lol, so we don't usually do stuff like that).

We put up a few strands of lights then went back inside cuz it started sprinkling. About an hour later, mom got home. We all watched the news and Cash Cab til 7:00, when we headed down the street to a pizza place to get dinner. It was delicious, of course. Tonight was the big night for TV, so we watched Modern Family, The Middle and Glee, though the ep of Modern Family that we watched wasn't new.

I recorded the new eps of that and Cougar Town to watch later. The shows were awesome tonight, seriously. Glee was so good. I love that show so much. And now, I'm gonna go have a chocolate chip muffin.

You Just Angered a Hefty Transvestite Man
Hello people!

I was woken up around 9:30 this morning by dad.

I took my shower before going to bed last night, so I didn't need to worry about that. Nick was at school and mom was at work. I went downstairs and just chilled with dad for a while before we went out to Wal*Mart for groceries. On the way, we listened to the soundtrack from A Colbert Christmas and I realized that dad has never actually seen the special! :O So we're gonna have to watch it, like, this week.

When we got to Wal*Mart, we picked up about half of what we needed; they didn't have everything else. We went to Hannaford next and got the rest of what was on our list (with a few things that weren't on the list). We went home after that and that's about all that's happened today. I did the dishes and watched TV and scoped out online colleges. I applied to University of Phoenix for a criminal justice degree, believe it or not.

I think that will help me get a better handle on the inner-workings of law enforcement and forensics since I need to know about that stuff to write my thriller novels. So, yeah. I watched Grounded for Life, where the title of this post came from. And now, um, I'm bored and the fam's kinda disgruntled with each other. Mom came home grumpy again and, of course, it always affects everyone. We're just gonna watch TV tonight.

Pretty uneventful day. Although, I do believe I have made dad secretly like Lady Gaga. He was humming Bad Romance all day and he keeps looking up Lady Gaga videos, AND, he asked me about her songs this morning. I'm pretty happy about all that, lol. Oh, I also picked up a job application for GameStop and edited my resume today, but that's not really a big deal, lol. Okay, I'm done.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

Dick Cheney's Soul on the Way to the Devil
Hello people!

Another late night. My bad!

Today was significantly better than yesterday, lol. Dad woke me up around 11:30 and I took a quick shower. He was working outside, so I went out to see him. I apologized for last night and he said it was okay and that he was in a very good mood today. He was blasting Christmas music from his radio; that was awesome. I helped him move a couple boxes from the breezeway, then told him that my bike was stolen.

Did I mention that? Cuz yeah, my bike was stolen, lol. Anywho, I'm not really upset about it; I mean, it sucks that someone took my freaking bike, but it was old and too small for me anyway, so... He didn't take it all that well and asked me to go back inside and just let him work. He eventually got happier, thankfully. Mom came home around 1:00 and Nick came down to join us in the kitchen. We were all inside then.

I was flipping through the channels on the TV when I came across Mean Girls. I, of course, turned it on cuz I LOVE that movie. Well, mom and Nick got into it and now they love it, too! :D I win. It was so much fun, all of us watching that together (dad had seen it already, but he was enjoying, too). At 3:30, we all decided to go out. We needed to get out of the house for a while. We first went to Bed, Bath and Beyond.

We easily spent half an hour to an hour in there looking at random and totally awesome kitchen supplies. It was so much fun! I mean, you don't really expect to have fun in that store, but it really was a blast. It was about 5:00 when we left there, I think, and we decided to go to dinner. We went to Ruby Tuesdays and I got the salad bar, as usual. It was delicious! The carrot slices were kinda freaking huge, though.

I wasn't pleased with that, lol. I like thinly-sliced carrots. *shrugs* The Ruby's was attached to a mall, so we walked around there for a few hours. We stopped in Hot Topic, where I picked up a Spiderman t-shirt and a Journey t-shirt, both on clearance. <3 We passed an Invisible Fence kiosk/pagoda in the mall, and on it there was a mini!Christmas tree with those little generic spherical ornaments.

I took two of them and attached them to my earrings so it looked like I was wearing ornaments as earrings. Believe it or not, they actually kinda looked good. I expected them to look silly, but I think they were cool. So I wore them around all night. We went to Spencer's and mom bought me a tie on sale, but is gonna give it to me for a Christmas present, so I can't have it yet. ;] No worries. We went to Target after that.

I bought a cute Christmas mug, some Trident Layers gum (after seeing their kickass commercial, how can you NOT buy it, lol?) and the new John Mayer CD for mom for Christmas. I am SO excited to give everyone their presents. GAH, I don't wanna wait. XD Anywho, um, after that, we made a quick stop at Dunkin Donuts then went on home. Teh rents and I watched Castle, where the title of this post is from.

And now, we're all going to bed. YAY SLEEP!

Your Butt Capactiy Has Reached 1.21 Jizziwatts!
Hello people!

I had a dream that I was swimming through this huge canal with a friend of mine, though it was no one I knew in real life. We were on a field trip for Images and we had to get to the very end of the canal before we could go. It was kind of like a video game, actually, in that once I reached the end, there was no going back and I had to move on to the next area. *shrugs* Anywho, you all know my guitar pin, right?

The same one that Chuck Noblet has? Well, I lost it in the canal and I was freaking out. My friend and I went after it and followed it all the way back to the beginning, but it fell deep down in the water and was gone. Then she and I were in the car on the way back to school and we were under this huge comforter, trying to get warm and dry. I said, "I wish my pin was right here," as I dug around in the comforter. My friend laughed.

Then, suddenly, I found the pin on the comforter! It was right on my lap. I squee'd and my friend was like, "Wow, that's lucky." Then I woke up. X] Mom got me up at 10:30 and I, once again, took a shower right away. I watched some TV while mom got ready and then she and I headed out to Olive Garden for lunch. It was fantastic. We got the ushe, of course, and I split the bill with mom. Next, we went to JoAnn's.

Mom was looking for something, but I don't remember what. While there, I got some decent-size jingle bells, cute socks with snowflakes on them and some google-y eyes to glue onto random things at school. XD I'm excited for that, lol. Then, we went to Wal*Mart where I got a santa hat. I wanted to get a really cute teddy bear, but mom told me not to, so I didn't. *shrugs* We stopped at one other place real quick.

Mom just wanted to bop around there, we didn't have a particular reason for going. It was this half restaurant, half store called The Silo. We spent about ten minutes there, then drove over to a park down the street and just sat. All day, we listened to our SheDaisy Christmas CD, which is a mom and me thing. We always listen to it together and always sing every song together. <333 It's our fave CD. :}

We also listened to a couple other songs we like, including "Another Christmas Song," hehe. We went home after sitting at the park for about ten minutes. Since we got home, we've just been chilling out, watching TV. I DVR'd last night's SNL, so we watched that. It was HILARIOUS. Title of this post is from one of the sketches. I think Taylor Swift did a really good job. Um, not much else has happened.

I watched part of the Ed, Edd n Eddy movie. I'm DVR-ing the ending to watch later tonight cuz we're watching Bones right now. I'm staying home tonight and going back to school tomorow morning. I am honestly, seriously emotionally and physically done with college. I don't want to go anymore. Every day feels like it lasts a year. I hate being away from my family. It's really not worth it to me. I think I'm gonna transfer to online classes.

I don't care how bad it sounds that I want to be around my parents so much. I only get one life and I love them more than anything and I want to spend as much time as I can with them.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

Death By Falling Bucket
Hello people!

I had a dream last night...um...the details of which have, unfortunately, escaped my mind. Guh.

Dad woke me up at about 10:30 again this morning. He wanted me to make fliers to put up to attract people to our house, since we heard not many people come our way. I made fliers shaped like tombstones and they came out really cool! :D But guess what? It started raining, so we couldn't put those up. *facepalm* Colby came over and helped dad, so I built this tree of lights inside, which dad asked me to do.

It was a cheap piece of shit and branches kept snapping off as I tried to bend them into place (and I'm talking barely moving them). I finally finished building it whilst watching Forensic Files (there was a marathon on today! :D). Then I started working on the second and last pumpkin. It took me a while to empty out its insides, and even longer to find what I wanted to carve into it, but I eventually did find the right image.

It's a little hard to get exactly what I was going for, but in the image, there's a guy hung on a tree in the background and a couple tombstones nearby, and then there's a dead guy who was also hanging from a tree, but cut himself down from his noose and is walking away from the gallows. :D

Hangman is comin' down from the gallows and I don't have very long... )

I'm so proud of my pumpkins this year, I just love them. <3 So, after carving that, mom and I went to the store to pick up a few things for dinner. By the time we got out of the store, it was pouring down rain outside. It sucked, and we just knew dad would be pissed off and upset when we got back. We were right. We brought in the groceries while Colby and Nick helped him. I actually had to finish my pumpkin, so I worked on that.

Then I made dinner, which was a mexican meatloaf head with mashed potato brains and taco sauce blood. It actually came out pretty cool! And it tasted awesome! :D I only made the face down to his nose, which is kinda hard to make out in the shitty webcam pic. I forgot my damn camera AND my Flip camcorder. I only have pics for you guys, no video. Just putting that out there. ANYWHO, onward ho...

Fred's Head is so mmm, mmm, good. )

I really had to talk mom into letting me do that and I'm so glad she finally did. I love it! XD I went outside to help dad and Nick while dinner was cooking in the oven, but it turns out my help wasn't really needed; very, VERY few kids came out because of the rain and the wind. It sucked and we all felt like shit. We all worked so fucking hard on the decorations, and they were amazing! I seriously could've cried.

At 8:30, we came inside and ate our late dinner of Fred's Head (that's what I have dubbed it, lol). Mom was watching Carrie, so we watched that. Nick's friends came by after trick-or-treating and watched it with us. There was only about half an hour left to the movie, so after it was finished, Nick and his buds went upstairs. We flipped through the channels and stopped on The Haunting of Molly Hartley, which had an hour left.

It was so fucking stupid. Holy crap, that movie is retarded. Poorly-acted, poorly-done, stupid story. Just plain awful. Anywho, I turned it to Most Shocking on truTV for an hour, then we watched an ep of Forensic Files. Mom started falling asleep around 11:30, so we all got ready for bed and now, here we are. I'm feeling very down right now and just wanna sleep. I don't wanna do anything but sleep for the rest of my life...

Oh, before I go to bed, I took pics of the Halloween decorations with dad's camera, but Photobucket doesn't want to upload them tonight, so I'll post them in a picspam post tomorrow.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

P.S. Title of this post is something Nick said about the boyfriend in Carrie getting knocked out by the bucket. He thought the guy had died, and said that *points to title*, lol.

I'll Have a Chocolate Muffin...You Had a Chocolate Muffin Yesterday
Hello people!

Dad woke me up to help him put up some Halloween decorations at about 10:30 today.

I took a shower, then went outside to help dad. Oh, man, it was so fun. We made some, what we call, "dead guys," which are pants and shirts stuffed with newspaper and whatnot, then connected to look like a body. We set them up how dad wanted 'em. Then we splattered some blood on some of the decorations. Dad chained a dead guy up on the ceiling, which was epic. We took a break around 1:30 for lunch.

I had mac 'n' cheese and watched a little TV. I helped dad a little more til Nick got home, when dad took a break to take him to get coffee down the street (at Cumberland Farms). I was cold from being outside (it was windy today), so I decided to be done helping dad for now and to carve a pumpkin, since we didn't have any carved for tomorrow. The pumpkins we carved for the Pumpkin Fest obviously had to be left there.

They also would be rotten by now, lol. So, I spent about an hour trying to decide what to carve. I really didn't know for a long time, til I remembered a pic I had in my random photos folder on my computer. It was of Jack Skellington, leaning on a huge jack-o-lantern with smaller jack-o-lanterns and pumpkins around him and a creepy fence behind him. So, I did my best to carve it out...

Tender lovelings everywhere, would you like to have a good scare? )

I'll get a better picture (and a video) tomorrow night. I'm also gonna carve another pumpkin tomorrow. It took me, like, four hours to do that (scooping out, carving, etc.). *headdesk* I watched TV while I did that, perhaps that why it took me so long, lol. Title of this post is from What I Like About You. It's funnier in context, but it's hard to explain, lol. *shrugs* Anywho, we had waffles for dinner and they were delish!

Mom has a Facebook, and so does her old friend Cindy (from high school), and Cindy put up a picture of her and mom on a special Senior Night back when they were in high school. Mom and Cindy used to dress up like the Blues Brothers (I think they did it a couple of times), and they did so in the picture. They look awesome, let me say. And I had to show you guys cuz my mom is gorgeous! :D She's on the left...

Back when THEY were in high school... )

Gotta love it, lol. TOMORROW'S HALLOWEEN! Get excited. ;]

I Say, Fuck the Man in the Sky!
Hello people!

I was woken up around 8:00 today.

I took a shower right away and got ready to go to work with mom. We left at about 8:40 and stopped at a sandwich shop where mom was gonna place an order for a Lunch-n-Learn she had on Monday (just so they would be prepared) for it. I was hungry, so mom got me a breakfast sandwich and an iced tea. It was pretty yummy, even though I had some funky mustard instead of yellow on it.

We went to today's Lunch-n-Learn and I helped mom bring in the food to the vets cuz there was a lot of it. Then I went back to the car and rocked out to music for about an hour. When mom was done, we headed to an awesome place to get a sandwich, which was quite tasty. We had to get back home so we could use mom's car instead of her work car. We did and went back out at about 3:30 to go to the movie theater in Wilton.

We got there at 4:10 - ten minutes before the movie started. We were gonna get a soda, but the line was so damn long and there were demonic little children running around, screaming in the lobby, so we decided to just go into the movie. We saw a preview for The Box, which sounds AWESOME. I'm excited to see that. Okay, check out the preview. Now tell me: would YOU do it? I think, in the right situation, I would.

Anywho, we went to see The Invention of Lying, which was kickass. It was hilarious and sad, at times, and took a totally different route than I expected. I enjoyed it. I love Ricky Gervais, too, so that made it even better. And Nate Corddry and John Hodgman are in it! :D WHOOT! Title of this post is from the movie. After that, mom and I stopped at Arby's and got a little snack; I got curly fries, she got some potato cheese bites.

DELICIOUS. We also stopped at Auntie Anne's and got some pretzel sticks. Gah, they are so effing fantastic. I love them. We stopped at Yankee Candle first, then Bath&Body Works. I got a candle called, "Sensual Amber," which from a line called "the sexies." MMM. It smells amazing. And I got a Sleep Body Spray. <3 Eventually, we passed by this comic shop, where we found Bender and Fry action figures (Futurama, of course)!

Mom got 'em for Nick, but I told her I want a Bender action figure for Christmas, too, so she said she'd get me one eventually. SCHAWEET! We stopped in at Ruby Tuesday's where we got dessert; I got lava cake and mom just got coffee. YAY. Unfortunately, we had a dumbass, bitchy waiter who was pretty rude to us and got my order wrong. Oh well. We went home after that and watched some TV.

Hell's Kitchen was totally bitchin. I hope Dave wins so bad. I just love him. We also watched The Middle, which is a fantastic show. LOVES. And now I'm watching Monk. I Skype'd with Vicki for half an hour. That was nice. :] Guess what? Her douchebag boyfriend broke up with her - they were practically engaged to be married. I feel so bad for her, but I feel even worse for not being there. :(

But, and this sounds terribly shallow, at least we can be single together, lol.

Maybe He Was Fancy; Strangled People With His Pinkies Out
Hello people!

Dad woke me up around 10:00 this morning.

He invited me to go with him to pick up some chairs for the kitchen from Pier One. I said I'd love to go, so I got up, got dressed and ready to go, and we left at about 10:30. We got to Pier One around 11:00, I think...actually, it might have been closer to 11:30, but whatever. Mom was nearby (she'd just finished an appointment), so she stopped in the Pier One parking lot to say hi before going on home.

See, she's not allowed to go anywhere in her work car that's NOT an appointment, so she really shouldn't have even stopped to say hi to us, but whatever, I think that rule is really stupid. Anywho, she headed home and dad and I picked up the chairs. There was this place called, "The Candy House" next to Pier One. Of course, we had to stop there. XD I wound up getting a caramel apple, a lollipop for Nick, and some chocolate-covered strawberries for later.

Dad got some random chocolates for all of us. Then we went home to meet up with mom. We went back out to a pub down the street for lunch. I got chicken tenders (though they were tiny, so they were more like nuggets, lol) and awesome curly fries. The food was so good. Holy monkeys, lol. I had my chocolate-dipped strawberry for dessert and then we decided to go up to Wilton, where there's a Barnes&Noble.

We spent quite a few hours there (three, I think, lol). I got a caramel macchiato from the cafe and found a bunch of stuff on sale. Here, I made a video about it (it's only about 2:30 long).

After that, we went home. Mom still wanted to shop, but she didn't have the energy (she just felt like staying out, ya know?). I wanted to continue shopping, too, despite the fact that I'm quickly depleting my cash supply, LOL. MOVING ON, when we got home, I went upstairs and caught up on my YouTube subscriptions. I also, as mentioned in the video above, downloaded some kickass music.

I watched the Bones ep that I kinda missed cuz our satellite fucked up, then I watched the season two premiere ep of Castle, cuz we forgot to DVR it. Title of this post is from it; it was hilarious. X] Um, oh, last night, I watched the latest ep of Cougar Town on Hulu, which, I dunno if you guys have seen that, but I highly recommend it. It's hysterical, and the characters are super likeable. I also watched The Middle.

OMG, I love that show. Axel, the brother, is almost exactly like Nick. HOLY CRAP, they're so much alike. *shudders* Really, the family is my family. Teh rents watched it when it premiered and they love it, too, and concur with my statements, lol. ;D Okay, that's about it.

You Put the Bread IN the Toaster, Then It Becomes Toast!
Hello people!

I was up a little late last night and Nick came downstairs to hang out with me (I was watching TV). We talked for, like, an hour. It was amazing. Sometimes, I'm so impressed with the person that Nick is. The older he gets, the cooler he seems. It was great. <3 :]

I was woken up at 9:00 this morning. I got online for a moment and then got ready to go with mom to her 11:00 appointment. We left at 10:00 and got there at 10:40, and the lady who scheduled the appointment called to say she'd be twenty minutes late. We passed a Starbucks down the streets from the lady's house, so we went back there. I got a caramel macchiato, which tasted terrible.

It wasn't nearly sweet enough. I asked for another shot of caramel syrup, then added two packets of sugar and sprinkled some chocolate powder in. Unfortunately, the lid on the chocolate powder container fell right off and into my coffee. Awesome. I scooped it out with a couple of those super-long stirrers. After that fiasco, I finally got to drink my coffee and it turned out pretty delicious! :D

Mom and I chilled for about half an hour and just chatted and whatnot. Twas quite fun! Then we went to mom's appointment. Unfortunately, it lasted about two hours (they're usually only one hour). I fell asleep for an hour-ish; that was nice. And a TON of great songs were played on the radio today, so YAY! We finally went to Olive Garden for a late lunch around 2:00. I got the ushe and had my cake to go.

It was delicious, of course. We passed a Barnes&Noble on the way to OG, so we decided to go there for a bit. I got Paper Towns (the John Green book I have yet to read); the reason I waited so long was cuz I prefer books in paperback. Plus, they're much cheaper that way. I also got a notebook from the line and style that I love so much (the ones made by Savannah College) on sale at half price! <333

We wanted to stop at the bank so I could deposit my check, but it closed at noon, so alas. I could not. Anywho, there was a Christmas Tree Shop in the mall where the book store was actually located. Mom loves that store, hence, we went there next. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a pretty shitty one with nothing mom wanted. We left for home at about 4:45 and got there at, like, 5:30.

When we got home, we kinda just chilled. I got my shirts from BustedTees in the mail today, but I realized when I opened the package that I stupidly ordered sizes that were too small. *facepalm* SO, I'm exchanging them for the right sizes and the new ones should arrive in a couple days. Seriously, if there's anything I can say about BustedTees, it's that their delivery is insanely speedy. It's incredible!

My order shipped two days ago and it was here today. How epic is that? Just saying. Moving on. Now, teh rents and I are watching Hell's Kitchen. Somehow, it's making me hungry. Jeezus, I STUFFED myself at Olive Garden, how can I be hungry? My body is stupid. X] I'm gonna practice some bellydancing tonight and I'm hoping to go to bed around midnight. I'm freaking exhuasted. *shakes head*

Title of this post is from iCarly. Tomorrow's the premiere of Dexter. I'm staying home to watch it. X] My parents are THE. BEST. EDIT: Oh, I forgot to mention. When mom and I were in Starbucks, she told me that she wouldn't care if I dated a 40 year old man once I'm out of high school. I am pleased.

We're Not Gonna Man-Hug, Are We?
Hello people!

I'm having just as much trouble writing this entry as I did last night. What's wrong with me lately? Grawr.

I had to get up at 7:00 so I could get ready and go with mom. I wound up waking up on my own around 6:49. *headdesk* I am so exhausted, I really need to get some good damn sleep. Anywho, I went right downstairs and got ready. I basically just chilled around the living room til 8:00, which is when we had to leave. I grabbed a couple muffins for us to eat later and we headed out.

Mom had three appointments today. We pretty much just went to all her appointments, which was fun, as usual, for me. I listened to music, ate my muffin, etc. After that, we were hungry, so we went to eat at this cute little deli/pizzeria. I got a club sandwich and curly fries. The food was so good! :D We had a very long trip back; about two and a half to three hours. We called dad and offered to get him dinner.

We got him a sandwich from this deli that mom says is sposed to have amazing food. Then she got me a coffee from Dunkin' Donuts, which sucked so fucking bad, seriously. I have to admit, I hate their coffee. HATE it. It's so terrible. Starbucks has spoiled me for coffee, I need their strong coffee. I love their donuts, though...yeah. Wish I'd gotten one of those. Moving on, lol. We went straight home after that.

Except, I've been craving cake all frakking day, so mom and I went right back out to Hannaford to pick up a small cake. It was decent. Not, ya know, home-made quality or restaurant quality, but something's better than nothing. We got home quick and I cut a good-sized slice for myself. Then I grabbed a glass of water, changed my clothes, and met mom and dad in their room for some Dexter.

We've been watching that all evening. Title of this post is from one of the episodes. We're almost done with season three. GAH. Okay, that's it.

I Seem to Have Cut the Dickens Out of My Finger
Hello people!

This is taking far longer than it should. I just can't concentrate.

I woke up to my alarm again at 9:00 today. I went downstairs and the whole family and I were good for a while. Mom left for work an hour after I got up. Nick tried to make mac 'n' cheese and I tried to help him; I wanted to hold the strainer for him while Nick strained the pasta (we have a strainer that has a long, thin handle but no bottom, so we have to hold it while holding whatever pot has the pasta in it).

It's really hard to do by yourself, so I held the strainer for Nick. Well, he accidentally poured a little boiling water on my index finger, but it didn't really hurt. Oh, but dad freaked out. He yelled at Nick a LOT while I rinsed my finger in cold water. My finger was totally fine, it didn't turn any shade of red, nor did it hurt at any time, so I think dad overreacted. He made Nick cry and Nick went upstairs.

Dad left the room for a while and I went upstairs to get away from that shit. I decided to play GTA: Vice City for a while. It felt good, and I LOVED listening to the music (80's FTW), as always. <3 Nick came in a little later and helped me out with a couple missions and we played with the kitten a little. It was fun. :] Um, then mom came and picked me up and we went out to see Julie&Julia and shop at Target.

The movie was so cute. I loved it. It made me really hungry, though, lol! Title of this post is from Dan Aykroyd's Julia Child that he did on SNL, I believe. A bit was included in the movie and it was frikkin hysterical, and I think I quoted him correctly...(or at least pretty close). Moving on, we got pretzel sticks for a snack next cuz dinner wasn't gonna be for another hour. I got some gumballs for later and then to Target we went.

I got a couple pairs of jeans and some new shirts that I totally love. Unfortunately, they were kinda expensive, which made me feel kinda guilty. I wish Target wasn't so damn expensive. >:( AHEM, anywho, after that, we went out to eat at Friendly's. The food was great, the ice cream was delicious and the waitress was super nice. Her son is starting college next Saturday, just like me! :D

Oh, speaking of college, I got my first book in the mail today! I also got a letter telling me I was approved for my Stafford Loan! So that made me happy! <3 Um, after dinner, mom and I went home with the convertible top down, blasting music. SO much fun. Once we got home, dad, mom and I went up to their bedroom and we all watched an episode of Dexter together. Love that show beyond words.

I'm gonna watch tonight's Monk and Psych tomorrow evening. Mom's taking me with her to work all day. It'll be nice to be out of the house for a day. I like getting away every now and then, ya know? :] Anywho, sorry again about Meme Day. :'(

Oh, Yeah, That Man is a Sexy Man-Beast, Right There
Hello people!

I had a dream last night, but I totally don't remember it.

I woke up at 9:00 to my alarm. I quickly got dressed and went downstairs and discovered, upon entering the living room, that the temperature is far lower today than it has been in weeks! There was actually a sufficient breeze blowing through the house! It was awesome. XD Anywho, I went to the kitchen and said hi to mom and dad. Dad was pissed at Nick already cuz I guess Nick was an ass about having to work.

I got an iced tea and just sat at the counter. Mom left about an hour later, and then dad explained to me what he wanted me to do today. He got Nick to come down to help. Nick insisted that he do what was sposed to be my job, so I let him. It's kinda hard to explain, but there were these thin metal pieces...not bars, exactly, but similar...attached to the ceiling to hold up ceiling tiles. We had to take those down.

Nick did that then, when he was done, went out to mow the lawn. There are about...six or seven wooden planks attached to the ceiling (they held up the metal pieces) with screws and nails. Dad wanted me to take the screws out using his drill and he would get the nails later. So I did that next. Nick came in and put away the clean dishes, then I washed what was dirty. The whole time, 80s music was on the radio. <3

After that, Nick went upstairs and fell asleep and I went in search of my missing boxes. I found one of them (with my posters inside! :D) but I'm still missing...well, I think I'm only missing one other box, but I'm not positive. The problem is, I have searched every room in this house and can't find it. I searched my room, the living room, the Green Room, the breezeway, even the garage and basement. Nothing.

I'm kinda freaking out cuz that box had my dreamcatchers and other important stuff in it that I want to find before I go (IN A WEEK AND A DAY). I just don't know what to do. I know we brought it, I watched dad pack all my boxes in the moving truck. So it has to be here, but fucking where? GAH. I wish I had a tracker on all my boxes, lol. That would be extremely helpful. Anywho, that about brings us to here and now.

Oh, dad got this really awesome, totally gorgeous light to put up in the kitchen for mom. It was a surprise, so he (and I) expected mom to be all, "Aww, it's so pretty, thanks!" But when she got home and saw it, she was practically upset about it. She wants pendant lights above the island, which is fine, cuz this light dad got isn't going above the island, so I don't know what her problem is, but she really bummed dad out.

And me, too! I wanted her to be happy about it, it's a really great light! She should be happy. I think something happened today, cuz she came in the house already depressed. I asked her what's wrong, but she won't say. It's very frustrating. Oh well, I guess. Title of this post is from last night's Leverage, which was freaking hysterical and totally awesome. <3 Um, yeah, that's about it.

You're Gonna Twitch When I Punch You In the Face
Hello people!

I wanted this post to go up sooner, but I had some issues with my book list for college which I will address later.

I had a dream that my parents were getting remarried and that I was planning the ceremony and suchwich. Teh rents wanted Whoopi Goldberg to advise them/me for certain things, but found out she wasn't available, so they had a more low-key celeb doing that. We were in a restaurant and Whoopi came up to us and was like, "Guess what guys? I can advise you!" Teh rents got all happy, then I woke up.

We don't even like Whoopi that much, lol, so it was weird. Anywho, I woke up at 7:00 and tried desperately to go back to sleep for the next half hour, to no avail. I got up and painted my toenails before going downstairs. I didn't have anything to eat cuz mom and I were gonna have an early-ish lunch while we were out. We chilled for an hour or so and left around 9:00 to start our day of college shopping! :D

I had to open a bank account somewhere here (National City doesn't have any branches here), so we went to Key Bank first. I got my new account and my debit card should come in the mail in a couple days! I'm gonna order some checks online with mom...prolly tonight, cuz the booklet they had at the bank was outdated. We were starving by then (it was around 11:00 - our bank guy was talkative, lol).

SO, we went to this cool pub-like place called O'TOOLE'S. I desperately wanted a sandwich, so I got a club. It was DELICIOUS. Holy crap, and their fries were so damn good! It was a loverly lunch. :] Mom and I went to Sears to pick up some power tools for dad and then we went to Wal*Mart. We got almost everything on my list; the only thing we didn't get was a bath robe, which we'll pick up at Target.

I have this favorite pair of jeans that I mentioned I wore a whole in. I got them at Wal*Mart last year, probably in August. I had gotten the exact same pair the year before, too. So I expected to find them this year, no problem. I was so frakking wrong. I couldn't find my damn fave jeans, not even a single pair of jeans that I liked! I'm gonna hold out for Target to get jeans and hope they have something I like.

We came home after that (although, we stopped to get milkshakes ;D) and unloaded everything from the car. I brought all my stuff upstairs and organized everything. I put all my filler paper and dividers in my binders and put all my pens/pencils in my pencil box, etc.! I LOVED doing that, it was more fun than I can possibly explain for me to organize school stuff. It makes me ridiculously happy, haha!

Since then, I've been chilling. I took a twenty-minute nap cuz I'm so damn tired. Watched some TV, played with the cats. Oh, so, apparently, we're sposed to check the Green Mountain info website to find our book list. I checked all over the site and there was nothing there about books. So then I went to the social networking site to ask my fellow classmates if they knew what to do.

There was already an existing discussion about it. We had to go to this site that has never been linked to or sent to any of us, type in the course number of our classes (individually, of course), and then order our books (which are then sent to the school's library). No one EVER said ANYTHING about this shit to me, but I guess I was sposed to just figure it out on my own, though I dunno how I ever would've done that.

Maybe it's just me, but I think it's just common courtesy to just TELL ME what I need to do or where I need to go. I'll do it, but I'm not psychic, I don't automatically know when I'm sposed to do something. /rage. Moving on, um, I finally figured it out and holy crap, guys, the books I have to get are INSANE. They sound super complicated, I hope I can handle these classes. I'm pretty nervous now, lol.

Oh, AND, my parents and I thought we'd have the entire weekend before school started to hang out and say goodbye and be together, ya know? Which I desperately fucking wanted. But instead, we have this whole planned out weekend, like some freaking cruise schedule! It's ridiculous! >:[ I'm so pissed about this, I don't care if it's sposed to "build relationships" or something, I want to spend time with my family!

...sorry, I'm done. We're gonna go to Target at some other point cuz we got really tired earlier (and it was frikkin hot). We'll prolly do that sometime this week. Title of this post is something Nick said earlier. It seemed quite funny at the time. Yeah, uh. The end.

I'm a Pimp and These Are My Co-Hoes
Hello people!

Sorry for the late post, we just got home about an hour ago and I took a shower right away. :}

I accidentally slept in super late and didn't wake up til 10:45. *facepalm* I had my alarm set, I just didn't get up. Mom came and got me up and asked if I would go to some work thing with her. I said yeah, of course, and got ready. When I got downstairs, I ate a muffin for breakfast and watched the first half hour of last night's Monk (we wound up watching DVRd eps of LA Ink). It was funny...thus far, lol. XD

Then we headed out! We went to this park in Albany. It was GORGEOUS. It was a riverfront park and, yeah, it was just beautiful. The sucky thing is, there were about seven booths and maybe a total of twenty people there, lol. And there was a band playing really loud, so we couldn't hear each other really well. We only stayed for an hour, though. Then we drove to Barnes & Noble in Saratoga Springs.

It's only half an hour away from our house! :D Oh, I saw a sign for a town named, "Cohoes" on the highway and thought it was hilarious, so I made up the title of this post, haha. Yes, I'm lame. Anywho, dad met us there (he'd stayed home from the work thing but wanted to join us for the fun part of the day, lol) and we were there for, like, three hours. It was fun, but unfortunately, I didn't get anything. *shrugs*

We went out to eat at Ruby Tuesday's cuz it was 5:00 by then. We all got the salad bar and laughed our freakin heads off. XD We had such a good time, lol, it was awesome. <3 The Ruby's was actually in a mall, so we decided to walk around it. We didn't think there were any Hot Topics in New York, but we found one in this mall! :D We stopped to get some gumballs at a pagoda as we walked around.

We went to Bath and Body Works first, and I got the Sleep body wash that I love so much (it was on sale! <3). Next, we went to Yankee Candle, but we just browsed in there. We went to Hot Topic after that and I got a Kingdom Hearts t-shirt and a really awesome blue and black checkered/plaid scarf. We saw so many cool shirts, but HT is pretty expensive, ya know? $22 is a lot for a t-shirt...imo.

On our way out, we passed a display in PACSUN where they had this kickass blue-and-gray-striped t-shirt. Mom saw it and said, "OMG THAT WAS MADE FOR YOU" (seriously, she kept saying that, lol). So she got it for me. ;] We finally went home after that. And now I'm writing this, lol. Mom and I are doing my big college shopping trip on Monday. I'm super excited for it! :D

There's a Little Situation...She's a Nut
Hello people!

I had a dream that mom and I went to some fun place and laughed our heads off. I mean, I don't really remember exactly where we went or what we did, I just remember laughing a LOT. I woke up at 7:40 and just went downstairs; my alarm was set for 8:00, so I figured I'd just get up. Oh, speaking of my alarm - I got my entire room set up! :D All my electronics, my books, my clothes! It's awesome. <3

I still have a couple boxes in the garage, methinks, but s'all good. I've got what I need (except for my posters, lol). Oh, so, anywho, I went downstairs and said g'morning to everyone. Then, I got a list of things to do today. I immediately got started and knocked out the whole thing in an hour and a half (Nick was up at 8:00 to work with me, too). Nick and I sat in the kitchen for an hour or so and just laughed.

I tend to get incredibly silly when I'm tired, and I was exhausted today, lol. I was epically goofy when Nick and I were hanging in the kitchen, and that was really fun. We snuggled Celtic and I made myself a sandwich. Then Nick and I went to the school to get him registered. We got the packet he needed and gave them proof of residence. Once the packet's done, Nick gets to pick his classes with his counselor.

WHOOT. He and I went to the cafeteria and sat in one of the kickass booths (I have to bring my camera next time and take pics or something). It was awesome. XD We looked around the area where you get your hot food and found a cappucino machine with awesome flavors like Cherry Vanilla, Swiss Mocha and Caramel. <3 The more I see of the high school, the more I wanna go there, LOL. XD

And Nick! OMG, he said a couple times that he wants school to start cuz he loves the building so much and wants to be there. I hope he's still that excited when classes start. So, we left and headed back home after that and we told dad what happened. I told dad that I was exhausted and he said Nick and I could go take naps real quick if we wanted to. Which we did, lol. I slept for an hour.

YAY SLEEP. Dad came and got me up at 12:43 cuz he had to leave and he said I should prolly get up and get ready to go with mom to the fair again (even though we didn't have to leave til 3:30). Dad asked me to get Nick up and I said I would, then he left (I'm actually not sure where he went...prolly the store, I guess, lol). I slept for another half hour ;] and then I got up and made myself another small sandwich.

I figured if I fill myself up now, I don't have to waste, like, $8 on food at the fair tonight. I drank a frappucino (they were on sale a week ago and dad got me two packs :D) to wake myself up, and it mostly worked. My eyes aren't sleepy, but the rest of me still is. Now I'm just watching WifeSwap. I'm letting Nick sleep a little longer than dad wanted cuz, well, Nick's been sleeping really bad lately.

I had, like, three different possible titles for this post that I don't remember. At all. *headdesk* The one I used is from some commercial on Lifetime. *shrugs* I hate the Swiffer WetJet commercials. :'( The women are such bitches. And the old mop is always so sad. I just wanna snuggle it. *is weird* Moving on, Monk and Psych are on tonight! :D Mom was given an appointment at 3:00 and when she picks us up, we're gonna be late.

That is, if she picks us up at all. We kinda don't wanna go cuz, yea, the fair's fun, but no one comes up to our booth, ya know? It's kinda boring. And the fair's an hour away, so it's one hour to drive there, one hour at the actual fair, then one hour back home. It's stupid. I think we're prolly gonna stay home. *shrugs* I don't mind, I can go back to sleep, haha. XD

A Yay Is Better From a Gay!
Hello people!

I woke up at 10:00 today and dad came in my room to say hi. Just randomly, lol. Then he told me that he put up the curtain things that caused such a problem yesterday and said to tell mom that I did it. <3 I was very grateful for that, lol. :] He asked me to wake up Nick cuz I'm the only person in the family who can get Nick up nicely, LOL. He's totally right, Nick usually wakes up for me no problem.

But whenever mom and dad try to get him up, he tends to go back to sleep. Anywho, I got Nick up and went and took a shower. Dad went outside to mow the lawn, so I got a little me-time. I watched some TV and ate a late breakfast (muffin! :D). I know TV's not the most important thing in the world, but it's incredibly annoying when my parents call me downstairs to do shit while I'm trying to watch a show.

I had to make some calls, so I did, but I didn't get through to anyone (it was in regard to the financial aid stuff). Mom got home an hour or so later, and I helped her get her stuff out of her car. Then I helped her organize her bag the second time in a week. She's so disorganized, it drives me crazy, but she doesn't listen to me, even though she asks for my help, lol. *shakes head* Whatevski.

Oh, oh, title of this post is from Will & Grace. Moving on, I had to call my college to let them know I filled out my application for my student loan, which I did, and now mom and dad are discussing payment. You may be wondering why I'm posting this so early. Well, I totally forgot, but mom has to go to this fair thing where Invisible Fence has a booth, and as always, I'm going with her. She hates being alone.

Plus, it's a fair, which means they'll have corn dogs and fries and milkshakes. MMM YAY! XD We have to leave in about an hour and won't get back til 9:30. Oh well, I spose. Don't forget, [info]meme_day is this Saturday! :] I know I'm prolly getting a little annoying with my reminders, lol, but I'm gonna keep posting them every day til Saturday. ;] And now, back to WifeSwap.

All They Did Better Than Us Was Suck and Die
Hello people!

Damn it, I don't remember my dreams from last night.

I woke up at 10:00 today to the sound of men tearing apart two of the walls in the living room so they could put up insulation cuz, guess what? This house has NO insulation. *shakes head* I took my shower and then teh rents had me come into the kitchen to work on the financial aid shit for college. It was boring, confusing, annoying, and mom was pissed off for no reason, so overall, it sucked.

They left around noon to go to the stove store for a while. I did the dishes and then watched some TV. Then I got Nick up and told him to do his chores (which I wound up helping him with). I went back to my room and stayed there til mom and dad got home at, like, 5:00. I was sposed to put these stupid hook things up in the bathroom to hold back the curtains. The thing is, I'm kind of afraid of screwing up again.

I don't wanna put unnecessary holes in the wall, and I don't want something in crooked or something not level. I'm just scared I'm gonna fuck up, ya know? So I didn't do it. Mom considered that being lazy and yelled at me for it. I don't really think that was fair, but what else is new? I'm just tired. Tired of everything. It's times like this when I wish I had a boyfriend to take me away for a little bit, lol. ;]

So, uh, that's about it. Wow, this post is boring. Have a freaking hilarious video.

Title of this post is from an ep of Futurama that Nick played for me last night. OH! Don't forget! Meme Day is THIS SATURDAY!!! :D Tell your friends!

Dad, Where Are Your Pants? ...In the Fridge...
Hello people!

I slept better last night, I think because we covered the top of the window with something, which was leaking in freakishly bright sunlight every morning at 6:00. I slept til 7:00 this morning. It was wonderful. Mom got up earlier than me, but yeah, we went down to breakfast at 7:00 and chilled there for half an hour til incredibly loud people came downstairs and practically shouted to each other.

Mom spent the next half hour getting ready and then she left (the seminar started early today). I took my shower and packed everything up and just chilled all morning. Checkout was noon, but we got mine extended to 1:00 so I could hang out in the room a little longer. I spent the morning watching TV again, of course, and I ate my leftover chicken fingers and breadsticks from last night's meal.

One of the Frasiers on this morning was the one where Martin accidentally gets high, and the title of this post is from that ep. It's HILARIOUS, def one of my faves. I went down to the lobby at 12:47 and was able to watch Desperate Housewives and WifeSwap. <3 Mom came to get me at 3:00. We stopped at a rest-stop at five-something to grab some dinner (Burger King). It was, ya know, as good as fast food can be, lol.

I dipped my fries in my shake and mom knew prior to tonight that I did that, but she still thinks it's really weird. I told her that all my friends in high school did that, too, lol, and she thought that was even more weird. I wanted her to try out, but she was too grossed out by it. We spent the next hour and a half talking about food. What foods we like, what foods we don't like, weird combos and textures, etc.

It was incredibly fun. We stopped at an ice cream place right down the street from our house where I got soft-serve chocolate dipped in chocolate. It was so good, I haven't had dip on my ice cream in five years! No one in Ohio ever did it! :D I'm so happy to have dip again, lol. <3 And then we went home! It was so nice to see the kitties and dad and Nick, I actually missed them more than I thought.

Nick made us come up to his room to show us what he'd done; he got, like, six or seven posters (including one of some whore in a bathing suit looking whore-ish) from Spencers and put them up in his room. He also got a bunch of clothes and stuff. I must admit, and I hate this about myself, but everytime Nick gets something and I don't get something, I feel really painfully jealous. I have issues. *shakes head*

I asked dad if he fixed my bed (I think I mentioned this before but half my bed is broken, so I've had to sleep on it in its couch/futon form, on the side that's not broken, lol. I've been sleeping like shit lately, and I think that's why - there's no space to move around. We bought a plank of wood to fix what's broken in my bed.). He said yes, he had, go check it out. Turns out dad painted my room while I was gone. :']

It was such a wonderful surprise. <3 And my room looks AWESOME, I love it!

I had a reason...Fridge Pants... )

We're gonna paint my door with some kind of funky design on it, but I don't know what. Maybe a design like a couple contemporary squares like my old room, or maybe some coffee cups or maybe something completely different...any suggestions? I dunno what I want up there. I love my room, though, it's kickass. I just gotta get my furniture up and get my shit put away, lol, which I can hopefully do tomorrow.

And that's about it. We're watching Hell's Kitchen now and I'm gonna go to bed early-ish tonight. Teh rents and I are going to do a little shopping tomorrow, and I'm stoked for that. I'm hoping I can find some cool stuff while we're out, though for what, I don't know. *shrugs*

You Don't See Me Wearin Glasses and Hats!
Hello people!

Okay, so, I meant to ask this in my last post and totally forgot.

The guy running the seminar mom had to go to did a bunch of games and exercises, and one of the games was called, "21." It requires two people and the goal is to get to 21 - whoever gets there first, wins. Now, you can either say one number or two consecutive numbers. It goes something like this:

Mom: 1
Me: 2, 3
Mom: 4, 5
Me: 6
Mom: 7, 8
Me: 9
Mom: 10
Me: 11
Mom: 12
Me: 13, 14
Mom: 15, 16
Me: 17
Mom: 18
Me: 19, 20
Mom: 21

Now, obviously, there are a ton of different patterns, mom could've said, "1, 2" instead of "1" in the beginning, I could've just said, "2" at the beginning instead of, "2, 3" etc. The thing is, the guy that ran this whole game said there's a simple trick to this game, an easy pattern. Everyone at the seminar played against him, and no matter who started or what they said, he always won.

I can't figure it out. Neither can mom. So we're turning to you guys: what's the pattern? I don't see it! Help, please!

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*

Drink a Glass of Milk, Do Some Fucking Thing
Hello people!

I actually don't think this post has a purpose...oh, I can attach the meme from yesterday to it.

Um, I just wanted to bitch somewhere that I'm fucking sick of Twitter being down. It's been on and off (though mostly off) for the whole day and I feel angry and sad and overall blech-y that I can't talk to anyone on there. :'( Also, I tried explaining to mom over dinner how theraputic (sp?) and wonderful blogging is and that I think she should do it (I truly believe it would help her), but she's afraid of sharing private information.

She thinks talking about having a fight with dad or money concerns about the house is sharing too much with too vast an audience. I understand why she feels that way, but I still think she's being silly. Just because something is available on the internet doesn't mean the entire internet's gonna read it, ya know? And blogging has helped my life so much, I just wish I could share it with mom. *shrugs*

Oh well, I guess. I wanna play MGS, but mom is gonna force me to watch Three Men and a Baby. I don't have anything against the movie (I've never seen it, but Tom Selleck is good enough reason to), I'm just not in the movie-watching mood. OH! And my dumbass Yahoo! Mail did NOT tell me about the comments left on my entry here and still refuses to. That's also pissing me off. Okay, enough babbling.

P.S. Sorry about the stupid not-cutting. Fucking LJ. I'm done with the internet for today, jeezus chryzt.
